How to……..?

I don’t know about you, but if I don’t follow the instructions on the box, it all gets messed up.

When it comes to Elections, we in Scotland are getting into the habit of messing things up. Take the last GE for example, what a mess we are in now. We voted for anything but Independence, which wasn’t even on the agenda.

How did that come about?

Because our main Independence Party didn’t think it was that important, resulting in only 9 MPs in Westminster. 9 out of the 57 available!

They dropped the ball.

These people won’t!

Liberate Scotland has picked up that ball and its game on!

Think of Liberate Scotland as the Ryder Cup of politics in Scotland. A team made up from several parties…..the Unity Team.

A team that actually works together, now there’s a novelty.

They are doing this because they know that if we don’t unite around the single issue of Independence, then everything else becomes a busted flush.

At the very least, we must unite around the importance of next year’s election being a Plebiscite election.

An election where every vote for an Independence Party counts as a Yes vote…..every Party, not just the SNP.

We cannot live on memories or past stratergies. The idea of SNP 1 & SNP 2 is long gone. Partly because of the drop in their membership but more importantly, they didn’t deliver.

So, let’s fix the problem now and get it right next year.

What betrayal looks like….

These are not the faces of people working for you or I, they are the faces of betrayal.

Betrayal of every man, woman and child in Britain.

I find it incredible when MPs say ‘we’ have to pay for past mistakes that they made. Politicians, neither in Westminster nor Holyrood, ever pay for the mistakes they make. Occasionally one may lose their elevated position for sins committed, but that’s it. They still sit in government taking highly inflated wages, and let’s not forget expenses!

We need the power to ‘recall’ them, we need Direct Democracy!

What is it about our psyche that makes us vote for fantasy rather than face reality?

Well, these people don’t and won’t!

By stepping up, each candidate is saying, ‘We know the reality that faces us and we are not having it’. We will not be silenced.

Independence is not an easy cop-out, there will still be hurdles to jump. The difference is, that we will have a say in how we jump them.`

Scotland’s problems should be solved by Scotlands people, in a very Scottish way!!

We may make mistakes along the way, but they will be our mistakes and we will learn from them.

Should we decide to go down the Direct Democracy route, we are fortunate enough to be able to look across to Europe and see what’s working across there, and adapt to our own needs.

Don’t be afraid of ‘new’, be afraid of the reality we are all facing. The reality of a Budget that will once again penalise us for their mistakes.

This is Westminsters black hole not Scotlands…..we don’t have to ‘be in it together’!

We have an active get out route with the Decolonisation initiative and we have a political alliance to enable it.

The height of hypocrisy…..

With Starmer, it is always a case of doing one thing with his right hand and another with his left.

He cannot declare support for Palastine as a nation at the same time as supply arms to Israel to annihilate it. It is morally indefensible to do so, …….but he is and there is nothing we can do about it.

But then that’s what hypocrites do, they parade their egos on the world stage.

Scotland cannot change how Westminster and its politicians work, but we can change Scotland.

Many Scots are saying they are Scottish not British…….then prove it!

Prove it by putting Scotland and Independence first in the May 2026 Election. Because if you vote for a Unionist party or Devolutionist party, you are in fact saying you are British!!

History only repeats itself if we allow it to do so.

Liberate Scotland has been created to stop the creeping power that Westminster is exerting over Scotland.

The UK Internal Market Act 2020, tightened the grip Westminster had on us, further rendering the Devolution Act useless.

It was a game and we lost!

Liberate Scotland is not about individuals seeking power, it’s about individuals giving power back to you, the people of Scotland.

It’s a short-term strategy which will facilitate the outcome of the Decolonisation initiative.

Hear it and believe it!!

Don’t hibernate over the winter, instead, re-ignite your energy towards Independence.

If there is one thing we have learned over the past few years it is this, forget Manifestos, they all, and I mean all, have their hidden agendas! Ones that we would never have voted for.

Direct Democracy would put an end to that!

A system that can be tailored to our own needs, but most importantly……you are in charge!

A political dream that becomes a nightmare.

Political dreams turn to nightmares when Politicians are faced with reality.

As the ‘number’ row rumbles on regarding the rally in London, one thing is clear, those scenes must be troubling the political elite, if not giving them nightmares.

Whatever the reason, the English lion has woken up.

But what of the Scottish lion? Our reasons to wake up are very different.

Where is the roar that fills the hearts of our present politicians with fear?

The AUOB March made a point, but is that it until next year? Have we packed away our marching boots and voices for their winter slumber?

Well, this lot haven’t!

Hibernate or Liberate, this is your winter choice! But, please remember that choices bring consequences.

We can sleepwalk into oblivion or keep marching vocally if not physically.

Splits are splits, but not all splits are bad!

Splits mean people are beginning to think differently. Who would have thought months ago that there are others also looking to the UN for a route? Slightly different from Salvo, but UN nonetheless.

If there is more than one route to Independence, then we should hold that in our minds should the train presently on the track stall for any reason.

I don’t think it will, but politics is a dirty game, even within the UN.

A plan is a plan no matter who presents it.

Liberate Scotland is built on Unity and that unity demands we work together, we lay down our particular swords and unite around a common cause. That cause is Independence.

We live in a different world than we did at the time of the Referendum, and 10 years down the line it will be different again. What hasn’t changed is the corruption we see both in Local government and National, and it never will change until we change the system.

We don’t need cheerleaders we need team players. We may come from different Parties or none, but one thing is for sure, as far as Scotland is concerned, we are all in the same boat, facing the same storm.

If you have the same political dream as I have, then grab an oar and start rowing.

The so-called United Kingdom is no longer a safe harbour for Scotland….if it ever was! The hawks are circling, they know there is money to be made out of war. And it doesn’t take a genius to work out which part of the country will pay the heaviest price.

Use your vote to say enough is enough.

Entitlement or Enlightenment?

I suppose it is a pretty fair assumption to say that the people at this table feel ‘entitled’. Sad to say that also includes the PM and our FM.

When ‘entitlement’ creeps into politics, the focus changes from the country and others to self and party. And the longer they cling to power the greater that entitlement is.

It doesn’t seem to matter that policies and decisions recently made have been disastrous, that feeling of entitlement still remains.

We have a choice to make next year, it’s a choice between continuity and what could be.

On Saturday I ventured across to the Eagle Inn at Coatbridge, new territory for me!

I sat and listened to many good speakers, Tommy was in great form. Amongst the things that resonated with me was the power of a Plebiscite Election. I don’t think people really understand what it is or the authority it brings with it.

So, what is a Plebiscite Election and how can it bring us closer to Independence?

plebiscite

plebiscite is a direct vote by eligible voters to decide an important public question, such as a change to the constitution, secession, or a similar issue of national or regional importance.

In short, it is used as a form of unofficial referendum.

Now, when I use the word ‘unofficial’ that doesn’t mean it is useless, on the contrary it shows the WILL of the people on a specific matter.

It may not be legally enforceable but in my view it would be ‘morally enforceable’! If we showed the world how strong the YES vote really is, this would surely enhance the Decolonisation initiative in the future. It would also cause a huge embarrassment to Westminster.

Our mission now, should be to educate people on this matter and rekindle the passion we had in 2014.

Press the reset button now.

Change will not happen through some kind of mystical miracle, it can only happen through us.

Be the change you want to see!

My freedom is bound up in yours! Only Unity can make this miracle of freedom happen.

Don’t underestimate People’s power.

People are rising over several issues, we need to rise again over Independence. That is our single most important issue. We can do nothing without it.

When talking Independence also talk Plebiscite!!

Loyalties….

The problem with Scottish Politics is, more than half the Parties you vote for are English!

Forget brand ‘Scottish Labour or Scottish Liberals’ even worse ‘The Scottish Unionist & Conservative Party’ …..they are only brands of English, Westminster Parties. If you vote for any of them, you are voting for a continuance of Westminster rule. They can promise you the earth but you won’t get the soil you stand on!

Again, last week, Lammy slammed the door shut on Scotland for at least another 10 years. When is Scotland going to stop asking and start taking?

A way has opened up, not just opened up, the train is running and if we don’t get on it, we will be committing monumental harm to Scotland and ourselves.

The SNP may scoff at this UN route, but you cannot demand the rights of Palastine on the one hand yet deny your own country the same International legal rights.

Kier Starmer, does not do, due diligence in any way shape or form, I doubt if he even knows the meaning of it.

He is trying to rule by the rule of Law and many believe we are heading for civil war because of it.

The only way we can reverse this tide in Scotland is to vote for people who are prepared to change the system.

Defiance or Silence, which will you choose?

You can follow and support all the groups that believe in an independent Scotland, like Salvo/Liberation, or the SSRG, but if you don’t vote for the Parties that also support them then your vote will count for nothing.

The Political event that will bring about change is in May 2026, so we need to get all our ducks in a row and know who we are voting for.

These are the people standing with Liberate Scotland.

Now the thing about these people is, they are not career politicians, ‘its about outcomes not incomes’.

And the outcome is Independence!

Becoming a Politician is not something they have craved for, on the contrary it’s the last thing they wanted to be, so why stand?

They see a need not being met by our present Nationalist Party and they are brave enough to step up and fill that gap. They have no intention of remaining silent as Westminster continues to use Scotland as its money tree.

Their desire is only Independence, but to do that you have to be in the system. A system that is broken, an archaic system that binds us to our colonisers. A system that takes all our resources and gives us pocket money in return.

We need to move forward…..

A system that says we can be Independent but refuses us the mechanism to put that choice to the people, because last time was too close for comfort…..even after they fixed it!!

Those standing under the Liberate Scotland flag know the route to take and they are not the kind of people you can buy off!

They are not into ‘State Banquets’.…..just a party at the end of the road!!

So, let’s make this a date….

Dictatorships or Democracies?

When a Party tightens its rules so tight that it is nigh impossible to make a Leadership challenge, or control all the committees then it’s DONE!

Leadership is about enablement not control.

Leadership is about unlocking the potential of others, not just the ones who agree with you.

Surely SNP members must use their authority to bring democracy back into their party and crucially demand next year’s Election be run as a plebiscite Election. Otherwise, we could be in danger of halting the only train on the track.

We can not let the Devolutionists win, and remember, a Devolutionist is no different to a Unionist!

Now, you might be thinking what has the SNP got to do with you?!!!

I would say everything! The SNP are the party in government in Scotland.

The picture up above states ‘this is everyone’s fight’ …..it is. We are all stakeholders and Independence must come before party.

Whilst Salvo is non-political, politicians will be required to further the initiative to its conclusion, which is Independence.

There is however one thing we must all do and that is get people out to vote. We need to explain what a Plebiscite election is, and the power it can yield. And we need all the Independence parties on board.

Your vote is your vote! It’s private!

If you need to be a rebel, then be one! It’s time to step up again for Scotland.

No Banquets….just butties!

Our FM may like to sit down and eat posh nosh, paid for by you and I, but I know a group of people who are quite at home with a good Scottish chip butty!

Now I know the FM says he was networking, but was he not in the States last week doing just that? He looked very much at home indulging with the so-called elite…..me-thinks he looked too much at home in that setting.

Oh well, he failed in his mission but at least he got a freebie! It should be noted that the other devolution FMs all declined the invite.

But then we already know that Swinney intends to keep the Royals in Scotland, as made clear in the reply sent to Colette Walker regarding changing the Oath.

Let’s move forward a few years and imagine we are living in an Independent Scotland, we need to think about this, because it is going to happen!

Q1. Do we want the same type of governance as we have now? (ruled by Politicians we can’t remove)

Q2. Would we be better served by Direct Democracy? ( something like Switzerland, where the People rule)

Q3. Do we want a Monarchy or a Republic?

Q4. Should all Political Parties be registered in Scotland? ( no links to Westminster.)

Q5. Should Scotland have its own currency? ( a gradual change as Ireland did.)

Q6. EFTA or Eu? ( the latter would require the dismantling of Freeports etc.)

Q7. How, and who should we choose a leading figurehead? ( Political or neutral.)

Q8. Who should negotiate terms with Westminster, because we are going to have to? ( politicians or a specialist team.)

Q9. Reparations? ( for goods stolen or a drawn line?)

Q10. NATO & Nukes?

10 questions to think about, many, many more to be asked. The most important thing is to start thinking about the direction we want to go because our direction of travel, must be forward.

Why?…… because…..

Doing this also puts us into a positive frame of mind.

This is your country and Independence is only the beginning. What you want after that matters.

Within Liberate Scotland are candidates who belong to different Parties. Whilst LS stands on one platform only to get us over the line, individuals within that group may belong to Parties who have policies for moving Scotland forward. Look them up.

Members of Political parties need to understand, they own the agenda, not their leaders. So, have your say! Leaders need to remember it is people who make majorities not them, and what is given can be taken away.

Democracy within a political party is just as important as democracy within a country. Having leaders who court Royalty is not a good look for Scotland, having leaders who are prepared to fight for Scotland in the international courts is.

There are only three positions in life, we either stand still, move backwards or move forwards.

Where are you?

Are you moving forward, chip butty in hand with Liberate Scotland?

Moving forward with the people’s People?

The reconstruction of Scotland has started. We may be only at the fringes, but we have arrived.

Scotland needs construction workers…..will you be one?

They are not laughing now!

https://www.thenational.scot/politics/25469189.national-goes-geneva-cover-scottish-decolonisation-push/

Politicians need to be more careful about who or what they laugh at, these things have a habit of biting back.

The fact that the Salvo/Liberation case has reached its first destination must be rattling a few cages this week. The more hurdles jumped, the more questions there are for the SNP by the many who believed they would deliver.

When the ‘gold standard’ way closes, is it not incumbent for the main Independence Party to seek other routes?…..unless of course the high-heed yins had changed course and taken control of the agenda.

Will the members take back control at their conference and get their plan approved?

Interesting times indeed.

We, on the other hand don’t have to wait because we are already on a train that is moving.

But, here’s the thing, unless we put the right people into Holyrood next year everything will come to a grinding halt!

Why?

Because unionist MSPs will bring it to a halt and that includes Devolutionists! The requirements needed to fulfil the Salvo/ Liberation initiative are, to put it quite simply, a clear majority in Holyrood of those committed not only to the UN route but Independence before anything else.

Only the people of Scotland standing in unity can make this happen. We know our current crop of MSPs won’t, with the exception of one or two very notable ones. I’m not even sure where the Greens stand now, especially on the EU route.

It is time for the extra ordinary people to take over…..deliver….then stand down to allow normal elections to resume. This is the reason Liberate Scotland was formed.

Please understand one thing: 2026 will not be a ‘normal’ election. There are too many caveats riding on it. Never before in our history has an election been held that rides alongside a live UN case that can change the course of the country.

……and we must get ready for the outcome no matter how long we have to wait. It has been suggested that the full course could take up to 4 years. That may sound like a long time but it is within the next Parliamentary term.

The UN legal system moves slowly, but it does move!

Decisions…….!

We make decisions all day and every day, sometimes without even noticing. But it is the big ones that define who we are where we are going.

2026 will be one of those moments when the decisions we make will shape Scotlands future for many years to come. I hope they will not be years of regret.

Many look back on 2014 as a year of regret, I don’t!

I have always believed the referendum was fixed, not because of all the conspiracy theories but because of what I saw with my own eyes. From the very first result that came in, I felt something was wrong.

I believe we did vote Yes and many reports since back that up.

Next year we can make a similar decision, it might just be a Holyrood election, but there’s a lot at stake. The question is though, are we brave enough to cause a few waves, or even a small political earthquake?

Salvo and Liberation Scotland are making waves, you are beginning to hear about it in the Press, with the National covering the first representative meeting in Geneva this week. Many ears are pricking up worldwide. ‘Scotland is getting it’, they are whispering!

The other weekend at the AUOB March, you turned those whispers into a shout! and you let the world know we meant business.

The SNP may wish to talk down the UN initiative but there are many within that party who are now thinking along the same lines as Salvo…and they will at least be heard!

It’s going to be an interesting Conference season, both north and south of the Border.

The destiny of Scotland is in the hands of each one of us, Liberate Scotland, gets this. Each one standing gets how important 2026 will be in the history of Scotland. They are prepared to do the heavy lifting for us, all we have to do is vote for them.

There is no ‘gravy train’ for them just self sacrifice and self finance! …or what I call, just honest Scots.

Those who sought position were weeded out and they are still huffing and puffing about it!

If you are undecided as to who will vote for and you want Independence more than anything, then ask yourself this….

Who is running alongside the UN initiative?

Holyrood needs a reset, let’s make it happen.
