If you want the view……

I thought this was very apt just now.

When it comes to doing we are very good at passing the buck. We don’t just hope someone else will step up, we expect them to!

Sorry folks, but the buck stops with every one of us. If Independence is your dream, then you must help make it happen.

The other week we heard 20mins of bluff and huff from our FM, so we can take it for granted that he and his cohort will not be helping the cause……only helping themselves!

Devolutionists to the core!

I don’t know about you but I am fed up with going round and round on the hamster wheel.

All this leaves a political void. Where do people who want to vote for independence go?

Liberate Scotland are climbers, and they are geared up to reach the top of the mountain.

We are what we do, not what we say we will do. {Carl Jung} Dreams are only dreams until we make them a reality. To put it quite simply, actions speak louder than words!

If we want the view, we must climb the mountain with Liberate Scotland.

The wanting, and waiting are over, we must prepare the ground for the Salvo/ Liberation initiative to go through.

The Election may not be until next year, but the campaigning has already started, we must stay ahead of the game. We need that army of Yessers to rise again in unity, and there’s only one party doing Unity, and that is Liberate Scotland.

The Prime Minister is fighting for his political life……we must fight for Scotland.

Resilience…

Ever heard of Kintsugi? [Japanese]

“It’s a celebration of resilience, a testament to our ability to heal and grow, and a reminder that we, like the bowl, can become more beautiful and stronger for our scars.”

When I used to interview people for a position, one of the questions I asked along with, ‘What are your strengths’ was ‘What are your weaknesses’? You would be surprised at the number of people who thought they had none, or even annoyed that I dared to ask the question.

Remember the film, ‘The Eagles Have Landed’? Well, I believe that within the Independence movement, many egos have definitely landed.

We are either one in this fight or we are nothing.

Dark influences are at work in Scotland just now. Another kind of invasion is trying to take over, and it spells trouble. It’s called the Far Right.

This flag represents ‘Inclusion’, and yet in some parts of the country, it is being flown with a more insidious meaning.

Whatever is happening within our cities just now, it is not the fault of people but political choices and policies….. or the lack of.

And the only way to sort out any problems in Scotland is to do so from a Scottish perspective. For that, we need Independence and a government run by the people, for the people.

And if you think the only choice is between the two main parties, then you have not been paying attention.

A choice is a choice even if it’s a new choice!

And when I say new, I also mean daring!

Liberate Scotland are the metaphorical gold that is mending the broken bowl, that is Scottish politics. They are honouring the journey of those who have gone before, like Margo MacDonald, Iain Lawson and Alex Salmond etc.

And through their resilience, we can win!

The man with a parachute!

John Forbes.

Let’s talk about John, the man who truly does do, ‘courage’!

The man with a passion for Scotland, but that is not his only passion. He is also passionate about people. In particular about people who struggle with life.

As such he is actively involved with an organisation called Tartan Talkers.

https://www.tartantalkers.scot/

He sits on the Board of this organisation, but John being John knows more needs to be done than talking, so when it comes to fundraising he reaches for the Sky!!

On the 27th of this month, he intends to jump out of a plane to do a tandem Sky Dive to raise funds to support broken lives.

https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/10000-foot-skydive-to-raise-money-for-tartan-talkers-a-mental-health-charity

An ordinary man, a brickie in fact, prepared to do the extra ordinary and risk life and limb for others.

This is the kind of person Scotland needs, a man with real-life experiences. Like many Scots he is angry but he has turned that anger into positivity.

John wants to change things from the inside, he is no longer prepared to stand on the sidelines. That is why he joined Salvo and Liberation. Scot. But even that is not enough. John knows that to change the system you have to be in the system.

This is why he is standing as a Candidate in the Holyrood Election next year for the ISP and Liberate Scotland in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse Constituency.

Why not pop along and meet John in person?

He will have a stall at:

Hamilton Palace. [ Between Next & Asda ]

Palace Grounds. Hamilton ML3 6AD on Saturday 4th Oct.

From: 11am – 2pm.

Bring your questions, you will always get an honest answer from John.

What is a ‘minority’?

Or, as someone else said “ In politics, an organized minority is a political majority”.

Scotland is unique in so many ways, particularly in the way our Sovereignty works……or doesn’t!

Scots are creative, so we should not be surprised to see that creativity has extended into politics. Liberate Scotland is unique in their approach to the 2026 election. They have read the room and responded to the demand for unity.

I suppose, you could call their initiative a kind of political cooperative, where everyone who joins, benefits!! But the main beneficiary is Scotland.

If the last GE taught us anything, it is surely this, ‘if you vote for lies, you will get lies’! If you don’t get that, then we are already lost.

….and if Banksy has taught Westminster anything, it is you cannot erase the truth!!

The silhouette is more powerful than the original.

But then Westminster are experts at trying to erase the truth, they tried to erase Scotlands truth for hundreds of years. Eventually, though, truth always emerges, and we have Salvo to thank for that, not our history professors.

Liberate Scotland is not afraid of the truth, they say as they see and will be bought by no one. They don’t bring baggage, only courage.

The courage of ordinary men and women, prepared to stand in the breach where politicians have failed.

Yes, at the moment they are a ‘minority’ but you can change that!

Remember, an avalanche starts with a flake of snow!

Walking on eggs…

Why do I now feel that I am walking on eggs when I write anything these days?

It seems the nearer we get to this Election the more careful I have to be with my words.

By promoting Unity, I appear to have been planted into one particular camp…..or two!!

This was not how I intended the jigsaw to play out. I support many groups and if I may say so, some policies in other parties. But my main focus is getting Independence over the line.

In doing so, I am discovering new egos. Possessive, even obsessive about what I deem to be minor things.

Even when promoting a group, permission to use their logo is required! I suppose that just feeds into the power thing.

As long as we have people on power trips, Scotland will not be well served.

Liberate Scotland is not on a power trip for power!

Maybe that’s what frightens the power-hungry, the thought of thousands of ordinary folk just wanting equality and freedom for their country, over power.

Direct Democracy takes power away from the powerful and gives it to the People.

Liberate Scotland is but a temporary vehicle, created to get ordinary people into Holyrood to lay the foundations required after the UN makes a decision.

In constituencies, you vote for a Party, hopefully one working with LS. On the list you are asked to vote for LS. The person at the top of the list will represent one of the Parties. But here’s the thing, by working together these Parties will have shared out the top places on the List. This can not have been easy, but by putting country before party, self-sacrifices have been made.

Proving that Unity works.

Unity is the answer and they fear it!

PS. I will be away for 12days, having a break. So no blog!

Who controls your money?

Ain’t that true!

If you think the money you have in your bank account is yours to use as you will, think again!

From restricting how much you can give your family to how much you can now withdraw at a time, you will be treated with suspicion if you go over a certain amount.

Maybe its time to keep your cash under your mattress again, at least you would control it!….and you would be helping small businesses instead of bankers.

Control, is the name of the game these days, from facial recognition to the £ in your pocket, and dare I even mention the wearing of T shirts.

Is this really the kind of Scotland we want?

Is this what we are going to vote for next year, just more of the same, with worse to come?

Are we really that feart to change things?

I don’t go with the mantra of, ‘we are thee only’, for me the only people who can gain Independence for Scotland are all of the People of Scotland.

Neither do I go with the idea of knocking on closed doors, and it appears many within that Party are thinking the same!

It seems many are now looking at various EU routes, this can only be good for Scotland.

There is one train already on route…

Next stop back to New York!! As long as this train keeps moving, we have hope and with each stop our expectations rise.

This is not the time to sit back and see what happens, now is the time to prepare the groundwork here. It is not wishful thinking to expect a positive ruling from the UN, the evidence regarding colonisation is all there. I am reliably told that some countries have asked the team, ‘What took you so long’?

The Liberate Scotland train has been created to prepare the groundwork here , and they want all Independence parties to support the ethos.

We are beginning to see cracks in Scotland, with the far right using the Saltire to make a statement. The Independence message must not get sidelined, this makes Unity all the more important.

Don’t let what unites us, divide us!

There is a reason why Unionists are raging about Liberate Scotland and that is, because it is easier to control people when they are divided.

What both amazes and saddens me is, the ‘divide and conquer’ rule is a favourite of many Independentists as well.

We have become masters at shooting ourselves in the foot. Don’t blame Unionists for all the divisions, we are doing a pretty good job of it ourselves.

You cannot shout for a plebiscite-type election on the one hand then refuse to join others in a show of unity. To do so is to say, it’s our way or none! That is not leadership, it is ego.

I must confess, I struggle with understanding the reasons behind all the agro between all the Independent parties. Are they not putting the ‘cart before the horse’?

If the priority is Independence, the what comes after will be sorted out in Holyrood.

The Liberate Scotland model gives us the choices we need to make that happen. We complain about the 2 party model not working in Westminster, yet we have created the same thing up here, SNP or Labour.

The change we need is not about parties being in charge, but rather the Sovereign People of Scotland being in charge. In Europe, it’s called Direct Democracy!

The People not Politicians!

Why do I support Direct Democracy over Parliamentary Democracy? I will answer that with a few questions!

Have our MPs or even MSPs served us well?

Have they kept their promises?

Do they serve ‘the party’ machine before their constituents’ needs?

I could go on and on, but you get my drift!

People matter, and Westminster will soon learn that the ‘sma folk’ will matter even more.

Join them at..

We need to come out of our small corners and meet in the middle of the room!

It’s not about building empires!

2026, is not about building empires, it is about the restoration of Scotlands Sovereignty.

Neither is it about putting an empty crown on someone’s head, although I have a sneaky feeling there are some who would have egos big enough to try!!

In this modern world, I hope we will become a republic with Direct Democracy at its heart. However, there may be other options, so my mind remains open.

We live in a very fluid world just now, therefore we must become more fluid in our relationships with others. Having fixed ideas about some things can become a problem, even a stumbling block. It is important therefore for political parties to keep revisiting their policies.

Being flexible allows us to respond instead of react, and there is a difference!

Liberate Scotland came into being because three groups were flexible enough to respond to the cry for unity. They didn’t sit down and pore over each other’s policies to seek agreement or criticism. They focused on the common goal, that being Independence.

People are seeing that, and they get it, so why don’t other Independent parties?

Focusing becomes so much easier when you only have one thing to focus on.

Why is 2026 so important? Because the Salvo/Liberation initiative is still moving forward, and Scotlands people need to be ready to move the political side of things up a gear when they reach their goal…..and they will.

The jigsaw is coming together and everyone of us has a piece in our hands, it’s called a vote.

There can be no dropping the ball this time around.

When is a profit not a profit?

Now there is an official answer to my question, so I had better say it before someone gets very picky!!

Answer; Gross profit.

Then there’s my answer 😇. In today’s world, a profit is not a profit until it’s big enough to feed the greed of today’s company directors and shareholders.

…….and there lies one of the problems with Freeports.

We can not change the way things are run in Westminster, but we can clean things up in Scotland……if we want to!

But there lies the 100# question……do we want to?

Polls suggest we want change as the YES vote rises, but just how accurate are these “official” polls” and who do they target?

The fiddlers will surely fiddle!!

As a people on the whole, we have become very ‘chilled out’ when it comes to politics. We prefer silence to defiance.

Even Holyrood shows little or no resistance to any of the take-overs from Westminster.

Why are we so laid back when we see our country being ravaged? Do we think what’s happening doesn’t affect us?

Because it does!

When 100% of what Scotland produces goes south and we only get 8% back then that affects everything and everyone. Occasionally they throw us a little extra, as a gift, but they choose where that gift will be spent. Murry makes sure he controls that little pot of money!

Devolution is not freedom to control it is all about the continuance of Westminster control.

But it gets worse……when the powers that be in Westminster decide on some grand plan for England, like a new Nuclear energy plant or another runway for Heathrow, guess who has to contribute…….we do!

And they don’t ask!

Wake up, don’t just say enough is enough, make it happen.

There are a few radicals who are rebelling, rebelling against thee most corrupt government in our history, aided and abetted by Holyrood.

These are to be found in Liberate Scotland.

There are of course other radical voices in Scotland but LS is unique because it’s built on Unity. Three independent groups that came together, worked together and for the 2026 Election have become one.

Their mantra, ‘Independence Nothing less’

Those three words need to be buried in our psyche and spoken, even shouted at every opportunity.

Will you be a rebel for Scotland?

Running in the fast lane…..

We often hear the phrase, ‘its not a sprint, it’s a marathon’. It is one I often think about when it comes to political parties, particularly the smaller ones.

Problems occur, especially financial ones when small parties try to run in the fast lane with the so-called big boys. They try to simulate them in every way, forgetting why they left in the first place!

Yes, money helps but it is not the be-all and end-all of everything. It’s people who make a party tick!

It’s the ‘sma folk’ who will rush out of the woods to get your back.

Liberate Scotland is building an army of ‘sma folk’. They are not interested in the ‘fast lane’ or trying to jump on the ‘gravy train’. They want to run a good, honest race to the end, even if it is a hurdle race, and become influencers.

Don’t decry the volunteer, they are fueled by passion not position.

Their souls are not for sale, and they will fight tooth and nail for Scotlands soul.

Passions are running high and we need to harness that energy. If we are going to fly the Saltire, let’s do it for the right reasons.

Make the Edinburgh AUOB count!

I don’t care who runs these things, lets just get together and make it happen.

It’s time to stop being so possessive of our little corners and focus on the prize.

I am Scotland before I am ISP.

What are you?
