NATO, from Deterrent to Provocateur…

https://www.yesunited.scot/p/discussion-paper-1-an-independent

A very interesting discussion paper is circulating on SM just now, which in many ways is good.

Because we do need to discuss a future Independent Scotland. And being a discussion it asks for opinions!would I not😂

I am sure a counter-document will follow, which is also good because we need as many as possible to enter this conversation.

Like all documents of this ilk, there will be many opinions both for and against some topics.

Me, being me, couldn’t get past the first one… NATO!

The suggestion being that we should join as an independent country.

NATO over the past few years, has changed, rather than being a deterrent to conflict it has become a provocateur with eyes on regime change in North Africa and the Middle East. Iran is a prime example.

Do not for one minute think what is happening to Iran as the beginning. Iran is the endgame.

Do we really want to be part of that kind of culture?

and we should not forget who holds the baton in this orchestra…Israel!

Israel’s endgame has nothing to do with ‘prophecy’ or God, but everything to do with world domination.

This document also appears to suggest we remain part of the British Commonwealth!

I thought the whole point of Independence was to break from the myth that Charles is King of Scotland?

So, another No from me!

As I said at the beginning, this paper is interesting and worthy of reading, because if nothing else it turns out thoughts to what kind of relationships we want with our neighbours and the world at large. We cannot become isolated, but neither can we be held by others. Getting the balance right will be important. One can compromise without loosing ones integrity.

Talking about the future also puts us in a positive frame of mind, which in itself must be good.

So let’s talk!

Frying pan to fire?

There is always the danger in any situation that we go from the frying pan into the fire. And there are many who think what is happening within the Labour Party party, is such a situation.

In the game of politics, you can go from being a faithful colleague to holding the knife in a matter of hours! Friends become enemies at the blink of an eye.

Who on earth would want to play that game?

So, he’s going!

They must be running out of lecterns!!!!

No doubt the badge is stuck on with Blu-Tac!!

I saw some guy on X trying to list everything Starmer got wrong…do we really need reminding?

I had hoped Burnham would not become a ‘specialist’!

…..especially if that speciality is Israel! However it looks like my hopes are already dashed.

…and NO, I am not anti-semetic!

As I said, ‘out of the frying pan, into the fire’!

But, we are not there yet, there may be other contenders, unless deals have already been made…which would not surprise me!

There is nothing upfront in politics these days; secrecy is the name of the game, along with brown envelopes.

I wonder if Reeves will survive, or God forbid, Lammy…did I say Lammy? I hear he is now entering the race…beam me up, Scotty!

On a personal note, all this does come with benefits…it keeps my grey matter ticking😂

Our politicians certainly keep us entertained, but not in a good way. We seem to spend most of our time second-guessing them because we don’t believe a word they say!

Surely we can do better than this in Scotland?

With Direct Democracy none of this would happen, we would be in control. No politicians with deep pockets!

We took the wrong path in May!

Let’s find our way back onto the right path!

Nothing is free….

Nothing is free and everything comes at a price.

I am not talking here about small donations to small parties, but rather big bucks to individuals. The people willing to sell their souls for hard cash.

Their greed blinds them from the consequences as their puppet masters control the agenda. That agenda is presented as a worthy cause…but tell me, how can supporting the actions of the Israel government be seen as a worthy cause? We are way past the ‘self-defence’ argument.

In Scotland, are we seeing the same level of handouts regarding these AI centres? I find it odd that the FM is trying to distance himself from these planning issues.

I wonder what it feels like to be politically controlled by someone else. I suppose the nearest one comes to that is those who have been in an abusive marriage.

I don’t know about you but I am fed up of being controlled by Westminster as they rape our country of its assets. We are in an abusive relationship.

Our governing body is trying to convince us that they are keeping their word on Independence. This new plan of putting a Bill to devolve powers before Westminster Parliament, is doomed to fail and they know it. All it will do is just waste precious time…..time we haven’t got. They are using the wrong tools to get the right result.

The UN plan is on track, the train may be moving slowly, but it is moving!

Remember….

“Ye shall know the truth &.……..

Truth is becoming a rare commodity these days, and it’s the one thing this government seems to want to hide.

Our public servants, whether in Westminster or Holyrood, no longer work for us, with many in the cabinet in someone’s back pocket.

But here’s the thing about truth: it has a habit of re-surfacing at the most inconvenient times.

And the truth, thankfully for us is, they didn’t do the job thoroughly at the time, because if you want to attempt to hide the truth, you must first destroy it!

Now it will be used against them, and the world will see the lie. Former colonies are seeing that Scotland is no different from them, only the lie was bigger!!

Loyalty is another thing that can vanish like the mist, and today, Starmer is learning that lesson. The ‘stick with it, through thick and thin’ no longer exists; instead, it is ‘every man/woman for themselves’! Burnham needs to watch himself and not surround himself with what I call fence hoppers!!

A person’s history says a lot about them, and this expected new PM certainly has one. For a start, unlike Starmer, Burnham likes to be liked! So we might get a record number of U-turns, especially at this interesting juncture in British politics. Because it appears Westminster is starting to turn against the actions of Israel…..I said ‘appears’!!

What will all this mean for Scotland? Very little, I would imagine. For Swinney, it’s just a change of ownership!

This coming week is the week that the whole Murrel affair flares up again, so he might not have time to ‘consider’ the court ruling given against his government last week.

The one truth that is coming out regarding that is the cost to us, the taxpayers. A good use of the public purse…NOT!

On that subject, I see that when the FM or members of his Cabinet said there was no money left last year for some projects, that wasn’t quite the truth… surprise… surprise! Because there was an actual underspend last year of £358 million. A drop in the ocean, I know, but it could have been put to good use somewhere.

The lesson…dont believe everything politicians tell you!

A seat at the table…

The only way the people of Scotland are going to get a seat at the world table is through Direct Democracy!

Otherwise, we look on and get the crumbs. For many, that seems to be the easier way through life, yet it is they who complain the most.

Words without action mean nothing. It may surprise you to know that many of our mental health issues arise from inaction. Many feel helpless, not knowing what they can do so focus on what they think they can’t do and that frustration leads to problems such as depression etc.

We don’t need to sit at the top table to change things. There are many tables in many organisations where voices can be heard, and some are local. Also local papers are not so restrictive.

Nationally, things are getting more awkward, but remember, where’s there’s a will, there’s a way!

Also remember that Westminster, as always, shoots itself in the foot.

[ Don’t know who did this, but thank you!]

And a certain person is making sure these are used!😂

Individually, the size of the table matters not, just being there contributes, and that’s what matters. It could be a local organisation or a political party… everything is important.

You are important!

Today might…I say ‘might’ be the day politics starts to change in Westminster. Andy Burnham is right, Labour won’t get a second chance. But on the constitutional front, nothing will change, so our fight must continue.

Our individual response to local issues like AI centres is more important than ever because it looks like our FM is just going to lie down and roll over, as many pet poodles do!

Whoever thought the day would come when the SNP would so flagrantly help to destroy this beautiful country?

By refusing a moratorium on AI centres that is exactly what he is doing.

Now we know why the area covering Freeports was so big! It was the land they were after.

Your voice is more important than ever now!

Who gets to speak?

Those on SM will no doubt have noticed how ‘free speech’ is being suppressed even on the major platforms.

But ‘silencing’ is not new, we’ve seen it in our media for years. Every time you switch on the TV and watch the news, you are only watching what the powerful want you to see or hear!

The reason given is incitement.

To some degree that is correct because there are always people who want any excuse to react and more who want to join in because they are angry.

Governments always tend to lay the blame on the people, they never ask themselves why it’s happening.

The result is suppression.

Stop the speaking and the protests and all will be well…..they hope!

They forget, human beings do not react like caged animals; we have brains, and when our brains tell us something is very wrong, we are going to react. Add anger to the equation and a problem is created for the government and the police. Their answer, more suppression! This is the spiral we are now on.

How do we get out of this spiral? How is the ordinary person able to get their voice heard again?

Social platforms do still give us some freedom, even though they are policed.

Marches are becoming managed, but by whom?

Could enough voices reverse that?

If we want to speak, we are going to have to think outside the box again.

I know I go on about the Claim of Right, but it really does give us some rights. I have been amused lately at how many English people are also starting to quote their rights from the Magna Carta!

These ancient documents still hold power! It will be interesting to see what happens when people start to raise these rights in a Court of Law.

The chains that bind us!

When you think of the word Freedom, what do you see with your mind’s eye?

Freedom generally refers to the power or right to act, speak, or think without hindrance or restraint. [Wikipedia]

We will all have a different list because our circumstances are different.

Sadly these are being eroded, big time!

The excuse behind some of the new restrictions is ‘child safety’! Yet they resist looking into grooming.

Digital Identity is coming whether we like it or not.

On Monday I spent nearly all day in the Acute Assessment Unit at the QEUH, it was an interesting experience to say the least. Every member of staff had a NHS smartphone and everything was being run on those phones, like the sharing of test results, scans, etc, very efficiently. But earlier in the day the system was down and the doctor said she hadn’t been able to access my records!!

Systems crash, and this government wants to run our lives via digital platforms.

Then there was the lady sitting next to me, she did have a smart phone, but an old one and needed help to use it. Not sure what she wanted but had to ask a stranger to help her. Is this wise, is this safe?

The government is creating many problems for many people under the guise of protection, when it’s really about control.

Free speech is going, freedom to protest is going, freedom of the press has gone, what’s next on their list?

And on the subject of Freedom of Speach, what is happening within AUOB? These marches were not only about feet on the ground, they were renowned for the speakers from various groups and parties……Now none allowed!?!

The reason given is, ‘people don’t contribute financially.’ Well, there’s a simple remedy for that, ask them to!! Also do the musicians contribute? No reply was given!! Something tells me there is more to this than meets the eye. Are they/we being silenced?

Was this another ‘slow creep’ we didn’t notice and should have, once SNP leaders stopped supporting it?

How soon, will your ‘freedom’ list disappear?

Whilst you have a power-down system instead of a power-up, like Direct Democracy , these things will only get worse.

We must speak out whilst we can!

We know what the problem is……..but?

In case you hadn’t noticed, Scotland has changed over the last few years, and not in a good way. The changes have been subtle, so subtle that we haven’t noticed some of them….we were not meant to!

They are the kind of changes that we only notice when something happens.

An example is the ‘soft sentencing’ of young offenders, and no, I am not for locking everyone up and throwing away the key! It’s about inconsistencies.

You cannot say on the one hand that young brains don’t fully develop until they are 25yrs old then on the other hand say 10-year-olds are old enough to understand how they feel about their bodies, regarding gender.

Then there’s our great Scottish Judiciary system, has this always been the case, or is it a special case?

[Nicola Sturgeon will be allowed to keep goods bought with stolen SNP funds – including expensive household appliances and apparent gifts – because prosecutors quietly deleted them from Peter Murrell’s indictment in a plea deal.

Scots law specialists say hundreds of items worth almost £60,000 that were stripped out before he admitted embezzling £400,310.65 are now effectively beyond confiscation unless the SNP sues her itself.

Think about that: a party chief embezzles nearly half a million pounds, splurges it on everything from a £124,000 motorhome to a £3,200 coffee machine, a robotic lawnmower, designer salt and pepper grinders and “gifts” for his wife – and the system decides that as long as the indictment is massaged down, the goodies can stay where they are.

In any normal organisation, that would be called proceeds of crime; in SNP‑land, it’s just another “private matter” between the former leader and her estranged husband.]

I wonder how the press will react next time Nicola steps out wearing her very expensive pendant!

But somehow, all these things pale into insignificance compared to the 17 data centers that are being forced upon us. For a country seeking a low-carbon footprint, we have a funny, or not so funny way of showing it.

They will change our countryside forever in more ways than one, affecting both water supplies and electricity, guzzling both.

We missed the boat during the election but there are still moves we can make to slow down the destruction of our beautiful country. The smaller Parties will continue to do their bit and grow, but Salvo/Liberation are the only train left on the track and they have a plan!!

But they need our help execute it. By helping them we help each other in making the Dream come true.

Think of it as a two-pronged attack. Liberation leading the one at the UN and Salvo leading the one at home. We need to start ruffling some feathers. If we can’t stop things, we can for sure slow things down. We can be the ‘itch’ that just won’t go away!!

Sitting back and doing nothing is not an option, we are the fuel that will keep this train moving.

The circle of protection….

When it comes to protecting your own, politicians can’t be beaten……or can they? The circle protecting the SNP just now must feel very uncomfortable, if not, too hot!

But I have a feeling the next court appearance will take them from the ‘frying pan to the fire’!

At some point that circle of fire will burn itself out, and only the ashes will remain.

The ashes of what once was a great Party, now smeared in corruption and complacency.

…..and the ‘corrupters’ cannot clean their own house! It is time for the splinter groups within, to take over! Those with real vision for their party and for Scotland. Remember 5 branches did put forward a different agenda!

We see it every time a new thought or strategy is put forward, that circle of protection comes out to protect the leader’s agenda. Everything must come from the top or it is toppled!

But they could still save themselves by disbanding Parliament and calling a Plebiscite Election. He who dares, wins!!

There is however one party that is led by its members and that is the ISP. Never forget that it was the majority of members who voted to stand down in 2021 to let Alba stand unfettered, not the Exec! I can testify to that because I am part of that Executive who had to bow to the members wishes.

The ISP is truly member-led!

So, if you are fed up with the power coming from above, become the power yourself!

Let’s get the power back into the hands of the Sovereign People & let’s use it.

We still hold the ball…..

Why are we still playing Westminsters game, when we still hold the ball?

It’s only happening because we have allowed it to, and continue to do so. We prefer our comfort zones to rattling the Westminster cages…..or even the Holyrood ones!

How many SNP MPs have gone down to London and said ‘The People of Scotland have spoken’, only to be laughed at? And how many times have we cooried doon and let them? It’s all a game with them even though we hold the ball.

They have their helpers, who are woven into the YES movement and Salvo, sadly. Vigilance is not exactly our second name.

The SNP have proved that!

But then, are we not all a wee bit guilty of wanting to trust the people who come into our lives? There is nothing wrong with that as long as we also acknowledge the ‘red flags’ when they start flying!!

Unfortunately for football fans, there is one country that is on the lookout for red flags, and that is the USA. And where are they looking……SM posts! Fans are having their visas cancelled at the last minute due to these searches. Anything anti-Trump is a NO NO… just as well I am not trying to get one!!

Getting back to our ball, it’s time to start kicking it around, there are a few goals to be scored out there in most communities.

Look up Salvo and read about the Common Good fund, you might just be surprised by what you can achieve.

We cannot and should not expect other countries to do all the fighting for us when it comes to getting our country back. We need to be seen by others that we are trying to do something for ourselves, even if we keep getting knocked back! Believe it or not, getting ‘knocked back’ continually could in the long run work to our advantage as the world looks on!!

It’s time to start scoring some local goals!
