The road to nowhere…

Sat Navs are wonderful things… usually.

It would be very helpful if our FM would tell us his route to Independence. By that I mean, where will he go after Westminster says NO again!

It would appear that his party is not the only one travelling along a Rocky Road at the moment.

When the foundations of any political party start to veer off course, the storms always come from within. Cracks appear, some the size of caverns, as disgruntled members vent their anger at someone or something, all played out on social media!

The optics within the Independence movement are not very good just now, so much so, that I often wonder just who the good actors are.

But eventually the bad actors always show their real colours.

…..and there is a lot of biting going on just now!

We have two choices ahead of us, do we liberate or capitulate?

Liberate Scotland has made their choice……it’s in the name, and it’s the only place fuelled by Unity.

You don’t have to be the main Party in government, but you do have to be the right Party to make a difference.

Capitulation is easy, you throw your hands up in the air and walk away, Liberate Scotland is made of sterner stuff. Theyre rolling up their sleeves and working their socks off for you and Scotland, and all at their own expense.

No grifters here……just grafters!

Where is the Kirk?

I will probably ruffle some feathers today, but a question needs to be asked.

Why are churches on the whole so silent about genocide? I accept given the geographical location, it must be a theological nightmare for many, but theology aside, where is humanity?

When it comes to big, controversial matters, the church, or the Kirk, up here in Scotland, has a history of sitting on the fence.

We have a strange system in this country where we have unelected Bishops sitting in the House of Lords, supposedly to give moral guidance 😂😂

Not sure that’s working!

But they also have a vote on matters.

Given the politics coming out of Westminster, I would say they are complicit in the silence and the silencing.

So, I guess it really is up to us, the people, to take Scottish matters at least, into our own hands. And when I say people, I mean all people, irrespective of colour or creed.

The people who have created Liberate Scotland, just want to do what is right.

Right for you and what is right for Scotland, and they will take that cue from you! They are listening and want to hear more from you.

There is a way, where you can always have your say and always be heard, and that is through changing the system from Parliamentary Democracy to Direct Democracy.

A system that comes with free add-ons! One being, if an MSP doesn’t do as he’s telt, he can be recalled and sacked. I quite fancy that, don’t you?

Liberate Scotland will lead from the front.

Promises v Reality!

It is a fact, that what you vote for is not what you get.

Most Manifestos, are not commitments, they are Spam, words shaped like a spider’s web to draw you in. You can tell the difference between the genuine and the Spam by the wording. One will give promises, the other a vision.

In the past, we have eaten Spam, but 2026 will be much more important than a few popular promises. It is shaping up to be a clear choice between London and Scotland, a mini referendum, whether the SNP likes it or not.

But even being that, nothing will happen unless we put the right people in place to further the Decolonisation route and change the system.

Last night I binged the whole series of Total Control on STV. I recommend it to anyone interested in how Democracy works……or doesn’t!!!

It ended with a truth, ‘There is no room in a Democracy like ours for honest Politicians’! Just think about that for a minute, because the the kind of Democracy portrayed in this series, is the same one that we operate……Parliamentary Democracy!

It was fiction, yes, but too near the bone for me.

If we want to make big changes, we must think big!

We need people in Holyrood with the courage to make bold choices for change. Anything less is continuity.

The vision that has brought Liberate Scotland into being was made by people prepared to make bold choices.

They are, radical, they are bold and prepared to rebel when needed. They are not nodding donkeys.

You can have all the campaign agreements you like, but if you are not prepared for change, they mean nothing.

Devolution is Unionism rapped up in a fancy box with a red, white and blue bow on top!

Vote for Scotland, vote for the Saltire!

In days of uncertainty, we need to look for the light.

Liberate Scotland offers that light.

Who is sowing the seeds……?

There is a worldwide agenda being played out and it is now touching Scotland.

When protests against Genocide are deemed as anti-semitism, and people delivering baby food and medical supplies are abducted on the high seas, something has gone very wrong with the human race.

But these seeds were sown many years ago, and they were sown by politicians! Slowly over the years they have been germinating in both the USA and Israel, and yes the UK has also played its part.

It is by no accident that Blair has been chosen to be part of the solution, when in fact he is part of the problem and always has been.

Politicians love chaos. Chaos gives them the opportunity to further their agendas, the ones that weren’t in the manifestos. World agendas that will impact every one of us.

….and we know who is in the building business right now!

How does this affect Scotland? There is no way Westminster or Trump are going to allow Scotland its Independence. They need our oil and our strategic position…..just in case!!!

That is why the Decolonisation route is so important.

It is power hungry politicians who have brought us to where we are now, but I believe it will be people, world wide who will take us out of it.

The same can be said of Scotland, it is Scottish politicians who are keeping us tied to Westminster. But it will be the people, ordinary people who will lead us out.

People like this….

We are watching the take over in Gaza, but we should not close our eyes to the take over happening in Scotland, through Freeport’s etc.

They are all part of the global takeover. Takeovers happen in various ways, some through the theatre of war others through privatisation.

Perhaps I should end this blog with a question about Holyrood.

Has our Parliament been taken over? Indeed, has it ever been ‘ours’?

This was the day, the people of Scotland were locked out of their own Parliament.

In my eyes, a Parliament that locks out its own people, does not deserve to stand.

Big changes need to come, we can make these changes in 2026, but we need a strategy, and Liberate Scotland is that strategy.

When people unite, politicians start to fear.

That big black hole….?

So, Rachels big black hole has increased by 127.27% in just 12 months. [ from £22b to £50b ]

She blames geopolitics but offers no proof!

So I guess, it’s all down to her policies, as if we did not know it.

There is a rule in politics, when something goes wrong, blame someone else!

Should we perhaps buy her a new calculator?

So, who will fill this hole?

The simple answer is, we will have to, that means you and me. She says ‘tough decisions’ are ahead of us…..tough for whom?

It really is time to pull the plug on Westminster, surely we can agree on that?

That big black hole is the reason Scotland will not be granted a 2nd Referendum. It’s time we filled our own boots and leave Westminster to sink in its own mire.

In Scotland, we own the land and we are not for sale!

Liberate Scotland is made up of people who will never sell their souls for English gold.

We really need to get our heads around what is happening before our eyes. But you won’t it see on mainstream TV, everything on there is presented with rose tinted glasses….and you can feel the glow wafting up from Westminster! Scratch the surface and you see the reality. In short, the numbers just don’t add up. From jobs promised to rising costs from LAs…..not to mention all the brown envelopes!!!

There was a time when MPs and MSPs had to declare interests and donations. That only happens now when ‘mistakes’?!? are found out. Not sure I could forget getting a £600.000 donation!

In my day it was called fiddling the books!

Liberate Scotland will leave no stone unturned when demanding answers in Holyrood. But to do that, we must first get them there.

We have 7 months to set out our stall and make sure we get it right this time.

However, I feel, looking at what’s happening in our country tonight, the pot may have boiled over.

Big political decisions could be made over the coming days…I pray they are the right ones and that Scotland has time to get out.

Britain is now a country filled with hate.

You feel it on the streets, you feel it on public transport….safe Britain is no longer safe…..and we are beginning to feel it up here.

When hatred takes over, reason disappears. The fight is on and they don’t care who they are fighting. I am not even sure they know why they are fighting because the mob has taken over from the peaceful protesters and they know how to turn anger into hatred.

Emotions always run high in any march, so it doesn’t take long to light the fuse.

Can we stop it taking over in Scotland or do we just try and sit it out?

Can we afford to do that?

Those of us of a certain age can no longer face the mob but we can talk on a one-to-one basis. Did I say ‘talk’, maybe the word should be listen!

If we listen we begin to understand, talking can be construed as telling!!

Politics should be about listening not dictating. Policies should be built around people as well as the country.

Reactionary politics is never the answer, we need change, but change that has been well thought out. Those working behind the scenes are doing just that. But we need more Scottish parties coming up with the answers, not Unionist ones.

The thinking behind Liberate Scotland has been well thought out. A bridge that will unite.

Scotlands future is not just an event, it is a journey, although there are times it feels more like a pilgrimage!

But whatever it is, it must not become one filled with hate. We are better than that.

There is a solution to every problem, we just have to find it, and we do that by listening!

Don’t leave it to the politicians, they will want more quangos and more inquiries, all at our cost. We can do this on our own at conferences, political or otherwise, or even over a pint in the pub!

Just listen to one another!

In the company of rebels!

I guess we can all agree on one thing, and that is Democracy is dead.

Our governments have become more and more Authoritarian over the past few decades. Even having a Parliamentary democracy is a dying art.

How did this happen? Well for a start we, yes we, became disengaged and when politicians realised that, the takeover started.

But, have they gone too far now?

There comes a point when even the disengaged wake up for whatever reason.

First comes the anger, and we are seeing that spilling into the streets. Then, hopefully comes the conscious thinking. Stepping back and asking ourselves, ‘How did we get here?

We in Scotland are fortunate, in that we have an election next year, so now is the time for us to engage in some ‘conscious’ thinking, and we have been given plenty to consider. We just need to prioritise the possibilities.

We don’t have to be stuck on the hamster wheel that is Westminster, we have choices.

Our conscious thinking should be about the journey we are on. There are no quick fixes, only the one at the end. It’s called Independence!

A bridge has been built to help us on this journey….

A bridge that brings different thoughts together, working as one.

A bridge that says Country before Party.

One degree off boiling point….

As countries begin to stack up against Israel and people turn against their own countries for various reasons. We are reaching a boiling point that is bringing people out into the streets in real anger. Italy has even resorted to a general strike. Add to that the increasingly perilous situation unfolding in the Mediterranean. Italy now have 2 warships escorting the aid flotilla and Spain has 1. Will other countries join?

At some point, this particular pot will boil over and sides will have to be taken. Then there’s Russia, there’s always Russia somewhere in the background growling away making threats.

We, in Scotland will have no say in any of this, even though we could become their number one target.

The hawks are circling. Geopolitics and Peace sits on a shoogly peg. I will never forget that first night when we bombed Iraq, I cried for humanity.

A war built on lies as all wars are. Wars only happen when men and women fail. There are a lot of egos parading the world stage, and our PM is one of them. Words are only words, until they are backed up by action.

If it all kicks off in the Med, which side of the fence will he be on? This is important, because where he goes, he takes us with him. That is the kind of Democracy we have.

The 2026 election in Scotland is becoming increasingly important by the day. We were dragged out of the EU., We cannot be dragged into another war.

The numbers game in this election will be more important than ever.We must show the world what we want because we may have to take it, sooner rather than later. Don’t decry an option just because your Party doesn’t own it, because in the end, the hardest option may be the only option left.

For me personally, [I speak only for myself.] the hardest option would be UDI, that’s why the numbers for Yes will be so important next May.

We don’t know what decisions we may have to make in the future, so just keep all options on the table.

Make sure we don’t sleep into oblivion! Get on the train that’s going somewhere, not sitting in the sidings!

The past is always present…..

……Unless you let it live in your head!

Who, or what is living in your head just now?

We can let Starmer and his digital dog tag take over our every thought, or even the upcoming conferences, hoping for change.

Conferences, just like manifestos tend to be used for making headlines, show cases!

In reality, they mean nothing. Take the SNP one for instance, the rebel road to Independence is now going to be discussed, but here’s the thing, even if the conference passes it….the shelf awaits! Because due to a wee rule passed a few years back, the Exec do not have to action it!

It’s called Dictatorship!

The past is gone, all we have is the present, so we can’t afford any political tourists.

It’s all hands on deck or nothing…..the ship doesn’t sail.

There are no political tourists here…

Every single candidate is deadly serious about the importance of the 2026 Holyrood election…. and they are in it for the long haul.

Scotland is standing at a crossroads, one where anything is possible, if, you follow that Dream!

If”….. a small word that carries so much weight!

You represent that ‘if’, your choices will decide Scotlands future.

You can’t put the responsibility onto the shoulders of others, it’s about collective responsibility. And it comes down to just one question, do we want Independence?

The past cannot give us it, we can only learn from the past. Only the present can determine our future.

So….

What happened to Democracy in this country?

It appears even Parliamentary Democracy has gone!

Authoritarianism has taken over.

Don’t believe for one minute that this is just about illegal workers, once you’re in the system they have you, lock stock and barrel!!

The simple fact is, the people of this country no longer trust their government. Therefore we are right to treat this with suspicion. Tony Blair has already told Starmer his plans regarding the ID card don’t go far enough…..so what has he got in mind?

I also understand that bringing it into NI breaks the Good Friday Agreement..again!

Can’t see Sinn Féin being happy about carrying a British ID card!! I think they will refuse to be British, don’t you? And so should we here in Scotland.

I have a sneaky feeling this lot will not cower down and oblige very easily.

But, back to Democracy or the lack of it.

Next year we will be asked to put our X on a piece of paper, actually two pieces of paper in Scotland, with the ‘List’ vote.

We need to think hard about this, because where we put our X will determine which road we take for the next 5 years. The Polls indicate a 52% vote for Yes. However, if any of those 52% vote for an English-based Party, then it will count as a No. Even voting for the SNP on the List will contribute to that vote.

If you are serious about Independence, do the maths! Also think about the last 10 years and what could have been.

Think also about the kind of Democracy we have. Is it right to give politicians so much power, given what we have seen and endured over the last decade?

Is it not time that they became more accountable? But equally important, is it not time we became more active and accountable before an Election?

Like turning up at a Hustings and asking the awkward questions.

If we sit back and do nothing…..we will get nothing!

Liberate Scotland candidates will answer your questions and will do so truthfully. That’s the whole point of them being there, to change the perception of Politics.

Elections are always a gamble, there are no guarantees, but one thing is clear, every Vote must be for Independence, therefore for a Scottish Independence Party.
