On a more serious note it is important to understand that over the centuries whe have been conditioned not only to believe Westminsters narrative but also how to believe the narrative.

Our whole thought process has become englified! We think British, even our Lawyers were taught Scottish Law through an English prism.

We need to change the way we think. If we start from a position of ‘serf’ and think like a ‘serf’ chained to a foreign power, then we start from a place of defeat.

The People are Sovereign even Westminster acknowledges that, so let’s act like it.

Teaching ourselves to think differently is not easy but necessary if we are ever to achieve our goal.

Facts help us, but facts also demand action. Our greatest enemy is apathy, the attitude of ‘can’t be bothered, let’s leave it to others’. But if we all do that then we have failed before we have even begun. Defeated by our own apathy!…what kind of a legacy is that to leave our children and grandchildren?

We are very fortunate in having a group of people who are prepared to fight the establishment on our behalf and very soon they will be off to the UN.

Then there is the Freeport group dedicated to educating the public about the dangers that Freeports and SEZs present to our liberty and our land.

Is Scotland in trouble? It most certainly is, because the power creep is so subtle we barely notice it, they are like thieves in the night and then when the takeover is complete we find ourselves in a different kind of prison…a corporate one run by corporate governance. Where the decisions made for us are not made in Parliament but in boardrooms. And the boardroom agendas will not be the same as ours for sure.

These priorities will be the shareholders first and the pundits (us) at the bottom picking up the crumbs….

With this in mind let’s start to think about all this from a Scottish perspective… it’s ours for a start!

Remember the Battle of Bannockburn was won because Bruce knew the lie of the land. Figuratively speaking we are regaining that knowledge, we know more about our history now than any historian taught us at school. That knowledge will win this constitutional battle.

Start thinking Scotland!

There are days when you feel you don’t matter, then there are days when you realise you definitely do!

I have a reputation apparently, of someone who gets straight to the point in as few words as possible😂

Politicians hide behind a lot of words, usually in the small print! Businessmen/women are even cleverer because usually, the jargon they use requires an interpreter, a Legal expert.

They rely on people like you and me being so uninterested we just don’t go there and they are right…we don’t!

Treaties and Acts are written in such a way that we the general public won’t have a clue what they are on about. But that is changing because through the work of Salvo the unexplainable has been explained!

That being the case we hold the knowledge and the Power in our own hands.

Armed with the facts we need to start believing enough in ourselves to pass those facts on.

Believe that ‘you are enough’!

Trust yourself to pass on the information, even on a one-to-one. If Sovereignty is in your heart the words will come and it might be the case that you are the only one in your area who has the story to tell. So you do matter.

There is so much happening in Scotland just now that we cannot afford the luxury of downtime.

Freeports and SEZs are going to play such an important part in Scotland’s immediate future that it is imperative we are up to date with every project Private companies are involved in, like the Flamingo campaign in the Loch Lomond Area.

We must not allow these people to destroy what makes Scotland such a beautiful place.

Please if you don’t understand anything else, understand this, Privatisation = profits but not for us!

Privatisation means very low-paid jobs with no security and workers’ rights ignored. There is no career path!

Privatisation will leave our land decimated once they have packed up and left.

Different groups who have new ideas need to start talking to each other. Constructive talks can only be good for going forward.

We are at war, albeit a Political and constitutional one where Westminster or Holyrood for that matter are not going to roll over quietly. It is in their interests to make sure the war goes on as long as they need it to, so there will be a number of different battles ahead.

Remember in any war it is always the people who are referred to as collateral damage!

The introduction of Freeports and SEZs is not a coincidence, they are a weapon in Westminster’s armoury. The logic is that if they can’t rule us they will own us.

It is called Libertarianism and it’s happening throughout the world. Some countries are just waking up to what Privatisation really means and the Political agenda behind it. And when it comes to getting out there is very little if any wriggle room with the introduction of ISDSs [Investor State Dispute Settlements] the Legal muscle to keep us in our place.

Why on earth have the SNP been so eager to comply with all this political skullduggery?

Please do not tell me they couldn’t see beyond the glossy headlines and that they only eyed the word ‘Investment’.

Every contract should have a get-out or penalty clause if something goes wrong…..these ones don’t appear to have any otherwise other countries would have used them and oh my word how things can go downhill rapidly, just look at Teeside. Their history of maintaining structures is none too healthy either.

When it comes to business these men are very, very clever more so than the Politicians and its a lesson for us in the future.

Goodbye Free to roam, the barriers are going up. Our land is no longer our land, it is theirs to do with as they please!

Secrecy and denial of what is coming seem to be the priorities of our Politicians, even with the few who are in the know in our LAs.

Why do Politicians of any colour find it so hard to say ‘Sorry we got it wrong’? We can accept apologies, even forgive, but not lies and liars especially pathological liars!

Lying is not a virtue and those who do it in Politics do so to increase their public stutus.

Somewhere in their head they believe that if the embellish or exaggerate some of their facts,[notice I said ‘their facts’!!] it makes them look very intelligent when in fact the opposite happens!

There is only one way to expose lies and liars and that is to expose the truth, the facts.

And the facts can be astounding, especially historical facts.

I was watching an Australian crime series last night and a phrase jumped out at me, ‘if you don’t know your gang you don’t know who you are’. Meaning if you don’t know your history you don’t belong anywhere.

This is precisely what those in Westminster over the past 300 years hoped for….no more Scottish just British!

Well, it stops here!

You may be asking what is the link between ‘no-go areas’ and knowing who you are, the link is simple. Until we know and recognize who we are,[our identity] individually and collectively as a People we cannot begin to take back what is ours.

There is a team who can and are helping us regain our identity, Salvo.

I was not born on this side of the pond but I do have Scottish ancestors but more importantly, my heart belongs to Scotland and it’s your heart that matters!!

That is why I joined Salvo and its partner Liberation.scot, the People’s Peaceful Army, not just intent on doing something but doing it!

The committee charged with the responsibility of going forward to the Hague has been elected and plans are in hand…good hands!

None of this negates the importance of a National Convention….good hands around a bigger table!

Talking has to replace petty squabbling, who said what is history. Having the ability to move on says a lot about a person’s character and we need those people to take us forward.

If learning to recognise who we are is the first priority then the second is learning how to recognise ‘good people’!!

It is time for Scottish Independence parties to recalibrate some of their priorities because the old messages of whether it’s going to be Labour or SNP are outdated and inconsequential.

For a start whether one likes it or not both of these are Unionist parties carrying out Westminster policies. Both stand on the premise that the UK is indeed a United Kingdom and as such all of Scotland’s assets should be administered by Westminster.

Whilst Scottish Parties focused on the main players the real game in town was being played out, almost out of sight, the biggest land grab in history!

We must recalibrate and focus on what is happening in the here and now under the guise of Levelling up.

The first step should surely be to start talking, and gather together the Parties and groups who believe in the Sovereignty of Scotland, if this is what is referred to as a ‘ Scottish Convention’ then that has got to be a good thing. But I have to be honest here, if any Convention is not built on the foundation of Direct Democracy how do you control the egos, the Power hunters? Only the Sovereignty of the People over Parliament will solve that problem!

Scotland is being ravished whilst we spend most of our time looking inwards wondering what our political neighbours are doing.

Personal ambitions should not be a priority at this juncture, getting around the table and talking about Scotland now and its future should be.

Scotland’s future in Scotland’s hands looks bright, very bright indeed.

But let’s make sure it’s in the right hands, the hands of the People. A new system of government, which yes will involve political parties but the contrast between those then and now will be like chalk and cheese. They will be the administrators, we the People will hold the Power!

A dream yes, but one that is being worked out right now by Salvo and Liberation.scot and the more voices that join in the better.

A Convention yes, but one where we are all equals not hijacked by the size of the Party or so-called political giants from any Party.

Let’s just get on with it!!!

Grangemouth is one of the most talked about topics on Social Media but our politicians appear to have lost their tongues now that the Election is over.

The owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe however is quite happy the way things are going, he is a businessman and one who knows when he’s onto a good thing.

So when Westminster offer him £600 million to close his operation in Grangemouth and open a new plant in Belgium he isn’t going to say ‘no thank you’. Even though Grangemouth is still viable.

So whats in store for Grangemouth apart from the political motive which is to strip Scotland of its one and only refinery?

Never trust politicians who have a history of going back on their word. The Scottish Government say they are against Fracking yet have renewed the licences in the past.

The thing to remember here is that this whole operation in Grangemouth is now within the Forth Freeport and normal rules do not apply….not even Safety rules!

Has Holyrood given away their power to stop Fracking in the future? At the moment all fracking operations south of the Border have been suspended but the decision is a Political one. Liz Truss for instance lifted the moratorium, Sunak reinstated it!

What will Starmer do under pressure from Ineos and others plus the need for our own energy….to sell on no doubt!

There are no givens here once the big boys move into these Freeports. They can quite easily hold governments to ransom!

The Freeport contracts are a closely guarded secret, most business contracts are but these are different because what is being sold or given away is our Land, when did we ever give the Scottish government the right to do that?……NEVER!

Did anyone ever see the words Freeports or SEZs in the SNP Manifesto? No these have been thrust upon us under the guise of levelling-up with the blessing of Kate Forbes & Co.

In April 2024 a Westminster Government Committee cited there was a ‘lack of transparency’ around Freeports, it appears Rachel Reeves is about to ignore those findings, that shows the way things are heading under Labour.

The level playing field has just risen to another level.

There is an organisation however that is fighting against Freeports and that is the Salvo Freeport Group @salvofreeports

They are fighting on your behalf and you really do need to find out what is happening on your doorstep!

The 2026 Scottish Elections will be the most important Elections Scotland has ever had or will hold. They won’t just be about Labour v SNP, they will be about who is or has taken over this land whilst we looked the other way and how we get it back!

Well it’s not in Holyrood for sure and now less and less is in Westminster.

The real powerhouses are in the boardrooms of the International Colgomerates with MPs only passing laws here that enable them to become their own masters in a foreign land. Because that is what ‘Deregulated’ or ‘Self-regulated’ means.

We, the taxpayers are paying them billions, in total, to come to our land and once the fences are erected around their new acquisitions that’s us shut out as pathways and free roaming end.

They become a country within a country making their own laws as they go along!

We are past the point of asking Holyrood to intervene, that particular horse is dead and you can’t flog a dead horse back to life!

The only horse worth backing now is called Liberation!

Liberation seeks to return Power to the people of Scotland through Direct Democracy. [But beware there are imposters lurking in the background!]Always look for the words Direct Democracy….where egos dare not fly!!!

What is Democracy, well it’s not a spectator sport for starters!

Democracy is supposed to be a system of government in which state power is vested in the people!

With the incoming of Freeports & SEZs power is no longer ‘vested in the people’, it is vested in company boards and shareholders.

To put it bluntly, our own Government is slowly eroding Democracy and the only people fighting to retain it are those of us in the Liberation movement. Also the only Party joining in that fight is the ISP who believe in the Sovereignty of the People, not Parliament.

I am done with Politicians who stand for the kind of Democracy that allows them to make such monumental decisions behind our backs because they think they know best.

Backroom deals made in boardrooms is not the kind of Democracy we want or need in Scotland. Every decision made here should be for the people of Scotland and their welfare, and don’t tell me we can’t afford it!!

The home of real Direct Democracy!

Glancing at this heading you are probably saying to yourself….thank God!

We are just so sick of all the lies and most folks have just switched off.

But what would you think if that was for real?

No Elections means no democracy, your voice is forever silenced.

At the moment we have a choice, as limited as those choices are and the right to vote accordingly. Could that ever change?

Could the unimaginable ever become a reality, well probably not if the question for this kind of change was ever asked….but it won’t be asked….it does not need to be asked because that power creep is already in play!

In a number of cities south of the Border, Democracy has already been suspended. We just don’t recognise it for what it is…..Corporate Sovereignty by the back door.

As Freeports and SEZs become the norm Local Authority income reduces resulting in bankruptcy. In walk the corporations as Compulsory Purchase Orders kick in and with them the company bosses who take over the running of the Council instead of Elected Representatives.

Corporate sovereignty replaces collective sovereignty and hey presto your Elections disappear. Everything is then about control and profit.

The ‘couldnt happen’ has just happened….is happening.

Our new Labour Health Minister is already talking about the NHS becoming ‘profitable’!

Well if Thames Water is anything to go by…be afraid… be very afraid.

Can we stop this from happening in Scotland? YES, if we hurry up. Freeports and SEZs are in place but their full impact has yet to bite.

The change you voted for is on the way but it’s not the change you thought you were voting for!

Salvo and Liberation are fighting this power sweep, if you care about Scotland, if you care about protecting your own home…I say that because there is every likelihood that you live within one of these Freeport or SEZ areas, then join the fight today.

The whole of the Central Belt has been taken over by these FPs & SEZs, and much secrecy surrounds them. We have only about 18 months to unravel that secrecy. Holyrood will do everything in its power to make sure we don’t get the chance to read the small print. Most Councilors don’t even know!

The battle for knowledge is on because knowledge is power.

This land is our land and no one has the right to give it away to any foreign Consortium under the pretence of Investment.

We have been here before and no doubt history will keep on repeating itself until we recognise there is a way out and are brave enough to take it.

There was a day when there was clear water between Red & Blue but since the Blair era, the two have merged into one under the Libertarian flag.

All we will hear in the King’s Speech is a continuous of the same ideology, welcome to Déjà vu.

We feel like the hamster, stuck on an ever-revolving wheel, if only we the People as a whole would stop running, the wheel would stop and the game would be over.

Because of the results of the GE, the idea, not that they ever entertained the idea, of our Nationalist MPs walking out of Westminster has gone, but we can still stop the wheel!

We don’t have to live in this Déjà vu world.

A new world awaits us, Salvo and Liberation have started building it, the foundation bricks are in place and the more bricklayers we have the quicker this can happen.

The prison we have to escape from is the one in our head, there is no need to continue going around in circles when the answer has been presented to us.

This new path requires us only to use the British government’s own words against them.

Their trickery and lies are there for all the see, they haven’t hidden them well enough! Salvo’s researchers know how to dig deep and we owe so much to them.

A light has been shone and we won’t be turning it off again.

The land we live in now is not the land we grew up in, this land is now governed by entrepreneurs. We may work it but they take all the profits and the resources.

But we have ‘elected’ representatives and they will look after our interests you say.

Well by signing up to the Freeports and SEZs they sold your interests down the river!

They fell for the glossy brochures and promises of thousands of jobs…which have already been debunked by an internal Westminster committee.

So, step off the wheel onto firm ground and help Liberation build a new Scotland where our wealth is used to build our nation, not fix London’s sewers!!

My usual method is to wait for an inspirational word or words from others and let the train of thought develope.

That reminded me of Martin Luther King’s “ I Dreamed a Dream”

I would say everyone in the Yes movement holds a dream in their heart for Scottish Independence but if just remains there, it serves no purpose at all except to build frustration.

There are a number of things you can do to make your dream come true, here are a few!

Dont be afraid to dream big.

Always visualize your goal!

Break the journey down into manageable steps.

Compare Scotland to other countries who have achieved the same goal.

Looking at how Salvo and Liberation have achieved so much in such a short space of time I realise these are steps they must have taken.

Don’t try and go it alone there is a huge organization out there waiting to help you and encourage you. And as we encourage you….you encourage us!

Don’t sit and wish your life away, believe in your dreams and grasp the Thistle.

And don’t worry about who will run the country or how it will be run because once you join Salvo and Liberation you will see all the answers!

But to give you a clue, a new Scotland’s foundation would be built on Direct Democracy where You are in charge. So it could be you helping to run the country!
