It’s never a good idea to……

It’s never a good idea to take the easy option when it comes to voting. I have lost count of the number of times I read these words….”I will vote for anyone but them”.

“Anyone”?

Well just look where that has got us, out of the frying pan and into the fire!

If we don’t change our way of thinking about Elections before next year things will only get worse. When are we going to understand that the ‘big’ parties are not the answer? For them, Power comes before the People.

We have done this Labour then Tory then Labour again thing all of my lifetime, and here we are decades later and worse off than we ever were. We must stop repeating our mistakes because the government be it Westminster or Holyrood is not going to stop repeating theirs!

Small is beautiful! Smaller parliaments are easier to manage, and we don’t have to look far within Europe to see some good examples. That is why the idea of Direct Democracy appeals to me.

Change is not about tinkering around the edges of government, it’s about turning it on its head, where power comes from the bottom up!

……and you know what’s amazing, some of the smaller parties get this as do many of the people.

What hasn’t clicked is?…how to make a small Party bigger!

… And it might surprise you how easy the answer is……YOUR VOTE!

You are the growth Scotland needs to grow!

You are the change!

That change of thought could change everything.

Now we know our educators brainwashed us, are we going to just stand back and say, ‘So what’?…..when there’s so much we could accomplish?

Think 2026

Think Small

Think Smart

Think Change

Be the change!!

Bridge over troubled waters..

The nearer one gets to an Election the greater the waters become troubled.

Liberate Scotland has formed a bridge where Partys can unite under one banner, but like every bridge, it has its limits. Too much stress, too many demands and it too could crack.

Trying to forge a route ahead that requires both Unity and autonomy will not be easy, but with a bit of imagination, it could be doable! If not it will not be for the want of trying. Let us not forget we are working within English rules, and they were never intended to help us!

But with the Union myth shattered, momentum is on our side.

Many think Holyrood is also broken, somethings can be glued back together but somehow I don’t think this would work with Holyrood. Why would you try and put something back together when it didn’t work for us in the first place?

After all, Holyrood is just an extension of Westminster, and the one thing we don’t want is the status quo!

So if the new bridge is going to work it must offer something very different on the other side. The grass indeed must be greener and the only way we can insure that is to create a level playing field ourselves.

As we approach the Election, we will be bombarded with all types of 🥕…….But as we know, ‘carrots’ can rot very quickly.

Surely we won’t allow ourselves to be duped again….if we do we deserve everything we get!

Only by being bold and radical can we move forward and take back what has always been ours.

Liberate Scotland and

https://liberation.scot

are both bold and radical……now is the time to become a rebel!

Which box do you fit in to?

When it comes to Scotland and Independence there can be no ‘fence sitters’! We are either part of the problem or part of the solution.

First of all let me make one thing clear, for the purpose of this article I do not see ‘Unionists’ as the problem. For me the problem is the many who shout YES but sit back and do nothing. They think everyone else will get it done.

Well, I am sorry but……it wont happen!

Then there are also those who, because they like the sound of their own voices, go out of the way to have public spats, even with those within their party. They may call it, a ‘healthy debate’ but the fact is others see it as division and will use it against us. They then become part of the problem!

We all need to be a little more self-aware, it’s how others see us that matters.

We are being watched by very critical eyes! Our opponents lay in wait, ready to pounce on every mistake we make.

We are the solution to our problems.

Positivity beats negativity every time. Therefore it is incumbent upon us to speak and behave positively at all times…..would you not agree?

Together we can achieve the impossible. Divided we fail.

Follow the positive path…..follow

Are we being radical enough?

Are we in Scotland being radical enough, or are we just tinkering around the edges?

Do we even understand the meaning of the word?

On being Radical” generally refers to the concept of advocating for or enacting fundamental change in a system or way of thinking. It can be seen as a call to challenge established norms and structures, often from a position that goes beyond incremental adjustments.

When people start referring to us as ‘rebellious people’ or extremists, then we will know we’re getting it right!

We must start demanding instead of asking and our first demands should not be to Westminster but Holyrood! They must use the powers they have to protect Scotland and if because of the Internal Market Bill, they have lost those powers they must make it clear to the whole of Scotland where that now leaves us.

By not speaking out they are complicit in the lie!

We the people must start challenging the established norms’ in Scottish Politics.

Next year we will be asked to make choices, but we cannot do that without all the facts about where we now stand Constitutionaly.

Do we have any Powers left?….if so, what are they?

We need a solution to our problems here in Scotland and the only game left in town is Liberate Scotland.

Proving Scotland is a Colony and going for Decolonisation is the most radical, even revolutionary move Scotland has made in years but we need to convince our Politicians or remove them!….. that would fit the ‘radical’ bill!

Over the next few months, we must show our intent, and let our Politicians see we are serious……we want change and we want it now!

They must join us or step aside!

There was a day not so long ago when our FM marched proudly with AUOB, their absence speaks volumes. They have now become part of the problem…..not the solution!

Now, like every other nation that has gained its Independence, Scotland must rely on its People to lead the way. We are those People, we are all Scotland has left. So roll up your sleeves put on your boots and let’s get this done under the Liberate Scotland banner.

The elephant in the room…..

Warning!!! I am going to be controversial today!!

Everyone is berating Starmer because he did not include or even consider speaking to the Scottish Gov before handing over our Fishing Rights. On that I agree it was deplorable, but…..and there’s always a but, whilst we spend so much energy venting our anger on one issue we fail to see the bigger picture…..Rees Mogg certainly hasn’t!

https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1972168/brexit-jacob-rees-mogg-labour

Scotland voted to stay in the EU, Starmer was and still is a ‘Remainer’ ……and the bigger picture is, Starmer is edging us nearer to the EU again. Should we not be welcoming this in theory at least?

Scotlands assets are Scotlands assets there is no disputing that but at this moment in time we have to work with what we have got, and what we have got is Westminster holding all the cards…..and that will remain so until after the UN makes its ruling regarding Colonisation.

How good Starmer and his negotiators are remains to be seen, we have not got the full picture of our gains yet. But one thing is for sure, after Liberation we can negotiate our own terms with everyone, including England…..that will be fun!

If our government had spent as much energy berating Westminster about Independence as it has today about being kept out of the loop then we might not be where we are today. Once again, they see the problem but not the solution.

Liberate Scotland sees the solution and will take it.

Whats on offer?

I have been sitting listening to this afternoons session at the SSRG conference, in particular about the next steps. Sara said something that made me think, not for the first time I may add!!

It was about motivating people…..firing up their passion! Offering them something distinct other than just using the word ‘Independence!

The people of Scotland have been robbed of their identity, robbed of their rights and robbed of the land they stand on. Not to mention everything under it and the sea.

We don’t need Reform we need a Rebirth.

We need to learn to feel good again, right from the heart.

We need to take a good look at where we are and why. We are all in the same boat held back by the anchor of Westminster. Our boat is sinking. Living standards are dropping, local services are diminished and as much as the Scot government shores up the SNHS, believe me, between Labour and Reform, it will change and not for the better.

Liberation Scotland offers a solution that will take Scotland off on another path.

A word to the wise, though: Do not confuse those supporting Liberation Scotland [the umbrella organization ]with the parties putting up Candidates, they are not the same! [ Liberation Scotland, Salvo, or SSRG are not political parties!]

We need to remind people of who they are and what they have at their fingertips.

This is not a game, it is a game-changer. Everything is up for grabs. Why beg for crumbs when we, yes we, own the whole shop?

Why is the pensioner sitting wrapped in blankets to keep warm when Scotland is so energy rich?

Why are families starving when farmers are having to destroy their crops because we must??? Import food from other countries?

So many wrongs could be righted if we all got behind the only train moving…..the Liberation train.

Remember this?

They said the entry in Hansard was an accident…..these kinds of things don’t happen by accident…..not at that level, they were found out, telling their truth because as it turns out, we are indeed just a colony…..a sub-region!

Are you happy with that?

If not, join the rest of us…

As the world looks on…..

If we Scots are anything, it is that we are persistent and we are not going to give up…..not ever!

https://www.scotsman.com/community/scotlands-constitutional-future-under-scrutiny-as-legal-case-for-de-colonisation-set-to-be-unveiled-5130398

The world is watching and even our press are beginning to notice something is happening. So you can bet your last £ Westminster won’t be sitting on its hands. They will be busy behind the scenes talking to diplomats…..but how much influence does the UK brand have now? The ‘Great’ in GB has disappeared.

Our participation in foreign wars is deplored by many former colonies, potentially making it easier for Liberation Scotland to get support at the UN.

Of course, Westminster will pull out all the stops, including bribes and threats but something tells me we will have friends and they will be friends with honour…..a word not associated with British politics!

Former Colonies gained their freedom through persistence and we will follow the same route. Sadly this route is not recognized by the SNP…..I wonder why?

Liberation Scotland has planted a new seed and we must make sure it grows, why?

Because Scotland is a prisoner in this very British Democracy and it’s killing us.

Our future is ‘wide open’, Scotland’s history is still being written, but we must make sure this time that the pen is in our hands not Westminsters.

As the exciting news from the SSRG Conference filters out, now is the time to build momentum. There is still time for other small parties to come under the umbrella, the notion is catching on, and the people love it!

Politics and Football….

Politics and football have one thing in common when it comes to emotions. They both take us on an emotional roller coaster….. assuming you are a fan of course!…..and if you’re a fan of both…..heaven help you😅😅

May is always the end of the football season and next May we will also have the Scottish Elections…so I for one will be an emotional wreck, no matter what the outcomes are!

Emotions only come into play if you care about something, and I care deeply about Scotland and its people. It matters to me that we have been lied to for hundreds of years.

It matters to me that we are still being lied to, even by our own goverment.

It matters to me that this SNP Government are about to step in an overturn the democratic wishes of the people around Loch Lomond.

This could never happen in a country whose politics revolve around Direct Democracy. In these countries, the People say what happens, and this could happen in Scotland if we have the courage to change the system.

We currently have a Representative Democracy, but the problem is that once we vote these people in, our wishes are no longer represented. Party Politics takes over with agendas we have never even heard of and certainly never voted for.

In football clubs, if the manager doesn’t deliver, he is sacked. In Politics a Party that doesn’t deliver just hangs around like a bad smell making all our lives miserable!

Liberate Scotland and those campaigning under its banner offer something different from the norm, they believe in Direct Democracy as well as Independence…..the perfect marriage!

If you believe as I do that Scotland is more than able to stand alone in this world, then liberation.scot and Salvo are the places where you can get involved, have your say and be heard!

Nothing is impossible…

When I see pictures like this I am reminded that nothing is impossible.

Every Political Party and every Freedom movement started because someone had a dream…….a dream of change. The aspiration that we could do things differently. And every one of them that has been successful one way or another had to break through the impossible….the rocks.

Liberate Scotland is no different, the rocks will be there, be it internally or externally you can be sure they will be there…..but these seeds are strong and carry with them the hopes and dreams of Scotland.

We can all dream but there comes a time when we have to wake up and face reality, and the reality is…..dreams don’t just happen, they require some assistance.

We Scots tend to be quite laid-back, sometimes too laid-back and now is not the time for that….even if the sun is shinning😅😅

We are also very good at creating our own problems and one sure way of doing that is to sit back and expect a few to do all the work. Gaining Independence will take every like-minded person to do their bit, be it in an organization or individually.

If you’re not able to physically do anything you can just hit the share button on everything you agree with….get the message out there! You have power at your fingertips!!

Sometimes life throws bricks at us, and when that happens we have two choices, to stay crushed under the pile or use them to rebuild and refocus!

Be the one who helps get things done!

Democracy at work…

Some gaps just have to be filled!

As Parties announced their Candidates for 2026, it has become clear that many Independence supporters will have no one to vote for, given that they are determined to never Vote for the SNP again and Alba not standing in any Constituencies.

The danger of not filling these gaps is if they don’t have an alternative to vote for they wouldn’t bother to come out and vote which in turn would also affect the List vote.

The gap has to, where possible be filled and that is what is happening under the Liberate Scotland umbrella. Ordinary people stepping up offering that alternative.

There are still gaps that need to be filled….will you fill one?

For many of us, age is now a barrier and it is healthy to be able to admit that fact but that doesn’t mean we ‘oldies’ are a busted flush….we still have a voice, and we can still encourage others, even spot talent when we see it….and I see so much talent at every meeting I attend.

John Swinney has just said Scotland does not have the political means to achieve Independence, so what is his answer…….raise the bar to 75% in the polls! Blinkers on, no ambition whatsoever to seek another route……our way or no way!

Well, he is in for a surprise because the word is out, that there is another route and the People are taking it!

Scotland’s political scene is in desperate need of CPR…..2026 will be the opportunity for that to happen.

Please don’t wake up the day after the Election and say, ‘If only I had….’ Make a conscious decision today to be part of the change taking place.

Don’t let other people kill your dream for Scotland, stand tall along with the rest of us and make it happen in 2026. Our FM may keep moving the goalposts, but he is not the only game in town.
