But as expected she is backing the wrong horse even before all the horses are in the paddock!!
“Now is not the time” she says, now where have I heard those words before……ah yes…..Theresa May!
I see digital ID is back on the agenda, they say it will be optional, but that is just code for, ” We will force it upon you. And why? Because Blair says so!
The problem with anything digital is that you can erase it at the touch of a button… including History!
And before you complain, remember two weeks ago, most voted for ‘continuity’. Which meant ‘more of the same please’! It appears we will have to learn lessons the hard way.
On a more positive note, at least we haven’t got another Green in the Presiding Officers’ seat! Some crazy names were floating in the air at one point, even though he himself has some dodgy credentials. He is insisting all MSPs lie regarding all things gender. This is going to be interesting, who will be the first to resist and quote the Law?
I have a feeling that some who did take a mild interest in the Scottish Election, will now go back to sleep until the next GE, that’s the way of politics. But what about the smaller parties, what will they decide to do?
Well, I suppose that depends on how serious they were in the first place.

The first problem they must tackle is the vanishing voters and how to rebuild trust. Perhaps that must happen at ground level in local elections. Counsellors must learn to represent all in their area, not make it tribal. Something the SNP fails to do in East Dunbartonshire.
Growing can be painful and it takes careful navigation and financial competence to show one’s determination. Money helps, of course it does, but it is not the most important factor of a party…….people are! So, if one’s base has increased, why not build on it, especially if talent has arrived on the scene!
There is one thing that puzzles me though, not so much politics, but education. With all the evidence, even from Hansard, why are schools in Scotland still being taught a history built on lies?

…..or, as I am learning from south of the border, history seems to only go as far back as WW1&2…… we didn’t seem to exist before that😂😂
One of my all time favourites on TV was called Roots.
Our roots are important, they are who we are and give us a kind of stability in tough times.

We may live in an area called the British Isles, but where we started off within these islands is important because that is where our values and culture lies.
Westminster may have tried to lump us all together as one, but we are not, one in any shape or form. The lie has been exposed and the ‘takeover’ is coming to an end.
So, who ever takes the top seat in Westminster should take note……change is coming from all 3 Celtic nations!
