Que Sara Sara….

Predictions are just predictions, but on the day things may look very different. As I have said before, some polls are meant to pull us into a certain direction.

The colour that interests me most, is the light blue, Reform!

The message they give out is startling enough, but it’s how they get it out that is even more startling.

Reform, are backed up by ‘big money’ and that money buys a lot……including the media!.….the subliminal message now, is not unlike Trump’s! They even copied his branding idea. [TBB]

And they include photos to prove it!

According to Farage, all our woes hinge on one group of people, well, I suppose if you hate people as much as he does that is to be expected!

I do not believe that on the day, Scots will, en masse vote for something they are inherently against, which is racism.

We have known for a while, sadly, that the SNP will be the majority, but, and this is important…..they still need to be held in check and strong smaller independence parties can do that.

Perception is everything in politics, and the public needs to see good opposition in practice.

We need people who are not afraid to speak up or out. But, also we need people who will dig deep into our constitutional status and remind the SNP the Claim of Right still stands in Law!

Sovereignty is not just a word, it means something.

Angus Robertson may be okay with bowing to an English King, but the majority of us are not!

MSPs from smaller parties can make a big difference in a place like Holyrood. Unlike Westminster, it is small, and designed in such a way that we see and hear everything and everyone.

So, let’s get the rebels in and see how the governing party responds in public!

Because we will be watching and we will be listening.

As you know a Plebiscite election is like a Referendum, so, ask yourselves this, why did the SNP not allow this one to be such a one? Surely that would have been the way forward for any government serious about Independence.

Please look at all the manifestos and see which one or ones fit best with your ideals.

This year is important, we either move Scotland forward or we remain in lockdown!

But first…..

Change happens…

We humans can be strange people at times. We are creatures of habit and love our comfort zones.

We want change, but don’t want to be the change!

We prefer to let others do all that stuff, but the reality is, life doesn’t work that way. Because the change we get is very seldom the change we wanted.

Out ‘wants’ may differ, but our ‘needs’ are basically the same.

We tend to call them ‘our rights’ and we expect our governments to deliver!

That is, after all, why we pay our taxes and vote various Parties into power. In Scotland it tends to be either the SNP or Labour. We are programmed to believe only these two exist. South of the border it’s usually Tory or Labour…..but that is changing, as people begin to look outside of the box.

Now is the time for us to follow suit!

We need to lift our eyes and look further afield because this two-party dominance just ain’t working anymore.

There is an obvious question for the SNP, and it is, if a large majority can win us independence, why did it not do so before?

There is also a question for Labour, as long as they remain English based they have to do as they are told…..why not register as a Scottish Party and stand alone.

As for Reform, well at least they have told the truth, they want to take Scotland back to the Stone Age!!!

Knowing all this, leaves us with our own question…..who do we turn to?

Only two things need to happen to get us the change we need. First, a change of thought, followed by a change in voting patterns. Not exactly mind-boggling or exhausting!!! For some of us, we don’t even have to leave our chairs!!!

For those of us who believe that only Independence will get us to where we need to be, there are a few choices on offer. But beware, there are some individual rogues out there and you can spot them by their words, especially on Social Media!

Their critisism and rudeness to others, define their character. Are these really the kind of people we want in government?

As you know, in Scotland we have an additional vote, the List Vote, where you vote for a Party, not necessarily a person you know..

An example of integrity.

On a personal level, I will add this, acquaintances made elsewhere, remain so.

Life is too short to make enemies, political or otherwise.

Let us all unite around the Saltire.

Things aren’t what they used to be…..

On my timeline, I keep seeing wee anecdotes about how things have changed over the years, in particular about services.

The above photo, shows my father’s garage in Canonbie, [1960-70s]where I grew up. Not only did I grow up there, I worked for a while in that business before going into partnership with him to open a grocer’s shop next door. So I know a little about the importance of customer services, and how it has changed.

The days of blowing up customers tyres for free and checking water levels are well and truly gone, now we pay an arm and a leg to do it ourselves!

Personal service in any form is still important, but sadly lacking these days.

Today, if you are ill and are sent to an A&E from another hospital, you can end up sitting for over 6hrs on a hard chair in the waiting room before you are even seen……as did a 79yr-old friend of mine last week.

…..and don’t even get me started with private companies, once you sign a contract you just become a number not a valued client. You are at their mercy!

Not everything old is old-fashioned and should be binned.

And if you think politics hasn’t changed, then think again. I am old enough to remember when politicians had the good grace to step down when caught lying or having an affair!

Today, they don’t lie, they mis-speak!!

They also, top up their high wages with backhanders from lobbyists or they charge us for renting a home near work, even if they own one down the road!!…….everything is about money…..from the taxpayer. And I’m not sure we fare much better in Scotland.

Our system invites scroungers. Private companies have more safeguards against corruption than governments do. Fiscal prudence is nonexistent.

…..and we are paying for it through the nose!

Sadly, we have to use the system we have, to change it.

There was a time when a garage would only put up petrol prices when their tanks had been refilled, if the price had gone up. Today, even talk of war will send it sky high in hours. Britain holds about a 3-month supply.……so why the rush……oh yes…I forgot…. let’s push our profits up and everything else while we’re at it.

10 days ago, Starmer called the energy suppliers into a meeting to prevent such a thing…..but then I did say the government is beholden to the large conglomerates, didn’t I?

So they told him!!

My timeline keeps saying Starmer will be gone by the summer! If true, no doubt he will join the long line of ex politicians and ex diplomats who seem to wander the earth at the expense of others, on the ‘talking circuits’. Still having the need to feel important, forgetting why they are ‘exes’ in the first place!

They may even return home one day, popping up on a different bandwagon, still seeking recognition.

Scotland doesn’t need ‘old blood’, especially if it’s been somewhat diluted with alcohol!!!! We need new blood that is vibrant and energetic.

What can we do about it?

We can vote for change on the 7th May. We can send a message to Westminster, and let them know the sleeping lion is awakening. And we can tell the SNP, that Scottish women have also had enough.

Never underestimate the ordinary, they have a habit of surprising everyone!

Private funerals…

When you start to classify funerals and forbid photographs, you have lost your argument and show only fear.

Fear the truth will get out!

At some point soon, the Americans will rise in revolt, because if there is one truth you can never hide, it is, how many are dead?

And that rising will be ugly.

Sadly, we in Britain can not say ‘our hands are clean’, because they are not. And the word ‘defence’ no longer cuts it.

We are the only country in Europe allowing American bombers, not only to use our airspace, but also our land, to refuel and restock with bombs, think on that for a minute or two!

One fact and one alone remains, no matter what we think of the regime in Iran, that country has never ever, attacked another country first.

And the claim that they could have WMDs in so many weeks, has been served up for so many years, it makes those who keep repeating it look stupid and inept.

It’s like serving up a bowl full of yesterdays porridge!

That stupidity rose to new heights with the bombing of the gas field.

We, in Scotland should be asking, why in a country, so full of natural resources, are we so dependent on oil and gas from that area of the world?

It’s all about consumership, and how we gamble with our assets. [Can we sell our oil at…….? Then buy some back elsewhere at a lower price.] That may work in peacetime, but not in war.

We have made ourselves reliant on others.

They say you should never gamble unless you are prepared to lose, well we are losing big time now!

Scotland has the capacity to be self-sufficient in many ways, especially in energy. But we can’t make these decisions, and they aren’t made in Westminster either, because they have also been bought and sold. Large worldwide colgomerates dictate the terms and conditions now. Add to that Trump’s hold over us….whatever that may be?

First they came for our oil, now they come for our land!

Freeports and these ‘special economic zones’ are code for sellouts and tax breaks.

The SNP love these things, they see them as instant cash machines, but it’s like Lidl’s middle isle…..once its gone…its gone!…….and if you do manage to buy it back, decades down the line, it will cost you an arm and a leg! Look at Adrossan Harbour!

There is only one Party in Scotland that has consistently fought against this theft, and that is…..

We need people in Holyrood who are not only prudent with public money, but also able to see the other end of the story! The what happens after!

Look them up, you will get a surprise!

You just never know….

Good governance is about always being prepared for the unexpected.

As we, apparently prepare for petrol rationing, the obvious elephant in the room is Grangemouth!

One day we will learn from our mistakes. We will learn that when we have the necessary resources to fill the gap in times of crisis……dont bin them!

Politicians are not practicable people, all they saw was, let’s strip Scotlands capacity…….future need never entered their minds.

I am one of these peculiar people, who when going on holiday, will pack my case full of things, I might need!!….and usually end up bringing them home again😄😄

My code for life being…..better safe than sorry!

The closing of Grangemouth was political not practical.

We definitely need practical people in Holyrood!

But above all, we need a government in Scotland, with some teeth!

A government with real power, not power borrowed from Westminster. The Scottish Government bought Prestwick Airport for £1, but has no power over it! You could say, they bought it for Westminster, that’s how Devolution works.

There are no pros about Devolution, there’s just ‘cons’. It’s a poker game we will never win! The rules make sure of that.

Every independence party and every independence voter holds the key to changing this.

But we have to work together, towards one goal, and that is, getting the right people into Holyrood in May.

In this race, Scotland should be the winner, not English-registered parties.

I will not let the recent upsets deter me from my goal, if we remain focused…..we can win by bringing the right influence into Holyrood.

Let’s bring the ‘Rainbow Parliament’ back into being.

Use your List Vote wisely.

It is time for us to ‘go for it’ not ‘run from it’!!!

Movement, is always good!

Movement, especially forward, is always good. We are by nature, impatient people. Maybe that is because as a nation, we have waited so long for something….anything to happen!

A step is a step, and that is what matters.

In the meantime, we as individuals have some steps to take. The first one being to make sure you are registered to vote. Don’t sit back and think this is an automatic thing, it isn’t!

So make sure, you are on the list!!!!…..to vote!

Parliamentary democracy may not be the one that many of us want, but it is the only game in town just now. So we have to use it, to change it.

We must decide now, what is important to us, obviously Independence comes first and foremost, but can we afford to just vote for anybody who claims to be on board with that?

Surely other things matter too!

For many women in Scotland, second to independence comes safety, and quite rightly too. They have fought a long hard battle against a government that doesn’t know, ‘what a woman is’!

History will not record the Scottish governments wokery well. But something tells me, it’s remnants are still there. Can we afford, to let those smouldering embers reignite?

On an entirely different matter, has anyone come across this paper?

A neighbour handed me a copy last night. My first reaction was…..I hope it’s not a religious one!! And no it isn’t!

It does, however, include some very good information on many topics, with titled resources.

I particularly like the heading “Free for thinkers”.!!

Free thinking and free will are important, we must not let censorship take over.

It is incumbent upon us all though, to remember actions have consequences!

Always let Karma do its thing!

1st action…..

Make sure you are registered to VOTE!

A bit late to draw the curtains…..!

Last week.
This week!

As ever, someone sitting behind a desk realises the world can see what they are doing…..and panics!

And as usual, they end up making fools of themselves, as the people sing, ‘we know what you’re do…i…n…g’!

Gone are the days when we all waited to hear the news through BBC announcements. Everything, like coffee, is now instant!! And if you believe AI, things have a habit of popping up before they have even happened! Such is the world we live in.

Reality, is hard to find.

Reality is our living experience right now, and for many, it isn’t a good one. Trump and Netanyahu, [or is it the ‘late Netanyahu’?] wanted to play games, but never really understood the rules, as they tried to plunge us all into WW111.

But they have underestimated their opponent, not only in tactics but also in weaponry. It’s beginning to look like both Isreal and Iran will be turned into wastelands. So nobody wins.

It’s always dangerous when zelouts try to bring prophecy into being.

How is this affecting us here in Scotland? Well we find ourselves in an energy-rich country paying the highest prices in the world. Does that look like good fiscal management to you? And this affects everything we have to buy, from fuel to food.

We all know the answer, but how to get there is another matter. Thanks to our SNP government we are not going to get a Plebiscite election, which could have taken the place of a Referendum. Only they can explain WHY!

We can however, after the election, irrespective of the outcome, total up what could have been a vote for Independence. Get your calculators out!

Please do not forget the ‘Salvo’ element in all of this. The Decolonisation train is still on the tracks, and the ISP supports it.

What happens post-election I do not know and I’m not into crystal balls!! But I do know this, if you want the smaller parties to stay in the game, you are going to have to support them. There is a big country outside of the SM bubble and we need to connect with it.

Something quite phenomenal happened over the weekend, resulting in many activists being awakened, we need every one of you and more. So bring your pals and connect with us and others.

We are still seeing Unity in action, maybe not in the way we thought we would, but individually it is still happening.

Remember……

And poof……..

There are some days in your life, when your world turns upside down. A day, when everything you thought you believed in disappears in almost the blink of an eye.

It was a day for decisions, hard ones. A day to stand on Principles.

Principles I knew would perhaps lose me friends, but I wasn’t sure which ones!

Thursday was such a day.

Principles and integrity are very important to me, that is why I choose my friends wisely.

A rift has opened up within the Unity party, it is not my intention to go into a lot of details, because whatever I say will by its very nature be deemed as justifying the actions of one side or the other.

First, let me answer a Q. Do I regret promoting The Alliance to Liberate Scotland?

The answer is simple…..NO, I DO NOT.

My blog has always been neutral, apart from criticism of our governing Party. Nor did I ever criticise Alba!

Sadly, over the past few days the ground has shifted and being one of the co-founder members of the ISP and on the executive, I have had to stand back and take stock.

I have listened, read accounts of the happenings, and yes I have cried as I saw the walls of unity come tumbling down.

Each account was obviously given through raw emotion.

For me personally, it was not about personalities, but rather about the process of how some decisions were made.

In any Alliance trust and respect matter. And when you are in such an alliance each party must, in my opinion be aware of how the ripples of their decisions may affect the other stakeholders.

Whatever happens going forward, I trust Independence will remain at the top of the agenda for all concerned.

Let us be mindful of our words on SM……Karma has a habit of biting back. There’s been a crack, let’s not make it a chasm.

The ISP has made a statement, a decision was made and I endorse it. But it only leaves me with an overwhelming sense of sadness.

The experiment in Unity did work, it was the rules…..the Westminster rules, that changed the dynamics.

Party politics may have returned but we still need to unite around Independence.

This is the only flag that matters…….

Bubbles…..!

I get somewhat amused when people, even some Indy bloggers refer to small parties as existing only within the internet bubble.

Bubbles, have a habit of growing and multiplying, and don’t underestimate the size of the platforms they multiply on.

Approximately 90 to 91% of adults are now connected to the internet in Scotland, and based on 2025-2026 data around 48% of those adults interact with Social media.

Add to that the number of 16-year-olds who can vote, and it is this number we need to capture!!

Young people love to rally around a cause, and there is no better or more necessary cause than Independence. We just need to ignite their imagination.

Bubbles, of course can burst, that is why it is important for every party to have strong foundations.

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland has these, the Leadership is made up of well-seasoned activists who have been involved in politics for many years.

They haven’t arrived with a huge bank balance, but remember the old adage, ‘take care of the pennies, and the pounds will take care of themselves’! Prudence is their middle name!

And it is this kind of ethic that people expect from their representatives!…. not wasting millions on lost causes!

So, let’s get out and support these rebels, because their cause is our cause.

Mmm……..not sure about this!

I possess a number of Bibles, including a Jewish [Messianic] one, and nowhere in any of them does it say this.

The word “Chosen” like many other words and phrases in the Bible, has been used by politicians and ultra Evangelicals down through the years, as a weapon to impose an agenda. In this case, a Holy War!

The thing that many Christians fail to recognise is, that when it comes to Israel, religion is politics! They are not in an Alliance, they are one, and they are inseparable.

……and they have given themselves a name…..Zionists. Thus, distinguishing them from others in the Jewish faith. It is important that we recognise this, because being anti-zionist is not being anti-semitic.

Words and names are important, especially in politics, as are flags.

How many realise that within the words ‘United Kingdom’ lies one of the biggest lies ever to be recorded?

Salvo, proved the lie, now we should turn our attention to Devolution.

How many times have I said this?

Now you have the evidence, from Starmer himself!

https://x.com/joanflitcroft/status/2031435932604223530?s=61

……and the shocking thing is, it wasn’t the SNP who highlighted this, it was Plaid Cymru!

When are Nationalists going to wake up? When are they going to recognise the False Flags?

This SNP government is trying to tell us they are the ‘chosen ones’ in Scotland. They are not……the People are!

And it will be the People who decide in May.

A mandate for the People, by the People. You asked for Unity, they delivered. More were invited but chose the party first path.

The hand of friendship is still extended.
