There are some who are wondering why the go-to word has changed from Independence to Sovereignty.

I will endeavour to explain.

Independence remains at the top of everyone’s agenda but through Salvo, we have discovered that the only route left towards that goal is to regain our Sovereign status in the eyes of the world.

The word that has actually become redundant is ‘Referendum’. Westminster have once again reneged on every promise they have made to Scotland and slammed that door shut! Any party still seeking this route is decieving you even if they say they will go the UN route if not successful because all that means is further delays and the one thing Scotland can not afford is any more delays.

Further delays mean more time for Corporate takeovers, of course, many want this, even our friendliest Party Leaders!

The ideology of Libertarianism has well and truly become the new financial God and you would be shocked if you knew who some of its converts were, many household names. Names we trusted to keep Scotland safe.

Sovereignty will not replace Independence it will lead to it. Picture Sovereignty as a train with many carriages!

Sovereignty is the engine that opens up everything else. Independence is the destination!

If we build the foundations now, Independence could happen quicker than you think and those foundations are being assembled right now by a lot of influential people who have the expertise needed to make Scotland, your Scotland become a viable wealthy Nation once again.

Here we go again, the battle lines for 2026 are being drawn.

For thousands of us the battle will not be about the big boys. It will be about Sovereignty, but even this can be deceiving therefore I offer a word of caution.

There are two kinds of Sovereignty. In Scotland our Constitution ( which still lives is being modernised) states, we the People are Sovereign! and a vote in Westminster confirmed that.

The Sovereignty of the People goes hand in hand with Direct Democracy. Power in our hands!

The other kind of Sovereignty is Parliamentary Sovereignty, this is an English system which our own Parliament, Holyrood acquiesces to. It’s a double whammy for us because Holyrood bows to the superiority of Westminster then we bow to the superiority of Holyrood!

In short, once we give our individual sovereignty over to MPs and MSPs through our vote, our power as individuals becomes null and void….they can do as they wish, there is no power of recall….nothing!

We get what we vote for!

We will have a choice in 2026, to vote for Scotland’s Sovereignty, built on the people’s Sovereignty and Direct Democracy. As we get nearer please look behind the words offered by others because the word Sovereignty could just be a word used to gain Political power.

If Direct Democracy is not the foundation of a Party even smaller Parties then questions need to be asked about the power structure, also who gets paid and by who! In other words who are the real stakeholders, the members or?

In real grassroots Parties, all are equal and members actually get to run the Party and can overrule the executive even!!!

We are experiencing the lies of Labour already and they will get away with it because the majority believed the lies the promises. And despite the calls for Starmer to resign already, he is going nowhere for 5 years because there is no system to remove him, apart from his own Party.

We must change the system that is why it is so important to identify the difference between Parliamentary Sovereignty and the Peoples Sovereignty.

For those of us who know the difference our job is to educate people and we haven’t got long to do it.

That job will become much easier when we see movement at the UN, it’s a two-pronged approach, the case(Legal) and the registration of Liberation, the Peoples movement and this is what we need people to sign up to.

We have a problem in Scotland and it rears its ugly head every time there is an election or by-election…..its called entitlement!

There is a Party who believes they and only they deserve or are entitled to every Independence vote. So the outcome is the accusation of ‘splitting the vote’!

What part of Democracy do they not understand?

Democracy is about giving people a choice, take that choice away from them and we end up with a dictatorship!

Perhaps those who accuse the smaller parties of this need to take a good look at themselves and ask why is this happening, but I will spare them the trouble!

You are failing because you failed!

You failed to deliver on several mandates given to you by us the people to deliver Independence, instead, you went off on some weird journey no one voted for.

Now the People will take over, taking the route you knew existed but for one reason or another would not even entertain. You even went to the lengths of locking the doors of Holyrood on a group that offered you a Legally viable route to Independence. So don’t complain when we say enough is enough!

I hate it when a Party, any Party pulls out the ‘entitlement’ card.

No one, no party, no movement is entitled to anything. We have to work for the trust of others and trust is the key to success.

…Salvo/Liberation is the place where thousands are placing their trust, why, because there is Action!

At last, we have some kind of movement towards eventual Independence.

I say ‘eventual’ not as a negative but as a positive. The wheels of justice move slowly but they do move!! And justice we will have, justice for the theft of Scotland and all that belongs to it alongside reparation!

The liars will have to explain their lies to the world watching on.

There was a Local Council By-Election in the Central Belt on Thursday but no one will probably notice but they should. Because this By-Election was in the an area covered by the Freeport/ SEZ takeover and the shocking thing was the turnout was only about 20%!!

What does this say?

Apathy is Scotland’s greatest danger and in the see-saw of life and politics, it is leaving us swinging in the air helpless and hapless whilst the ground is being taken from under our feet.

Taken by corporate greed.

We can shout and scream all we like but until the see-saw is tipped the other way it will too late to reverse the damage.

All this did not happen suddenly, it started with Brexit and remember Scotland voted against it but unlike NI we were denied any say. Brexit was not about us taking power back it was about corporate power taking over in such a way that we, not even at a Local level could ever have a say again for a long time.

It was all about the death of Democracy.

Short term fixes do not fix long term problems!

Scotland at this moment in time for many is a defeated Nation and people are acting in accordance with that feeling. Yet there is an answer…..a way out, and for those of us who believe this and are working towards it our first battle is to overcome the apathy.

How do we help people who feel weary and let down?

Well, these are my thoughts anyway.

First, take the word Politics out of the conversation!

This should no be difficult considering Liberation is not a Political Party but a Peoples movement.

Then help them declutter!! Get rid of all the negatives, especially about how they see the country as it is. You will be amazed at how clear things become once one is free to see and think!

Think how you feel when you get rid of the trash in your house after a Spring clean!!

Those two simple steps can open the way for ‘hope’.

Just listen then share the Peoples route!

Once Liberation make its move our job will become easier because what people want to see more than anything is movement.

Forgive me for mentioning his name but….

This says it all, the SNP [and others] believe in Parliamentary sovereignty above the Peoples sovereignty and this is precisely why things will never change. It is the see-saw again!

This has to change in 2026!

Scotland does not run on a deficit, Westminster takes 92% of what we own. Its India all over again.

We must redress the Power in Politics and put Scotland and its People first. We should not be not prepared to hang on to the coats tails of an English Parliament anymore.

When people have been ‘programmed’ to believe something it is very hard to shift that train of thought, even when the truth is presented to them.

The word ‘Referendum’ is so deeply embedded in the minds of many Yessers that they still see it as the only option, and the Parties still preaching this ideology are complicit in the standstill of the Yes movement.

There is something deep inside the psyche of many Independence minded Scots that they just can’t admit we all got it wrong.

We put the cart before the horse believing the Lie that we need Westminster’s permission to walk away. They did this by using the example of Countries who have walked away using UDI and how they were shunned by the world. Rhodesia being a perfect example. But in those days it was probably the only option to escape Colonization, today things are very different and it took another Lie to keep us where we are!

Yes, the Lies just keep piling up and remember every half-truth is still a lie!

Circumnavigation is a wonderful thing, you just navigate your way around the obstacles!

Westminster is not the answer to our problems, Westminster is the obstacle, and any Party advocating that route is playing the Westminster game!

It only takes one to walk away and the game ends!

If only our MPs had done so when they had the opportunity, they were the 3rd largest Party in the Commons….but no, they preferred to beg!

The word ‘Referendum’ is our individual blind spot and only as individuals can we remove it and replace it with the word Sovereignty!

The ICJ was set up just to help countries like Scotland and the fact that Westminster lied to keep us in our place will work against them.

This route is not a quick fix but it is a legally viable route and Liberation has been set up to be the Legal arm to take us on that route.

The initial papers to get Liberation.scot registered as a legal entity are being written as I write, then we will be on our way and no one not even Westminster can stop us! It will be upon them to disprove the evidence that we are indeed a Colony and not an equal partner.

The obsession with greed amongst the already wealthy is destroying Scotland from the outside in!

Do we actually own or fully benefit from any of our resources?

No, because in Westminster’s eye, they own it all, and us! We are just another commodity to be taxed. Don’t get me wrong, Holyrood does have some powers to raise money but seems quite at a loss when it comes to using them. They once had the ability to think outside of the box but now they are locked inside it!

However, it is Reeves who now holds the keys to the main purse and is proving how well she can adapt herself to Thatcherite policies.

So, guess what, we are all to blame for the state of the National finances and Scotland will pay for it!

The question is, how far down the Rocky Road of austerity will Holyrood take us before they suddenly remember there will be an election in just over 18months?

When governments talk about Investment they mean Private Investment because all our money is now paying off debts. Debts incurred by their fiscal mismanagement, debts incurred by all the backhanders to their mates, the contracts signed and nothing delivered….but it’s our fault!

On paper Scotland should have been as wealthy as Norway but our colonial masters had other ideas so they lied through their teeth to the UN about our status and no one in Scotland disputed it.

But things have now changed.

There is no United Kingdom

There was no Union of the Crowns.

There was no Union of Parliaments.

Scotland still has a Constitution.

Scotland never ceded its Territorial Waters.

The Claim of Right still stands in Law.

For decades our representatives in Scotland have lead us to believe the Westminster lie that we needed their permission to leave a Union that has never existed legally. Some new the truth but prefered to sell their souls for English gold and didnt have the guts to act on our behalf.

During this time of complicity they have enabled the virus of greed to grow to pandemic levels and no one is touching them….not even HMRC. Who have actively been told to step back when it comes to Freeports & SEZs. States within states enjoying all the perks whilst Mr & Mrs Blogs gets hunted down for every penny they owe.

Where are all the Yessers, there’s still a victory to be won.

We need to be so careful about the words we use because they reveal our prejudices as well as our principles. Get it wrong, even by mistake and we get jumped on from a great height!

I recently saw this on Twitter, ‘Scots need to start withdrawing from Brits and the British, we shouldn’t talk to them……’

Now, I am hoping this was a grammatical error, but it is a good example of how quickly things can go downhill!

Words convey a message, they represent our thoughts and our vision, there is no way I could remotely agree with the above words, my parents were English and most of my family see themselves as either English or British.

We have to draw a clear dividing line between the people and its Parliament. Call MPs what you like but do not lump them together with the ordinary person!

Scotland did not vote for Labour, the system did and it is the system we must change.

We need to learn the language!

We need to get behind the words and remember the plan, their plan. By-passing Holyrood is only one string, the lure of pretending Freeports & EZs are the best thing since sliced bread is another, even the most dangerous because these will be the most difficult to deal with after Independence.

Difficult but not impossible thanks to Salvo.

Beware of Politicians bearing gifts, including Scottish ones.

These are not short-term fixes they are long-term disasters, look at Teeside. Ask yourself why Rachel Reeves has shut down any investigation into them. They break every financial rule on the books….but then they won’t be in the books, will they!!

Quick fixes for the shareholders but we will clean up the mess whilst LAs and local businesses go bust. There is nothing, absolutely nothing in the Flamingo plans for Loch Lomond that will benefit local businesses as all facilities will be in-house and on-site, but the LA will have to spend a fortune building the infrastructure required to support it….if indeed it will be possible. That part of the Leven has its own problems without creating more.

Shouting ‘we want Independence and we want it now’ are well-meant words, but without action they mean nothing.

I can totally identify with this guy!!! Writing or blogging is not always about the need to write so many words…..but the words you use!

When I used to speak from a pulpit I was an expert at the 8-10min sermon!

There are times when epistles are necessary and in-depth facts are required, and I applaud those who can do that and hold people’s attention….I just like to chat and get to the point with a bit of humour added.

Norway discovered oil at the same time as we did, yet they thrive both personally and nationally….but Scotland grovels for the pennies as Westminster continues to squander all that flows South.

Scotland has to account for every penny it spends….anyone seen Westminster accounts….ever?

No one is ever held accountable.

Liz Truss blew billions in a few short weeks, we are now picking up the tab….are you really happy with all this?

No money to help with energy bills but £9b for another bridge across the Thames….crisis….what crisis? The only crisis is the one here in Scotland and we had better lift our heads out of the sand and recognise it before all that is left disappears into the pockets of foreign share holders!

When they talk about ‘Public’ money never lose sight of the fact that this is your money and most of it comes from Scotland….wonder what will happen the day we pull the plug!

I read today in one of the ‘rags’!! that Westminster are about to pass a Law that will allow The Scottish Office to bypass Holyrood and finance some Local Authority projects. If memory serves me right the Tories did this under a similar scheme, but bringing into Law puts in on another level and devalues Devolution even further……what next?

The thing that worries me is how far down the slippery slope must Westminster take us before we wake up and tell Holyrood to grow some……

Swinney says he wants to work ‘constructively’ with a Government that is hell-bent on destroying everything around us and under our feet.

He is complicit in everything that is happening in Scotland.

It’s almost as if the thinking is, well if we behave they will increase our pocket money. When will the SNP realise Westminster is not our friend, they hate us and they hate us because we have everything they need to survive.

We will never get what we want until we are prepared to stand up and take it. Don’t be like Eeyore weighed down by his perception of normality.

What we have and the way we are governed in Scotland is not normal……..INDEPENDENCE IS NORMAL!

SOVEREIGNTY IS NORMAL!

There can be no doubt that over the past two terms of this SNP administration money has been wasted on vanity projects, but if it is the prospect of the SNP ruling a future Independent Scotland that puts you off voting for Indy, well I have news for you…YOU can change that with the power of Direct Democracy and a new way of governance!

A vote for any Candidate or Party at the 2026 Elections that has Sovereign Scotland on their ticket will bring about change in Scotland if enough of us do it…your decision!

There is a plan, a plan being mapped out by ordinary people who believe they are Sovereign…..and remember Westminster did agree that in Scotland, the People were Sovereign!!

The hierarchy in a new Scotland will be as it once was People first and last!

Over the past few years women have learned the power of saying NO, this is a lesson Scotland needs to learn.

No, is a very powerful word but we have been conditioned to see it as something negative, even rude!

Yet that one little word can change so much!

Can anyone remember a time when the present regime in Scotland ever said No to Westminster and actually carried it through? I have heard plenty of threats and words like, ‘Scotland won’t’ but that’s all they were, words!

The No’s became Yes as we quietly appeased our masters. How long have the SNP been playing us, as far back as 2017 maybe? Nicola loved her ‘secret’ meetings, they made her feel powerful and important. Now the people she met are financially backing the Freeports and SEZs!

When it comes to politics I don’t believe in coincidence, I believe in long-term strategies and it has become abundantly clear that for Nicola, Independence was not one of them.

So, who in the end was paying the piper and are they still paying?

We have between now and 2026 [approx 21 months] to learn how to say NO and say it with some authority!

First, we start making it plain to Holyrood that things are about to change for them and not in a good way.

Holyrood as an arm of Westminster will become defunct and maybe even fossilized😅

We will say NO to anything that resembles the English system of Democracy and Yes to all that stands for the Sovereignty of the People and the people’s Democracy.

This change of language must start now, use the power of NO, and let our MSPs know we’ve had enough, they no longer represent our values or our dreams.

If in 2026 all Candidates who believe in Sovereignty stand on Sovereignty, [individuals can do this on the list] or join a Party that will stand on Sovereignty. This could act as a kind of representative [proxy referendum vote and it’s one we must win. Believe me when I say this is Scotland’s last chance saloon!

Westminster won’t recognise it….but others will!! By saying NO to the Holyrood system we are saying YES to Independence!

This road is not new, other new countries have trodden this path before us and won International recognition, there is reason on this earth why we can’t join them.
