Where to now?

In 2024 the people of Scotland said No to the SNP, now the country is saying No to Labour. So where does that leave us for this May’s election?

When a void arises, where do we turn to? There is a great danger here, and that is, people are so fed up that they will just stay at home and not bother voting at all.

This alliance was created to fill such a gap. The interesting thing for me about the Greens winning at Gorton and Denton was the lady who won it, is just an ordinary person…..a plumber and plasterer.

Yes, there have been some anomalies in voting patterns, but the ‘who’ they turned to was interesting.

Another takeaway from this By-Election is…..the polls got it wrong!

Liberate Scotland is made up of ordinary working people and just as Hannah Spencer defied the odds, they can too!

We don’t need corporate lackies in Holyrood, we need ordinary people with their feet on the ground. People who are more at home in a pub rather than a private club!

The ‘where to now?’ gap, has been filled by Liberate Scotland as it answered the cry of many…….for Unity!

Just as they fought to exist, they now fight for Scotland and for you. They have the energy and the determination to fight for what is right.

If ‘Hope’ can win in Gorton and Denton……it can win in Scotland!

PS.

Remember the above was a By-Election, and By Elections are often used as a protest vote!!

May is the real deal!!

The world is shaking….

The world is shaking and my stomach feels the vibrations.

This situation could go many ways, the one that scares me most is, that the Chinese vessel defending Iran with its high-tech defence shield, is itself attacked by the USA or Israel. Heaven help us all if that happens.

How has Starmer reacted to all of this? Under the pretence of defending Britains assets he already has planes in the sky. Unfortunately in that statement he also added to ‘and to protect our allies’. That means we are actively involved in this war. Should he not have gone to Parliament first? But then he has ‘previous’ when it comes to doing his own thing!

It appears a number of our neighbours have wiser leaders!

There are no winners in war, only enlarged egos. But you can always bet on one thing, the reason given for going to war in the first place, is always the first lie!

Every country has the right to defend itself, but please tell me, has Iran ever threatened to invade the USA?

USA is there because Israel demanded it should be!

So, how many MPs and MSPs belong to the Friends of Israel lobby group and how much have they been paid to be part of it? Politicians do not become millionaires because of their wages!!

We are edging nearer WW111, not because of a worthy cause, but because of power and greed.

It appears Starmer is just another Blair.

We never learn do we?

But, we in Scotland have no say anyway. I bet Swinney wasnt even be asked for his opinion. For how much longer are we going to accept this as normal?

A future Scottish constitution should not allow foreign military on our soil.

There is nothing normal about being recognised as a Sovereign Country yet governed by another. There is nothing normal about having all your assets stolen and being helpless to stop it.

We are helpless because we have chosen to be so, and we will continue to be so until we have the guts to kick the Devolutionists out.

Now is the time for Passive Protest, just let’s stop cooperating with Westminster.

It’s time to put the rebels into Holyrood.

A win for the People….

So, the ‘Bonnie Bonnie Banks’ will remain ‘Bonnie’! A huge win for the People.

People power at its best, and what was done here can be replicated throughout Scotland, if we have a mind to!

The wisdom is in choosing our battles, and there’s plenty to choose from.

155.000 people said NO, and the Scottish Government backed off!!

Battle number 1 will be on May 7th of this year and the propaganda war has already started.

I saw this just recently…..

My answer….

The first picture invites you to believe the battle is already over! The second one invites you to believe the battle has just begun!!

Defeat is not in loosing, it’s in not even trying!

The battle for Loch Lomond was long and hard, but we won and that same spirit can win again! We cannot allow big businesses to take over our land anymore.

Liberate Scotland is here because they refused to give up, they were flexible enough to change tactics when blockades were put up. This is the kind of spirit we need only lots more of it.

Our vote is our chance to say, enough is enough. No more huge wind farms, no battery storage facilities and no AI centres. The last two of those are on a par with Nuclear sites when it comes to conservation.

May, is not just a fight between two political parties… it’s a fight for Scotland and its infrastructure.

If we keep the status quo in Holyrood, the Scotland you know today will soon not exist.

We have seen what we can accomplish when we worked together to save Loch Lomond, now let’s SAVE SCOTLAND!

Make winning a habit.

Lent…….!

If Lent is a time for reflection, then in my book, so are forthcoming elections!

We all know what we want but perhaps now is the time to look back for a short period and ask ourselves a Q or two!

Have my past choices, delivered?

If not, then the second Q is, what can I do differently this time around?

Take your time, there is no rush, the election is not until the 7th May.

You have choices, many of them.

How you will vote will depend on your personal priorities. My number one priority is eventual Independence. Therefore it will be for a Party that is walking alongside the Decolonisation route.

Your priority might be different, but there is one question we must all ask ourselves, and that is. Will an English-based party put Scotlands needs first and foremost?

Think also about who runs governments these days. Is it our elected representatives or worldwide corporations? If it is money that makes the world go around, where is that money coming from?

The only thing that motivates large companies is, profits! They don’t make money for us, they make it out of us!

Between Westminster and Holyrood our energy prices could almost be halved but the deals that have been made have only tightened the noose around our necks.

ISDS, the noose around our necks!

So, when it comes to voting, look around and shop for the best deal for you and for Scotland. Scrutinise manifestos instead of just choosing what looks like a good deal in the media.

Discuss what you want with your friends over a pint or a coffee, because the next couple of months matter more than you think. We either start the change now or we put back Scotlands destiny by at least a decade.

This was an interesting vote on Monday, and even more interesting, was the outcome.

Interesting, but not surprising!

The other day I wrote about Direct Democracy. A number of european countries who practice DD have ‘Recall’ written within its DNA!

I suppose the Q is, why do the SNP and Greens oppose it?

This brings me back to what is wrong with the Parliamentary Democracy system……..they prefer to police themselves!

That is never a good idea!

They say, ‘Who Dares, wins’ ….well if that is true…..who of you dares to vote for real change, the kind that will turn Scottish politics upside down?

This is where it starts, with a handshake!

Until we learn to shake hands with our fellow travellers, all of our efforts will fall to nothing.

Some talk about the egos of others, but fail to see their own. I’m sure there’s a verse in the Bible about that😂😂!

Their words betray them, the minute they argue over the ownership of words or work done, the egos rise!

Yes, I understand the laws of copyright etc but surely we are all trying to aim for the same goal for Scotland……so do we have to be so precious about what we have said or done?

If someone uses our words, just be happy that they mean something to someone, and in that, we have done our bit!

Where there have been ‘fallouts’ let there be ‘fallins’!! We have to work together.

Liberate Scotland is the place where three very different groups of people have had to learn to work together. They will have different manifestos but they are single minded and focused on Independence, and that’s what matters for now.

The ‘hows and whats’ can come later; let’s work together now, to get people into Holyrood who really do want Independence.

It’s never too late to shake hands and start again!

Turning the pyramid upside down…

If ever it needed to happen, it is now!

But what does that mean in everyday life?

Well, first it means we have to be prepared to change the system to one that works for us, the people.

I am fed up with going to the polling station every 5yrs to vote for something I think I’m going to get…..but never do!

I am also fed up of the fact that there is nothing I can do about it!

But I am glad that I belong to a Party that believes there is a solution to this dilemma!

Independence for Scotland Party.

Direct Democracy is one of the standing stones of ISP.

So, what is Direct Democracy, first let me say DD is only one of the many kinds of democracy throughout the world. And in saying that, democracy is not always what we think it is. Having a free vote is only one small aspect!

In this country we have what is called Parliamentary Democracy…..does it work for us?

A parliamentary democracy is a representative system where the executive branch (prime minister and cabinet) derives its democratic mandate from, and is accountable to, the legislature (parliament). It features a fusion of powers, where the government is drawn from the legislature and must maintain its confidence.

In short, we vote for MPs, usually belonging to a Party and they form a government for 5 years. Our vote gives them a democratic mandate to govern the country for a set time.

Just one example!

Secondly, let me say there are a number of different types of Direct Democracy. But that is not a negative! It gives countries who are thinking of change to do a bit of ‘mixing & matching’!! In other words, create a system unequally suited to their needs.

Direct democracy or pure democracy is a form of democracy in which the electorate directly decides on policy initiatives, without elected representatives as proxies, as opposed to the representative democracy model which occurs in the majority of established democracies.

Today, I have only given an overview of both types. Just something to mull over.

If we believe that we the People are sovereign, it is important we have a system where that works!

The future starts today!

Time to burst the Bubble…

Westminster likes to keep Scotland in a ‘bubble’. A bubble that denies us the truth and I may add, also tries to hide the truth from others internationally.

The fact is, Scotland is a Sovereign Territorial Nation and recognised internationally as such because we still have a Crown. What we fail to recognise is, the power behind the statement, ‘The People are Sovereign’.

We fail to recognise it because that power is rarely used, but here is the thing, when it has been used, it has been successfully used!!

Do not underestimate the power of the Claim of Right and add to that the power of still having a Crown, [even though it is not sitting on anyone’s head!!]. These two things together give us more power than we think we have. The problem is, the powers that be, in Scotland only bring them out of the toolbox when it suits their own agenda.

The last time this happened was a national consultation on Fracking! We said NO in 2017 and Westminster backed off without so much as a whimper!!

[ 2017, that is 9yrs since they last used the powers available!!]

There are a lot of things within that bubble that we need to learn about, but right now our question should be, why do those we send to Holyrood not use the tools they have more often?

Why, for instance are we not using them to fight these huge windfarms, battery parks and AI centers?

There can only be one answer, they are Unionists at heart, and the gravy train is too lucrative. The lobbyists have plenty of cash in their pockets!

The rot may have set in, but it hasn’t taken over completely……… yet!

We can start to change all of this in May!

This weekend has shown how rapidly things can change within Scottish politics, but we should not let it deter us from our main objective, which is, to become an independent country once again.

Unity is still the answer, and unity will get us across the line!

Let’s face it…..

The fuel of politics is, corruption. But here’s the question……do we even care anymore?

Corruption is endemic at every level of Politics, and I may add, in nearly every other institution as well. Everything is about money and power and WE, yes, WE have allowed it to become so.

It has become so normalised, that when a new Party pops up demanding truth and integrity returns to politics, no-one is quite sure how to react. You can almost hear the sound of silence and disbelief!!

Yet, out of that same silence is the clamour for change.

Well, change has come and now it’s up to us!

We either accept the change offered and change our voting habits or we vote for continuity, bringing with it more corruption.

Who ends up paying for all this corruption……we do, through our taxes, both nationally and locally.

Don’t complain about your Council Tax increases if you are not prepared to fix the root cause!

If we want change……we must change!

…….and that will require a little effort on our part.

Do not underestimate the importance of this coming election. We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to start changing everything, from our Constitutional standing to ensuring the safety of the 52% of us women who will be voting in May.

Many say they are not interested in politics, but get this……without the right politicians, there will be no change! You cannot have it both ways. We all have our individual responsibilities in this fight for freedom and it’s time to step up to them.

Are we locked in a spiral of silent complicity?

If, and I say ‘if’ the Polls are correct and the SNP are heading for another victory, we are either in agreement with their policies and fiscal spending or we are paralysed by the fear of change.

There is of course the possibility of another explanation for these polls. Are these polls genuine or are they a way of selling a particular product? In this case that product would be the SNP!

Who, exactly do they target when asking the questions? Have you ever been approached?

If you apply to appear on TV live discussions, do you get a form of the ‘Spanish Inquisition’ before they say yes or no? They say ‘its for balance’……I have yet to see a balanced audience!

It’s almost as if we are being forced into silence!

Even X and FB control the algorithms.

Everything that is described as freedom of speech is now controlled.

The only way to unlock the silence is to speak to people on a one-to-one basis.

As for ‘fear’. What have we got to fear? At best, the change put forward by LS, can only improve our lives……at worst, the status quo will remain.

…… and remember LS supports the Decolonisation route and the other groups who are building the foundation blocks. They are not a Lone Star outfit; they have fingers in many pies, and their candidates are well known and respected within the YES movement, with not a whiff of impropriety!

……..now there’s a novelty!

A noticeable omission!

Has anyone else noticed how Liberate Scotland is always omitted from the online polls?

One would almost be forgiven for thinking people don’t want a Unity Party…….but they do!

……and there lies the problem, people want Unity but Parties do not, which suits Westminster down to the ground!

Unity, terrifies politicians, especially those south of the border. It’s time to stop caring what Westminster wants or likes.

Personally, I don’t think Starmer cares whether we end up with a Labour government or SNP! For him, the Union? would be safe with either.

The only people who can change the status quo, is US!

As we get nearer to May, the policy leaflets are going start tripping us up. Remember anything that sounds too good to be true, should be treated with great caution. This election is definitely a case for remembering past undelivered promises.

English Parties are never the answer.

Then, neither are these people who ask perfectly normal questions but with the wrong motive!

Nobody has ever denied there will be costs involved in setting up a self-governing country. But once the taps are turned off to Westminster and reparations demanded, things will balance out. Every country in the world borrows money and I think our credit rating will be pretty high!!!

Fear, is not something we need to entertain going forward. We have the resources, we have the people. We just need to make sure we have the right people!

If there is a whiff of corruption in any political party, hold them at arm’s length. Because, by voting for them, you are saying that corruption is normal and it’s okay…… it’s NOT!

So, let’s promote the people who are promoting Scotland and Independence.

The anti-corruption brigade!!
