The 7Billion Lie!

The Afghan resettlement fiasco!

I am not sure which angers me most, the fact that they did it, the super injunction, the cost or the fact that they did’nt even tell Parliament!

Probably all four, because the deceit is off the scale and throws democracy out of the window.

I am well aware of the timing and who was in power, but Labour colluded by remaining silent….not sure why they have now chosen to release the story. Maybe to distract?

This story throws up a lot of questions but the important one for me is, why was due process dumped?

What is Parliament for if it is not to scrutinise major decisions that may have an impact on the citizens of this country?

Even a top Judge was silenced when he tried to stop the super injunction!

When a large Party has so much power, democracy is the first casualty. This is exactly why we must change the system in Scotland.

Dare I even ask if the three Devolved FMs knew anything about this, they are members of the Privy Council after all.

7 Billion! And they have the cheek to say ‘we’ are living beyond our means!

Fear and apathy are Westminster’s favourite tools but we have a new toolbox, it’s called Liberate Scotland, and the Unionist trolls are raging.

Loyalty is a two-way thing, so my Q today is….has your party left you? Are its objectives the same as they were when you joined? Are the leaders of your Party even listening to you?

If not, then maybe it’s time to make some personal changes. I remember when I left a particular church, friends said, ‘Stay and help us change things from within’. Well, guess what? That was 30 years ago. They are still there, and nothing has changed, but I have!

Liberate Scotland might be new, but these folks who have had the courage to unite are not. They are ‘old school’ and well seasoned in Scottish Politics.

…..and they can smell a rat-trap a mile off 😂…..especially home-grown ones!

Take a leap for freedom today!

Maybe…..maybe not!

Conceivably it could be Corbyn going in…..anything can happen in politics!

However, by that time hopefully Scotland will be on another journey, one that will finally take us to freedom.

The one thing we must not do is mistake silence for stagnation!

The media may choose to remain silent, but we don’t have to and Liberate Scotland certainly won’t.

The silent majority are rising up, even those within the stand-alone parties! Many are already offering their support to help campaign in next years Election.

For many the penny has dropped, we are not ‘too poor’ or ‘too small’ but we have been asleep for far too long! We allowed ourselves to be lulled into a false sense of security by believeing those we elected into Holyrood would do their stuff……but they didn’t and they won’t!

Scotland isn’t poor, it’s obedient, we have a Scottish Government that believes in serfdom to a foreign King.

They say Devolution brings its own rewards, well just wait and see what happens when Westminster decides that unemployed school leavers must join the Army!! The youngsters of today are not like the youngsters of 40 years ago! They are a completely different breed who will not hesitate to tell the goverment where to go……!

There is a double problem in this country: Too many people believe the politicians, and too many politicians believe that large conglomerates are the answer. Neither seems to do their homework.…The result, we have a Chancellor bouncing all over the place.

We give far too much power to politicians, which is why the system must change, and it is within our power to do just that.

If you want change……you must be the change.

Actions speak louder than words….it’s now or never!

Act, don’t react!

Alarm bells signify impending danger and have been sounding all over Scotland for some time, with the Freeport and SEZ infestation!

A tiny ray of hope has appeared from south of the Border.

…..any help is better than no help!

Both Reeves and Forbes are in ‘any port in a storm’ mode as they react to global economics rather than respond.….and there is a difference!

Reeves has the wealth of Scotland in her hands….note those words….wealth of Scotland, for the time being anyway.

We are in debt, not because we have no wealth but because of Westminster policies. Prime Minister after Prime Minister appear to prefer to become globetrotters rather than be fiscally prudent. It’s almost as if they are trying to buy popularity.

Then when they do decide to pull in their horns, guess who pays.…..we do!

It’s our fault!

Well, I think it’s time to lay the blame on the people causing the problem, especially here in Scotland. Yes, our governing Party have over the years accomplished many good things, but, and there’s always a but…..the money they have wasted on spurious policies leading to court cases has been shocking, and their still at it!

They have yet to learn that you cannot defend the indefensible!

If we are serious about change, then it begins here!

Don’t cry ‘we want Independence’, if you’re not willing to rise up and take it.

Don’t blame others for failing if you’re not willing to roll up your own sleeves.

The Parties that make up Liberate Scotland see the problems we face, and they also see the answer…Independence!

There are many parts to this jigsaw and your vote is one of them!

On Saturday, one part of this group will be out and about on Buchanan St. Glasgow. If you are in town pop by for a chat and learn more about what’s happening.

No Country should be owned by another….

For those who are unaware of this the UK is NOT a country.

The term UK ( United Kingdom) is but a trading name……a strapline!

Why?

Because the two Crowns were never united, they couldn’t be, there was no mechanism to do so because the two, [Scottish & English Crowns] represent different things. One being the People & Land, the other a Monarch.

Put simply, in Scotland the People are Sovereign, in England it a King or Queen who is Sovereign.

Just because someone stood up and said, we now have a United Kingdom and made a new Crown to fit the occasion did not make it so!

Remember in those days there was no internet or media of any kind which meant nobody had any idea, let alone any say about what was happening apart from a few Nobles paid with English coinage!

It is now 2025 and the lie is still in situ with no one in government questioning it, not even the Scottish Goverment.

But let us go back a few hundred years and see how this even happened. In the 1600s England as a trading nation was not very popular….oh how history has a habit of repeating itself!!

Scotland on the other hand was very popular and traded with many countries.

Step forward the bullies as they always do, so England sent an army to the Borders and a naval fleet up the Clyde and the Forth with a few demands…..the main one being a Trade Agreement….result….the birth of the so-called United Kingdom.

Flash forward a couple of years or so and we see how the strapline United Kingdom became much more as the power creep began.

Scotland as a nation in its own right was gone, if not on a map certainly in power or relvelence as far as Wesminster was concerned.

This may be an over simplification of what happened, and my apologies to Sara for doing so, but you get the picture!

2026, next year, is the year to start the re-alinement of Scotland into its rightful place amongst other nations, free to trade independently as is our right to do so.

No more Scottish exports going through English ports so that they can claim all the taxes…..no more bad actors from Scotland aiding and abetting this theft.

The polls tell us support for Independence is on the rise, but polls will get us nowhere unless we can harness the numbers to become active.

To do that we need an ‘event’! One that will capture the imagination of the People again.

Join us in that work…

Just saying you want Independence does not make you an activist.

When I was discharged from hospital with my new knee, I was given a booklet showing me the exercises I needed to do to regain my mobility. Just reading it did not bring any result, I had to get up and do them!!

To gain our Independence we need to DO, not just read about it.

Like it or not, we are owned by Westminster and therefore England!

You may work for a Scottish company, but Westminster owns you!

Liberate Scotland has been formed to help free us. They support the Liberation/Salvo initiative at the UN. They also support the other organisations in building our new foundations.

Independence will not happen on day 1 after the election!

Phase 2 will begin that day and that plan depends on the EU’s declaration.

Everyone is moving forward expecting the declaration to be a positive one…….’moving forward’ being the operative words. We have never been so far along this road before…. We will not give up now!

Join us on this exciting adventure to Liberate Scotland.

Where are the Journalists?

In a world where billionaires own newspapers and other media good journalists are hard to find. They are supposed to record the facts, not the editors’ or owners’ spin!

Spin distorts!

Spin it and you kill it!

Fortunately for us Social Media still has good journalists, but for how long?

E.g. of bad journalism….’FBI says there is no Epstein client list’. Good journalism asks, then why is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison for trafficking?

People are not stupid, they can smell a lie a mile away!

Having said that, we do see some weird stuff on X. The other day someone put this statement up regarding the floods in Texas. ‘Why is God still punishing us when we have Donald Trump as President’?……I’ll just leave that there!!

It appears our Home Secretary is determined to end free speech. The Bill they said would never be used to curb free speech…..is now curbing free speech.

We should be used to ‘spin’ in Scotland, they’ve used it for hundreds of years, and even taught in schools.

But thanks to Salvo it’s all unravelling, and a very different picture has emerged, and once seen, can never be forgotten!

If mainstream journalists won’t write the story then we must, or at very least speak about it.

Scots love a good tale, and we have one to tell them, with a pint in hand if necessary! Yeah, I’ve been known to drink a pint or two 😂

The idea behind Liberate Scotland has taken off, it seems people like the idea of Parties working together for once. It certainly shows where their priorities lie.

For all three it is….

INDEPENDENCE. NOTHING ELSE. NOTHING LESS.

The ‘how’ is still a work in progress…..but it is progressing, and the important questions will be answered. No one is being led up a blind alley, but getting it right must be the priority.

But hey, the sun is shining and folks are stepping back a little R & R, so will I…..but not completely! Having lunch with the boss on Monday will either be a wind-up or a wind-down😂😂😂…with maybe a couple of beers added!!

Join the gang @…….

The slow death of democracy…

I wrote yesterday about the two-party system we have in this country, and how it forces people down a particular political path. Then I read of something even scarier when used to extreme.

In America they have the same system and they sure know how to use that power. I read of a small town in Texas which has been devastated by the floods but guess what? They cannot access any funds for recovery unless……wait for it…..they sign a card supporting Israel!

If ever there is a place where Democracy has died, it is the USA.

Could that kind of thing happen over here?

Why not?

We have a goverment who are becoming very adept at changing the rules to suit its objective. They also love to rewrite history…but then we know that don’t we?

Hansard is supposed to be a legal record of what is said in Parliament. But now even that can be changed on almost a weekly basis.

What next…..editing official media coverage?

Democracy dies when voters cannot access the information they need to make informed decisions.

Democracy dies when large conglomerates are allowed to take over large swathes of land, build fences and make their laws within those fences. They become mini countries where secrets abound.

Openness is a democratic virtue.

Direct Democracy is about transparency which is miles away from what we have now.

Direct Democracy does not force anyone down any particular path.

Direct Democracy does not coerce anyone to do anything.

The parties that have signed up to Liberate Scotland also hold those beliefs.

The polls show there is an appetite for Independence but at ground level few activists feel inclined to activate😴

Of course, the summer holidays are upon us, so we must make September become lift-off time!

Now is the time for forming stratergies and timetables. There is a battle to be won and we must make sure that come May 7th next year we are ready to take our place at the top table. Not just take our place but be in a position of strength.

Starmer has plans for Scotland but not the ones we hope for. He cannot afford to let the world see Scotland outperforming England in any arena, so we must be closed down. Grangemouth was just the start!

We need to pull together to save what is left of Scotland and it will take all of us to do it.

Don’t wake up on May 8th and say.….’ if only’.

Wake up and say….’ YES WE DID IT’.

The 2 Party system we need to change!

The two-party system has dominated politics for too long. [Conservatives & Labour] Although in Scotland it is slightly different there are still Parties who because of their size manage to manipulate the system to their own advantage.

I say ‘manage’ perhaps the word should now be ‘managed’…..past tense!

When membership drops, so does the ability to maneuver the system.

There are pros and cons to a 2 Party system, Those in favour will cite things like, it allows fewer extremists to enter goverment, it can speed up governance and it simplifies things.

On the other side of the coin is, it eliminates the idea of having 100% representation and forces people into fixed ideas, polarising voters.

Individuality ceases to exist.

Well, if it’s convenience over people…..give me people every day!

Q. What do you want to change?

….and do you want it enough to help make it happen?

I ask the second question because it seems that many people expect others to do everything for them. If I am correct in that assumption, then change is going to take a long time to come…if ever!

Liberate Scotland is the place where change can happen, but the power behind it is, people.

You are the tiger in the tank!

Before the 2014 Referendum, the YES movement became extremely energised, we need that energy again.

The name Liberate changes nothing, they are the same people fighting for the same thing we did in 2014, Independence!

2026 can kick-start something different but you have to want it first, then make it happen by voting for it.

We must stop voting for something we don’t want and start voting for what we do want….Independence!

And it has started with this trio…

These are the Parties that answered your call for Unity, these are the Parties that have put Scotland first above any personal interest.

It is time to put an end to self-perpetuating politics and build a system unique to Scotland.

The Power to do that lies within the hands of each of us, so don’t ask ‘what can I do about it’, because you are the only catalyst that can make the change.

Liberate Scotland is the vehicle but you must jump on board.

If I am not mistaken, Liberate Scotland now has 21 Candidates standing in the 2026 Holyrood Elections……this is big and it’s still growing.

These people deserve your support! They are becoming Scotland’s reluctant heroes.

I say ‘reluctant’ because becoming an MSP is not their first career choice, far from it. They are standing because no one else will stand up for our Country…..the present crop at Holyrood has failed spectacularly!

Make that step for Scotland today!

When trust is lost…all is lost!

Our trust in politicians is broken, both north and south of the border.

So, what is the answer for Scotland moving forward?

I ask that because like it or not we will always need Politicians, and like it or not good people elevated to any position of authority can become open to corruption.

We cannot change human nature but we can change the way we deal with those who succumb to any type of corruption and we won’t be following Labours footprint. Starmer has become proficient when it comes to changing laws to favour lawbreakers.….and in my book any politician who makes false promises to get votes, is a law-breaker!

Now, when people protest against murder, genocide or corruption, suddenly they become lawbreakers! Free speech is dead, democracy is dead.…..but never forgotten!

Next year we can change all that by voting for a new system and a new kind of government. If it can happen in a country like Kosovo with few natural resources then it can happen in Scotland with all our wealth.

All it takes is the commitment to make it happen and that commitment has to be by the people. Politics will come back into play afterwards, this time with a wee caveat called “Recall”….do as your telt or your oot!!

2026 starts here and now!

Now is the time for preparation for the 2026 Holyrood Election. Now is the time for members from all Indy Parties to lay down their swords and work together. We only have one enemy and that is Westminster!

If you don’t get that the battle is lost before it has begun!

It is time to reconnect with your natural Indy family.

It is time to bring trust back into our lives. The group of people leading Liberate Scotland have made the decision to trust each other.

Barriers have been overcome by focusing on one thing, the most important thing…..Independence and we can see how effective this trust has become.

The question we should be asking people is not, which Party do you support? But which country do you support?

It really has come to something when a Scottish Labour MP chooses to help close Grangemouth in favour of one in Lincolnshire.

Very soon stalls and even maybe Hubs will be setting up over the country, places where you can help or just come for a chat.

Remember action speaks louder than words……ACT NOW FOR SCOTLAND!

Size matters….?

Party politics has become a strange creature.

The larger parties believe they have a monopoly on all things political.

The word ‘monopoly’ means to have exclusive control, and believing that, they wield their control over us…..and don’t they just!

Their arrogance allows them to do whatever they like, manifestos blow away in the wind, as reality hits us in the face.

How does this happen? Well in Westminster size matters, the more MPs you have the more power you have. And the one thing they hate is new Parties springing up!

Reform has the Tories rattled, lets see what Corbyns new party will do to Labour. Get your popcorn out, this will be fascinating to watch.

I note that this new Party will after all run in next year’s Scottish Election and guess what, Corbyn hates, Freeports and SEZs!

I do agree it won’t alter Westminster’s stance on Scottish Independence but, we are not ready to demand that yet. In the meantime, Labour still has 4 years to run and if the Labour party splits we could see many more U-turns as panic sets in. The knock-on effect could work in favour for many individuals.

But that’s just my opinion and I don’t intend to fall out with anyone who disagrees with me 😂😂

As a democrat I don’t believe small parties split anything except people’s egos. On the contrary, they bring choice.

Maybe that’s what the bigger parties don’t want us to have….choice.

Because it might take away their monopoly.

But, choice we in Scotland now have thanks to Liberate Scotland. We can choose to stand alone or work together for the betterment of Scotland.

Something very special happens when a country unites. Apart from the practical side, there is this general uplifting feeling.

People start smiling again as hope rises.

But a word of advice for the keyboard warriors, don’t get sucked into arguements with unionist trolls. They don’t want debate they just want to demoralise you. Your energy is best spent elsewhere!

I had one yesterday. I put up a comment regarding the Orange marches in Glagow.

This was his reply….

I did reply😂 by laughing and thanking him for taking the time to look at my bio!….[which he must have done to give that particular reply.] There has been silence since!!

Liberate Scotland has caught the imagination of many and we need to keep the numbers up. Over the next few months you will see stalls popping up all over Scotland.

The ISP are part of the Liberate Scotland group, they saw the need for unity, they listened and responded as did I4I and Sovereignty.

United we stand for Scotland and its People…and its people who matter!

You matter to us!

Now we know, it can be done….

In the realm of politics, Unity doesn’t count for much. The closest you get is supporting another party with a vote. But up here in Scotland something different is happening and it’s big!……. the cat is well and truly out of the bag, and the Unionist trolls are bricking it!!

Liberate Scotland is made up of independent thinkers, they are individuals who will not be confined by any box.

Why, becasue everything else has failed!

It’s called problem solving and Westminster is the problem we are all having to deal with.

There is one thing however that we are all bad at, we have a habit of saying ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’. Well if there is one thing I have learned this year it is this—we don’t all get a tomorrow.

So, who is up for the challenge, who will join Liberate Scotland in standing up for Scotland?

Because if you don’t, the fight is already over.

The countdown to the 7th May 2026 has started and you know how quickly time passes.

The main parties are already on an Election footing. They may have the money, but do they have the people?

It has just been announced that Jeremy Corbyn’s new Party will after all be contesting some of the seats at next year’s election. I can think of a few who won’t be happy. There will be several Labour hats on shoogly pegs!!

There was a day when ‘members’ equated to votes but now they can be very fickle. Many no longer wish to join a Party, but they do ‘follow’ and the numbers for Liberate Scotland are up, when it comes to voting intentions.

  • the total number of people registered at December 2023 to vote in Scottish Parliamentary and local government elections was 4,241,800, a decrease of nearly 2,000 (0.05%) compared with December 2022;

We have work to do!

We must find ways of getting people to engage again, find the spark of 2014.

We have the toolbox in Liberate Scotland and we will need every tool in that box if we are to re-ignite the flame.

Your passion is needed now more than ever!

Liberate Scotland only has 1 policy…..yes just 1.

The most important one….Liberate Scotland! [Independence]

To understand that, you have to understand how LS works, so please look it up…..
