When Leaders lose their voice, they….

When Leaders lose their voice, they cease to be Leaders. 48hrs in, and still Starmer has refused to condemn Trump’s actions. Somebody said yesterday in his defence that ‘diplomacy is delicate’!?!

My interpretation of that is, we are terrified of upsetting the Trump machine.

However, up here, north of Hadrian’s Wall, we are beginning to find ours! But what we don’t want, is just a lot of noise! We need to send a clear united message to Westminster…… we’re off!

We also do not want another Referendum based on Section 30! To do so would acknowledge our compliance.

May is just the start of the journey. I am no expert on Constitutional matters, but I do know it’s a long process.

What we need going forward is a Holyrood full of honest brokers. This automatically rules out English-based Party MSPs!….. sadly there are also some Scottish ones hiding beneath the cloak of Independence…….the devolutionists!

How’s this for showing your true colours?!

Devolution was a chain not a gift!

But these are not the only weevils in the Independence pantry. And, slowly but surely, over the next few months, we will see how destructive they can become. They poison everything they touch but do so in a way they hope no one will notice! Snide comments are their speciality.

So, who are the honest brokers, you may ask. Well, for me, it is this lot!

[This is only a few of them!]

….and I choose my friends carefully😅

They are amongst the many voices [ I include other Indy Parties here] who speak up honestly for Scotland.

Every voice is important and those voices will be needed on May 7th.

The SNP might be refusing to make it a Plebiscite Election but there will be those taking note and counting the vote for Independence, and that is what now matters.

We must get the Independence momentum going again, irrespective of Party.

My choice is to do it through the group that believes in Unity…….what is yours?

The disappearance of TRUTH…

When you own government starts to deliberately block the truth, then you know that we now live in a dictatorship not a democracy.

And you know it’s time to go!

The hangovers have gone, so let’s now look at REALITY.

  1. The rich are getting richer, whilst poverty increases.
  2. We have a PM who is deliberately causing division with his two-tier policies.
  3. The war mongers are coming for our kids, waving false flags.
  4. Democracy is dead, even the EC says cancelling Elections is illegal.
  5. Private colgomerates now own our country, and that includes Scotland.
  6. Privatisation doubles costs as well as profits!
  7. Our own MSPs have been willing collaborators in all of this.
  8. WE STOP THIS NOW OR NOT AT ALL!

The game ends when one team stops playing, make this year, the year we stop playing!

In May we can start a new game, Scotlands game, and we do so by making sure the majority of bums sitting in Holyrood are hell bent on achieving Independence. It will be a long game, one where we work together and not step on each other’s toes. It really is not a good look to drop bombs on another’s work. The first rule being we follow and support the Decolonisation route. The second rule, we prepare the groundwork for that to happen.

We must turn our fear into a fight, because never before has the word freedom meant so much. Freedom of speech has gone, and freedom of thought will be next! Welcome to the world of AI!!

But first things first..

There is a process…… and wishful thinking is not part of it!

Join the ‘heavy lifters’!

We stand at a crossroads…..

Throughout history, there have been pivotal moments when nations have had to make momentous decisions. I feel now is one of them.

We have been led to believe it would be Russia that would bring us to this point, but now all eyes are looking west! Who is next? We ask ourselves, will it be Greenland?

It is in times like this that we look to our own leaders for a response, but so far all we are getting is words couched in diplomacy.

You will have gathered by now, that I don’t do diplomacy! I call a spade a spade!

No matter what the circumstances were in Venezuela, Trump has carried out an act of war…..but then we’ve been here before, have we not?

Iraq! aided and abetted by a British Labour government.

Okay, so we were not directly involved this time, but Starmers response and subsequent actions will tell the story and woolly words just won’t cut it.

The Q for us here in Scotland is, do we allow ourselves to be led down Starmers road or do we redirect ourselves onto the road we are meant to be on….the road to Independence?

The actions of the USA bring more urgency to our own situation. Housed up and down Britain are US bases, not forgetting Faslane and Coulport, both linked to the US. These links automatically make us a target should any war with any country break out involving America.

Change has suddenly become imperative!

…….. but change won’t happen without Unity and Unity won’t happen until parties and people lay down their ultra egos and we begin to speak as one.

This group have started that ball rolling….

Be the next person to join the revolution and bring real change to Scotland.

Don’t say you want change if…….

Demanding change, then not voting for it is like demanding Independence then voting No!

We are either ‘in’ or ‘out’; there is no halfway unless, of course, you are still undecided.

This is the year to change Scotlands story. This is the year when the word

‘Plebiscite’ replaces the word ‘Referendum’…..and if it doesn’t, then we need to make sure that the new MSPs we vote for make it so from now on.

A slight aside here! Whilst Holyrood [the parliament] is part of the establishment, the ground it sits on, is not! Scotland never ceded its land or territorial waters.

Therefore, one of the things that needs to change going forward, alongside the Decolonisation route, is preparing for a new legislative building. We need to be surgical in our separation.

This game is over!

It was a ‘con’ from the beginning. Over the next four months new ‘carrots’ will be offered up, if we fall for them, we will deserve everything we get.

One of the problems we have today is Tunnel vision when it comes to voting.

We have been conditioned to only focus in on the big parties, not what is happening at the grassroots level. We forget that in every revolution this is where it starts……with the people, not politicians.

I understand why people are sick of the kind of politics we have just now, I am. But is the answer just to sit this one out and not vote?

Who wins in that situation?….not Scotland, for sure!

Be the change you want to see, even if that means changing a habit.

A habit is just a habit, we change them all the time….maybe now is the time to look at our voting habits?

Who likes gravy?

2026 could be a good year for some MPs, as I believe a few are standing for Holyrood.

Q. How do you do two full time jobs at once?….and do them well!

A. You can’t!

Of course, it’s up to the voters as to whether this happens or not. And how we vote in May will show the world how much Independence means to us. This is why it should be a Plebiscite election.

Do we vote again for people who promised the earth, then put it all on the back burner because the status quo was more comfortable and profitable?

No ‘if’ about it….!!

Although Independence is about the country and its people, not politicians, we do need them to carry out the process after the Decolonisation ruling. This is why it is so important to put the right people in place. Not to do so will bring the whole train to a halt. Only you can keep the train moving!

Starmer has reiterated that Scotland will never be given another referendum. In doing so he reinforced the truth that we are not in an equal Union or on any other kind of parity. We are, what we are, a colony given minimal rights.

Please read that quote over and over again, and let it sink in!

…….and believe me, they do laugh at us!

Are you happy with that?

Well I know one group who are not, and they are hell bent on changing things.

Now is the time to start putting your energy into the real deal with real people. Liberate Scotland will speak for people who feel they have no voice…..why?….. because they know what it’s like to be ignored.

But LS is about much more than listening, they believe in change, big change! Changes to the system.

Independence without real change is not real Independence! In an independent Scotland, we do not need a Westminster-style copycat government; we need to think outside the box and create a governing system that works for our unique circumstances.

Each party within this group may have different ideas about this, and that is good, but that is for the future. For now, they have united around one thing and one thing only and that is getting us over the mountain to Independence.

If that is also your priority, then this is your group.

Under the same umbrella!

2026 has arrived and with it comes a huge responsibility. Only we can decide what happens here in Scotland over the next few months……and few there are, only 4.

What was your New Year’s resolution?

If it had anything to do with Independence, then there is only one umbrella to get under.

Unity will win over division every time. Throughout history, it has been left to the few to get things done!

Q. Why is there so much division amongst Yessers?

What is the cause of it and can we bridge the divide?

The way I see it, two main factors are driving this divide. First, there are those deep within the Yes movement who are really Unionists, positioned to rock the boat. I would like to say their messages are subliminal, but they are not because they are not that clever!

I am not into political psychology but many are and my ear is to the ground!!

Secondly, there are the egos! The ones who want to be ‘top dog’ or think they are entitled to be.

That sense of entitlement can come in many forms, the main one in Scotland being the expectation of constant recognition for past results… past being the operative word!!

…..add to that the ones who think they should be at the top of the greasy pole and riding the gravy train because their egos tell them so!

But the real heroes are the few who just want to get the job done, and that is no easy task. First they have to climb over that mountain of egos!

The one thing we cannot afford in Scotland is, to continue to reward failure.

A new year brings new opportunities and we must not be afraid to take them. We have nothing to lose in doing so, but everything to gain.

The ‘Hawkes’ are circling and want to take us to war once more. Do not be fooled again, this is not about defence, it is about power. It’s about rattling the rattlesnake until it bites then blaming the snake for defending itself. NATO is the problem, always has been and always will be! It has become the powerhouse of broken promises, and that is the opinion of an ex-army man!

It is time for Scotland to stand firmly on its own feet and the process starts in May.

Be part of the new journey.

Over to you!

There comes a time when the talking ends and the action starts.

No change of any kind can start until we say so. The democratic system we have is not perfect, but it’s the one we must work with…..for now!

Our voice is heard through the ballot box, that is why it is so important that our choices are the right ones for us and Scotland.

For those of us in Scotland, the first thing we must understand is, to vote for an English-based party is to vote for continuity. Whilst all parties must be registered with the Electoral Commission, [which is the English system] it is important that we recognise which parties are English and which are Scottish. Eg. there is no such thing as Scottish Labour!!

What we have to decide is, what our priority is in this Holyrood election. I cannot speak for others; only myself. This is the way I see it.

Our standard of living is decreasing, according to some we are almost back to the 80s!

So, do I listen to a party that offers me what I want to hear or do I heed the lessons of the last GE and look beyond the immediate to the place where the real answers lie……in Independence.

The latter may take a while but at least we will arrive at our destination.

I might be elderly, but I am not stupid…not yet anyway😅.

Common sense tells me to support the people who will work hard to change things.

LS has the work ethic required to make the hard decisions, the necessary decisions. They know what Scotland has and what Scotland needs.

Politicians have added a new word to their vocabulary, they don’t lie, they misspeak!

Well, here are some other words to describe ‘misspeaking’…..

…..and here’s another thing, people who genuinely misspeak, do so by accident……not design!

I am not naive enough to think we can clean up politics 100%, but we can put in a system where lies and corruption are punished and seen to be punished.

I am weary of all the lies, are you not?

We need a government in Scotland that has our backs, we need to rebuild the trust. We need politicians who will turn up every day and do their jobs. Not ones who swan off to book signings and change the rules of transparency because their feelings are hurt!!

We need a fresh start and it starts here…

So, when will change begin………..when you say so!

I am now taking a break until the New Year to relax with family and friends.

Wishing all my friends a peaceful Christmas.

Success comes through persistence…..

The 2014 referendum was not the end, it was only the beginning! It was a learning curve, one that also shook Westminster to the core. So much so, that they are not prepared to take that chance again! Even with the rigged system they almost lost.

Since then much has changed, our SNP MSPs have become too comfortable on the gravy train. Their tanks are full of gravy instead of grit!

They harp on about a Referendum being the gold standard, which may be right, but that door is firmly bolted and no amount of pleading is going to open it. This is why Plebiscite Elections were devised, to free the oppressed from the oppressor! And they are recognised worldwide.

Now is the time to be asking those awkward questions, not just of our MSPs but also ourselves.

If we want things to be better, then we must do better. We cannot just hope for change, we must be the change.

Changing a Westminster PM won’t change anything in Scotland. Starmer has proved that. We must learn the lessons of the past.

Look at the facts…

2026 must be the start of something new and that start must be in Holyrood. The electoral system in Scotland encourages smaller parties to be heard but you must give them that voice.

The voices that speak for you, the voices that are not afraid of the big boys! The voices that won’t be bullied into silence.

Success comes through persistence and this lot are very persistent believe me. They are prepared to be ‘your pain in the neck’ when it comes to righting wrongs!

Sparks will fly in Holyrood, and they need to….submission is not their game. Honesty and truth are.

Success does not end when they take their seats, that is only the beginning!

Liberate Scotlands candidates are your modern-day rebels, and if you think they can be bought like the rest of them…..well think again….some have already tried that and failed!!

They are the voice of the ordinary people, they are your voice!

You can join them and literally be a voice or you can support them with your vote.

But one thing is for sure, no matter how or who tries to knock them back……they will always come back, stronger than ever!

They are going nowhere!

Just words……..

Words are important, they hold meaning and power, and the reframing or adding onto them can change everything.

Yesterday, at PMs questions Starmer added three words to a promise made.

In an answer to the opposition leaders Q about how much energy prices had dropped, not only was the first part questionable, but he then added, “that’s on top of the £150 we’ve taken off last year for the 3m poorest families.”

Since when was the promise to reduce energy bills for the poorest families only?

Starmer is a Lawyer, so he knows the importance of words and how to use them. The adding of a word here and there can morph the whole meaning of a promise and he hopes we won’t notice!

As Prime Minister it is his job to defend the people, not act as a Prosecutor!

We are being persecuted for their choices. Choices that have been made for the benefit of the few.

We cannot let the Devolutionists in the Scottish Government kick the Independence can further down the road, because very soon that road will run out and the Scotland we know will no longer exist.

We are now in, what could referred to as ‘the last chance saloon’! By the time we come to the next GE [2029] all of the deregulated Freeports and special zones will have kicked in and there’s no going back. All these deals have been neatly wrapped up in the ISDS chains.[ the legal framework that binds all the deals, and there’s no escape!]

…..and the terrifying thing is, our SNP government knows this!

Both Starmer and Reeves seem to think that all Yessers are SNP! Well, it’s time to show them that the cause for Independence belongs to all Scots!

Holyrood could make 2026 a plebiscite election, we must pressure them to do so.

Every Yes vote must be counted as a vote for Independence, not to do so would be an act of self-harm.

Waiting is no longer an option, the Freeport virus is spreading, don’t buy into the lie of waiting until 2029!

Politics just ain’t what it used to be!

There was a time when deals and manoeuvres were made behind closed doors, not any more! With Labour, they are heralded in with much panache, even before the plan is finalised! Integrity has been replaced by reward for dishonesty

Angela Rayners comeback campaign has startedand how!

With a ringing endorsement by Starmer himself.

Politics has certainly changed since Starmer arrived, even parliament is being bypassed in some instances.

‘Two-tier’ seems to cover everything these days.

We have ‘ two-tier’ policing.

We have a two-tier justice system.

We have a ‘two-tier’ benefits system.

We have a two-tier’ OAP Tax system.

Need I go on?

All the changes that are taking place are not for us but for political expedience.

Is it any better in Scotland?

Well, I suppose that depends on how politically savvy one is. There are those who can recognise a ‘chancer’ when they see or hear one. Peter Bell eloquently wrote about one in his blog yesterday…..our FM!

I suppose the question I would ask is, when is a promise not a promise?

A promise without a plan is not really a promise, it’s just wishful thinking dressed up as a promise to get votes!

For a plan to have any credence, there has to be a starting point and an ending.

The bit in between has to be flexible enough to move with the other variables that may happen. That is why we need people in Holyrood who are both focused and flexible.

Liberate Scotland is made up of such people.

No one knows for certain what the outcome of the Decolonisation route will be. Yes, it’s looking positive and yes the response from other countries is also refreshing but we will have to wait for the details before XY&Z can be put in place. So maybe we need to look at various ways of moving forward, not just one!

I am pretty sure that within Liberation Scotlands three groups, each will have an idea of how to move forward with others, and at this point all are viable….from democracy to currency!!

Independence does not belong to any one party, the dream belongs to everyone. But we need people to make it happen.

Determined people, not ones who will bow their heads or knees! When our FM bows to Charles, he is acknowledging Charles’s sovereignty not ours!

A group of determined people!

You cannot say the People are Sovereign then bow to a foreign King.

Liberate Scotland has been created to start putting a lot of wrongs right!
