Slowly but surely the Salvo train is nearing its destination. The destination being a statement saying Scotland has the right to seek self-determination. But what happens here in Scotland is also important. There can not be a political void, where no party is in place to take the consequences forward.
True independence parties need to start thinking about where they stand on issues like UDI and Direct Democracy, because many believe that’s the road we will have to take.
A statement by the UN is only a statement until a political party runs with it. The SNP won’t so somebody must fill the space, and now is the time to step up and be counted. If you’re up for UDI backed by the UN, say so and make the relevant policy stating it.
I truly believe people are waiting for a party to lead them toward independence, one with a map.
The map is there…the foundations are being prepared…where is the party?
Now is the time to let your light shine!
Clear, unambiguous statements are needed.
Is it time to topple egos off their pedestals?
Is it time to not just think the impossible, but to actually do the impossible and replace the SNP?
There is no doubt any party taking this forward will need an event at some point to show the will of the people. This would be democracy at work, but that party must be in place first… It’s all about the process. Just because Westminster tends to skip processes doesn’t mean we have to!

I thought we had a party when we had the best in ATLS with the likes of Alan, Colette, Loyd, Eva, & others in ALBA like Kenny, Neale, & others & many more, yet even they could not agree, & where was the transparency when behind the scenes deals were being made? There is also one helluva clever man who does a lot of work and research on Scotlands cause, but he can’t abide the smaller parties that came together in ATLS..It has to be his way or the highway..
It has been said many times, Scot’s are their own worst enemy, that gets proven time after time. What we really need is a VOICE a modern Jimmy Reid type, who can get out there & speak TO all of the people on behalf of the people.. A pied piper who can bring together every Scottish Nationalist/Patriot. And form a party from those he/she persuaded & convinced it is the right thing to do when it comes to INDEPENDENCE for Scotland..
SNP are finished they know it as much as those of us who supported and built that party for 50+ decades…Taking it all the way to Government. We need to go back to the days when a van with a foghorn went through the streets letting people know REAL change I can happen it is among us, we just have to bring them together, sitting at home hosting podcasts is not getting to the people we need to convince AGAIN, writing fantastic blogs that are only read by people who actually want to read what is happening in their own country. does not attract enough interest.
The marches & Rallies allowed people to hear from people convinced Independence was the right thing for Scotland, & just as we built a party up & got it into government, that WAS because of a man with a VOICE, a marmite man they say, that convinced enough of us to put our faith in him, and vote for the party he led.. And we did and stayed true to his promise of giving Scots the chance to choose. But he agreed to terms that were not right for us, anyone and there dug got to vote, so long as they had a house in Scotland even a holiday home..
Scotland will NEVER win a referendum granted to us by the English Parliament, they also broke the Purdah rules and NOTHING was said or done about that. He at least has proved that a S30 is not something that will benefit Scotland, Only the clowns that tried to jail him, still talk about getting a S30.
So yes, we have to start over again, but small Indy parties have been trying for the past 12yrs and got nowhere, that is because MOST people do not know of them, never see them, and certainly never hear them.. Every movement needs a Leader with a voice.. I have a lot of respect for those that have been trying, but all of them need to sort their issues out and start working together again, that is the only way we will achieve getting the CRÈME DE LA CRÈME that we are going to need if we are to get a party that is by the people & always for the people..

Like you, I believe the ‘snp’ with that HIERARCHY and non-existing, standing up to FOREIGN English Colonialist Gov/Monarchy/Establishment, has killed the once-great SNP Party.
There MUST BE out there among WE who desperately want RESTORED to WE Sovereign Scots, OUR Rightful Sovereignty and Independence, a figure like Jimmy Reid.
A man who didn’t seek false praise or limelight.
A man, resolute in his desire to LIBERATE SCOTLAND, NO ASKING INVOLVED!
An honest man, who can galvanise, encourage and enthuse Scots, as did he.
Not forgetting also, that Alex Salmond did all that up to and including the 2010 so-called Referendum.
He made mistakes, but he nearly took us all the way.
There MUST be Scots, strong, intelligent, honest, passionate in intention to deliver Scotland back to WE Sovereign Scots.
We’ve given to many chances to these shameless and shameless chancers, who are continually betraying us, because they DON’T want Independence.
They’d settle for SUPPOSED ‘a few extra irrelevant powers, which can be easily removed or trampled, as easily as the FOREIGN SHYSTERS ‘loan them to us’.
WE WANT BACK OUR WHOLE TABLE OF WEALTH and RESOURCES, for the benefit of Scotland and WE Sovereign Scots.
He or she is out there, with a resolute passion for Scotland that will not be hidden or lessened.
They haven’t identified themselves amongst the ‘snp’, so we MUST find him/her OUTWITH the Party, built by stalwarts, sold-out by traitors, who were hiding in plain sight, until Alex Salmond stood aside!
We did not know then, that was the beginning of the end, when the waiting Neoliberals ‘biding their time’, took over the Party!
Since then, loyalty has been one-way and foolishly, they’ve got away with it, THUS FAR!
Now though, we MUST look forward and find that Scot amongst us, that Jimmy/Alex, whomever he or she may be.
There’s passion in amongst those of ALS and those we haven’t seen for a long time (Lloyd etc) who are greatly missed.
When we find ‘our person’ and they show themselves to be who/what we need, our support will be there.
Loyalty is a two-way street of giving, when earned.
