As our daily dose of smoke & mirrors [propaganda ] is served up to us on numerous fronts I am reminded of magic mirrors.

Usually mirrors project more or less a true image….thats why we hate them, especially the full-length ones😅

Magic mirrors on the other hand distort everything….sound familiar!!

Propaganda is biased by its very nature, governments use it to promote their agenda trying to make it more palatable, but then they announce something else which turns everything before on its head…..there is no consistency or even fairness.

Talk about making Policy on the hoof…..this Labour horse is galloping!

Westminster has form when it comes to breaking promises and it ranges from Policies right up to Treaties.

The so-called ‘Treaty of the Union’ was broken before the ink had even dried, so why are we still here, shackled to Westminster?

A broken treaty is broken and can’t be fixed, so it is null & void…..it no longer exists!

For so long we never knew this, everything was hidden in the vaults but now those doors have opened…..and a light has shone on the truth.

Yet only Salvo/Liberation plus one other Party are prepared to take on the challenge…..our Politicians are too fearful and glued to their well-paid jobs to do anything. The settling up became settling down….and I am being gracious with my words!!

Every contract ever made with Scotland, with us the People has been broken…..so let’s do something about it.

Let’s be the people who break through the system and go to a higher court.

I have no doubt at all that in the end Westminster will withdraw from every Treaty they signed with the UN in order to keep us in our place but it won’t matter if they do, because we will have International Law on our side.

Scotland will have the world-wide recognition it needs to go forward as an independent Sovereign Nation.

We have the people in place to do this and the other foundations are being prepared, so there is no blind ally before us.

This is a real plan and you can be part of it.

You may not hear it or see it but within the grassroots groups and Parties it is still beating.

….. and every time Westminster sticks the knife in that heartbeat gets louder!

Some knives are visible others are more subtle like Freeports & SEZs and it is those subtle almost unseen ones that will kill Scotland’s industries and communities off.

Our government in Holyrood is in the business of ‘rolling over’, instead of putting up a fight or a the very least objecting to Freeports we have Kate Forbes writing letters saying how she is looking forward to future co-operation!

So it is now up to us as individuals to send a clear message …..

…..and we start in 2026.

… During this election, I will become an Octogenarian but believe me when I say I will neither roll over or shut up!

Every week more and more stories appear in the press warning of Freeport dangers and with more Unions determined to fight for workers’ rights, this is not going away!

Sadly though because of Deregulation, it’s not only workers who will lose out but everyone living within their boundaries. As LA income decreases one of two things will happen, either services will be cut or Council Tax will rise at an extortionate rate.

I feel a time is soon coming when poverty will bring people onto the streets…. angry people!

But we in Scotland have a way out, a way that gives us back Power, individual Power!

Modern countries like Denmark and Switzerland do things differently, the latter have just held a referendum to increase their Pensions!…..how does that sound to you?

This is not a pipe dream, its a plan in the working!

We have a once-in-a-lifetime chance at a new start, let’s be bold and take it….. thanks to Salvo we can deal with the Freeports later whilst continuing to educate people of the pitfalls and there are numerous.

In the lure of cash, they didn’t see the hook.

When it comes to fighting for Independence or against Freeports there is no line of ‘least resistance’, it’s hard graft all the way.

There are those, especially in Holyrood who have taken the line of least resistance. They just roll over when it comes to taking orders from Westminster, submission being the name of the game.

We must change this in 2026!

…..and it will be down to us, the People to do it.

We cannot continue with a system whereby Politicians once elected can renege on all their manifesto promises and then make the most vulnerable in society pay for their mistakes.

Did anybody ever read the word ‘Freeport’ in any Manifesto…..no…..it was hidden behind the word ‘investment’!

Maybe this was partly our fault, we weren’t paying enough attention, or we didn’t ask the right questions….a lesson for 2026!

If the present system doesn’t allow us to hold out MSPs or MPs to account after an election we must do so during an election and we need to plan for that now!

But I emphasize the need for system change going forward.

We must stop being sheep and become Shepherds…..leaders!

There is within each of us the potential to be more than we are, we just need to trust ourselves and in the message we have.

Liberation has within its ranks more leaders than Holyrood has in its entirety, just ordinary folk with a passion for Scotland, … You can become another one!

We know the change we need and we must be that change.

It is time to put our walking boots on and head for the Hague!

Remember this game? Well, it’s back only with a new name….Freeports!

…..only this time it’s not a game it’s a game-changer!

All of us will become participants in this game whether we like it or not because the fallout will affect everyone who lives within a Freeport or SEZ area. Nothing will change overnight but like the ‘trickle-down’ scenario of the economy sooner than later we will witness a change in our Council services.

When the Finance Minister talks about ‘Investing’ in Scotland’s future she is talking about Privatisation!

We don’t acquire the assets, foreign corporations do!

The problem with investing in Freeports etc is, in Scotland as in England they are Deregulated! So the Government puts money in…..but do we get any of the profits? Does any LA even have any control over what takes place within those boundaries?

The simple answer is No!

Add to that the incentives of tax breaks and lower business tariffs = minus not plus income for your local Council for up to 25 years.

Where are the plusses in these investments?

A few low-paid insecure jobs maybe, a few houses….who gets the rent if indeed they are rentable…the private land lord!

So there is no generating income in the real sense of the word, but as Edinburgh Council has belatedly found out just a rise in their contributions!

We need to wise up and read behind the glossy headlines. Ask your Councillors what they know!…..probably very little because this game is being played out in the dark corridors of government!

Scotland must stop playing the Freeport game.

Do not believe those who say the road is closed, don’t even believe those who say ‘its closed for now’……..because it isn’t!

The Power of choice is still there, it has always been there we were just offered the wrong one! Our so-called Referendum was not a choice, it was never meant to be, it was fixed from day one. No rules, no exit polls, no recounts. Why was this ever acceptable?

This would never happen now because so many of us have become ‘politically savvy’!

We know all about the snakes and who they are! We also know which ladders to climb and how to read a room!

The Power of choice is upon us once again.

Do we accept or reject the premise that Scotland and its People are Sovereign or do we wait to see what our Politicians are going to dream up next?

The second option may take some time, about 25 years because our MSPs have shifted their priorities, they now prefer to sell Scotland through Freeports etc than fight for its Independence.

The rhetoric is still there but the plan is missing!…..and a plan without action is just a speech!

Scotland’s Sovereignty is a fact, a provable fact and it is that fact that will lead us to Independence!

Thousands of us have chosen to believe that fact and Liberation is the movement actively moving it forward to the ICJ.

The choice is yours……choose wisely because we will all have to live with the consequences….as we are with the last GE!

Yesterday a new foot/cycle bridge between Govan & Partick opened to the public, bringing the two communities closer together.

What amazed me was the crowds that turned out to celebrate a bridge…..and boy how they partied well into the evening.

My mind wandered on….as it does!

I wondered how we will celebrate when an independent Sovereign Scotland opens the bridge linking itself to the world again!

No more M1..

That bridge is already in the making and the first span is about to be permanently anchored in the Hague.

The Liberation Movement, the Peoples Movement is the first span of that bridge!

We have been told ‘it’s impossible’… but we will show them that all things are possible with an army of determined people!

The day is soon coming when we will party like we have never partied before…..and all are welcome.

Sometimes we get so bogged down with so many questions that we don’t take the time to stand back and see any of the answers!

We become so focused on just one part of the problem we fail to see the bigger picture.

Problems are not permanent barriers, they can and are overcome by one’s resolve to solve them and to do that we have to be more creative in our thinking.

Westminster is the problem, the ICJ is the answer! It really is as simple as that.

…..and progress on that front is being made!

Scotland is waking up to the scandal of Freeport’s, we are also wakening up to the fact that things could be so different with Direct Democracy.

There is an open road before us, yes it may have a few hurdles but they are not insurmountable.

Liberation is the place where the impossible becomes possible!

As individuals and as a country our future possibilities will become endless.

Just believe in yourself and in Scotland.

The strange thing about our ruling Party is, they refuse to take the road they know is open.

To them, the word ‘Sovereignty’ is just a slogan.

A word to be spoken but not a Power to be used!

Liberation are using the word with all its Power!

Until now we had to depended on our MPs and MSPs to get us across the line, now we know they won’t!

Would you walk away still hoping they would use your money wisely even though the past proves otherwise….or

Would you use the power, the key in your hands to open the door and take control?

Each one of us holds the key to Scotland’s future, we just need to find the right door. The Referendum door has changed the lock and been re-enforced by Freeports!

The new door is called Sovereignty and only we the PEOPLE who are the key holders can open it and help unlock Scotland’s assets for Scotland and ourselves.

A complete change of system, (governance) will bring your priorities to the fore. Your priorities will determine Scotland’s future….your priorities, not Westminster or even Holyrood!

It’s called Direct Democracy!

Scotland, and in particular the Yes groups need to start and get a grip on reality.

If you were waiting for proof that Freeports and SEZs are the new evil then what is happening or going to happen in Edinburgh is your proof.

Some of us older folks won’t be around to see the final decimation but at last the Edinburgh Council has seen the writing on the wall. Can they stop it……no!

But there is a glimmer of hope, Salvo did send written warnings to these corporations that their deals were illegal under Scottish Constitutional Law and that Law still stands!

What we need now is more of us to stand behind Salvo and Liberation to recognize our Sovereignty in the European Courts.

The path is there, the movement is there but it would be better if all who believe in Independence were to join the only game plan left that is both radical and legal.

Every voice brings with it the Power of the People who are Sovereign in Scotland.

The Sovereignty of the People can not be transferred to another!

It doesn’t matter how Westminster interprets Sovereignty what matters is how the Hague interprets it!

Recent history shows that Sovereignty above all else wins Independence for a country’s Indigenous people.

To understand the Power each of us holds in our hands we must understand our history which is not the history we learned at school!!

Having learned it, [see Salvo ] use it!

What happened to local jobs for local people?

Wake up Scotland, you have been sold a ‘pup’ and as it grows it will strip Scotland of its assets and your Local Services!

Lower or free taxes for corporations means only one thing for you and me, a reduction in our vital Council Services or we have to plug the gap in funding……not them…US!

So when your Council Tax leaps up next year don’t think it’s just about government funding, look at the loss of revenue because of Freeports & SEZs.

These cumulative tax breaks are not re-invested into the local communities they go straight into the pockets of shareholders’ and the good people of Edinburgh will pay handsomely for the privilege.

The headings on all the glossy brochures sounded so grand, the saviours of the Scottish economy had arrived but the reality will be so different and this nightmare is only beginning.

Only one thing can halt this virus of greed and that is ‘system change’ at the very top. A new type of governance away from Westminster…why?

….because the rot started there with the new ideology of Libertarianism. Cut the root and we may just have a chance to change our course.
