Is Scotland becoming a racist Country?

Sometimes difficult conversations are needed and with the rise of Reform both North and South of the Border maybe now is an appropriate time.

So, are we becoming a racist country and if so what has changed to make it thus?

We have always been proud of the fact that we welcome all to this land, irrespective of colour or creed and the majority of us still feel the same way, thankfully. But we cannot escape the reality that we are seeing changes, particularly with the rise of Reform.

Will these changes be permanent or are people just making a protest….they want change and see Reform as the only option on the table because the other two have morphed into one!

It is also a fact that governments and media bear much responsibility for the change of perception towards those who turn to us for help.

Wars produce refugees, and mis-information or lack of information produces fear and suspicion.

When we feel threatened by anything we turn on each other or in this case the weakest amongst us. The media feed us with lies or half-truths on a daily basis, and the government never explains the ‘whys’!

So we are left with the false perception of ‘they get everything’ when the truth is it’s only the bare minimum.

The system is choked, not by people but by bureaucracy. We, here in Scotland need workers, the vast majority of immigrants want to work, the blockage in the system is not their fault.

The Chancellor is demanding cuts in every department, these kinds of demands will simply exasperate the situation and increase the unrest.

One does have to wonder what Labour’s long-term objectives are, but we need to be careful that we don’t walk into the trap of blaming the less fortunate for the sins of the government.

Scotland needs to be free to steer her own ship and create a land where all are welcome and all are encouraged to build it.

The answer in my opinion to my question

‘Is Scotland a racist country’, …..no it is not…… but beware because soon the Scotland we know will no longer exist. Freeports etc will make sure of that and within those Freeports comes the possibility of a two-tier workforce within Scotland.

Be careful what you wish for!

Join the ones who know what they want and will fight for it.

In your own hands be it…….

When Politicians fail us there is only one recourse left, do it yourself…..

Now is such a time!

Our Politicians are blinkered, seeing only the Westminster route. This is no accident, the perception has always been that the answer lay south of the border and that one day our ‘benefactors’ would open the cage.

Of course, they would say they did that when we had the Referendum but we chose to stay shackled.

Did we?

Facts and figures coming to light since would suggest otherwise. We cannot change what happened but we can learn from it……if we want to!

It suits our Scottish Politicians to have single vision and play the Westminster game where the goalposts continually move and sometimes the ScotGov even helps that move!

Kier Starmer loves to make long speeches where the truth or lies get lost in the words.

My blogs are short, and this is why!!

He also hides behind all things ‘legal’, but I wonder if he has read the Claim of Rights. It would appear not, which is strange as he must know Scottish Law is still in force in Scotland. He may of course presume that all their wee Acts now supersede the Cof R but they don’t!

Action requires courage and we will see next year if we have it.

I predict a hung Parliament which is no bad thing, and I see an opportunity where most see gloom even with the rise of Reform.

The opportunity to create the beginnings of something new is within our gift.

By using the List system we can change the balance…..even be the balance. Just stop and think about that for a moment!!

What has happened at Grangemouth should be a warning to us all that Privatisation is not our friend but our enemy. They are hostile takeovers aided and abetted by Holyrood.

If rumours are correct Rachel from accounts may be going back to accounts, but another face will make no difference. They have set their course and we must set ours!

We are Sovereign!

Lets make that change!

Gold standard in Politics…..

Is there such a thing in Politics?

I suppose the obvious answer is no, but is there a system that aspires to it?

Yes, there is……and it’s called Direct Democracy.

We have a problem and it has to do with Democracy or at least the kind of Democracy we have…..and we live with its consequences every day.

During an Election, we choose someone to represent us, and there lies the problem. I need not remind you what has happened since last years GE.

How well have our representatives represented us? How well have the kept their promises?…….they haven’t have they?

So, what can we do about it?…..nothing!

We must wait for over 4 years, and the way Labour are going it could be more. In the short few months they have been in power the damage from Pensioners to Farmers has been unrelenting.

But 2026 is just around the corner and we hold all the aces!

Within Direct Democracy there is a wee thing called ‘Popular re-call.’

In practice, this means if our Representatives fail to fulfil our wishes we can recall them and sack them!……. how’s that for a dream?

We can have this, if we want it. But I would caution you, there are those who want Independence/Liberation but don’t want Direct Democracy they want what we have now, Parliamentary Democracy.

Do we want Westminster Mk11? Can we not aspire to something better?

2026 could be the springboard for that change.

Liberation is about Direct Democracy, it’s about us, the people not career Politicians.

No more, ‘not a penny more’ which suddenly changes to over-inflation council tax rises. No more, ‘we will stop the energy cap rises’ which changes to ‘oh it’s the markets’!

The only way to stop the lies is to change the system.

Are you up for it?

The future has arrived…..

https://kentandsurreybylines.co.uk/politics/local-government/kent-and-medway-join-the-devolution-revolution/?feed_id=256&_unique_id=679f2670d573d

Why am I writing about an event in England you may ask, because it is an indication of where this Labour government is taking us and Scotland is not immune.

Make no mistake Westminster, irrespective of which Party is in charge has plans for Scotland in the long term. Thanks to Ms Forbes and their Freeports/SEZs and City Deals they already have one huge foot in the door.

The Political map may not be changing but who is in charge of our land is!

The slow creep of corporate power over local democracy exists under this web of secret deals with foreign conglomerates.

The one and only Unitary Authority in Scotland failed [Strathclyde] but that does not mean a new breed won’t spring up again.

The Devolution revolution is upon us and in one way or another we will feel its impact.

Why is it so hard to learn from our past mistakes? Why do we keep believing the lies? Is it because we believe we are stuck in a rut between a rock and a hard place? The alternatives that Westminster provide are all as bad as one another so it doesn’t really matter?

On that score, you are right but surely that means we are looking in the wrong direction for the answer.

The future lies in our hands…..we are the answer to our own problems. When we get that……when the penny drops, then and only then will we see our way out.

We are in a tunnel not a grave! There is a light at the end of it but we have to walk towards it not cower down in the middle of it!

We have been presented with an opportunity and when opportunity knocks we must grab it with two hands! An opportunity to do things differently, to seek a ruling other than that of Westminster, a higher ruling.

Why would we not try this route, it goes all the way to the Hague?

Is Scotlands objective, not Sovereignty?

Notice to quit….

Donald Trump is not in my head as he appears to be with many others but I do wish our Leader in Scotland had the same courage to make the big statements, the ones that bring people to their feet, the ones that make people feel positive.

Positive about our country and its future.

Trump knows a thing or two when it comes to publicity, he doesn’t just say ‘I will’ ….as in sometime in the future…..he signs the relevant documents in front of everyone there and then, and the press loves it.

But then I suppose that is harder to do when you are batting for both sides!

The art of illusion is well-practised within politics, take the statement by the PM on the optics surrounding the Southport tragedies. Somehow he managed to skirt around the issue by talking about the Law!

He forgot that facts about previous incidents were reported the same day, but the interesting thing was nobody picked up on it! It’s as if the press are only allowed to go so far and no further…..but then we know that don’t we?

Is it not about time ‘honest John’ handed Westminster their notice? Is it not time he gave us something to cheer about?

Yes, it is, but he won’t because he has nothing to give!…..and long-term plans to ask again are not going to cut it with the voters in 2026!

Referendums are like old clapped-out cars, they need to be ditched and replaced by a ‘smart car’! A new model, efficient and equipped with the latest gadgets.

….and one has been built and will hit the market soon!

A new model, built on Scottish Law.

The makers……Liberation!

History will not reflect well upon us should we get this wrong.

We see what we want to see…..

We see what we want to see, nothing more, nothing less!

Our perception of everything is biased by what we crave for and whether or not our cravings are met.

An angry person will not see as clearly as one who is cool and objective.

There are those within the Independence movement who want us to see us angry and go to great lengths to stir things up. They know that if our anger is targeted at one another our eyes will be off the real problem and thus the solution.

…..and the nearer we get to our solutions, and objectives the more egos we see.

“Bad actors” will always be amongst us, some are put there deliberately others through their egos…but they are here and they seek only to divide us.

Being the optimist that I am, I could say that this is a good sign because it means we are succeeding in our mission and have become a thorn in the flesh of others!

Good structures within any organization or Party can deal with these people. Don’t give them oxygen😅 Don’t press the ‘repost/ share’ or like button!!!, especially when these posts are directed at a person or trying to resurrect old scores!

We are better than this and we have a job that needs doing.

Salvo is bringing people together and together we can be a powerful force for good.

Don’t let others spoil the party!

The problems with DIY…

Everything comes flat packed these days, even lamp shades and as we have learned Pianos!

When it comes to assembling something, instructions are important…unless they’re in Chinese!! Miss a step or end up with a few extra nuts & bolts and disaster could be imminent. So as a bare minimum a little knowledge goes a long way.

Several groups are working to build the foundations of what we hope will be a future Scotland and they know their stuff, but there are also a few who don’t!

Individuals who hash together a miss mash of ideas which when put together don’t actually fit, or as someone said ‘as clear as mud’!

This makes the situation more complicated than necessary.

So, why do it?

Is it because they genuinely think everyone else is missing a trick or are they on an ego trip……maybe a mix of both?

Either way, caution is required as not everyone who says they are your friend…..is your friend!….especially in Politics.

So, who is the ‘real deal’? I ask because there is some confusion as more and more so-called experts keep popping up.

Is it the person who uses material from other groups or the groups who dig for the truth and publish their findings in the first place?

Think I will stick with the latter!!

I prefer grafters to grifters!!

…… And this lot are the grafters! Salvo and Liberation.scot and I take my hat off to the research team!

We need more grafters if we are to save Scotland from being taken over by foreign conglomerates. People who sit in a board room in another country rubbing their hands with glee as the profits roll in.

We are past using the word caution, we are now on red alert because Freeports and SEZs are here, sucking the life out of Local Authorities and closing paths and walkways on what was once free-to-roam land which by the way will be the least of our problems.

…..and don’t think for one minute that they will give up on Loch Lomond because your government…..yes your goverment has given Flamingo Land the right to appeal for their plans, in spite of the 55000 objections.

So, we need more hands on deck, more grafters, we need you…..are you there for Scotland?

If so, this is the place you sign up…..

There is more than one way to……

There are always other ways of going about things, and this particular ‘cat’ is out of the bag!

Thanks to Salvo we have been shown that there is indeed another way. Does it come with a 100% guarantee…..no, nothing ever does.

But please tell me, is not our duty to our country to try every avenue that opens up to us. The Liberation route is Legal, it is viable and it is time for Scotland to plough its own furrow.

Over the past 400 years, Westminster has ripped up the rules when it comes to honouring agreements. In many ways, this makes our task easier because their callus high-handed ways have not endeared them to the European Union. And committees don’t like being lied to.

When opportunity knocks.…..you answer!

Scotland cannot afford to wait any longer because corporate governance is our new enemy and it has already breached Hadrian’s Wall!

The question I always end up asking myself is, why do we not put experienced people in the right government jobs?

Examples: not personal attacks!

Kate Forbes is in charge of the Economy but her expertise is History?

Neil Gray is in charge of Health but his degree was in Politics and Journalism!

Is not reasonable that an economist should be in charge of business and economy and a medical professional be in charge of Health? Would that not be common sense?

But then common sense and Politics are not natural bedfellows.

Having said that I suppose south of the border we do have ‘Rachel from accounts’ in charge of the money!!

Getting back to that ‘cat’ the one that needs to be skinned!

The tools we now seek to use through Liberation are not new, they have been hanging around in limbo for an eternity, it was just that no one realised their potential until Sara Salyers came along and started digging!

Never underestimate women when they get a bee in their bonnet!

Using these tools is but another way to try and skin this particular Westminster constitutional cat, there may be others but we owe to ourselves and those gone before to give it a go.

https://liberation.scot/

What do you do when the Political brain gene pool shrinks?

Just because the number of career politicians is growing does not mean the gene pool of wisdom is growing.

Letters after names do not impress me, wisdom and common sense do!

Within Scotland is a wealth of expertise in every field that would be required to govern a new Independent country.

A wealth that also includes integrity!

How much money has been spent on court cases defending poor and spurious legislation for vanity projects rather than directly supporting services?

It is the legal duty of every government to look after its own people first. We pay our taxes and we expect our governments to exercise their fiscal duties with due diligence not swan off and pay for wars and genocide in other countries to make them look good.

International relationships are important but should we sell our souls in pursuit of them?

Britain has lost its moral compass but Scotland does not have to follow suit…..we have choices……and we need to tell people what those choices are.

Not everyone is in the SM bubble, there is an untapped reservoir of thousands of disgruntled people we need to reach.

Every conversation about the cost of living, heating, NHS waiting times, benefits etc could and should lead to one about what could be in a future Liberated Scotland.

You either want it or you don’t!

You don’t need a degree to talk, you don’t need a degree to say ‘Enough is enough, I’m out of here’.

What you do need is courage! Courage to fight for yourself and your families.

…… and you can join that fight from your armchair. Just join Salvo and the Liberation movement. Their fight has already started and it’s a Legal one, not one built on promises down the road. And it doesn’t involve career politicians!

“Not one penny more…….”

Another day, another lie surfaces!

“Not a penny more on your Council Tax,” he said. Now it appears in England at least 8 councils are planning a whopping rise of between 10 and 25%, and the Deputy Leader has signed these off. I wonder what Mr Swinney has lined up for us?

Never before has it been so important to ‘follow’ the money in your own Local Authority.

Everybody is crying out for change but few want to be the change! They think their dreams will just happen.

The dream is for a Liberated Sovereign Scotland, we voted for the SNP to deliver, so Mr Swinney, can you now explain this please.

Proof if proof was needed as to who the real enemies are!

Dig deep folks and find the courage inside of you to make the change because no one else will. There will be a little turbulence to begin with before we sail into clearer waters but we will get there and that’s what matters.

There will also be a few egos to be knocked off perches….but we can do that can’t we?

This is where we need to be now….

Reflect on where we are now.

Solve the problems that stand in our way.

Create the path ahead. {The plans have already been drawn, we just need to execute them.}

Grow the momentum.

Think carefully about the kind of people we will trust to take Scotland forward.

…..we need a new breed of Politicians, we need a new system of government.

Lets make it happen.
