The lesson learned, never give up!

If ever Liberate Scotland were being tested, it was over the past 6 months.

But their dogged determination to fight for a different kind of politics won the day. I suppose one could say the experience has been a kind of training ground. Time in the lion’s den!

An exercise in learning how to deal with ‘dirty tricks’ and win!

Unity scares politicians, they prefer ‘divide and rule’.

Unity cannot be controlled by those who seek to maintain the status quo, the numbers just keep growing as people realise they need each other.

And so the jigsaw comes together.

When people and groups pull together, the establishment feels threatened. And when they feel threatened they make mistakes. Trying to shut down Liberate Scotland was a big mistake, especially by the ‘bad actors’.

Now, the light is shining on everyone. Who is the real deal and who isn’t?

The SNP on the other hand seemed to have switched the light off….

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland does not proclaim to be the only one that wants Independence, there are others like Alba, but they are the only ones promoting Unity amongst all the parties, and that is what people asked for!

Fact……

Many things have to happen before we become Independent, but the first thing is some kind of political event to ask if we want it! To make that happen we need bums on seats in Holyrood to create that event.

What do you see?

2 Oranges?

No! An orange and a tangerine!!

When it comes to political parties and their promises, it is always wise to take a closer look. Does the party really represent the people it says it does, look at their past history!

Are the promises they make jam or carrots?

Are the parties Scottish or English?

A cross between an orange and a tangerine is called a ‘tangor’. In Scotland we don’t just have Nationalists and Unionists, we have our very own crossovers, they are called Devolutionists!!!

So, please take time to look closer.

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland bring with it a new kind of politics, grown from the grassroots of Scotland.

Take a closer look.

Be careful what you wish for!

Another day, another defection! It’s getting quite boring now.

Politics has become a business, where one jumps to where the opportunities are. Loyalty? ….. forget that. No need to worry about having to make new friends when many of your pals are waiting for you!

It’s all about total control these days…..and watch out for the 15-minute towns, the brochures look flashy but there are hidden dangers. Think about the future and remember East Germany before the wall came down.

What Labour is selling as protection now, will, down the line become control. We might have delayed digital ID but it will come via the back door!

Scotland needs to start its exit now, not wait and see what happens.

With Liberate Scotland there is no need to switch parties or loyalties, you just lend your vote to Scotland!

The YES movement has many enemies, our strategy moving forward should be motivated by determination not anger, or the use of dirty tricks.

Unifying is the one strategy they hate, because numbers matter!

Why do you think the SNP didn’t want a Plebiscite Election?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am beginning to see posts saying the SNP vote is beginning to collapse. If that is the case, and I say ‘if’ then the door is widening for the smaller Independence parties.

Now is the time to think differently, now is the time to be brave. Now is the time to empty the Hollywood gravy train.

Now is the time for the Rebels to take over and I include all real Indy parties.

If we wake up on May 8th to a Unionist Holyrood, it will certainly be all change, but not the one we wanted. And don’t blame ‘vote splitting’, the chance to Unite is there……please take it.

The ‘Fake’ grass will not be very palatable!

We need to have a better understanding of the List system and how smaller parties can use it to their advantage. It’s not about ‘gaming’ the system, it’s about using a system that was meant to include smaller parties!

When the extraordinary happens in Politics.

Now and then, something quite extraordinary happens in politics, and this is one of those times.

For months the possibility of a united campaign party has been promoted, that possibility has now become a reality!

The wheels of the Electoral Commission grind slowly, but they do grind! And, as with every official government department, every “i’ must be dotted and every ‘t’ crossed before even being considered for approval.

Noone expected ‘incoming friendly fire’ but it came nonetheless.

But, in one way it proved something, it proved the tenacity of this group of ordinary people.

It proved how flexible they were in having to adapt to change, and above all it proved they were not going to be beaten in pursuit of their goal.

A rare combination in Politics today!

Now that day has come, and all the hard work and dogged determination to create something new in Scottish politics has paid off.

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland has been rubber stamped, with the stamp of approval!

They are Legal, they are up and running and it’s game on!

This is what happens when ordinary people make their dreams come true. This is no small step, because not only is it a first, but it brings with it the possibility of some seismic changes in Holyrood this year.

Unity has always been the answer, and Unity within the Independence movement even more so.

As David, from Sovereignty said, ‘we don’t have to align on everything’ but we must have ‘strategic alignment’ on Independence.

A plan is not a plan unless there are people to action it.

LS has a plan, and many are now actively considering it. We need to make this year’s Election one that counts. One where every vote for a real Independence party counts. Putting the right people in Holyrood to support the Decolonisation route and the other groups laying the foundations in the background, like the SSRG and Common Wheel etc.

These things together put Independence first.

If real Indy Parties held the balance in Holyrood, they could in theory, force a Plebiscite Election before the next GE or before 2031.

This could be our last throw at the dice for many years as global powers and privatisation creep in. Remember promises made are not always promises kept, even when those promises are made by our own MSPs!

We need MSPs who won’t be bought!…..people with integrity.

There is only one way our Dream can come true, and that is for each one of us to do our bit.

We need voices, not echoes!

Think Liberate Scotland for the change you want.

Everything is open to interpretation!

As you are aware I am very succinct when I write, this is for two reasons. I hate ‘waffle’ and I use my blog as a pointer to the truth.

I feel that all should come to their own conclusions.

I think my blog reflects what I think on many matters!

In politics Unity is rare, there may be the occasional agreement on a policy, other than that Unity is weaponised to oust another party. { your enemy is my enemy.}

Another word for Unity could be alignment.

LS…Liberate Scotland.

It is the place of agreement on a goal and the mindset to work together to form actions.

It’s called ‘grown-up’ politics.

You would be surprised at how many in Scotland don’t want to grow up and face reality. Party Politics still reigns and it will kill the Dream!

The numbers just don’t stack up. Membership is too widespread.

We are seeing in the States what happens when people don’t heed a warning….

I am not suggesting anything like this could happen this side of the pond, it is just an example of not heeding warnings as yet another execution takes place.

The warning signs for Scotland are clear, unless we start to change things, the trajectory will be downwards.

Larger wind farms and new oil are not going to benefit us one iota, the profits will flow elsewhere with some speed. The so called Union will ensure that…..it was designed to be so.

Genuine Independence Parties need to start giving people Hope!

Because without Hope, they won’t come out and vote, it really is as simple as that.

Unity can bring Hope, a People united can be the bridge that brings Hope.

As leaflets start to come through our doors proclaiming what they want, sit back and ask yourself ‘what do I want’?

What do I want for my country and myself?

Is it, another SNP promise?

Is it, more Labour promises, from a Party heavily linked to Epstein?

Is it Reform, who hopes you are racist and now with a Leader again with links to Epstein?

Or..

Will it be a genuine party, focused on Independence?

Your choice…..your vote!

Democracy!

Democracy

Maybe the heading should be, ‘you shouldn’t put a price on Democracy’, because sadly that is what is happening, and, is lack of cash just being used as an excuse?

It would appear that both in this so called UK as in the USA the governments no longer want the people to have any say…..we no longer count!

Could it happen in Scotland?

Very often the place to start looking for changes in democracy is within the political parties. When changes start to happen in membership democracy and those higher up the chain start taking over……beware of the slippery slope!

A mindset change has happened and the power grab begins.

What drives this?

I would say it is the fear of losing power. For some, it is their egos. For others, the power held, goes much higher, even outside politics. We live in a world driven by consumerism, controlled by large conglomerates, with Boardrooms making policy.

The proof……Freeports!

Westminster is not the seat of Democracy, it is a Dictatorship as far as Scotland is concerned with Holyrood acting as its branch office.

Scots Law is being ignored to appease Westminster, but Craig is on the case!!

We could start to change things in May…..if we really want to!

The Q is……Do we?

Forget the SNP bragging about getting Starmer out in 100 days, that just isn’t going to happen….. it’s a false flag.

The process will take much longer, as we are seeing with the Decolonising route. Time is irrelevant in some respects, the important thing is, that the process is moving forward!

“Moving” being the operative word!

Unity is the answer, so much so that those advocating it are being shut down on SM. So don’t forget to share everything relevant to Indy!

Governments hate it when the people wake up, and Holyrood is no different. That is why we are not getting a Plebiscite Election. Instead, we are being offered what I call ‘a chocolate road to Independence’……it melts away, once you start walking on it!!

This bridge works, it works because it is built by the people, for the people.

This means…..its your bridge!

Don’t allow the Unity movement to be silenced, keep reposting and shouting louder!!

Which direction?

People are looking for direction, the ground beneath their feet feels shaken.

It’s not only the magnetic north that has moved…..normal has moved! Nothing feels the same any more.

Labour promised change, but the change that came was unrecognisable compared with what was promised. Black holes were invented to con people, then they disappeared only to return again! Seesaw economics is now the name of Rachel’s game.

The result…..instability!

There was a time when Taxes only went up after a Budget at the beginning of the financial year.

This weekend beer went up….why this weekend? I guess the coffers are getting low!

I think she sits in her office everyday wondering what to do next to fleece us.

We do fair slightly better in Scotland, but our government is hell-bent on wasting taxpayers’ money on fighting lost causes in the courts.

I’m never quite sure what they are trying to prove.

And so, in this pivotal year, people are left in a kind of political no man’s land.

It’s hard to change a lifetime habit. Life throws up some uncomfortable lessons and one of them is ‘the old doesn’t always fit the new’. The world around us moves on and so must we.

We are witnessing the death of politics as we knew it, we must change our way of thinking to face the challenges of today.

There should be more collaboration and less confrontation.

It is time for “the Power of the Powerless.”[Carney 2026 in Davos] to rise up.

I will not apologise for supporting Liberate Scotland because I am a firm believer of Unity.

For months on SM people were pleading for unity within the Independence movement. Three parties/ groups responded…..only three! But those three are making their mark and in doing so are encountering incoming ‘friendly fire’!

So they know they are doing something right!!

They are modern day Rebels, ready to take on the establishment with one goal in mind…..to aid the road to Independence, by unblocking the drains of Holyrood!

Scotland, ahead of the game……

And

Patch and Go!

Scotland has always been ahead when it comes to innovation, both social and medical. How much more could we do if our resources were ours to use?

This is the kind of country I want to see, and we could be if we put our minds to it.

So, what is holding us back?

Is it apathy or Party before country……maybe a bit of both?

The world has moved on since we last elected MSPs to Holyrood, and if that means we to have to change our habits, then so be it. We must see things as they are, not what we wish them to be, as the Canadian PM said!

Scotland is not immune from the instability around us, therefore it is even more important that we have our say in world affairs. It is not acceptable that our FM had no knowledge, let alone any say in the recent US actions in the Atlantic and usage of our airports.

Unless we start the change now, we will get dragged into another war of false flags.

This election is much more than just the internal politics affecting us on a daily basis, it’s about cutting our ties with Westminster and their shady worldwide deals. Libertarianism is our enemy and Westminster is drowning in it!

Please do not confuse the words Libertarianism with Liberate. The former is about profits, the latter outcomes!

On the other hand, Libertarianism and Freeports do go hand in hand! Profits that will flow out of Scotland, unless we stop them.

We need to use our innovation in this election when thinking about strategy. Party first no longer fits… let’s be honest, the numbers are not there.

Leverage comes through numbers and numbers come through Unity.

If you are serious about Independence then this is the place where numbers will count.

LS stands on one platform, Independence! But those parties involved also have their own manifestos, which of course include Independence.

Look them up!

You might get a surprise!!

They say Jim Wallace looked for “common ground” when having to work with others, this is exactly what LS is doing.

Why are we so surprised?

Did nobody notice this in 2022- 2023?

A future Israel, with no Palestine!

Now we have a Peace Board, signed off by some very questionable people! Each signature pays $1b for the pleasure……I wonder what the return will be, or does it all flow into Trump’s pocket?

You may be asking what has this to do with Scotland, a lot actually. Because how we perceive and comment on global events shows a lot about us as a people and a country.

It gives a snapshot of our morality and humanity, and that is important.

We cannot be seen as being insular and uncaring about our fellow human beings.

We are not like that in Scotland.

I would imagine every political party standing in this election has a policy on Foreign Aid and Defence, even though Defence is a reserved matter.

However, having said all of that, it is also a fact that this election will focus mainly on Scotlands constitutional standing and local matters. The SNP will be hoping it will only be the latter!

We truly have a once in a lifetime chance to start the change.

Liberate Scotland is not about trying to take control, but rather influence future decisions in Holyrood. I presume that they themselves don’t have individual road maps to Independence but it is their intention to support not only the Devolution route but also the many organisations who are building the foundations for such a plan to succeed. And that is why dedicated MSPs are required.

But in the end, it’s up to you the voter.

What do you really want?

The ‘status quo’ is an illusion because nothing ever stays the same. It only gets better or worse!

In the scheme of global events, Scotland barely exists, but in our world it means everything and its future is in your hands.

Too much oxygen!

Do we give too much oxygen to stupidity?

Probably!

I can think of one man who loves all the attention he gets and come to think of it, a few people in Scotland.

We have many outstanding writers, bloggers and podcasters in Scotland, Ruth Wishart, Grouse Beater, Lesley Riddoch, Barrhead Boy and Peter Bell to name but a few. You may not agree with everything they write, but one thing you can’t deny is their love for their country… and they don’t lie!

It is these important things that underpin Liberate Scotland, a love for Scotland and honesty. [This in no way denigrates other Indy Parties]

…..I just wish they would all join us! Power lies with the People after all.

No Scottish Party can promise a quick fix for Scotlands economy, not one, if they are honest. But what LS can promise is to help Scotland step onto the road to recovery. The Devolution road will need Politicians in Holyrood who support the plan. It is important though that these Politicians remain Independent. Mergers can create what I call, political fog!

On Tuesday, at Davos, the Canadian PM said this…..

‘The power of the less powerful begins with honesty.’

Liberate Scotland stands on a platform of honesty.

As we approach The Bards birthday let us remember more of his words….

Meaning an honest man, though poor, holds true worth.

The LS Candidates looking for your vote, are not rich, but they are honest and won’t shy away from work.

I can think of a couple of MSPs who are rarely seen in Holyrood now, yet still pick up their pay cheque……from us!

I don’t call that honesty!

It’s time to change the system and stop the gravy train. I am sick of lining the pockets of Politicians who think they can swan in and out of work as they please, whilst services run dry.

Make May 26, the year we start to do things differently.

The place where business meets Politics….

The Board of Peace….owned by Trump, for life!!

If ever there was world corruption, it is here! Should Scotland be part of it? NO!

But will it?

Yes, if we remain in this so-called Union. Britain is the most subservient country in the world.

May 2026, must be the start of our journey to something different, something vibrant, taking Scotland back to the country it once was on the world stage.

Who shares this vision? Is it the Party that bends its knees to an English King or parties hell-bent on getting Independence one way or another?

It is a fact that in the end, we will have to take it, because it will never be given. Whether we do it by the Decolonisation route, UDI, or a mixture of both, I know not…..but it will happen. Even incoming ‘Friendly Fire’ won’t stop it because it is the will of the People.

It is now up to the people of Scotland to decide who they want in Holyrood to run in tandem with the Peoples movement.

HOW?

LS, the Unity tricycle.

These three want Scotland to come together as one, country before party! No-one has to abandon their party or beliefs they just need to focus as one on Independence, and work together for that.

These good folk, believe in the People of Scotland and trust them with Scotlands future. They are a new brand of politician, grown within the grassroots, fashioned by the hard knocks of life, yet determined to bring a better life for all Scots through Independence.

Rebels with a cause!

Like so many others who have gone before, Alex Salmond, Margo McDonald, and Iain Lawson.

The Dream lives on and will do so until it comes to fruition.

Scotlands new game starts now and it starts with Unity!
