If only it was that simple……

It has been a good week for everyone involved with Salvo and Liberation, we must not however rest on our laurels. We all believe the submission will be successful, that however will not be the end of the matter……it will only be the beginning!

It’s a lovely notion to carry in our heads the thought that we can just say ‘bye bye’ to Westminster and hey presto we are Independent, but the reality is the hard work starts here! In some quarters the work has already begun!

There will a process and Westminster although legally obliged to help us through the minefield…….will not!

The ‘what’ happens after the edict, is way above my pay grade and if I’m honest my intelligence. So, like everyone else, I will have to wait for the experts to lead us.

But the very fact that we will have come this far is a miracle, and down to all those dedicated people who saught out the truth and whilst doing so found some other gems.

We know how Westminster will react but what about our own SNP government…..you know the one we voted for to get us Independence!

How are they going to react?

It could be said in one sense we will have handed them a ‘get out of jail card’….will it be too hot for them to handle or will we see a second miracle where they work with us instead of against us?

By the end of next month, we will have the answer to this very thorny question of ‘are we…….’

This will make the next 14 months very interesting, we will see a clear divide between the real Yessers and the pretend ones! There is no doubt that having the Scotgov on our side would make things easier but since when has anything been ‘easy’ for us or Scotland?…. Have they got the courage or are they so deeply anglicised that fear will take over?

Should they choose to ignore any ruling I guess the possibilities around next year’s Election will be more important than ever before. Because of the List system, there will be seats up for grabs and we must make sure those who truly believe in Liberation and Direct Democracy grab them!!

We must stand under one umbrella……a united force!

I guess the name of the umbrella has yet to be decided but once it has we must all stand under it.

This has been a game-changing week…..we now have to make that change happen!

The ‘what’ happens after the edict, is way above my pay grade and if I’m honest my intelligence. So, like everyone else, I will have to wait for the experts to lead us.

With a bit of thought, some of the likely outcomes from either a positive or negative result at the UN are discernible.

If we get a positive result the Westminster regime would undoubtedly do its best to completely ignore and rubbish the result.

If we get a negative result the Westminster regime are pretty much guaranteed to exploit it and say The Union is now formally and internationally legally recognised and that Scotland is British, a part of Great Britain and we are locked in for all time.

We might hope that a positive result at the UN would prompt those currently dominating the SNP ruling clique in the Scottish Executive to realise that the excuse for cooperating with the British States view that we are in a voluntary agreement and so we have to have the agreement of the British State to leave has been completely dismantled.

With the next scheduled major electoral event being the 2026 Scottish Elections, then obviously that must be the target for decisive planning for a concerted campaign for the people to take back their rightful representation in the Scottish Executive.

With the initiatives from Salvo, the proposed on the ground campaigning from indy4indy, and the need for a strategic focus on a common goal of making our Scottish Parliament the place that we can use to legitimately advance our independence, it seems to me that we should all be shouting out from the rooftops that WE the people need to stop being so passive!

WE need to be insisting that those leaders’ and ‘experts’ do the right thing.

Our hopes for non violent progress rest on Democratically achieving our legitimate aims.

A positive result at the UN will not change that imperative.

WE need to be represented in the Scottish Parliament by people who are determined to use their place in the Scottish Parliament to End The Union.

    Nothing else will do!

So I suggest that people who want that to happen should:

    1) Join Salvo / Liberation

    2) Sign the Manifesto For Independence petition

    3) Look into helping indy4indy in their area.

1 and 2 can be easily done from the comfort of your screen or keyboard

3 however may take a lot more time and effort!
