Someone once said to me, ‘I know you will be perfect’ My answer was, ‘I will never be perfect, I can only give you my best’!
Many people stand in the shadows because they feel others expect perfection……they don’t!
Scotland needs people to stand up and take their place in its future, all that is asked is that you bring your ‘A game’ and that is not the same as perfection. It simply means, come and join us and do what your are good at.
We all have something to give, whether it be speaking to others, organization, delivering leaflets, hospitality or just hitting the keyboard!
If the fire within you is burning for Scotland others will see the light and feel the heat!
It is only those with egos who feel they are perfect and entitled to lead. Give me a person with humility and integrity and I will follow in their shadow any day.
Egos come and go and always fall the furthest and fastest!
Egos stand on people, humble people lift their followers up!
All of Scotland’s people are sovereign, we all stand on a level playing field and we can all take our place in its history but first, we must be part of building its future.

JOAN’S JOURNEY CONTINUES 
Many people think that they have nothing to offer but they are usually wrong. Everyone is different form every other person and they have different skills and life experiences that are valuable to organisations.
We are building a people’s movement that is as inclusive as we can make it and utilising the talents available.
For example, if you would like to become involved in developing policy you don’t have to be skilled or have experience in all policies but if you have that piece of information from your lifetime of experience that is critical to the creation of a successful policy that’s what really matters and could live on to become that vitally important information that changes minds of many that are set against our self-determination and independence.
In a true people’s movement there is no hierarchy and everyone is valued for as much or as little as they bring with them.
