It appears to be the thing these days in politics, to nick parts of or whole policies from other Parties. If it shows anything it shows that Parties who do this are both lazy and void of original thought.

They scour through Policies as if they are at a Pick and Mix sweetie counter and guess what, they are doing it with The Claim of Right as well.

Even worse there are those who would seek to change the essence of it to suit their own agenda. If you change the ethos of anything originally written then you are no better than those who have broken it before, including Westminster!

Yes, the Claim of Right must be brought up to date to be woven into today’s modern Political system, it is new built upon old. Even Westminster acknowledges that ‘The People are Sovereign ‘ in Scotland even though they don’t practice it!!, neither does Holyrood!

But if we are to change the system to something built upon the Claim of Right as Salvo is doing, then we must apply its ethos as well, and by that I mean the characteristic spirit of it. No individual egos can be allowed to change it.

We the people are Sovereign not Politicians!

If we had the right of recall now, we would not be in the mess we are today.

If ever there was a year to do this, this is it!

This is the year to start changing the system. The Political system in Scotland is broken both in Government and Governance!

There is no point in trying quick fixes, even if there was a Holyrood Election and Labour won with a few new policies, we might see some small changes to begin with then it will be back to ‘same old’.

The whole system needs to change, a new kind of politics one that requires thinking outside of the box. A new vision, one where people come before politics or politicians.

And these are the steps to do it..

1. Acknowledge there is a problem within the current system of Government.

2. See the problems and name them, By naming the problems you give them a face!

3. Understand how this came about and why it came about. The Claim of Right was changed to give power to the English Monarch and Aristocracy instead of remaining with the People of Scotland.

4. Build. Be bold, the foundations are already there within the Claim of Right. Old does not always mean outdated! If something worked well for the People it is still worth building on those foundations.

5. Balance. Trying to build a modern system on the foundations of an old one can be tricky to say the least, especially when trying to replace Power from one group back to the People. There are those who don’t want to change everything!! Politicians like their power, it feeds their ego, but that’s where corruption often begins. So it is imperative to get the balance right at the start of any new system.

6. Link. The link is there, we know about it, and we’ve talked about it. The documents are there to prove its legality within the European Courts. It is of course THE CLAIM OF RIGHT.

If we can be bold enough to grasp this Thistle, even if it might not completely gel with some of our Party’s policies, we will win, and we will reach our ultimate goal. Salvo reaches beyond politics bringing Sovereignty back to the people, where we’ll all have a say.

So. our new FM is after all going to the Coronation, he who proclaims to be a Republican, no real surprise there although he could have sent a representative. His choice, following those who have gone before him.

Many who criticize him forget Alex Salmond will also be there and possibly Nicola because both are Privy Counsellors and have NOT resigned from that illustrious body, I wonder why?

So, whilst thousands of us turn out in Glasgow and Edinburgh to claim our Independence, a few who on the one hand claim to be separatists will be kneeling before King Charles 111 declaring their allegiance.

They don’t have to be there, this is a choice!

Now I don’t know about you but it kind of sticks in my throat! You can’t or shouldn’t have a foot in both camps.

If Scotland wants a King or Queen after Independence we will vote for one but that role will be very different to that of the English Monarch as will be the Scottish Government. Power will not be given to our elected representatives [MSPs] but loaned.

The recall will come back into play in line with the original, still lawful Claim of Right.

The Monarchy as we know it is outdated, too expensive and not what most Scots want anymore.

Well, the golden jar has surely broken into bits today and as the consequences spill out many will be hurting and angry. It is not my intention to mention any of the events or those who predicted them but rather to look ahead.

First it is important to remember a broken jar or indeed a broken anything can be fixed. A jar that has been put back together again will always show its cracks, its war wounds, and lessons learned. So don’t write the SNP off!

Secondly, when a jar breaks and its contents spill out, they spill out in different directions and a residue always remains in the jar.

So, be wary of those who claim to be the winners in this fallout, this is not the time to be making bold statements, people are hurting and need time to reflect on their own situations and their own next moves if any.

I have said this before and I will say it again, I do not believe Politicians will bring us Independence, the fractures between some of them are too deep. It will be the people, the people who are Sovereign, that is us, everyone of us!

There is a difference between ‘keep’ and ‘keeper’, and now we know how the First Mininster and former First Ministers have acquiesced and bought into the Lie in that they are and have been only ‘Keepers’ of one of Scotlands national treasures, The Stone of Destiny’

As you will be aware recently the ISP approached the Scottish Parliament to put up a Petition not to allow this Scottish treasure to be removed to Westminster for the Coronation of King Charles 111.

Well here’s what happened, first their official reply to the ISP Leader.

Yesterday our new FM became ‘keeper of the ‘Great Seals of Scotland’ accepting that Westminster rules over us and he will keep them safe…..not use them, only keep them safe! What an embarrassment to Scotland.

However, do not be disheartened, the grassroots are starting to crackle in the wind of change, yes change is coming as we move towards our goal.

But that change will only come about if people climb aboard the train and make it happen. That train is called The Liberation Train!

For years these two have been a toxic mix, and for years people have tried to separate them without success.

Even The Claim of Right was changed, illegally to give one religion favour over another, and look how that worked out in recent years in NI.

In the States this toxic mix plays out on a daily basis with the Right Wing Evangelicals and the Democratic Left on a number of Policies that affect the daily lives of ordinary people.

In the last few weeks, Religion became the unwanted focus in the Leader’s contest, and suddenly Presbyterianism became the ‘baddy’ even though Scotland is still seen as a Presbyterian country. As far as I know the Wee Free church is still Presbyterian!

I absolutely agree that no Leader of any country should focus their religious beliefs on their people in any way shape or form. Yet having won the contest, today we see this thrust upon us!

So, what is our new FM saying here? Is there a subliminal message?

In Scotland, in all Denominations including the Catholic Chirch numbers have fallen drastically but I still believe that somewhere deep down we hold those valves. Now I am not suggesting the Islamic Religion has no values, they have and some are even stricter. No, my point is when did one religion appear to have become more important than another?

Kate was hounded because of her beliefs but Humza wasn’t…..WHY?

Seeing this today made me even more certain that only the people, all the people of all religions can deliver Independence. The truth does lay within the Claim of Right, a level playing field where all have a say.

Over the past 300yrs or so there has been a gradual creep of power by Westminster over Scotland, it was as if Scotland were asleep.

To be fair nearly all Scots didn’t know they could stop this happening because all the documents pertaining to the Claim of Right were well hidden in another country.

Once England had dispatched all the relevant documents across the pond for safekeeping! {political speak for hidden!!} Westminster was able to interpret The Claim of Right from their own perspective or should I say in their own favour! They thought they had the right being the bigger partner, but it was illegal.

Add to that the historians who wrote the history books conveniently left out any mention of it. Some may have written about the Union from an English perspective with no detail of the truth that lay within it.

By doing that they began the slow creep of Power over Scotland. Yes there has recently been some vocal outrage but that’s about it. Gradually over the past 20yrs or so the truth has been coming out, documents uncovered, studied and a great light shone upon them.

Yet Scotland still seems to be asleep!

Our Scottish Parliamentarians occasionally use the words, ‘Claim of Right’ or ‘The people of Scotland are Sovereign ‘ a number of Unionist MPS have been heard to cry ‘here here’ but nothing changes, how come?

It’s a bit like an optical illusion, now you see it, now you don’t! The legal beadles down South use just enough language from the Claim of Right in any new Act, then add to it, to make it appear like the genuine article. This making all things illegal, look legal.

It’s all in the language!

Only those who are studying the original documents are beginning to see the lie, the fraud.

On May 6th both in Edinburgh and Glasgow there will be an opportunity to show our outrage, but we need more than people just shouting ‘Yes’ for Independence we need people to put pen to paper as it were and sign on the dotted line!!

Many Scots have recently asked why does the Scottish Government never use The Claim of Right in it’s dealings with Westminster regarding Independence, well here is your answer in black and white and it’s shocking!

In a recent letter sent to the Cabinet Minister for the Constitution, regarding the removal of The Stone of Destiny for the King’s coronation, this was his reply. I will only quote a very small part of it because the whole reply is up on Twitter!

Now we all know Westminster thinks that but for the Scottish Cabinet Minister who is part of the ruling Party to actually say that and believe that is incomprehensible.

He has publically stated that they as a Party and a government do not believe in the Legality of The Claim of Right, in other words, most, not all, within Holyrood are Unionists which

explains a hell of a lot!

He has forgotten that The Claim of Right has already been used by a Scottish Politician, Willie McRae, who used it to stop Westminster from dumping Nuclear Waste in the Galloway Hills. He was about to use it again against Thatcher’s Petroleum Act when he met his mysterious demise!

A Scottish Party who does not believe in The Claim of Right, which still stands in Law. Just think about that for a moment or two.

The proven truth is now undeniable, this is the only way out of this Union.

With all the negative hype about the Leadership contest there is a very real danger of apathy overtaking the desire for Independence.

Just like the ‘power creep’ from Westminster over Scotland, apathy can overtake the movement without many realising what’s happening in real-time.

It starts when people start to lose sight of the goal, especially when they thought the Politicians who promised the earth, fail in their mission. To them the dream is dead and they start to mourn the loss of what could have been.

Grief does that for a while, the future seems bleak, but for many of us, we know there is a future, we know there is another way and today’s ruling from the ICJ proves it and what’s more it proves beyond doubt that Salvo and in particular the Liberation.scot movement is the only way forward!

The movement is growing daily and will soon become the silent majority. It’s exciting, it’s new, people just have to open their minds.

Post Leadership race anything could happen in Politics, some will rejoice others will be hurting that’s the way these things always end up.

The hurting will need lifting up, they will be in despair about Politicians, who of us aren’t these days!

As I read through the messages on Social Media and watch the various SM Polls, I am left wondering if peoples priorities have changed.

I can understand if the Cost of Living has changed the priorities but can’t understand why the Canny Scot thinks ‘Continuity’ will change anything.

Only in an independent Scotland will our fortunes ever change, only when we take charge of our resources will the cash flow stay in Scotland.

At the moment Scotland is paying an arm and a leg for things like London Sewage replacement, the High-Speed Railway, which won’t even come to Scotland, very high connection charges to the National Grid even though we produce a high % of electricity and last but not least to the King’s coronation.

Yes, it will take time for things to balance out but by staying in the Union NOTHING will ever change.

If it’s not Finance is it apathy?

Dying of hypothermia, dying of hunger, dying on the streets in this rich country of ours, and dying waiting to get medical help.

All this will continue if we don’t get angry and at the very least try to do something about it.

We are a welcoming inclusive country but we let ourselves down by bowing down to our masters in London. There is no Political route out of this, only the Peoples’ route.
