We are all flying a flag and it is our actions or non-actions that show which one!

I see the subject of immigration is beginning to take precedence in the Scottish media. This is deliberate, anything to take us away from the discussion about Independence and cause division.

We must not let the media lead the conversation. Don’t forget who owns them. They have an agenda and it’s not ours!

There is an art in politics and we see it play out in many councils after an election. This happens when opposing parties tag onto each other to oust an overall winner in the election. Opposites, making secret deals in order to gain power. This is not Democracy.

Now, what could happen in Scotland if a new Tag Team came into being? One, not made up of opposites but of like-minded people with one goal….Independence.

A Tag Team that is coordinated and focused. Working together for you and Scotland.

A team focused on outcomes not incomes.

A team that knows that Power should reside with the People.

A team that wants to involve you every step of the way.

Now is the time to fly the Saltire and let everyone know that your heart lies in Scotland and you will not give in to Westminster anymore. Their time is up, they have overstayed their welcome.

The choice is yours, nobody can make it for you. We either start to make the changes in 2026 or we remain compliant in the biggest robbery that has ever taken place.

Donations are important, even more so if you are a major player in any election. When it comes to elections the SNP know how to splash the cash, this is not a critism, its in the nature of politics and political parties to do this.

My question is, what happens when the river runs dry?

When one is used to thinking ‘big’ how easy is it to downsize?

This is where smaller parties have the advantage, they are used to thinking smart!

Liberate Scotland knows the value of donations and the sacrifices of those who donate.

Their strapline is, ‘Outcomes not Incomes’. Those words alone show their priorities.

Money helps when it comes to campaigning, of course it does, but it should never become more important than people.

And the people we trust to spend our donations are also important.

The candidates in LS have put their personal ambitions aside to fill a gap. A gap created by a party once sworn to bring us Independence but now continually backtracks on that promise.

LS candidates may not bring big money but they do bring truth and honesty, a rare phenomenon in politics.

They support the Decolonisation route rather than the Referendum route. In other words, they recognise a closed door when they see it and won’t waste your money trying to open it.

Dancing in the park on a cold winters day, is what Scotland does best!

Apparently even budding politicians can also make the atmosphere “electrifying” when celebrating. Such was the description of the Liberate Scotland Party on Friday night.

Sadly I was not there to meet these good folk, my head objects to loud music and flashing lights these days, plus the fact of having a heavy cold. Hopefully, one day soon I will meet the ones I haven’t so far.

But to have the word ‘electrifying’ attached to such a group shows they are different and are being noticed.

Is this not what we need?

A new kind of politics, one that re-lights the spark we once had for an independent Scotland.

I see many headlines saying ‘Labour’s day of reckoning is coming’. Well, let me tell you: for the Unionists deeply embedded within some of our organisations, their day of reckoning is also coming.….. and yes, they are known.

Many things in this world can be denied, but not the will of a determined people, who will never give up.

Every dam has a weak point, and Salvo has found Westminsters and the world is taking notice. Scotlands true history has been exposed and with it shows the lies and treachery of the English Parliament.

The clock is ticking and we are edging ever nearer the year we can start to make a difference. The future is in our hands…..yes our hands!

There will be ‘carrots’ and there will be truth. We must learn the lessons of 2024 and not just jump on the easiest bandwagon being offered. The only thing that can help Scotland now is, for Scotland people to fix Scotlands problems.

I read today that Starmer is being called out out for saying, he always thinks about Scotland when making decisions……you bet he does, but not in a good way! With him it’s always about how much more there is that he can take from Scotland.

Scotland is Englands money tree!

Well, it’s time to stop the theft….Scotland never ceded its land or seas to England.

There is no ‘United Kingdom’ but there is a united team!

And it’s called Liberate Scotland, a team ready to fight with you and for you for Scotland.

A team made up of people like yourselves, who have experienced the hardships of life, a team who have decided enough is enough.

History shows that Scotland had, in the past a system that worked and worked well. Our educators were the envy of the world and a trade network that England envied. We were a great nation that stood proud on the world stage, and there is no reason why we can’t be one again.

The rebels are rising, above are some of them but there’s room for more.

This is not a rebellion to be fought out on a battlefield as of old, but a battle for the hearts and minds of a people who have had enough of domination by an English Parliament that treats us as second-class citizens.

The time for just talking about Independence is over, we are now at the business end of the discussion. We must act now

or lose everything.

As campaigns, here in Scotland start to ramp up, personal decisions must be made.

Are you in or are you out?

Are you for Independence or against it?

If you are ‘for it’ then sitting back and letting the ‘few’ do the work just doesn’t cut it anymore. To do this means the battle is over before it starts!

Everyone of us can do something!

We need to find the mojo we had pre Referendum and make the numbers + happen. We do this by voting only for parties whose life and soul is about Independence and Independence only.

Thanks to Salvo we have a route out through Decolonisation, its a long route but the train is rolling, and that is what matters. We may even have to, eventually, take PB’s route of UDI, what matters in both is the numbers!

Next May, we must show the will of the People above all else.

The thing we can not do is to keep lurching from crisis to crisis, especially man-made ones from Westminster. Every day the country just gets a little bit darker.

We need to change the optics, focus on what we can do, not what we can’t do.

Last Friday night a group of people held a party, it was said the atmosphere was electric. So, what have this group of would-be politicians found that could possibly be so ‘electifying’?

Could it be the power of people coming together in unity of purpose?

Every country that has fought and won Independence started with a group of people focused on the endgame.

These people are indeed focused…

Focused on Independence.

Focused on true Democracy.

Focused on truth.

Focused on what Scotlands People need and want.

….and when you meet such people, you feel the difference and the buzz!

So, let’s get on with the business end of Independence!

When it comes to solving problems and thinking outside of the box, some countries have it, others do not.

Many in Scotland are stuck in a box that constrains their every movement.

2025 is not 2020, the world has moved on, Scotland has moved on…..and how! We now live in a world of ‘Deregulated zones’ for a start. These are large chunks of land and cities now run by foreign conglomerates. Scotlands land owned by Scotlands People is disappearing before our eyes. Fences are going up, where once there were none. The rules within those fences are not the ones we have to abide by….. that’s what ‘deregulated’ means, one rule for them another for us. We pay taxes….theirs can be scaled down to near zero! Guess who fills the gap? ……us!

Councils won’t attribute their Council Tax rises to these, they are afraid to….but it’s happening. Add to that the huge, and I mean huge pay rises for Council senior staff. In Argyll & Bute alone the figure stands at £158000! This is not wages, it is wage rises!!

The system needs to be ripped up and a new model put in place….it was offered…..so what happened? Is this another area where the Scottish Government have run out of ideas?

We are bound by old remedies for new problems.

Scotland needs new blood in Holyrood, new thinkers…..agitators!

These people look like the kind of rebels we need and there are others willing to stand up and be counted.

They are definitely agitating some people😅😅

When it comes to ‘mind tricks’, Labour tops the table….until the truth emerges…..then its everyone for themselves!

I wonder how many hours Reeves spent last night rehearsing her excuses!

I noted one, ‘I couldn’t run a budget on a £4b+ surplus…..maybe not, but she could have admitted there was extra in the kitty, just not enough for her give away….so she invented another black hole…. well why not, the first one worked well?

In Scotland, Holyrood has to balance the books, we never see Treasury accounts. We are meant to believe everything the government says. However, this time it appears the lies have been so big that the OBR have had to step in.

The big question is, did she and her boss try to manipulate the markets? My understanding is, that would have been unlawful, unlike just lying to us!!

You see, that’s my problem with today’s politicians, lying has become a political art and they do it with impunity!

As long as we have a system where our politicians can lie to us without consequences, we have a democracy that does not work.

In Scotland when it comes to writing constitutions and deciding what kind of Democracy we want, the important thing is, that it is the people who choose. There are many kinds, and some ‘hybrids’!! Whatever is chosen, I hope it includes ‘recall’!!

One thing is for sure, just as we cannot run our lives on lies, we cannot run a country on lies. It’s like trying to run a car on dodgy fuel, at some point it will break down with no AA to tow it away.

We can work with truth, but not lies.

Liberate Scotland is made up of people who are prepared to challenge the lies, particularly the one that says we are an equal partner in a Union…. we are neither equal nor in a Union…..and if you cannot grasp that…we are lost.

These people and more have a grip on the truth.

….and they will use it to bring down the lies.

2026 is the year we need to hold our SNP government’s feet to the fire. We need to know why they are shying away from a legal plebiscite election.

Either they are ‘feart’ or they have dropped the ball and are not ready for what might follow……or, are they just Devolutionists?

Either way, these people will not……

Political parties either move on or they die!

There’s history and there’s history! For years now the SNP have lived on their past history of making good decisions….and yes, many were good! But that was a few years back, and no party no matter how good they were can continue to ride those memories.

Politics is a moving bus and the Labour one is about to crash. There are lies and there are lies, and Reeves has just invented a new level.

This however offers Scotland an opportunity, the old two horse race between the SNP & Labour will vanish. But what about Reform you may ask…..well, what about them?

What exactly do they offer?

Controlled immigration? Be very careful what you wish for on that one…. Because what you mean by ‘control’ may be far removed from their plans, which may reach back several generations! Add to that the end of the NHS, the end of welfare and possibly the OA pension. Reform comes with one agenda and one only……Privatisation!

But Reform is not the only new Political Party, there is also Your Party. It appears though that ‘Your Party’ is turning out not to be every ones party, with even the Deputy Leader refusing to attend its inaugural conference.

On the other hand, north of the border, Unity reigns and this lot partied well into the wee hours. No pouts, just laughter and a few glasses in hands!

A determined band of people who believe in Scotlands potential and that of all Scots.

Scotlands potential is under Westminsters lock and key.

…..and until we unlock Box 1 we cannot unlock Box 2.

One unlocks the other, but our SNP government is refusing to use the keys they have in their hands. A Plebiscite Election would act as a replacement Referendum……the one Westminster won’t give us.

We need to ask why that key is not being used.

Your persistent questions and demands of your MSPs could unlock the boxes……..failing that, these people will!

They work hard and play hard with one purpose: to break the stalemate.Their campaign is financed by the people, for the people… no brown envelopes allowed!

The outcomes of honest men and women will always outweigh the incomes of the grifters.

If there is one undisputed fact it is, if you vote for a party registered in England, you are voting with and for the Union.

It matters not one iota what goodies are on offer….a party registered in England is English and for England only! Once they have your vote…..they have you and your dream for Independence is over.

A vote for an English party can be taken as your acceptance and compliance with the status quo whether you realise it or not.

And sadly a vote for a Devolutionists party is of equal folly.

Unfortunately the Electoral Commision is also birthed in England, but we have no option but to obey their rules and regulations…for now!!

The only vote that will count towards eventual Independence next May will be a vote for a party or union of parties that is 100% for Independence.

The chaos we are experiencing just now will only change if we change it.

We all believe in Democracy but the kind of Democracy we have just now is not working. In a new Scotland, the drawing board is blank, therefore we can re-write the rules to suit our needs. The point being, it will be the Sovereign People of Scotland who will have the last say.

Today, in a town in mid-Scotland a group of rebels, whose sole purpose is Independence and to hold politicians accountable for their actions are meeting to launch their campaign.

They want….an Independent Scotland.

They want….honesty in Politics.

They want….the voices of the people heard.

They want….Scotlands resources kept in Scotland.

They want…..women to feel safe.

They will… hit the restart button on a new era in politics.

Remember every oak tree started off as an acorn, don’t dismiss the ‘sma folk’, become one of them.

The train is rolling….. get on the right one!

Their destination is your destination…..together we can cause an earthquake in Scottish politics.

Well, there are 23+ of them, but kids they are not😂

Each comes with a wealth of life experience. Among them you will find teachers, carers, lawyers, self-employed, a CA advisor, a bricklayer, a rugby player,and a retired Nurse, to name a few. The kind of people you rub shoulders with every day.

They are not career politicians, but they come with a wealth of knowledge, knowing what does and what does not work for the people. And that’s what counts…..people!

They don’t need to know how to do everything, they would have Civil Servants to help.

‘civil servant’s job is to implement government policies and deliver public services to ensure the country runs smoothly, acting impartially and independently of political parties. This involves a wide range of tasks, from managing government departments and resources to interacting directly with the public, providing advice to ministers, and executing programs in areas like health, education, and defence. Their role maintains continuity during political changes and supports the rule of law.’

What they do need and have in buckets full is a passion for Scotland and its people.

Over the next few months, these candidates will be introduced to you and their location via various platforms. They will also be hitting the ground locally and they want to meet you.

They won’t come in big posh cars, or with big promises they can’t deliver. But what they will bring to the top table is solutions in areas where the government is failing. And of course the biggest failure has been not to take the cause of Independence forward, which is the ultimate answer to all of our problems.

For radical change you need radical people in Holyrood!

Just let me clarify one of the list in the above. “No foreign backers”. By that I mean those who lobby to influence government policy giving large sums of money to individual MPs.

Foreign investment is a different matter and that must change as well.

Investment, whether in-house or foreign, must be to the benefit of the people and community in which the company operates. Not with all profits going into anonymous pockets! In my book, there is a huge difference between profit and greed.

We need money to circulate not flow out of the country like a raging river.

Scotland can not afford this so-called Union…… it’s time to go!

There is a route out, let’s take it.

Last week we learned that while the country was raging with COVID, the power house, the place that we expected to make the big decisions to care for us, was actually being run in a state of chaos. Was Scotland any better? Not really.

It is the duty of governments to care for their people, they failed, and are still failing.

Why is it, that we, the people always end up bailing out failed governments? We always have to pay for their mistakes.

How about reversing the situation? We make the decisions and the politicians have to do as they are told! It’s called Direct Democracy, and yes it does work…..look at Switzerland!

What do we have to lose?

A party, any party can only ride on its history for so long. Good policies made years ago do not entitle them to stay in government forever. Todays problems must be met with today’s solutions.

LS comes with fresh eyes and fresh ideas. They see the errors and are determined to fix them. They see how efficiently other countries are run and will not duck from the responsibility of pursuing these examples of best practice. No more jobs for pals…..just the people!

As the Union disintegrates we need to rebuild the foundations of Scotland with honesty and integrity. Liberate Scotland was created to do just that.

There is no such thing as a ‘rebel without a cause’…these rebels know their cause, it is Independence, nothing less!

Last week, my brother had a TIA [ transient ischemic attack ] not entirely unexpected at his age with AF, but what was disturbing was that his doctor missed a warning sign two weeks earlier, even though a Paramedic highlighted the possibility to the doctor.

Warning signs are important and political ones are no less important. We keep hearing words like ‘the writing is on the wall’ but we plod on as if it had nothing to do with us…..but it has everything to do with us!

Why?

Because every bad decision our political masters make…our lives and pockets pay for it.

We need more defience not compliance!

When politicians come with excuses, take it as a warning sign, things will only get worse. You only have to look at the Energy costs to see what I mean.

Just look at what Scotland produces, yet pays the highest costs in Europe.

Take a step back and start asking yourself the hard questions first. Then ask yourself what you can do about it….. Because believe it or not you are not as helpless as you think you are!

The comeback starts here, this is the place you STOP feeling helpless and start taking back control. This is the place where, eventually your energy prices will start to come down because you will control them!

Liberate Scotland believes in Direct Democracy but it will be up to you to make it happen through them. There is no ‘magic fairy’…..you are it, like it or not!

If we want change…….WE must be that change!

No opt-outs, no excuses…..we either want it or we don’t!

Scotland will never be Independent unless those 55% become active…..be it hitting the streets or hitting the keys we must apply the pressure needed to cause the political earthquake required in Scotland.

The warning signs are there, Scotland is being sold off one piece at a time to the big profiteering companies whose bank accounts lie offshore!
