The Salvo story, our story is being written as we speak. A year on and so much has been accomplished. So many of you have been in it from the beginning. You saw the vision Sara and others were unfolding.

A vision founded on truth, on legal documents, which Westminster tried to hide but are still alive today. A living testament to what Scotland once was and can be again!

Even today, a year on, new truths are being revealed and lies discovered. Lies that are jaw-dropping! We have all been living a lie. ‘Smoke and mirrors’ might be a relatively new saying but it’s a very old trick!

No more!

The very fact that ‘some’???? saught to create 300 mirror images of the Liberation.scot site was proof of how dangerous Salvo is to Westminster.

At the moment Scotland is the object of much laughter in No10, as we go cap in hand pleading for another Referendum. My personal opinion is that a Pleblicite Holyrood Election would go far in the eyes of Europe but not Westminster, they would dredge up some ancient piece of Legislation to deny us our rights, it is also my opinion they would do the same if we stood on a Unity ticket for the GE. The fact is, Westminster can’t afford to let us go so they will fight tooth and nail to keep the chains locked.

This story will not be a short one, many more names will be added. Many events will take place, and words spoken, legal words in legal courts heard by lofty Judges.

And finally when Judgements are passed, the next chapter will begin. It will be a never ending story that will end up as history books.

This story is a living tale of extraordinary people who live and breathe Scotland. Words will turn into events that will transmit a message and believe me heads will turn!

Nothing in this world was ever created to be imprisoned by another being. No human, no animal and no country!

Yet here we are in the 21st century being held captive by an abusive neighbour, and the saddest thing is there is an awful lot of people don’t realise they have a choice, a choice to fly free. It’s a bit like suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. There are many who still have a feeling of trust, even affection towards their captor. [Westminster ]

Psychologically they feel in a safe place, settled in their comfort zone that tells them change is dangerous! They are not necessarily happy in this place, they just haven’t been presented with better choices.

You may question my use of the word “abusive” but how else can you describe a neighbour who steals from you on a daily basis or who controls your life and limits your choices?

I have often been struck by this saying…..

We the members have the opportunity now to make some ripples, which Salvo will turn into waves that will surge through this land and wake people and parliaments up!

When you are caught between a rock and a hard place life can get quite uncomfortable.

If we are to believe our news programmes yesterday, we saw ‘thousands’ line the Royal Mile………they didn’t! We were also bombarded by those and such in the BBC with the English version of Scotlands history!

My thoughts today have moved on to who holds the Power when it comes to the Monarchy and the Constitution. Is it the King?

There can be no doubt that the service held in St Giles was planned down to the last detail by Charles himself and by all accounts showed off our Scottish culture at its best. Even the Bible readings were interesting! I looked up Humzas given he is a Muslim. It was pretty ambiguous and didn’t challenge any of his beliefs. On the other hand the poor PM had to read about feeding the poor and inviting strangers in!!! …….a hint from the King maybe?

So, regarding these somewhat peripheral matters, yes he is given free reign but on matters of State….not so much, in fact very little.

It is well known that he couldn’t wear the Scottish Crown yesterday, I am pretty sure he would love to as would his mother before him! To do so he would have to have taken the Scottish Oath of Assession and that’s where the conundrum comes in! Because to do so would denote the end of the Union!

And there is nothing he can do to change that conundrum!

To be honest I doubt if he would even want to, there would be too much to lose in terms of wealth and lands, so any desire to wear a second Crown can be easily overcome!

They say he cares deeply about Scotland, how deep?

Intellectually there would appear to be a conundrum but morally, I doubt it.

One by one those who should stand up for Scotland fall away but People power is the most effective power there is on this earth. So we march on claiming back our Rights!

I used to think only the Catholic Church used this phrase, but today I find myself using it in reference to The Kirk!

I saw somewhere today on Twitter that the Moderator of the Kirk preached a sermon at the Charles Show, and my mind turned to the letter Iain Lawson received from the Moderators PA. That in turn lead me to The Church of Scotland website, in particular its History section.

The first thing I noticed was the modern C of Scot has bought into the Union of the Crowns’ lie. Then came the huge omission, no reference at all to their involvement in the COR. And absolutely no mention of the Preservation of the Presbyterian Faith Act 1706.

Why would any institution leave out their part in such a pivitol part in Scottish History? They and they alone gave us our opt-out clause which still stands in Law today. Yet they go to great lengths to hide it, even deny it?

I did note that at one time they played footsie with the English Episcopalian Church, maybe that’s when everything got a bit muddled and they became Englified and have in some respects been quite happy to remain so!

But facts are facts and nothing can change the fact that once upon a time The Kirk was on the side of the People, they defended Scotland and its Constitution rather than the Monarchy. Today’s antics show just how much has changed!

Shame on The Kirk, but then it’s not the first time I have said that in my life! Is The Kirk becoming a victim of its own misdemeanours?

Oh well, I guess we are on our own, so let’s just get on with the task at hand.

Remember, every name on this document will be embedded in Scottish history for ever!

Apart from the words above being true, they reminded me of a similar situation in Scotland. When many Scots look at the political situation Scotland is in, they see only two choices, we can accept our lot or we can keep on complaining. Our SNP/Green government mostly choose the latter!

Not enough see change as an option!

Believe it or not, change is normal even though at times a wee bit scary! Another word for change is evolution or gradual change. We all do it, we grow or we die! It is the same for countries as it is for nature.

Scotland stands at a crossroads, we have a choice, we can continue to look at our glass and see it as half empty or we can seize the opportunity to fill it up. That will require a change of thought and some action!

Just as our ‘change of thought’ came through reading the COR it is incumbent upon us to pass that knowledge on to others and the action is to encourage others to be part of the peoples movement that is Liberation.scot

Salvo and Liberation.scot transcends all political parties. They are a movement, a movement of people, ordinary people and move this country on we will!!

Change is coming and sooner rather than later!

It’s only Tuesday and between Twitter and podcasts there is are an awful lot of holes being dug!

There are those who really should think before they speak or write words on social media! But then I suppose it is difficult to sit on one’s ego!

Then there is a certain senior ex Politician who according to the News wants a full Coronation in Scotland instead of this pretend stuff! ….. dare I swear?😂

Oh for a normal Scotland!

One where the People call the shots and Politicians actually have to listen to us. Our present system means we put our democratic rights into play for a few minutes when voting and then reap the consequences for the next 5yrs.

I think I can safely say that we in Salvo have decided what we want and we are on the road to getting it. For some outside the bubble a surprise may be coming, but it shouldn’t be given how much the COR is being talked about. Maybe they don’t know the difference between the English version and the authentic Scottish one! The penny hasn’t dropped!

As Parliaments close down for the summer holidays, the Salvo train is picking up speed. No holidays for us!!

This song came to mind this morning after seeing Sara’s answer to a Tweet, regarding how Westminster, in particular, pick out the useful bits of the COR but ignores the pieces that don’t fit their agenda.

Neither has it gone past me that even today here in Scotland there are those who are a bit picky!

Egos reign!

…….and scales over their eyes!

Scotland is standing at a junction, we have choices, embrace the past and take from it all the wisdom it offers or do as many others have done, use the bits that offer a personal or governmental reward and the people come last.

Are we really going to continue letting the greed of the rich take priority over the needs of the people?

Or will we use people power to shift the axis once and for all? Our power lies in numbers, our one job is to increase those numbers and let Salvo do the rest. Join the Hubs, invite your friends, and enjoy socializing with like-minded folk.

The tools are there….use them, please.

Has there ever been a government be it Scotland or Westminster that didn’t throw public money down the drain in such humongous amounts?

Today we see the SNP Scottish Government throwing another £20m at the Ferry fiasco, a few years ago it was Labour who introduced PFI, which we are still paying for. We also have Westminster throwing millions to their pals with their corrupt PPE deals.

Yet we never hold them to account, why? Because the so-called Democratic system we have doesn’t give us the power!

Political Parties in power hope by the time a GE comes around we will have forgotten all, but with the ongoing Covid investigation that will not happen either in England or Scotland.

The thing that infuriates me is the lies and the cover-ups! Nobody ever holds their hands up and apologises then steps down. There was a day, long gone, when a Politician would resign if caught having an affair, now it’s the norm and none of our business!

Integrity and morals no longer apply!

Our food bills and energy prices have gone up not just because of Ukraine but also because of corporate greed. Millionaires wanting to become Billionaires!

We have a chance to change this in Scotland, our future is in our hands.

This weekend will see the 1st AGM of Salvo over in Stirling, the event sold out in a day! Unfortunately by the time I had decided I might be fit enough to drive over the tickets had gone. I will be better prepared next year! But the level of interest in this event is both exciting and astonishing.

Ordinary people picking up the baton and running with it!

The race is on and we will win!

Truth demands change and that demands action!

The truth we are learning about our past demands a response and that will come, not through Politicians but by us the People via Salvo and Liberation.scot.

The thing that concerns me most at this moment in time is there are those who genually want Independence but they also want it on their own terms. They have an agenda and it doesn’t fit with the ethos within the COR.

It is therefore incumbent upon those of us who wish to keep the purity of it in tact that we pass on ‘the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth’ even if we ruffle feathers!

Our actions and the words we use will say as much about us as it does the truth we pass on. I had a rye smile on my face today when I read Iain Lawsons letter to The Kirk, it will be interesting to read their perceived Truth on this matter!

I hope Iain isn’t holding his breath for a reply, the wheels of the Kirk move very, very slowly, anyone having sat on a Kirk committee will testify to that😂

We however have no time to lose, time is of the essence. Our assets are being drained daily and today I notice it’s our Gold and by that I mean the stuff that comes straight out of the ground at Tyndrum!

The problem with Devolution is, Power is retained by Westminster. For some it seemed the answer to all their dreams but for me personally and I believe also many of you, Devolution is but a stepping stone to Independence.

Many of the Powers given us that day have since been taken back but then what’s new? What has happened to Scotland over the past few years is almost a replica of what happened after The Treaty of the Union! There has been this power creep which erodes every promise made. Then there was those secret deals that were made in the first place like moving the sea border further north to include a few oil fields. These deals were made by our own MPs and nothing has changed since then!

But here’s the thing, we the Poeple may not have known about the Claim of Right at that time but some in Westminster did and we’re using it, people like Willie McRea.

Why though has it only been used in part? Why have we had to wait all these years for someone to come along like Sara to reveal the truth, the whole truth? Why have our own MPs, our representatives kept it from us and are still doing it to this day?

The answer is really as simple as this, Power, status and money! The only other answer is sheer ignorance. This gift has been in their hands for years laying dormant because the personal cost was too high.

But times have changed, the great awakening is happening and there is no going back.

A future Scotland will not allow Politicians to make Laws of their own bidding, only enforce the ones we make! Never again can it be Parliament before the People. Never again will they be able to abuse their Power.

The time for thinking is over, we all know what we want and the road is opening before us, a different road yes but a legal one. One with many twists and turns and that’s what makes it so exciting…..motorways bore me, I prefer the highways and byways!!

I have only just heard of the passing of Winnie Ewing, what a lady she was. Will the SNP dare today of all days remove the Whip from her son Fergus? Scotland will never forgive or forget if they do. R.I.P. Winnie, and thank you for all you did for Scotland.
