Sometimes the sheer hypocrisy of Governments is breathtaking.

War is one example, the British government is bending over backwards to support the war in Gazza but says nothing about the war in Yemen which has been going on for years and killed a lot more women and children!

Politics trumps humanity in nearly every situation. The question asked is, ‘What can we gain from this, instead of what lives will be lost’?

As the COVID-19 inquiry progresses we are finding out that when it comes to who lives and who dies similar policies were considered.

This was a war against a virus but as in all wars the cost was counted in money not lives, but even this was divided into cost and profit! We the taxpayers are paying not just for the normal costs of the epidemic but also for the huge profits made through dodgy [illegal] deals.

There are huge profits to be made from all wars, lives are just collateral damage!

As we look forward to a future Scotland, are we going to take these double standards with us or are we prepared to do something different?

Will life matter?

We have to trust those writing our updated Constitution that they will.

Personally, knowing some of the people doing this, I believe it will.

People matter, every life matters and we need future Politicians who will ensure humanity is at the forefront of every decision made.

To be radical sometimes you have to say No before you can get to the Yes!

To restore Scotland’s place in a real Democracy radical steps will have to be taken.

To be a radical person means : a person who advocates fundamental political, economic, and social reforms by direct and often uncompromising methods!

In short, continuity won’t cut it!

Apparently being a radical person means your ‘cool’!!!

Did you know that the opposite of being Radical is to be Conservative!……now we can’t have that can we?😂😂

We all know by now that an Independent Scotland is not going to fall into our laps, so we have to make it happen even though it looks like Westminster is prepared to dump International Law to pursue its Policies.

That matters not to us because all we need to reach our objectives is to get International recognition.

Yes things could get a tad uncomfortable for a while as Westminster throws its toys out of the pram but that is the point where we and Scotland can grow into a Nation.

Nothing worth having comes free.

Therefore one of the first steps we must take is to stop sending MPs down to Westminster to be ignored and laughed at. Abstention means to be absent! It sends a clear message saying we will no longer play your game, because that is exactly what we are seen as down there……a joke…a game to play!

So let’s dare to be different!

Our comfort zones are our safe places, stress free. The place where nothing much happens, including growth!

In the same sense SCOTLAND continues to settle for being in a comfort zone of sorts because we are Scotland.

Scotlands growth is being stunted because we are allowing Westminster to asset strip it, both on land and sea.

As long as we as individuals remain in our comfort zones nothing will change in Scotland. The opportunity to move forward has been offered to us. Change for us and Scotland will only begin when we take that one step out of our comfort zone.

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

We need to switch that mental light on, the one that makes others take notice! ……draw people in with our enthusiasm in a world that offers little or nothing just now.

People need to see a beacon of hope!

“Your vote, your voice”………really?

If this was true there would indeed be true Democracy, but it’s not!

It’s more like ‘vote for us then be quiet’!

Last night a ‘Lord’ was bemoaning the fact that constituents couldn’t get into Parliament to see their MPs because of the protesters outside, he also added he and others couldn’t get out……I liked that bit!!!

It appears the voices of the masses account for nothing, we are allowed to speak once via the Ballot Box and that’s the sum total of our input! That’s what they call Democracy!

On the whole, the public attitude to Politics is……”I’ve voted so I’ve done my bit”, then if we don’t like what happens we vote for someone else in 5 years’ time. But 5 years is a long time, a lot can happen. Manifestos are brushed aside and replaced by add-hoc policies that fill the boots of the rich at the expense of the rest of us. Billions were paid out to firms during Covid 19……the pop-up companies of the wealthy with no due diligence. Yes Covid 19 was an unusual event but not giving due diligence is becoming a regular event!

Who fills the empty pot………we do!

There will be a GE next year, are we just going to press the ‘repeat’ button? Or have we the guts to press the ‘stop’ button?

There are two kinds of Abstention, one where you sit on the fence and the other where you are making a bold statement.

Tonight in Westminster about 200+ sat on the fence, scared to rock the boat! We also saw the bold ones, prepared to stand on their principles knowing they would be sacked.

The vote tonight would never have brought about a cease-fire but it would have made a ‘bold’ statement. I have no doubt the thousands gathering outside will express their disappointment one way or another. The ‘Honourable members within the House forget they serve us, not the other way around.

It is occasions like this that show how much our present system needs to change, we can’t influence Westminster unless we use the other kind of Abstention, the bold one that says we will no longer come down to London to play your games. If it worked for Ireland it can work for us!

Continuing to lock ourselves into the Westminster system will not work, it never has and it never will. We don’t have enough clout.

So why are we wasting precious time?

Why do we continue to vote and pay for Scottish MPs and MSPs who are caught up in a catch-22 situation?

The system is rigged against us and only we can change it. Too many Yessers are still sitting on the fence when it comes to the HOW of Independence.

There is a way, but perceived Party loyalties or loyalty to a person stand in the way.

What about loyalty to Scotland?

Gaining Independence is not a game or just a badge to wear, it demands we do something and we can start here……..

Today we have witnessed Tory Re-cycling at its best. Bereft of talent amongst their own MPs they dig up a dinosaur from the past and give him a Peerage to boot!

This particular dinosaur is responsible for about 90% of our current woes…….well done Prime Minister you have hit the jackpot of utter stupidity!

……and he is unanswerable to our Elected Members!!

Hundreds of independence-minded people have taken to Social Media today either expressing their disbelief or horror. We need these people to now grasp the Thistle, join Salvo and Liberation.scot and take matters back into our own hands.

Nothing less will do!

When is the ‘penny’ going to drop ?

The Ballot Box, when it comes to Scotland separating from England, is not going to work! We can seek, crawl, stamp our feet for eternity with no avail. England can not afford to let its cash cow roam off free!

Every First Minister becomes a Privy Counsellor and remains so for life unless they resign. Therefore the Oath they take remains in situ. How can a person have a foot in both camps yet be single minded enough to make demands for Independence? They can’t, it’s a catch-22 situation!

AS did manage to persuade Cameron to give us that Referendum in 2014, but Scotland had no say in how it would be held and no control over the count……I will say no more!!

You can be sure of one thing, the offer will never be repeated!

So, let’s stop pretending, that the Ballot Box is the answer to all our dreams.

The world has changed, and greed rules, so it’s time to take a stand, now, not next year or the one after……NOW!

Today’s papers as usual are making sure we are fed with the Tory government propaganda and not the chaos and thuggery they have created.

Truth and decency have well and truly vanished in this so-called United Kingdom and it is only because we have social media that we see the dark side of Politics.

Here in Scotland it is no different.

Take for instance Freeports, there may be no physical violence but Scotland and our land are being violated on a grand scale.

Sold as economic regeneration when the truth is the opposite. Taxes for the consortiums with nothing for the Local Councils which in turn will affect all the services in those huge areas! I say huge areas because don’t be fooled by the word Freeport. Ports themselves make up only a small % of what comes under the jurisdiction of these consortiums.

So, where is the press, and for that matter where are all our representatives when it comes to talking about all this? Silence prevails!

We are just meant to sit back and take it, trust they know best!!! Well, when it comes to Politicians…….no thanks! And it’s not just present Holyrood Politicians who are out to deceive us, go back a little further to when this all started with EZs [Economic Zones]

Scotland was sold a ‘pup’ only the ‘pup’ has never grown up!

So, where are the real voices of Scotland? The Ballot box won’t fix this, only we can.

How, you may ask?

Spreading the truth and by joining a movement that is using every legal tool it can to hold our Politicians and both Governments to account. Something which no political opposition party is doing!

There is nothing, we the People of Scotland cannot do or be if we put our minds to it.

‘Self Determination’ simply means being determined in what we say and do to gain the prize we all covet both individually and collectively, which just happens to be Self Determination for Scotland!

We hear a lot about ‘collective’ responsibility these days, especially during the Covid inquiry but what about our ‘collective’ responsibility to regain Scotland’s Liberation and Sovereignty?

The Liberation Movement is about People not Politics or Politicians, their day will come again but for now it is us! Individually and collectively to grasp the Thistle and bring a lasting conclusion to this prickly Union.

Party loyalty has its place, but not here, in this battle we need every Scot who will stand shoulder-to-shoulder, like the YES movement did for Scotland’s freedom.

Our United cry should be, NO MORE!

We are either ‘united’ in this cause or ‘disunited’. We cannot have a foot in both camps or be put in a position where we are continually looking over our shoulders wondering if our Party Leader would agree!

Individual responsibility sometimes asks hard questions, the question now is, is it Politics first or Scotland? ……because sadly the two are not always the same!

When it comes to Scotland the ‘dice’ are well and truly loaded!

A man called Chuck Hagel once said this. “Imposing democracy through force is a roll of the dice’’

Today in the King’s speech we see once again just how much the dice is loaded against Scotland, I think even Charles felt a bit uncomfortable!

We have no say in what happens to Scotland’s assets, we are not even asked for our opinion! Such is the contempt Westminster holds us in.

But this ‘rule and pillage’ attitude is nothing new, throughout British History this was London’s way of dealing with every country they conquered and heaven help anyone who stood in their way.

Only one word sums up the trail of British history and that is chaos!

………..and its no different here! If you try to unravel all the Acts and Laws made in reference to Scotland since the Treaty of the Union, which by the way is itself suspect, you would see a trail of chaos. Legislation was made on the hoof in haste as circumstances arose. Some just to justify our role within this disunited Kingdom.

The place to start unravelling this Union is not in legislation passed in recent years but to go back to the very beginning and start with the Treaty itself.

It’s the same with any country, if your looking for answers you can’t just jump in half way through its history you have to go back to the beginning.

That is what Salvo has and is doing, and right at the beginning, we see how the dice were loaded, heavily loaded against us!

Any dissent was met with jail or death.

But now the world is watching, it’s not so easy to hide the evidence and if you are the dissenter the trick is to keep the good guys on your side and stick to the International rules.

Although I must admit on a personal level, when it comes to ‘International Rules’ at this moment in time my heart is sinking a little!

But we must keep going or Scotland will remain tied up in this Legislative abyss.

For the sake of our children let’s get up up off our knees and start taking Scotland back.

So, any organization that undermines the ‘values’ of the country will be deemed as ‘extremists’!

When I look at the list above I seriously question if this Tory government fit into any.

Could we, should we also include Holyrood?

As always these laws that are drawn up in haste are quite ambiguous and can be interpreted in any way the government sees fit for any inconvenience caused to them!

So, looking to the future I would imagine those of us either pursuing Independence or Sovereignty via ICJ will now be extremists! Because our cause will certainly be an inconvenience to Westminster, especially on the matter of Sovereignty!

Would Westminster use these powers to close down Holyrood, they could but in my opinion won’t because we already know that deep in its heart, Unionists rule!

When Politicians etc! swear an oath of allegiance to a foreign King you just know their promises and their words are just empty rhetoric.

Empty promises for votes!

There is little doubt that Labour will win the next GE, I am not sure how much difference that will make but it is the Holyrood Elections that we should be looking to. The opportunity for change starts there, but be careful what you wish for because the choice is simple. People are Sovereign or Parliament is Sovereign!

One way or another that choice will have to be made and it could be sooner than you think. We are living in volatile times.

We in Scotland still hold ‘values’ and a new Scotland must stand firmly on them, individually and collectively.
