Labels…..

Why does everybody need to have a label these days?

The PM has labelled everyone who genuinely disagrees with him as ‘Far Right’ when truth be told it is his own Party who have become ‘Far Right’. By his own admission Labour are now the new Conservatives.

Those of us in Scotland who desire Independence are now ‘Extremists’…..since when did it become ‘extreme’ to want to rule one’s own Country?……or does this only apply to Scots?

When it comes to Politics loyalties come and go, it is not that many years ago that Bashar Al-Assad was welcomed to this country by the late Queen herself, now the pendulum has swung the other way and he is now a tyrant.

What changed in the intervening time?

Certainly not his behaviour, no, it was Westminster’s priorities. Netanyahu in…..Assad out!…..but the real bottom line is not ethics but money!

…..or who we need the most!

One would think then that Westminster MPs would go to extraordinary lengths to keep Scotland sweet, so whats different?

The difference is POWER! and who holds it.

Westminster holds the Power over Scotland and our voting system makes sure it stays that way. They don’t need to be ‘nice’, they know they have the power to take all they want, and the belief is that everything belongs to them.

The truth is of little value to them, so they label us as extremists.

Lies rule these days and only we can change that or we become complicit in the lie. That makes me feel very uncomfortable…..how about you?

This is why doing nothing is not an option.

Every day we complain about our Politicians lying to us yet we do nothing……so are we any better?

Surely we are better than that?

I don’t want to be labelled as being complicit in a lie, I’m sure you don’t either. So let’s show Westminster what we are made of….. let’s be extreme/radical.

…..and we must do so differely. We need to think outside the box.

Joining Salvo and Liberation.scot is one way of showing your intent differently.

A path that has always been there but only Salvo has dared take it.

“In it, to win it”

Sarwar, the Scottish Labour apologist says he intends to win the Scottish Elections, just how, is not clear!

But he is right about one thing, to win something you have to be ‘in it’!

Independence will not happen unless the majority of people are ‘in it to win it’ It is no use sitting wishing or dreaming….that only ends up with heartbreak.

This is a wake up call….or should be…

https://youtu.be/z36eRTt7zJo?si=XEOZLaWXy3NNRcHQ

…..because soon there won’t be a Scotland to dream about!

…..and some Parties, whilst parading as Independence Parties are actively making sure that we remain chained to the Unionist creed. They even have the temerity to say they will rejoin the EU knowing that their Policies will exempt us from any future participation in the EU.

All ideas when they become official policy bring consequences! We really need to up our game when it comes to dissecting new headline-grabbing notions. Politicians will tell you to ignore the ‘what ifs’ but that’s exactly the road we need to take, your life and your jobs will rely on knowing those answers, it’s called being informed!

Too many vote in the dark, they take the headline, the promise as gospel…..well look where that has got us……up the creek without a paddle!

and very soon the boat will go to!! ( boat being Scotland)

We are not on a cruise, we are a small boat fighting the storm and we need all hands on deck!

I don’t want some shareholders in a foreign country telling me what I can and can’t do……..do you?

We are Sovereign, don’t ever forget that and Scots Law is still Scots Law…..we just need to apply it.

Bits and pieces…..

The Independence movement at the moment is fragmented, many groups and Parties all with good ideas of how to get Independence but refusing to come together to add their bit to the jigsaw.

No one person or Party can own Independence.

Individually, some of them want all of the pie and to be in charge.

Starmer is an individualist, he wants and has total control over his party and in particular his MPs. This was shown clearly this morning by the application of the 3 line whip regarding a Public Inquiry into the Gang rapes and grooming of children.

We neither want nor need individualists in Scotland where one person thinks that they are Supreme.

Individually we are Sovereign but only by working together can we once again become a successful Sovereign Country.

The way we do this is through Direct Democracy, where Individualists cease to exist….except in their heads.😅

Bye bye Mr Starmer…..and your lackeys in Scotland!

If that notion appeals to you then climb aboard the Liberation.scot train.

Not convinced, then watch this video and see what is happening to your country right before your eyes!

https://youtu.be/z36eRTt7zJo?si=XEOZLaWXy3NNRcHQ

The polls say 60% would vote for Independence without the Monarchy, we need to harvest that 60% and bring them under one umbrella….

Unity means being as ONE, it is time to make it happen!

The ‘Reconfiguration’ of Scotland…

A future Scotland will require more than just a quick make-over, we need a complete reconfiguration.

We must not end up with a Westminster Mk2!

There is nothing outdated about the The Claim of Right which is why 2025 must be the year to build the foundations for 2026. We must also keep our eyes firmly fixed on the present as the ground, in particular, Scotland’s ground is continually shifting. The new notion of Edinburgh Airport becoming a border with the USA! I get the concept but unlike Dublin, Edinburgh Airport is within an unregulated Freeport which changes the dynamics somewhat.

Plan for the future, yes, but we will also need eyes in the back of our heads and take nothing for granted.

Throughout Scotland a light has been switched on, switched on by Salvo, and dark secrets and lies have been uncovered. Truth demands action and we each have a part to play. It is called collective responsibility.

The question is though, do we care enough to do anything about it? There is no such thing as an innocent bystander when it comes to watching a crime being committed….and the theft of Scottish land and its resources is a crime, under International Law!

Relaxing laws within Freeports is also a crime against the people because they use our taxes to boost Private profits with little or no return reducing our vital services.

A government that chooses to send money to foreign countries for war and other spurious policies before addressing the problems of its people is in my mind also corrupt.

So as far as Westminster is concerned we need to put a spanner in the works!

The Liberation train is not Westminster-bound it will be EU-bound and we all need to climb aboard if we are serious about change, real change, not the Labour kind!

When Liberation lights the blue touch paper things will start to happen…..be ready and more importantly be part of it!

https://liberation.scot/

The pendulum has shifted……

Remember the good old days when if you protested you were called a ‘lefty’ now the pendulum has moved 180degs, ………you are now ‘far-right’!

And you don’t need to leave your chair, just say you oppose something and you are labelled!

You may laugh, but when the man in charge uses the law to oppose any opposition we have a serious problem.

We can however transform Scotland back into a Democratic country, one where Direct Democracy brings power back to the people.

But to get that we need to speak with one voice and it just ain’t happening!

Instead of moving forward nearly everything is grinding to a halt. There are gremlins at work intent on slowing the good work of others down.

Some groups appear to just be ‘talking shops’ now.

As groups and Parties get into Election mode if we don’t stop the rot now it will be too late to make the 2026 Election count for anything, never mind change the system.

Time is not on our side, there is no, ‘we have plenty of time’. Decisions to work together must be made now. Party and group leaders must listen to their members because folk are getting techie…..some even thinking of walking away fed up with never-ending promises.

If we fail to change things next year we won’t be able to blame Politicians…….we will have failed….we the People, because the power is in our hands now.

When the chickens come home to roost!

Another set of promises has been made, the third at my counting!

These are tipping us nearer to the Liz Truss territory of Austerity.

Somehow Westminster has managed to convince many that Deregulation is a good thing…..just ‘less paperwork they say’. ‘It will speed things up’!

In any setting, ‘speed’ can be reckless!

Deregulated Freeports and SEZs are reckless decisions and the chickens are coming home to roost.

https://teesside.thelead.uk/p/teesside-airport-reports-66m-loss

…..and no amount of lies can hide the truth!

The fundamental problem for us in Scotland just now is, no matter how much we scream and stamp our feet, when we vote our government into power we give them the right to make the big decisions and we have no recourse when we disagree with these decisions.

Decisions never mentioned in Manifestos.

2026 must be more than just a change of Party, we must have a SYSTEM CHANGE!

By voting for Direct Democracy it would mean that we the People have a continuous say….no more waiting for 5yrs….no more waiting and watching helplessly whilst our country is being sold off to foreign conglomerates, ‘con’ being the right word!!

Don’t let anybody tell you we can’t do this, don’t let anybody tell you we haven’t got the brain power….we have, and we have an abundance of it.

The only thing that can and will destroy this belief is…..if we fail to see the power of Unity and use it!

Failure to take what is within our grasp is not an option and any Party who refuses to unite with others does not deserve the title of being an Independence Party.

This is not the time for ‘Top Dogs’.

We are all the Crown!

How a Party conducts itself in the next 16 months will have a bearing on how a post-indy government will evolve, because we will remember!

The next 16 months will be a showcase for all Parties.

If a Party can’t sell itself on its truths then please don’t try and sell yourself on a lie!

No Unity, no Independence ( Liberation) …simple as!

Teetering on the edge…..

As the country teeters ever nearer austerity I thought it might be appropriate to resurrect an old article just to remind us of the truth about Scotlands finances.

http://scotlandowntwofeet.blogspot.com/2013/07/can-independent-scotland-stand-on-its.html

It’s not the reminding that is important it is the lengths Westminster goes to, to hide the truth! Even more important than that is why we….yes we are so reluctant to accept plain facts.

That article was written in 2013 yet here we are in 2025 still stuck in the rut of Devolution, another con!

Why in 2025 are we still swearing an oath to a King we now know is not our King and why is a Party opposed to that being slated by another Independence Party for its stance?

Why is it so impossible for independent-minded people to think outside of the box like Kosovo did?

Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008. In its declaration of independence, Kosovo committed to fulfilling its obligations under the Ahtisaari Plan, to embrace multi-ethnicity as a fundamental principle of good governance, and to welcome a period of international supervision.

Change means change….. not part-exchange!

There is no mix-and-match when it comes to setting up a new system and if we don’t dare to do that then we don’t deserve to become Independent!

History will not treat us kindly if we fail to act on the opportunity being presented to us. Parties will grow or fall on the decisions they make now. Members are demanding Unity and woe betide any Party who ignores their members because in Scotland it is the People who are Sovereign!

So let’s all get behind the one movement who will bring the power of Sovereignty back to Scotland.

Thinking outside the box….

Wouldn’t it be a novel idea if we could just knock all the walls down and think as one?

The walls of party politics, of distrust. With the walls down we would get a clearer view of the goal and the path to it!

If we remain in the box all we get is the same old thinking with the same old results.

No creativity!

Why do we need to be so conventional?

Why can’t we swim up-stream for a change?

Change the word and we change our focus.just one word!

The word used to be ‘Independence’ is it the right time to change it to a similar one, one that will once again bring us all under the same umbrella?

Should our primary focus now be Liberation, bringing us into line with the Peoples Movement?

One thing is clear, the political solution is dead and buried and can’t be resurrected. The ball is now in our hands but there’s an elephant in the room…..

…..and we are refusing to acknowledge it.

Blind loyalty to a Party, any Party will be our downfall if we can’t put Scotland first.

A lot of excellent work with different groups building the necessary foundations is happening behind the scenes. These groups are made up of men and women who belong to different Parties and none, so why can’t we bring this ethos across to working together for the 2026 Elections?

2026 will not be a normal Scottish Election in any sense, the consensus appears to be that it should be a Pleblicite election, that being so means we have to work together….so let’s get on with it!

Conferences are the place where members can hold their Leadership to account and adopt Policies and any truly democratic Party would allow that to happen…..maybe its time for members to show their muscle!!

Members’ voices must be heard….members from all groups and Parties.

Let the people speak…

Let’s make the dream a reality!

“For evil to flourish, it only takes good men to do nothing”

If the meaning of ‘evil’ is to do something morally wrong then doing nothing is not an option!

Westminster’s treatment of Scotland is and has always been morally wrong and by doing nothing we, yes we, have become complicit. It is time to redress that.

We can no longer plead ignorance, if indeed that’s what it was because the facts have been laid before us thanks to Salvo. Now Devolution itself is being dismantled one project at a time.

At what point do we, do you say enough is enough?

Having entered 2025 we now talk in terms of a Scottish Election next year……16 months to get our act together, and 16 months to have some honest conversations.

An honesty that will require a bit of humanity and humility.

16 months to work on a plan that puts Scotland before Party Politics.

16 months to bring Democracy back to Scotland and show the world what we know we can be.

Are you up for it?

Or as Lord Hope said do we sit back and allow ourselves to be ‘rendered worthless’?

In any lifetime 16 months is a very short period, let’s not waste it bickering about whose Party should lead what, let the people lead from the front. Doing nothing is not an option.

We must find the courage to chase the dream, we must find the courage to stop the evil that is sweeping over Scotland like a menacing fog. The evil that masquerades as Privatisation.

The dream will expire in May 2026 unless we unite and change the system.

We cannot allow ourselves to be the good men and women who did nothing!

Dream catchers…

If ever there was a dream to catch it is that of a Liberated Scotland.

Catching dreams is not for the faint-hearted, it takes tenacity and commitment for the long term. There are no shortcuts but there is a roadmap.

The native Americans believe dream catchers stop the bad dreams and let the good ones through….the operative word being ‘believe’!

Belief in anything can be a powerful motivator, are we motivated enough to make our dream come true?

Scotland is not just living through a bad dream, it’s living through a nightmare. And we are not the only ones as we hear Starmer is considering denying Local Councils in England the right to Democracy as he re-jigs the local Political chess boards.

How long before he interferes in our Elections?

The internal marketing Bill is not about levelling up but levelling down with a few freebies for window dressing.

Like thousands of others, I truly believe the Liberation movement is the vehicle that has caught our dream and is moving forward with it.

Other routes may be in the planning but this one is on the move and we owe it to Scotland to go with it.

Defeat is not in losing but in not trying!

The responsibility for Scotland’s future has fallen into our hands…..we need to own it!
