The Power vacuum that needs to be filled……

Scotland is falling out of love with its ruling Party for several reasons, and, with our despair with Labour, this has led to a void within Scottish Politics.

There is a Power Vacuum that needs to be filled…….but filled with what?

Perhaps the first Q we need to ask ourselves is, do we really want Independence? Because the answer to that one, will automatically narrow our choices!

If, and I hope it is YES, then we can only fill the gap with Parties that are truly Scottish, not English based.

The second Q then is, do we retain what we have, given their recent record of failures, hoping once again they will get it right?

Somehow, I think that might be a huge NO for 51% of the population!!

OR

Do we make the bold choice of something new?

But even this comes with a caution! Look at all the choices with an eagle eye! When members start washing their dirty linen online, it’s not a good sign…..no smoke without fire!!

When the ISP was set up, we set a high bar for Ethics and Integrity, both internally and externally. I’m sure the others within Liberate Scotland did also. That is why our travels together have gone so smoothly!

Politics today, is fueled by corruption, now is the time to switch to a cleaner fuel!

Our ingenuity knows no bounds, we can do this!

Liberate Scotland had to think outside the box just to gain existence. Their belief in ‘right over wrong’ won the day and with your help can do so in May.

I am a strong believer in truth winning the day.

If we always tell people the truth then trust will be restored, no matter how bad that truth is. With truth, the ground beneath us is solid, with lies it shakes!

Let’s make a difference on May 7th, let the journey to Independence really begin.

A journey fueled by truth and hope. It always feels good to be on the right side of history.

A new chapter in Scotlands history is being written, whether it be the Decolonisation route or UDI, or a mixture of both, no one knows for sure. But one thing is for sure a Referendum via Westminster is a dead duck!

It always helps when the opposition makes the case for you!!!

Sawar is the gift that just keeps on giving!

Keep your eyes fixed on truth and integrity.

There will be no change without YOU!

The option of sitting back and expecting others to change things, is, no longer an option.

Because, it won’t happen!

Change does not start with others, it starts with US as individuals. That remark may not be welcomed by many, but it is true.

We need to stop complaining and start doing something about it. We need to stop being the victim and start taking our country back. Back to the Scotland we once knew.

I am so glad I was a ‘baby boomer’, I have lived through the best of times.

This kind of change will require different things from different people.

For some, it will require a change of thinking, not just from Party to Country but within Party politics itself. Is a Spring Clean required?

For others it may be even more personal, should I sit at home and just moan, or will I make my voice heard?

Perhaps though, the biggest change required is to get people out to vote in the first place. If Council Elections are anything to go by then we have failed already. The average turnout being about 20+%, with Bearsden being the exception recently with about 40+%.

These numbers if replicated in a Scottish Election will change nothing, or even worse, let the Unionists in.

But….you say….we don’t have sleeze and corruption in the Scottish Government! …….. Well, I would beg to differ!

From paedophiles having friends in high places to Freeports, there’s plenty to choose from!

But the wind of politics in Scotland is changing, a breath of fresh air has arrived. A place has arrived where people actually want to work together for the sake of their country. It’s a place where like-minded people can come together and choose to vote for Independence.

That place…..

Made by the PEOPLE for the People!

……. and importantly, made by people who are anti sleeze and corruption!

May, can be the start of something new, or should I say, the start of getting back to the values this country once held so dear. A place where we valued each other, a place where we felt safe.

If this is your dream also, then you will have to get out and fight for it, and if that means you becoming a rebel, then good! At least you will be a rebel with a cause!!

Some of us were just born to be rebels.😂😂

When making a public statement….

Sometimes, when making a public statement it is wise to tread a little lighter!

We simply haven’t programmed the youth correctly”

An interesting choice of words, but gives an insight into what is taking place at ground level, in the States.

But, we in Scotland are not exempt from these tactics. We have been ‘programmed’ to think we are part of the United Kingdom for hundreds of years! With many, even with proof to the contrary, still choosing to believe those lies.

Why is that?

Is the cost of believing the evidence, too high?

Is ‘comfortable’ easier than ‘confrontation’?

Have ‘incomes’ out weighed ‘outcomes’?

Has the Scottish Government spent over a £m fighting the wrong battles?…….I think that would be a Yes!

The real programming starts the day you start school. We are taught what to think, not how to think!

What a day it will be, when we see the old history books destroyed and replaced with Scotlands true history.

Britain did not ‘discover’ any country, they stumbled into already populated countries and then massacred their indigenous people before hoisting their flag!

This is our flag and we should be proud to wave it!

For me, Party Politics is a necessary evil in its present form. But it’s the system we have, and we have to work with it. It does at least give us choices. The secret is to choose wisely!

When thinking about politics, remember this saying. “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me”.

History only repeats itself because we never learn the lessons. That needs to change!

If we want real independence, then we have to vote for real Independence Parties.

……and fortunately, there is a choice!!

I have made mine, have you?

and. ISP

Navigating the skies!!

Navigating the skies is a tricky job these days, especially when the passenger you are carrying is wanted by half of the world!

But then navigating anything these days seems to be hard. Nothing appears to be what it is, its smoke and mirrors down nearly every road. This is not by accident but by design.

Politicians hope that by making things difficult for us to find, we will just give up and walk away.

But does that not make us complicate?

When it comes to Scotland, giving up is not an option. We have to learn to navigate these difficult roads, thankfully many are doing so, and it is incumbent upon the rest of us to listen and act.

The place of action is the Ballot Box in May.

Because of Salvo/ Liberation.scot and the Decolonisation route, this election takes on a different context. It’s not just about local issues anymore, it’s also about our National identity.

The world is changing and we need to be part of that change. Do we really want to be part of the British American Project, do we really want to be cosying up to them and their masters in Israel…..on any level?

Trade is one thing, being under their thumb is quite another!

We have all we need in Scotland to ‘stand alone’. We have the resources and the people. We just need to trust ourselves.

Remember the days when we were taught “Britain rules the skies”? Well, it doesn’t! It appears the USA does!

Apparently we even have American military personnel based in or near Prestwick!

Rendition still seems to be alive and kicking, and even the highest courts in our land can’t stop it!

Rome was not built in a day, but the first foundation bricks laid were the most important.

We, in Scotland need to start laying the political foundations of a future Scotland. The tried and tested have failed, so we must think ‘new’!

New Parties… new thinking!

New, is scary for some, I understand that, but let’s be honest, when the ‘old’ keeps failing, shouldn’t others be given a chance to change things?

Will it be ‘grift or graft’?

Give me the ‘grafters’ anyday. Hard working ordinary people with no airs & graces. Feet on the ground navigating all barriers put before them.

…….and when it comes down to overcoming barriers, this lot will not be beaten. They know what it feels like to fight and WIN!

And they will fight for Scotland and for you!

“ a diamond is a chunk of coal that did well under pressure”

Just think about the meaning of those words for a moment!

Never underestimate the ‘ordinary’…..they have a habit of becoming the extraordinary!!

Listen to the passion in some of their voices on Prism.

In politics, the ordinary matters!

You don’t keep loyalty by coercion!

It may work for a while, but one day soon, the dam will burst.

At the moment the threat by their Leader to sack the lot of them by calling an election seems to be enough to hold them fast.

There will come a day when MPs realise, it’s loyalty to their constituents that’s matters not their autocratic Leader…..I hope!!

But are we in Scotland not held by similar threats? “Without the SNP there will be no Independence”!!

The cause of Independence can not be owned by one Party, especially when that Party has failed to deliver when it had the chance.

The cause is owned by all of us, and we now need to think outside the box to get there. Salvo has taken that lead and it’s the one we need to follow.

It’s a long twisty road, but the train is moving and that’s what matters. Then there’s UDI, not to be completely dismissed. My feeling is, that in the end it will take both to get us there as we will never be handed it.

The truth is, British politics is neither Labour nor Conservative, it has become Libertarian. [ not to be mistaken for Liberalism!] with many MSPs belonging to the British American project.[BAP]

In short, that means, decisions taken are made in the Boardrooms of major colgomerates throughout the world…..or even shorter…..we are now owned by others!!!

Well, it’s time to put a spoke in that wheel, and we have the perfect opportunity to do so in May.

I know it’s hard for folk to change, but at the moment both Swinney and Sarwar are, by their words and actions making it easier. I find it interesting that Swinney has not commented on Nicolas ‘50-year’ comment. [unless I’ve missed it!]

If we look at the present spectrum of Political Parties in Holyrood at the moment, there is no obvious choice to make that will deliver anything different. That leaves us with one conclusion, again I say, look outside the box!

There are choices!!

Another pro-Independence Party maybe, or something quite different, but still pro-Independence…….even more so actually…..they only have one policy and that is Independence, nothing Less!

Whatever your choice is, it must be led by love of country not coercion.

Liberate Scotland is here because those within it, love their country and they believe in the people who live here.

They believe in you!

From chaos to calm!

The chaos!

Remember the slogan ‘Save the date’.?.……… and this…..

Well, it’s just as well we didn’t hold our breath because we have moved on big-time according to Nicola, it’s now in the next 50yrs!…….I will definitely have moved on…..to another world!

Yesterday was a chaotic day in Scottish politics with Sawar cooking his goose!! What he said may have been right but I think his timing was a bit off….you don’t try and shove your boss off a cliff until you know for sure he’s about to jump.

The calm!

Yes, there is some calm!

Here in Scotland the smaller parties are just chugging along getting on with the daily business of campaigning ahead of May’s election.

No events south of the border will knock Liberate Scotland off course, they are focused and determined to keep on the job in hand, bringing Independence to the fore.

As the media tries to shut down the notion of any kind of Unity, campaigners for LS will hit the streets by coming to you.

They will bring you a different message.

A conversation, however, is a two-way thing, so they hope you will tell them what you want and expect from today’s politicians… and this is important… they want your input on what you think a future Scotland should be like. Your voice, your hopes and dreams are just as important as theirs!!

Why is it that in today’s world we lack the choice of having to choose between good people and end up having to choose between the lesser of two evils?

Well that no longer applies in Scotland.

Liberate Scotland does not offer career politicians, it offers real people with real-life experiences who have stepped up to fill the gap. A gap created by a party that has failed not only to fulfil their promises but seems to have thrown in the towel altogether. They speak the words but lack the ambition.

LS have shown its determination to change politics, now they need you to be just as determined when it comes to Independence.

It only takes a X to change things!

Gold Standards…

If it’s not sleaze, it’s corruption!

A picture of today’s politics covering nearly the whole of the world.

Can we change things in our wee corner of the world?

Well, we could, if we really wanted to!

How?

Well, it starts, note I said ‘starts’! [Rome wasn’t built in a day]……in May this year.

“Gold Standard” means high-quality standards. When did we last see that in politics? When did we last see it in Scotland?

One of the first things that has to happen in politics is, ‘to say what you mean and mean what you say’! Promises made must be promises kept!

LS stands on one Policy, ‘Independence, nothing less’. But they need YOU to help them get into a position where they can use that balance of power to make it start to happen.

As individuals, they also want to restore ethics and integrity to politics.

At the moment, Holyrood is following Westminster’s path, where privatisation is the buzzword. Privatisation is not compatible with Democracy, and some in Westminster are now beginning to get that. They want to ‘tweak’ Freeports……good luck with that one! ISDS will come into play.

May can be the start of something new, but there is a big ‘IF’.

Only if we focus on Independence and move away from Party Politics, I fear, that for some, that will be a bridge too far! For some, independence only means one party.

For this election, we need to put political attachments aside and apply mathematics!

[ get your calculators out!]

We need to unify around the Saltire.

Unity is not about trying to unite with the biggest party. Unity is about uniting the people behind a cause.

To escape the corruption and sleaze we need to start thinking differently.

Think Alliance!

The lesson learned, never give up!

If ever Liberate Scotland were being tested, it was over the past 6 months.

But their dogged determination to fight for a different kind of politics won the day. I suppose one could say the experience has been a kind of training ground. Time in the lion’s den!

An exercise in learning how to deal with ‘dirty tricks’ and win!

Unity scares politicians, they prefer ‘divide and rule’.

Unity cannot be controlled by those who seek to maintain the status quo, the numbers just keep growing as people realise they need each other.

And so the jigsaw comes together.

When people and groups pull together, the establishment feels threatened. And when they feel threatened they make mistakes. Trying to shut down Liberate Scotland was a big mistake, especially by the ‘bad actors’.

Now, the light is shining on everyone. Who is the real deal and who isn’t?

The SNP on the other hand seemed to have switched the light off….

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland does not proclaim to be the only one that wants Independence, there are others like Alba, but they are the only ones promoting Unity amongst all the parties, and that is what people asked for!

Fact……

Many things have to happen before we become Independent, but the first thing is some kind of political event to ask if we want it! To make that happen we need bums on seats in Holyrood to create that event.

What do you see?

2 Oranges?

No! An orange and a tangerine!!

When it comes to political parties and their promises, it is always wise to take a closer look. Does the party really represent the people it says it does, look at their past history!

Are the promises they make jam or carrots?

Are the parties Scottish or English?

A cross between an orange and a tangerine is called a ‘tangor’. In Scotland we don’t just have Nationalists and Unionists, we have our very own crossovers, they are called Devolutionists!!!

So, please take time to look closer.

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland bring with it a new kind of politics, grown from the grassroots of Scotland.

Take a closer look.

Be careful what you wish for!

Another day, another defection! It’s getting quite boring now.

Politics has become a business, where one jumps to where the opportunities are. Loyalty? ….. forget that. No need to worry about having to make new friends when many of your pals are waiting for you!

It’s all about total control these days…..and watch out for the 15-minute towns, the brochures look flashy but there are hidden dangers. Think about the future and remember East Germany before the wall came down.

What Labour is selling as protection now, will, down the line become control. We might have delayed digital ID but it will come via the back door!

Scotland needs to start its exit now, not wait and see what happens.

With Liberate Scotland there is no need to switch parties or loyalties, you just lend your vote to Scotland!

The YES movement has many enemies, our strategy moving forward should be motivated by determination not anger, or the use of dirty tricks.

Unifying is the one strategy they hate, because numbers matter!

Why do you think the SNP didn’t want a Plebiscite Election?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am beginning to see posts saying the SNP vote is beginning to collapse. If that is the case, and I say ‘if’ then the door is widening for the smaller Independence parties.

Now is the time to think differently, now is the time to be brave. Now is the time to empty the Hollywood gravy train.

Now is the time for the Rebels to take over and I include all real Indy parties.

If we wake up on May 8th to a Unionist Holyrood, it will certainly be all change, but not the one we wanted. And don’t blame ‘vote splitting’, the chance to Unite is there……please take it.

The ‘Fake’ grass will not be very palatable!

We need to have a better understanding of the List system and how smaller parties can use it to their advantage. It’s not about ‘gaming’ the system, it’s about using a system that was meant to include smaller parties!

When the extraordinary happens in Politics.

Now and then, something quite extraordinary happens in politics, and this is one of those times.

For months the possibility of a united campaign party has been promoted, that possibility has now become a reality!

The wheels of the Electoral Commission grind slowly, but they do grind! And, as with every official government department, every “i’ must be dotted and every ‘t’ crossed before even being considered for approval.

Noone expected ‘incoming friendly fire’ but it came nonetheless.

But, in one way it proved something, it proved the tenacity of this group of ordinary people.

It proved how flexible they were in having to adapt to change, and above all it proved they were not going to be beaten in pursuit of their goal.

A rare combination in Politics today!

Now that day has come, and all the hard work and dogged determination to create something new in Scottish politics has paid off.

The Alliance to Liberate Scotland has been rubber stamped, with the stamp of approval!

They are Legal, they are up and running and it’s game on!

This is what happens when ordinary people make their dreams come true. This is no small step, because not only is it a first, but it brings with it the possibility of some seismic changes in Holyrood this year.

Unity has always been the answer, and Unity within the Independence movement even more so.

As David, from Sovereignty said, ‘we don’t have to align on everything’ but we must have ‘strategic alignment’ on Independence.

A plan is not a plan unless there are people to action it.

LS has a plan, and many are now actively considering it. We need to make this year’s Election one that counts. One where every vote for a real Independence party counts. Putting the right people in Holyrood to support the Decolonisation route and the other groups laying the foundations in the background, like the SSRG and Common Wheel etc.

These things together put Independence first.

If real Indy Parties held the balance in Holyrood, they could in theory, force a Plebiscite Election before the next GE or before 2031.

This could be our last throw at the dice for many years as global powers and privatisation creep in. Remember promises made are not always promises kept, even when those promises are made by our own MSPs!

We need MSPs who won’t be bought!…..people with integrity.

There is only one way our Dream can come true, and that is for each one of us to do our bit.

We need voices, not echoes!

Think Liberate Scotland for the change you want.
