Whatever happened to Labour?

There is nothing ‘for the people’ about Labour and people are starting to get it.

They have money for condoms in Pakistan, but none to help their own people with the costs of heat and food.

In Scotland, we have the chance to flip the coin. Liberate Scotland are Scotlands real people, who like the rest of us are living under an authoritarian government and paying handsomely for it.

At the GE, many believed the lie, but you know, it wouldn’t have mattered how we voted, the result would have been the same. Our power lies in changing the demographics of the Scottish Government.

Only when we change the demographics can we start to change the dynamics…. it’s all about the numbers!

Our power lies in having the guts to say No to Westminster and dare them to challenge us……in public!

It’s called rattling the cage!

LS answers to you, not to millionaires and certainly not to board members of large foreign conglomerates!

The numbers for YES are rising, but is the courage there to do it?

The courage to vote for something different, the courage to say ‘I can also do this’ and add your name to the ever-growing number of Liberate Scotland Candidates.

I think it’s time to start the biggest WHISPERING CAMPAIGN, Scotland has ever seen.

You may think ‘whispering’ is an odd word to use because it is usually associated with negatives…..but it can also be a signal that a change is coming.

We have to accept that our media is going to ignore us and we can only do so much on Social media, as big as it is. So we need a strategy! There is something in the psyche of us all that when we hear a whisper we want to know more….usually for the wrong reasons.😂😂

These should be the words on our lips, all day, every day. The words that you can use when interrupting a negative, overheard conversation in the pub or cafe! Ignite the flame with a whisper in someone’s ear!

When the trickle-down policies of Westminster start to hit people’s pockets, they will start to listen and look for other options.

Let the wind take the whisper where it will.

Only through the silence, will Scotland hear the whispers of truth.

The penny has dropped in Wales and we must make sure we follow suit next May.

In the valleys of Wales, where the Labour movement grew, they are now burying it, and the cry for Independence is replacing it.

This should give us heart because it shows that large majorities can be overthrown.

Starmer is the gift that keeps on giving, and we must use that gift wisely. First, it was his support for Israel that took people onto the streets, now it is Digital ID…. However, it seems you can get yourself arrested for protesting about anything these days. The right to free speech has gone….well they think it has!

Whatever is happening South of the Border does not have to affect us, unless we choose to let it. We can say NO, and we do it by the Ballot box.

According to a recent poll, 79% of 16-24-year-old young people in Scotland support Independence. It’s time to harvest that vote and give them and our country hope again.

And on the subject of Polls, we all know that, if a Party conducts a poll and asks the right question to the right people, they are going to get the result they want. It appears that Labour are not the only ones playing that particular game!

LS really is the people’s party in Scotland, they got how important putting country before party was. You asked, they delivered!

The magic happens when the right people are in the right seats in Holyrood.

Every vote cast for an English-based party is a negative vote for Scotland.

Unless the people of Scotland act decisively next May, local democracy will disappear for good. What is happening in Taynuilt, is not a one-off, it is becoming the norm across the land. And don’t think for one minute the Scottish Government is on your side, because when push comes to shove, they will do as they are telt! Douglas Alexander through the Scottish Office will have the final say, and that translates to Westminster!

All of Scotland now comes under some kind of deal…..except a deal with the local people!

Westminster is sucking Scotland dry like a leech, and like any leech, to remove it you must start with the head!

2026 must be about removing Unionist parties from Scotland, then we move on to the second tier, the Devolutionists. And we do that by placing dedicated Independence people in Holyrood. People who will make sure that Holyrood runs in tandem with the outcome of the UN.

The UN can only make a declaration, it is up to the people of Scotland to move on it.

What we need now is…..

The door is still open for others to step up, and speak up for their local communities to bring back local Democracy.

The candidates already prepared to stand with LS have very loud voices and they will be heard, even around Taynuilt!!!

We should be increasing the types of democracy we have not decreasing it. Let’s get back to what worked pre-Union with the Burghs etc.

It’s called ‘People Power’!

The blueprints are all there; they just need modification, and it is ‘we’…..the people, who should be writing the script.

When it comes to scare stories and where they come from, I am reminded of a line in a well-known nursery rhyme.

“Fee-fi-fo-fum! I smell the blood of an Englishman”

I presume they are alluding to the fact that we will dispense with their WMDs once Independent. My position on these has always been, that rather than being a deterrent, they make us a target. And that is even before one gets into the moral issues.

Politicians use the Politics of Fear when all else fails. The idea is to make us all paranoid, where the questions we all ask ourselves start with, ‘what if’, because the ground beneath our feet is shaking.

Politicians want us to live in an uncertain world, so that they can do whatever they want under the guise of ‘fixing it’. And the sad thing is, we fall for it!

Scotland knows its worth and its wealth and there is nothing shaky about it. We hold the top hand in this poker game, we just need to learn when to use it.

It’s game on folks and you are part of it. Let’s show the Unionists, and Devolutionists our hand in May. The hand that says, ‘we are taking our country back’ from our colonial masters, and the change starts here!

We start to take our country back by making sure that when the Scottish Government invest money, they do so in local community enterprises not foreign companies that run off with the profits.

We need the profits to circulate not accumulate in someone’s bank account.

Let freedom replace fear.

Time is precious, and it’s also running out for Scotland, or at least, the Scotland we know and love.

I believe there is a time for everything and I believe now is the time for Scotland to fulfil its destiny. But there is no magic button to press, it is up to the people of this country to make it happen.

Scotland is made up of three parts, land, sea and people!

There are a lot of people investing a lot of time in our future, but this time will be wasted if we don’t get people out to vote next May.

We cannot control time but we can control how we use it. We have 7 months before we go to the ballot box. Last week in the Ayr By-Election the turnout was just 27%…….27% will not get us Independence, not now, not ever!

We have only 7 months to ignite the flame again! This election must be about Independence and nothing else.

Country before party or we are lost.

These parties are the only ones doing that!

It is not about saving a Party but saving Scotland and if our politicians are not up to it, then they must be removed from office…..and we can do that if we have a mind to.

Stop saying ‘if only’ and start saying ‘yes I can’. Your vote can change everything.

Those of us who understand the importance of 2026 must invest our time wisely.

Understanding how our voting system works is the key and this is surely where our main focus should be. When people realise they can win, they will turn out.

What is happening to Scotland is criminal.

Invest the time and we will beat the crime!

Memorandums of Understand, what are they and are they worth their weight in gold?

We hear a lot about these things when contracts are signed. I suppose one could say they are ‘add ons’ to a deal, I see them as ‘pacifiers’!!

Handshake promises added on when the two parties involved were not prepared to make them part of the legal contract. They make both sides look good in failure, but hold no weight legally! In short, they mean nothing.

Kate Forbes uses a lot of these in her Freeport deals, often around employment issues. She can at least say ‘I tried’!

But we don’t employ our ministers to just ‘try’ we expect them to do! Are we so desperate that we have to accept sub standard deals from what is often seemingly sub standard foreign companies. Companies that just want to rip us off.

It is the business of private businesses to make profits at the expense of others, it is not the business of MSPs to be enablers, neither should they be the enablers of Westminster.

We have to change the way the Scottish Government works and if the NuSNP won’t do it then let’s fill the place with radicals who will. People who will make Holyrood a little less ordinary and start to fight for Scotland and us, it’s people.

On Sunday I sat and listened to 5 of the Liberate Scotland [ISP] candidates tell us why they were standing, it was a humbling experience to be in such a group of reluctant heroes…..yes heroes. Ordinary people prepared to put their personal lives and ambitions on hold to do something our present incumbents of Holyrood won’t.

Ordinary folk with grit….the ‘sma folk’, who come with a lot of life experience.

No MOUs here, just a clear contract with the people of Scotland….

The route…..Decolonisation!

Independence asks questions of us all. Getting it is one thing, but then comes the, what after?

Where are the building blocks, where is the transition strategy?

It is one thing to want to run your own country but quite another to actually do it. At the moment we have more or less a blank canvas with a few ideas knocking around…..some very good I may add. But at what point do all these back-room groups get together to form a national strategy to take us forward?

The pieces in the jigsaw need to start coming together and that will require people who would not normally speak to each other, to start speaking. Everyone talks about the need for a Convention…..is there one planned…..I mean a real one?

It’s no use talking about a Convention, then to just invite the favoured few. All groups and all parties should be at the table, to do otherwise would just be controlling the narrative.

A full representation is essential.

You cannot build a house without a detailed plan, one that has passed scrutiny, creating a new country is no different. The devil is always in the details. Some things can be pliable others are set in stone…..like a new modern Constitution. But in the end it must be the people who give the final approval.

The question of ‘moving on or holding on’ is important. We must look at the kind of Democracy we have. Is the one we have worthy of simulation or can we aspire to something better?

Is it time to turn our politicians back to serving the country, rather than the masters they have become?

The ‘misstress’ who now runs our economy has gone from blaming geopolitics to blaming Thatcher for her even bigger black hole, she must have forgotten about the Blair years in between.

Either way, we in Scotland can plan to change the system and each one of us can have a say in how we do it.

Liberate Scotland offers that choice. They have switched the Hope light back on!

It’s not the easiest of things to be these days, but it’s that or go down the rabbit hole….and what use would that do?

Westminster would love us to disappear, and I am sure that one day soon we will be labelled as ‘traitors’…..but traitors to whom?…..to Westminster?…. well I can go with that!!

But I will never be a traitor to the Truth, and neither will be the people I know in Liberate Scotland.

Over the past week there has been a surge in the number of people enquiring about LS.

Ears are pricking up again, there is a rustle amongst the heather. Maybe honest John did us a favour after all.

Vote SNP1 is still the cry. I’m sorry, I just can’t vote for a Party who were, and still is determined to put women in danger.

But LS is only part of the answer, the biggest part is the People of Scotland, in other words YOU!

We are heading into winter, and all Holyrood can do is splash the cash everywhere, but not here — and don’t even mention not paying their Legal bills. Priorities on pet projects are still the name of the game with our present governing MSPs.

May is a Spring month, and in May 2026, we need to have a Spring clear-out, and I don’t mean just tinkering around the edges! Let’s start to think big.

Liberate Scotland is growing, not just in followers but also in Candidates, and the door is still open for more.

Don’t think of yourself as just being ‘ordinary’ therefore not able to step up. It was the ‘sma folk’ who rushed out of the woods at Bannockburn to win the battle with Bruce.

If I have learned anything in my long life, it is this, common sense comes before A Levels!!!

If you believe you have the ability to make a difference, then now is your time to step up.

When you read things like this, you know the world has gone crazy…….at least this part of it.

I wonder how many in the Cabinet have passed this exam, given their ex Deputy Leader left school at 15 without any GCSEs. This will not hold up with the ECHR.

But why make wild statements like that in the first place? It’s panic politics.

There are many in Scotland, who see the UN path as ‘crazy’, even though the evidence is proving otherwise.

Many also thought that the vision Liberate Scotland had was ‘crazy’, but they did it.

They turned ‘crazy’ into reality.

It is not crazy to seek something that is undeniably your right…..it would be crazy not to.

LS shares the same vision that you and I have, and together we can make it a reality. Each group [Party] in LS have their own manifestos, [policies to influence, not wild promises!!!]

But one promise was made, and has been delivered!

However, the priority is to be in government to ensure the governing party walks the Salvo/Liberation road.

Don’t underestimate the power of a few radical people in Holyrood who are determined, yes, determined to challenge the norm and change the system.

Now, the above makes interesting reading, which in turn makes one thing clear, we must engage with our young people. Apart from anything else, it will be they who will be taking Scotland forward.

The key to doing that is somewhere out there, and we must find it!

Sometimes we are slow to ‘get it’ but eventually the penny drops and we get there.

When it comes to ‘self-determination’ our MSPs just don’t get it, the clue is in the word, ‘SELF- determination’.

‘SELF’ means we do it ourselves, we don’t keep asking someone else for permission. Especially when that someone else has lied to us for hundreds of years.

This so-called United Kingdom is built on a lie, a lie that Salvo has exposed. However, I have a feeling that many MSPs and MPs already knew this.

Politics has become a lucrative business, with money a great incentive to some people. As far as I am concerned the word ‘Lobby’ just means bribe!

We have seen in the energy business and we have seen it regarding Israel.

But you won’t see it in Liberate Scotland!

Outcomes not incomes!

Next year they will be standing Candidates in Constituences and every Region. {List}

This is a huge opportunity to change the way things are done in Holyrood. Of course, the present occupants won’t like it……tough! The gravy train must be stopped and the real fight for Independence started.

Determination is the name of the game. LS were determined to prove Unity was possible and now they will prove what it can accomplish.

That doesn’t mean the rest of us can sit back and hibernate!!

We are all stakeholders in this fight for liberation.

Neither do we have time to keep falling out with one another. The world is watching and we need to earn their respect.

Social Media has the power to both build and destroy, depending on how we use it.
