The option of sitting back and expecting others to change things, is, no longer an option.
Because, it won’t happen!
Change does not start with others, it starts with US as individuals. That remark may not be welcomed by many, but it is true.
We need to stop complaining and start doing something about it. We need to stop being the victim and start taking our country back. Back to the Scotland we once knew.
I am so glad I was a ‘baby boomer’, I have lived through the best of times.
This kind of change will require different things from different people.
For some, it will require a change of thinking, not just from Party to Country but within Party politics itself. Is a Spring Clean required?
For others it may be even more personal, should I sit at home and just moan, or will I make my voice heard?
Perhaps though, the biggest change required is to get people out to vote in the first place. If Council Elections are anything to go by then we have failed already. The average turnout being about 20+%, with Bearsden being the exception recently with about 40+%.
These numbers if replicated in a Scottish Election will change nothing, or even worse, let the Unionists in.
But….you say….we don’t have sleeze and corruption in the Scottish Government! …….. Well, I would beg to differ!
From paedophiles having friends in high places to Freeports, there’s plenty to choose from!
But the wind of politics in Scotland is changing, a breath of fresh air has arrived. A place has arrived where people actually want to work together for the sake of their country. It’s a place where like-minded people can come together and choose to vote for Independence.
That place…..
Made by the PEOPLE for the People!
……. and importantly, made by people who are anti sleeze and corruption!
May, can be the start of something new, or should I say, the start of getting back to the values this country once held so dear. A place where we valued each other, a place where we felt safe.
If this is your dream also, then you will have to get out and fight for it, and if that means you becoming a rebel, then good! At least you will be a rebel with a cause!!

Joan I fervently believe in independence and have done all my life , at 75 I am sick of being inferred as racist because I want immigration to be discussed and controlled , The Alliance to Liberate Scotland was promoted as a unified group of political parties with one target in mind “INDEPENDENCE, NOTHING LESS NOTHING MORE” the focus was to be on the target of independence not policies promoted by the individual parties
I have watched and enjoyed the Prism since its formation and wholeheartedly agree with most of its content, the same with barrheadboy blog , but I have become increasingly disappointed at the spittle flecked inferences that anyone who disagrees or questions the current opinions of the participants on Prism on immigration holds RACIST views
I pointed out that we have had DECADES of political parties and politicians refusing to even consider discussing immigration and ignoring pleas from the electorate to do so , with the added attempt at vilification to silence objectors by insisting they were RACISTS, we even had sturgeon and company publicly calling demonstrators at covid crossings racists because they wanted Scotland minimised from covid carriers from elsewhere
I noted that on one of your previous posts you were intimating that there was incoming friendly fire trying to disrupt the movement , I had to step back and ask was that referring to me or my comment , if it was I can assure you that I am 100% DESPERATE for indy but I will not sit back and let people FORCE my opinions to be ignored , we have had centuries of that
If Alan or Roddy or Eva feel that uncontrolled immigration is of benefit to Scotland and Scots they have the right to voice their opinions , but I also have the right to disagree with them and their views without my opinions and me being inferred as racist
Not you!!!! and I empathise with your frustration, but LS are made up of 3 parties who are also standing individually in the Constituencies. Hence they promote their own policies. I have approved your comment because I feel your frustration is genuine!
