Who likes gravy?

2026 could be a good year for some MPs, as I believe a few are standing for Holyrood.

Q. How do you do two full time jobs at once?….and do them well!

A. You can’t!

Of course, it’s up to the voters as to whether this happens or not. And how we vote in May will show the world how much Independence means to us. This is why it should be a Plebiscite election.

Do we vote again for people who promised the earth, then put it all on the back burner because the status quo was more comfortable and profitable?

No ‘if’ about it….!!

Although Independence is about the country and its people, not politicians, we do need them to carry out the process after the Decolonisation ruling. This is why it is so important to put the right people in place. Not to do so will bring the whole train to a halt. Only you can keep the train moving!

Starmer has reiterated that Scotland will never be given another referendum. In doing so he reinforced the truth that we are not in an equal Union or on any other kind of parity. We are, what we are, a colony given minimal rights.

Please read that quote over and over again, and let it sink in!

…….and believe me, they do laugh at us!

Are you happy with that?

Well I know one group who are not, and they are hell bent on changing things.

Now is the time to start putting your energy into the real deal with real people. Liberate Scotland will speak for people who feel they have no voice…..why?….. because they know what it’s like to be ignored.

But LS is about much more than listening, they believe in change, big change! Changes to the system.

Independence without real change is not real Independence! In an independent Scotland, we do not need a Westminster-style copycat government; we need to think outside the box and create a governing system that works for our unique circumstances.

Each party within this group may have different ideas about this, and that is good, but that is for the future. For now, they have united around one thing and one thing only and that is getting us over the mountain to Independence.

If that is also your priority, then this is your group.

Under the same umbrella!

2026 has arrived and with it comes a huge responsibility. Only we can decide what happens here in Scotland over the next few months……and few there are, only 4.

What was your New Year’s resolution?

If it had anything to do with Independence, then there is only one umbrella to get under.

Unity will win over division every time. Throughout history, it has been left to the few to get things done!

Q. Why is there so much division amongst Yessers?

What is the cause of it and can we bridge the divide?

The way I see it, two main factors are driving this divide. First, there are those deep within the Yes movement who are really Unionists, positioned to rock the boat. I would like to say their messages are subliminal, but they are not because they are not that clever!

I am not into political psychology but many are and my ear is to the ground!!

Secondly, there are the egos! The ones who want to be ‘top dog’ or think they are entitled to be.

That sense of entitlement can come in many forms, the main one in Scotland being the expectation of constant recognition for past results… past being the operative word!!

…..add to that the ones who think they should be at the top of the greasy pole and riding the gravy train because their egos tell them so!

But the real heroes are the few who just want to get the job done, and that is no easy task. First they have to climb over that mountain of egos!

The one thing we cannot afford in Scotland is, to continue to reward failure.

A new year brings new opportunities and we must not be afraid to take them. We have nothing to lose in doing so, but everything to gain.

The ‘Hawkes’ are circling and want to take us to war once more. Do not be fooled again, this is not about defence, it is about power. It’s about rattling the rattlesnake until it bites then blaming the snake for defending itself. NATO is the problem, always has been and always will be! It has become the powerhouse of broken promises, and that is the opinion of an ex-army man!

It is time for Scotland to stand firmly on its own feet and the process starts in May.

Be part of the new journey.
