Just words……..

Words are important, they hold meaning and power, and the reframing or adding onto them can change everything.

Yesterday, at PMs questions Starmer added three words to a promise made.

In an answer to the opposition leaders Q about how much energy prices had dropped, not only was the first part questionable, but he then added, “that’s on top of the £150 we’ve taken off last year for the 3m poorest families.”

Since when was the promise to reduce energy bills for the poorest families only?

Starmer is a Lawyer, so he knows the importance of words and how to use them. The adding of a word here and there can morph the whole meaning of a promise and he hopes we won’t notice!

As Prime Minister it is his job to defend the people, not act as a Prosecutor!

We are being persecuted for their choices. Choices that have been made for the benefit of the few.

We cannot let the Devolutionists in the Scottish Government kick the Independence can further down the road, because very soon that road will run out and the Scotland we know will no longer exist.

We are now in, what could referred to as ‘the last chance saloon’! By the time we come to the next GE [2029] all of the deregulated Freeports and special zones will have kicked in and there’s no going back. All these deals have been neatly wrapped up in the ISDS chains.[ the legal framework that binds all the deals, and there’s no escape!]

…..and the terrifying thing is, our SNP government knows this!

Both Starmer and Reeves seem to think that all Yessers are SNP! Well, it’s time to show them that the cause for Independence belongs to all Scots!

Holyrood could make 2026 a plebiscite election, we must pressure them to do so.

Every Yes vote must be counted as a vote for Independence, not to do so would be an act of self-harm.

Waiting is no longer an option, the Freeport virus is spreading, don’t buy into the lie of waiting until 2029!

  1. Weasel words from Starmer. There, are msny more than 3,000 families in need abd £150 off their fuel bills is not enough to mske a difference, though it is probably barely enough to cover a meal out for Starmer or his rich cronies.

I am not hopeful about Scotlznds prospects in next years,Holyrood election. very much doubt that the,SNP will get a majority on their own, or even with help from other Indy parties that neither they nor Westminster will recognise (though the international community might).

Even if that were to happen, I doubt the SNP would declare Independence, as all it seems prepared to do, is to ask nicely for another referendum which will not be granted, even though it eiuld be on Westminster terms, franchise etc abd with all the interference from a hostile Unionist media we had in 2014.

Even if it were to declare Indeoendence, I do not trust them to negotiate a fair settlement in order tovreturn Scotlabd to the democratic country it once was, where the prople were dovereign in fact, not ib name only, we had full control of all our resources, and a voice and presence in world affairs.

    Indeoendence, nothing less, nothing else.
