Homegrown is always best!

When it comes to the good things in life, homemade is always the best.

Governments force people down the ‘cheapest’ route. It’s all about imports and exports. Margaret Thatcher started it all when she closed the coalmines to import coal from Russia, and just look at where that has taken us today. We are reliant on nearly everything from other countries….and it gets worse….we sell energy and import energy!! It sounds crazy and it is crazy.

It’s all about trade and economics, not forgetting profits!!

The English made political parties don’t give one jot about the people. The thought of being self-sufficient is a great big NO.

Trade is important, Scotland was aways better at it than England, that was part of the problem as far back as the 1600-1700s.

But with ‘cheap’ come problems. It means closing down industries, it can also lead to a very unhealthy nation which in turn means running a very expensive NHS [SNHS]

The balance has tipped as profits are put before people.

Farms are being decimated in favour of private energy firms in the name of ‘net zero’.

Fishermen have been sold down the river….not to mention the dodgy salmon!

Scotland was always known for producing the best of everything, from food to clothes. Yes, they were more expensive but they lasted. Unfortunately, we now live in a society that runs on today’s fashion and cheap throwaway clothes.

Takeaways have replaced healthy meals.

At school, I was taught how to cook and sew enhanced by my mother’s teaching at home. Am I being over critical when I say education these days strives more on attainment rather than common sense and practicalities?

Old is not useless, and we can get back to the best of it. As someone said, ‘we have the means, we just need the power’!!

To do that we need to be Independent and rise again to the nation we once were.

Let’s rewrite the rules!

We are not products of our circumstances, we are products of our choices. Our choice now is, do we better ourselves or stay in a rut?

Say No to the flow…

At present, we cannot stop this, and the reason we can’t is because we have an SNP government who has refused to use the mandate given to them.

They say, ‘these are reserved matters’, with Holyrood just being a devolved Parliament.

The mandate, given by the people of Scotland, was to get us independence. Something they have failed spectacularly to do. If a school report was to be written it would say either ‘didn’t try harder enough’ or ‘try harder’!

Continually knocking on a locked door is not good enough. It shows either complicity or a lack of ingenuity.

The only people not looking in on themselves at the moment in Scotland are Liberate Scotland.

The rest, and this includes some ‘groups’, are so busy trying to save themselves, they have forgotten their purpose……the People! Then of course there are those who when it comes to Independence will try and destroy from within.

They fan the flames when fires appear.

In the end though, it will be the determination of the people of Scotland who will win the day.

But just how determined are we?

These people are very determined!

Sometimes, if you can’t stop the flow, you have to be flexible enough to go with it by changing the negatives into positives. “One man’s rubbish is another man’s gold.”

Scotlands future possibilities are endless, get that into our heads and we can win this.

Our present SNP government has no flexibility because it lacks the courage to challenge Westminster on the big issues like the Constitution.

Why keep rolling over, when you can step over?

Salvo have produced the tool, and we now know Scotland was ‘captured’ illegally and without the people’s say. And the UN is the stage to highlight that truth.

Liberate Scotland, will not roll over to anyone or any organisation.

They remain focused on the task at hand. Independence!

There’s always the other half……

“The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth” is never told these days.

Whilst the media berate [and quite rightly to] William and Starmer for attending this sham, let us not forget who else was there living the high life….

And yes, I do believe in Climate Change, but this annual event is rapidly changing into a ‘jolly’ with no serious outcomes.

Outcomes are vital if there is to be any change. Unfortunately leaders and politicians are hand in hand with the big oil cartels, so no, nothing will change. The USA attacks in the seas of Venezuela have nothing to do with drugs but everything to do with oil and rare minerals….It was the same in Gaza.

The big C is not Covid it is Corruption, and that my friends, touches us all.

From Lobbying to expenses to tax dodges, we see stories every day, and 99% of the time, politicians are involved. Unfortunately, anyone engaged in politics gets tainted by association.

…..and such a storm hit us face on Wednesday with that sudden statement from the JPTi. Now it is certainly not my intention to give my opinion, as I probably know less than any of you, and legal matters are not my forte.

But I will share the first thought or question that came into my mind, “why did the JPTi put that statement up on social media in the first place”?

And there I leave it, because the ground is still shaking beneath our feet and I will not feed the bear.

Scotland has always been under attack and we have a Scottish Government paralysed in fear. Their lips move, but nothing of substance comes out.

Liberate Scotland will come out fighting from day 1.

If you think Unity is easy, then think again. The first thing you have to do is lay down your swords, followed by your own personal ambitions. Then find your focus. For LS that focus was and is Independence.

Coming from all walks of life, and groups, they are not constricted by ‘whips’ and with much life experience, they know the importance of flexibility.

This ‘cool’ gang won’t be thrown off track by anybody!

If change is needed, change will happen, and we certainly need that.

It is called Direct Democracy!

The cost of not voting.

Raise your hands if you belong to the Apathy Party, [as Allan Petrie from I4I calls it.]

Looking at present-day voting habits, I guess quite a few have done so!

I don’t think I am quite off the mark when I say that low voting numbers suit the goverment quite well, given the barriers they have put in place.

We know that in a GE it doesn’t matter how we vote in Scotland, the results are determined by the English vote. But it says something about our kind of Democracy when even they can’t be bothered to vote.

What is the price of Apathy and how does that cost trickle down to our pockets?

Profits to the rich equate to pennies for us.

Apathy suggests indifference, and indifference opens the door to corruption.

And what better way to open the doors to corruption than by introducing unregulated Freeports?

……. MOUs just don’t cut it!

Every one of these is going to hit you in your pocket as Local Authorities struggle to meet local demands. Council Tax rises way above inflation… You are being gubbed!

Follow the money at all levels and then understand how important your vote is.

The words often spoken are, ‘but what can I do about it’?

This shows one thing, people do not believe their voice is heard let alone taken notice of. To change that perception we have to change the system. Unfortunately that means you have to vote! ….. but vote for the right change and the people willing to make that change.

LS is deeply focused on change, that is their sole purpose for existing.

But one thing they won’t do is jump on bandwagons and we have seen a few lately. They don’t re-act, they respond where and when necessary.

We have seen lately what happens when politicians are bumped into reacting…No10 being the prime example.

What doesn’t help however here in Scotland, or anywhere for that matter, is when a group you would expect support from tries to put a spoke in your wheels. How one responds to that shows effective leadership.

Liberate Scotland does all three.

In times of turbulence we need a calm hand on the wheel.

Have we got it?

If not, only your Vote can change that.

Who is willing to take responsibility?

These days, when something goes wrong, leaders, be they political or otherwise have a habit of running off into the hills.

Someone else is always to blame. The ‘buck’ rarely stops at the top!

Leadership is about taking responsibility; that does not necessarily mean stepping down. We are all human and we all make mistakes. A true leader is someone who can own up to a mistake and fix it.

When it comes to Scotland, the task of fixing past errors is huge and I don’t just mean the ones in the 1700s! I mean the repeated ones made by the Scottish Government in not acting on the mandate given by us the People.

Independence is the hope that lies within the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail itself is the cup, but it is who is now carrying that cup that is important.

Whoever it is, the one thing they cannot do is think of themselves as being above reproach. Be it a political party or otherwise.

It is the duty of all who seek Independence to seek clarity when questions arise. We cannot have people afraid to ask questions.

Our FM went to his conference, more or less asking for a blank cheque, and he got it! A few hints regarding his plans have since emerged…..like a row of carrots. Why wait until 2029 when they could act now? I guess the original plans must be lying on a shelf somewhere, covered in dust! The SNP have lost so much credibility it must be asked….is it too late for them?

What we need now is a Political party [group] to stand in the breach. People who will take responsibility for their actions.

The blueprint for Independence is out there, and Liberate Scotland is prepared to run with it. It is not a sprint it is a marathon…..are you a marathon runner?

If we invest our time now wisely, we will reap the rewards.

This particular Holy Grail must be carried by all.

Can Scotland come together…?

If there is one thing people hate, it is being ignored. Egos need an audience.

People with big egos usually have a lot to say, they like the sound of their own voice.

…..but their words usually lack substance.

If you have ever sat on a committee you will know what I mean. So beware of committees full of egos, they will bore you to death😂

…….and I may add, have the ability to knock the train off its tracks. In the Commons it’s called filibustering!

For Scotland to come together we need groups and committees to come together to be determined to act, not just talk.

It is a fact that if the SNP were serious about Independence they could act tomorrow! They have the power to dissolve Parliament and call an Election at any time….even a plebiscite one, so why wait until 2029? Westminster would probably not recognise it, but it would be noted elsewhere…….but it won’t happen because they are not serious about Independence. Devolution is the name of their game!

Devolution allows the SNP to make noises, empty threats, but that’s all.

Liberate Scotland is onto a good thing and the people are catching on….when the old stops working, it’s time to try something new.

When things go wrong politicians blame others, we need people in power, who when things go wrong will :

Re-set

Re-adjust

Re-start and Re-focus.

A new kind of politician

What an indictment on this country!

I guess what this veteran is saying is, ‘everything we fought for has gone’, and he is right.

The country I have grown up in, is no more. Every country evolves but most into something new and vibrant….not ours. We are teetering on the edge of anarchy with a government too scared to take action.

Devolution is the chain around our necks that binds us to a government south of the border that rules by force and is at war with itself.

Good governance ‘acts’ they do not ‘react’. When you ‘react’ you are not in control…..you allow the situation to control you! In other words.…..you panic and make bad decisions.

Scotland could do so much better…..if only!

If only we had the self belief.

If only we had the courage.

If only we would work together.

Liberate Scotland has all three and much more!

Nothing focuses your mind more than being angry, and they are angry!!

Angry because we have been lied to for hundreds of years.

Angry because our wealth is being stolen from us.

Angry because we have so much poverty in a country of plenty.

Angry because we have been made complicit in genocide.

Angry because we are denied a say in our own future.

But Liberate Scotland uses this anger wisely……it is what makes them stand up and say NO MORE!

It focuses them on the task ahead.

And that task is to make sure that the right people are seated in Holyrood ready to further the purposes of Salvo/Liberation, which leads to Independence.

It also focuses them on the truth, it comes to something when AI can tell the truth where our present politicians can’t!!

I think AI will become the new enemy of politicians.😂😂

It is time to step up, it is time to remember that Independence will never be given, therefore it must be taken!

The ‘broadest church in town’!

It is a fact, that the Truth often takes us out of our comfort zones.

It is also a fact that Liberate Scotland will never shirk from telling it.

Truth tells us what the problem is and we can fix that. Lies on the other hand can never be fixed and the problems just grow.

The broad church of people within Liberate Scotland offers a new kind of politics built on Unity and truth.

We now see, almost on a daily basis how low Labour MPs are prepared to go. At least Reform are honest about how low they are going to take us! Lower Pensions, lower benefits, lower minimum wage and NO NHS! …… think on that for a while.

I’ve said this before and I will repeat it, the problem is not that there isn’t enough money, the problem is where it is spent. Westminster priorites are not the People…..we come at the bottom of the pile.

It is no different in Scotland.

When you know your MSPs belong to BAP, you know we have a problem. I am always suspicious of ‘special relationships’….. especially this one.

Freeports are anything but Free! One of the biggest costs is that of not being able to rejoin the EU even if we wanted to…..but do we? Many argue for EFTA.

As I scroll through SM these days, the thing that strikes me is the amount of infighting within parties.

This is not a good look to those who already see ‘politics’ as a joke. Perhaps part of the problem is that there is a blurring of lines between ‘partnerships’ [people working together] and friendships. They are two entirely different ships! But by blurring the lines, people feel hurt when disagreements arise, and being human, they seek revenge! The problem is they do it for all to see!!

Perhaps that is why people are being drawn to Liberate Scotland, the place where relationships are kept on a professional footing. They know Unity can only work like this.

The important things in life.

Friday night was Halloween, the night people dress up pretending to be someone else.

It’s amazing how many do this all the time….without the dressing up bit!

…..and it is on the political stage where all things are played out. They learn their lines quickly…..or is it lies? The first lesson being, how to handle the media and questions….in particular, how not to answer them!

But the one thing they forget is, the media never forgets. Anything, and I mean anything said, including promises is recorded forever.

The candidates that will stand for the ISP will not come armed with tricks, they will come as themselves and they will make waves!

And that is the greatest gift [treat] any person can give to another…..to be themselves!

They say that when you stand at the bottom of the ladder, the only way us up.

The same applies to smaller political parties, they can only grow as others may fall. Many Independence activists are seeking a new home; the ISP are but one, one that believes in unity, and they have strived endlessly to make that happen.

Unionists hate the idea of Unity, their mantra is ‘divide and conquer’. Wełl, no thank you, not any more, we know who our friends are and we will work with them.

This is the winning hand, and we will play it…

Here in Glasgow we keep hearing the words, ‘Let Glasgow flourish’ well I say ‘Let Scotland flourish’, let us together bring Scotland to its full potential. Then and only then will the People flourish.

We don’t need a Bill to help us die, we need policies to help us live, and to live with dignity. We need a Scotland working for Scotland, not foreign conglomerates.

Next May let’s put our money on Scotland, not Westminster.

Taking a wee break now…..see you soon!
