How often do we hear the words ‘I hate politics’? This is because we only relate the word to governments and their decisions.
The real meaning behind the word politics is Power, and like it or not we all play that game every day. There is a ‘power broker’ in every household. He/she who makes the rules is the political ruler of that family. Your boss, plays politics every day.

We rarely see or hear an honest politician because no matter how good his or her initial intentions were….. they will be turned. That is the nature of Party Politics, they demand loyalty and that is why they have ‘whips’.
It is how that ‘power’ is used that matters to us all.
Here in Scotland we have experienced both good and bad in how our government have used their power. Many of us would say that when it came to the GRA it was an abuse of power, one that I guess many women will not forget next May!
Now they want to introduce a Bill that allows abortions up to the time of birth!…. think about that for a minute. Was this in their manifesto 5 years ago? Would you have voted for it?
But let us not forget the real power brokers……the men in grey suits aided and abetted by the bad actors planted within many of the groups and Parties in Scotland.
Not all Yesers are Yesers! As I said, politics can be played out on any stage.
Let Scotland be measured by its achievements, past, present and future. What we build now will be for our children and grandchildren, we cannot let them down.
Those we put into power next May will have the chance to bring about the change we need.
It is change we need, not continuity……let the rebels rise!

The choices we make next May will decide not only the route Scotland will take but will also show the kind of people we are. Do we allow our MSPs to do their own thing once in power or do we, the people take that power away from them by introducing Direct Democracy?
It’s a numbers game, we need people in Holyrood that can hold the balance of power and hold the main parties to their promises……and no hidden agendas!
Liberate Scotland is made up of such people. They are your people.
They will stand up whilst others cower!
