Move on or hold on?

Independence asks questions of us all. Getting it is one thing, but then comes the, what after?

Where are the building blocks, where is the transition strategy?

It is one thing to want to run your own country but quite another to actually do it. At the moment we have more or less a blank canvas with a few ideas knocking around…..some very good I may add. But at what point do all these back-room groups get together to form a national strategy to take us forward?

The pieces in the jigsaw need to start coming together and that will require people who would not normally speak to each other, to start speaking. Everyone talks about the need for a Convention…..is there one planned…..I mean a real one?

It’s no use talking about a Convention, then to just invite the favoured few. All groups and all parties should be at the table, to do otherwise would just be controlling the narrative.

A full representation is essential.

You cannot build a house without a detailed plan, one that has passed scrutiny, creating a new country is no different. The devil is always in the details. Some things can be pliable others are set in stone…..like a new modern Constitution. But in the end it must be the people who give the final approval.

The question of ‘moving on or holding on’ is important. We must look at the kind of Democracy we have. Is the one we have worthy of simulation or can we aspire to something better?

Is it time to turn our politicians back to serving the country, rather than the masters they have become?

The ‘misstress’ who now runs our economy has gone from blaming geopolitics to blaming Thatcher for her even bigger black hole, she must have forgotten about the Blair years in between.

Either way, we in Scotland can plan to change the system and each one of us can have a say in how we do it.

Liberate Scotland offers that choice. They have switched the Hope light back on!

Forever the Optimist!

It’s not the easiest of things to be these days, but it’s that or go down the rabbit hole….and what use would that do?

Westminster would love us to disappear, and I am sure that one day soon we will be labelled as ‘traitors’…..but traitors to whom?…..to Westminster?…. well I can go with that!!

But I will never be a traitor to the Truth, and neither will be the people I know in Liberate Scotland.

Over the past week there has been a surge in the number of people enquiring about LS.

Ears are pricking up again, there is a rustle amongst the heather. Maybe honest John did us a favour after all.

Vote SNP1 is still the cry. I’m sorry, I just can’t vote for a Party who were, and still is determined to put women in danger.

But LS is only part of the answer, the biggest part is the People of Scotland, in other words YOU!

We are heading into winter, and all Holyrood can do is splash the cash everywhere, but not here — and don’t even mention not paying their Legal bills. Priorities on pet projects are still the name of the game with our present governing MSPs.

May is a Spring month, and in May 2026, we need to have a Spring clear-out, and I don’t mean just tinkering around the edges! Let’s start to think big.

Liberate Scotland is growing, not just in followers but also in Candidates, and the door is still open for more.

Don’t think of yourself as just being ‘ordinary’ therefore not able to step up. It was the ‘sma folk’ who rushed out of the woods at Bannockburn to win the battle with Bruce.

If I have learned anything in my long life, it is this, common sense comes before A Levels!!!

If you believe you have the ability to make a difference, then now is your time to step up.

Crazy days….

When you read things like this, you know the world has gone crazy…….at least this part of it.

I wonder how many in the Cabinet have passed this exam, given their ex Deputy Leader left school at 15 without any GCSEs. This will not hold up with the ECHR.

But why make wild statements like that in the first place? It’s panic politics.

There are many in Scotland, who see the UN path as ‘crazy’, even though the evidence is proving otherwise.

Many also thought that the vision Liberate Scotland had was ‘crazy’, but they did it.

They turned ‘crazy’ into reality.

It is not crazy to seek something that is undeniably your right…..it would be crazy not to.

LS shares the same vision that you and I have, and together we can make it a reality. Each group [Party] in LS have their own manifestos, [policies to influence, not wild promises!!!]

But one promise was made, and has been delivered!

However, the priority is to be in government to ensure the governing party walks the Salvo/Liberation road.

Don’t underestimate the power of a few radical people in Holyrood who are determined, yes, determined to challenge the norm and change the system.

Now, the above makes interesting reading, which in turn makes one thing clear, we must engage with our young people. Apart from anything else, it will be they who will be taking Scotland forward.

The key to doing that is somewhere out there, and we must find it!

Self-determination?

Sometimes we are slow to ‘get it’ but eventually the penny drops and we get there.

When it comes to ‘self-determination’ our MSPs just don’t get it, the clue is in the word, ‘SELF- determination’.

‘SELF’ means we do it ourselves, we don’t keep asking someone else for permission. Especially when that someone else has lied to us for hundreds of years.

This so-called United Kingdom is built on a lie, a lie that Salvo has exposed. However, I have a feeling that many MSPs and MPs already knew this.

Politics has become a lucrative business, with money a great incentive to some people. As far as I am concerned the word ‘Lobby’ just means bribe!

We have seen in the energy business and we have seen it regarding Israel.

But you won’t see it in Liberate Scotland!

Outcomes not incomes!

Next year they will be standing Candidates in Constituences and every Region. {List}

This is a huge opportunity to change the way things are done in Holyrood. Of course, the present occupants won’t like it……tough! The gravy train must be stopped and the real fight for Independence started.

Determination is the name of the game. LS were determined to prove Unity was possible and now they will prove what it can accomplish.

That doesn’t mean the rest of us can sit back and hibernate!!

We are all stakeholders in this fight for liberation.

Neither do we have time to keep falling out with one another. The world is watching and we need to earn their respect.

Social Media has the power to both build and destroy, depending on how we use it.

Be ‘determined’ not to let your ‘self’ down……that is ‘Self determination’!!

The digital dog tag!

“In the beginning,” it was all about immigration, citing the promise in their manifesto to control it, but slowly the truth has been revealed. In short, it’s about total control, even of 13-year-olds. The smart phone companies must be rubbing their hands with glee!

Another truth that has slipped out is, trials of these things have already been hacked twice!

Oh, and another thing, Blair’s son will get the contract; that alone does not fill me with much confidence. This is what is wrong with politics and politicians these days…. back-room deals amongst pals.

Now, honest John says he will block them in Scotland, I truly wish him well on that one, because so far Holyrood has failed to block anything of importance. It is a Reserved matter!

But, let’s get back to promises and words in manifestos, because we need to learn a lesson here.

The ‘how’ is just as important as ‘we will’, and it is a question we must always ask. Yesterday we saw the SNP members hand their leader a blank cheque. The ‘I’m not going to tell you my plan’ was greeted with much enthusiasm….after the last 5 years, I would have thought lessons would have been learned….especially by women!

Hard questions must always be asked, and this group will do it, if no one else will.

Sometimes we have to challenge the words not written or said, especially when a Party has form!

The digital dog tag will be a chain around our necks, curtailing every freedom we thought we had, and who will have access to all of our information? Our medical records are already being sold off.

We constantly live under an umbrella of lies, we can choose to remain so or we can opt out. But opting out means bold choices……who is up for that…..Liberate Scotland is!

The Decolonisation route is the boldest route ever taken and LS are definitely supporting it.

Is it time to cause a political earthquake and make sure the right people hold the balance of power in Holyrood next year?

You hold the power to change things…..you are Sovereign!

The empty box!

I have a question!

For months now people around the world have taken to the streets in their millions in protest about Palestine. But have any of these protests actually changed their countries’ policies?

No!

Protests are important, they allow people to show their discontent, but when it comes to influencing change, how effective are they? Does Starmer and his cohort even care about the anger vented on the streets, apart from the fact they cause a nuisance….I doubt it very much.

Why is that?

I believe that over the years, we the people have been sleepwalking into a trap, the trap of disengagement! We are so bored with politics now that we don’t even come out and vote. Game over as far as politicians are concerned, they have won. The less the people vote, the more power they have! All they have to do is to get their ‘faithful’ out to vote, and offer a few more carrots!

On Saturday, SNP members gave their leader an equivalent amount of power when they voted for a ‘I’m not telling anyone’ plan!

The words we continually hear from people are, ‘I’m not interested in politics’! Yet politics affects everything we do and have.

Politics = policies, which affect each one of us, from the price of our energy and food to how we access our services…..or not in many cases.

Power and change start here…

Not on the streets.

And until we re-engage with the ballot box, nothing will change.

We need to flip the switch in our brains, from protest to ballot box.

The need to do this is urgent, because the world is changing rapidly before our eyes and the outlook is not good.

Next year we have a chance to make the first steps of stepping off the madness that surrounds us. We can do this by using the ballot box and putting a different kind of politician into Holyrood.

There are some extraordinary people out there willing to do their bit, for a short time…..I say ‘short’ because they are not ‘grifters’, their aim is to facilitate the changes that will be required post UN Decolonisation decision. For them it is about outcomes not incomes, they stand out of need not greed!

Before that even happens though, we have to engage with the disengaged and help them see the power of the ballot box.

Protest by all means, it shows your commitment but let it go hand in hand with your vote.

That ‘muted’ applause.

When the applause becomes muted and polite, you know you have a problem.

Whether we like it or not, we are all stakeholders in what is happening in Aberdeen this weekend. Because this conference is about our future and who will run the country post-2026 Election.

And the faithful all said Amen!

In what world does the Leader say, ‘Nobody knows the tactics I’m going to employ if we…….’ and all the followers rise to their feet in support?

I sometimes feel I am reliving a world I was in 40+ years ago, when the Leader would say, ‘God spoke to me’ and all the faithful said amen…..turned out I stopped being one of the faithful!!!

There comes a time when the penny drops, and I can only hope the SNP Rebels find a safe haven.

To put all your faith in the leadership of a party that failed to act on the mandate it had, and then goes on to say, I have a plan, but I’m not telling you, is beyond belief. It’s a cult mentality.

Liberate Scotland is more important now than it ever was. It’s turning out to be a momentous weekend for all seeking the road for Independence. With Ash leaving Alba and the McEleny debacle and now this, many voters could end up feeling disenfranchised.

This is not about gloating, it is a fact that Liberate Scotland still offers a radical alternative. One that supports the Salvo/ Liberation route.

Remember;

Hope is still there, it never left.

We just need to refocus; it’s about Independence, not Party.

No Party, owns your vote unless you want it to. Vote for Scotland!

The choice is still yours.

Be mindful…..

When we react instead of respond we can create ripples, and those when left unchecked can turn into waves.

You can tell an election is coming when people get very tetchy and possessive over all manner of things.

Labour is in panic mode just now, what we need up here is calm methodical thinking….. It’s called strategy!

That is why we must guard our words because everyone is watching and they will always interpret to suit their own agendas.

Where we are now is but a chapter in Scotlands history and we will be judged by future generations.

When Liberate Scotland was created, it was in response to a cry for unity. They did the impossible….or what was deemed impossible by many.

Unity comes through focus, focus on one thing, not by trying to agree on all things.

The focus for LS was quite simply…

If you agree with this concept, then this is your Party.

Devolution does not even cross their minds.

Devolution says you can go so far but no further! It was a loose chain, but a chain nonetheless.

Freeports and SEZs are another link in the chain of Devolutionism. In fact, anything that comes north from Westminster, marked “special” comes with a chain attached.

Every party working within Liberate Scotland knows the hidden meaning of ‘special’ and they are having none of it.

They are not for sale, nor will they be groomed for special attention by anyone.

Any ripples they cause will be in Holyrood!

Our choice is simple, hold onto what we have now, or move on to a future full of possibilities.

When the right hand is not in sync with the left one!

A ‘fresh start and the EU’, wow that is some promise……except it isn’t!

That fresh start, we all know the benefits Independence will bring……nothing fresh there.

Both votes SNP! …..nothing fresh there.

Seeking a new Referendum….nothing fresh there either, not even Westminsters reply!!

Even demanding will not help with a government that ignores International rulings.

But all that aside, let’s look at what Swinney is doing with his left hand.

By continuing with the devolution plan of Freeports etc, he is making sure we cannot reconnect with the EU. So as to even mention it, is hypocritical, either that or he just doesn’t understand their rules regarding deregulated Freeports.

Don’t be taken in by the words ‘Fresh start’, we should never have needed any ‘fresh starts’ had they been brave enough to act on the mandate they had….then lost!

What we need now is bold, new parties with a determination to act, not sit and beg.

We need People Power, and this lot have heaps of it.

They are indeed an extraordinary group of people with vision and determination.

And the amazing thing is, they are no different from you or me. They don’t come with Titles or money, just guts!

That gives me hope for Scotlands future.

They are following on from the extraordinary people who have gone before and this is a Congo dance we can all join.

It’s time to celebrate….

Unity only works when you unite with the right people!

The road to nowhere…

Sat Navs are wonderful things… usually.

It would be very helpful if our FM would tell us his route to Independence. By that I mean, where will he go after Westminster says NO again!

It would appear that his party is not the only one travelling along a Rocky Road at the moment.

When the foundations of any political party start to veer off course, the storms always come from within. Cracks appear, some the size of caverns, as disgruntled members vent their anger at someone or something, all played out on social media!

The optics within the Independence movement are not very good just now, so much so, that I often wonder just who the good actors are.

But eventually the bad actors always show their real colours.

…..and there is a lot of biting going on just now!

We have two choices ahead of us, do we liberate or capitulate?

Liberate Scotland has made their choice……it’s in the name, and it’s the only place fuelled by Unity.

You don’t have to be the main Party in government, but you do have to be the right Party to make a difference.

Capitulation is easy, you throw your hands up in the air and walk away, Liberate Scotland is made of sterner stuff. Theyre rolling up their sleeves and working their socks off for you and Scotland, and all at their own expense.

No grifters here……just grafters!
