Resilience…

Ever heard of Kintsugi? [Japanese]

“It’s a celebration of resilience, a testament to our ability to heal and grow, and a reminder that we, like the bowl, can become more beautiful and stronger for our scars.”

When I used to interview people for a position, one of the questions I asked along with, ‘What are your strengths’ was ‘What are your weaknesses’? You would be surprised at the number of people who thought they had none, or even annoyed that I dared to ask the question.

Remember the film, ‘The Eagles Have Landed’? Well, I believe that within the Independence movement, many egos have definitely landed.

We are either one in this fight or we are nothing.

Dark influences are at work in Scotland just now. Another kind of invasion is trying to take over, and it spells trouble. It’s called the Far Right.

This flag represents ‘Inclusion’, and yet in some parts of the country, it is being flown with a more insidious meaning.

Whatever is happening within our cities just now, it is not the fault of people but political choices and policies….. or the lack of.

And the only way to sort out any problems in Scotland is to do so from a Scottish perspective. For that, we need Independence and a government run by the people, for the people.

And if you think the only choice is between the two main parties, then you have not been paying attention.

A choice is a choice even if it’s a new choice!

And when I say new, I also mean daring!

Liberate Scotland are the metaphorical gold that is mending the broken bowl, that is Scottish politics. They are honouring the journey of those who have gone before, like Margo MacDonald, Iain Lawson and Alex Salmond etc.

And through their resilience, we can win!
