Running in the fast lane…..

We often hear the phrase, ‘its not a sprint, it’s a marathon’. It is one I often think about when it comes to political parties, particularly the smaller ones.

Problems occur, especially financial ones when small parties try to run in the fast lane with the so-called big boys. They try to simulate them in every way, forgetting why they left in the first place!

Yes, money helps but it is not the be-all and end-all of everything. It’s people who make a party tick!

It’s the ‘sma folk’ who will rush out of the woods to get your back.

Liberate Scotland is building an army of ‘sma folk’. They are not interested in the ‘fast lane’ or trying to jump on the ‘gravy train’. They want to run a good, honest race to the end, even if it is a hurdle race, and become influencers.

Don’t decry the volunteer, they are fueled by passion not position.

Their souls are not for sale, and they will fight tooth and nail for Scotlands soul.

Passions are running high and we need to harness that energy. If we are going to fly the Saltire, let’s do it for the right reasons.

Make the Edinburgh AUOB count!

I don’t care who runs these things, lets just get together and make it happen.

It’s time to stop being so possessive of our little corners and focus on the prize.

I am Scotland before I am ISP.

What are you?
