Sometimes in life you just have to take matters into your own hands, that is what those involved in Liberate Scotland are doing!

And don’t think for one minute this is an easy task, it is like taking part in an obstacle race with everything stacked against us.

Although the Electoral Commission has been very helpful in helping Liberate Scotland prepare to form a Party, let us not forget they operate under Westminster rules…..and those rules are never going to favour anyone but the bigger parties.

One thing is for sure, to make the changes required in Holyrood to accommodate a possible favourable decision at the UN, personal sacrifices will have to be made. It has to be the country before the Party and self last on this occasion. And if individuals can’t see that then they are in the wrong business. This is not the time for egos!

Believe me, your ego is not your friend and will cost you friends, but we will not allow it to cost Scotland.

Most will eventually drift off and do their own thing.

Liberate Scotland is offering hope to Scotland once again, hope to all those thousands who feel politically homeless. A unifying voice for Scotland once again!

We can do this, we must do this or we lose Scotland.

Scotland is being sold off under our noses under the guise of Privatisation. There is a huge difference between buying private services and handing complete control over to private companies. Places like Ardrossan and Edinburgh are already paying the price of Freeports and SEZs. Paid for with your taxes!

We are already into what is known as the Long Campaign in Political circles, what happens now is in your hands. Will you put your hands into the hands of others and work with them or are you a ‘stand-alone person’?

When compulsions take over, the ball gets dropped on the important things!

We saw it in the by-election last week and during the drive for GRR & SelfID.

Being obsessed with something or someone shows a lack of belief in yourself and allows the beliefs of others to supersede your own – a kind of mental hostile takeover!

Farage has taken up permanent residence in Swinney’s head and it has cost him dearly.

But you know what for me was the saddest thing, we saw a Leader who constantly ignored his own members.

When a Leader of a Party or indeed any organization does that, it is the beginning of the end.

The wheels have well and truly fallen off the Independence bus, as far as leadership goes…..but not with the thousands still living the dream.

New Leadership is required and in my humble opinion, and a few others…..this is it!

Time is short, but not too short that we cannot galvanize and make something big happen. It is good to hear people are talking but we need to put feet on those words!

EVERY avenue towards Independence must be explored, not just the favoured one! {now blocked by the way.}

Not to do so would be an act of cowardness!

The road may be long but at least we have a bus on it!!…. and whilst that is moving on, we here in Scotland must make sure the political infrastructure is in place to accommodate the outcome.

That means an overriding number of Independence-minded MPs in Holyrood next year.

Several MSPs are pretending to wear the Independence label in there just now, but their actions differ from the label on their coats….so they must go!!

So let us get ready and do our very own Scottish version of ‘shock and awe’!!

If ever there was a need for a new kind of Politics, it is now!

Thursdays By-Election result was not as Labour would try to portray it, a thumbs down to Independence, it was a clear sign of the lack of serious Independence Policy within the SNP.

Sadly, it is too late for the SNP to change their rhetoric on that, because people just don’t believe them anymore. Unless of course, they decided Liberate Scotland is really onto something……now that would be a miracle!!

More than ever it showed a need to fill the political gap that has emerged. It showed as I have said before that Yessers feel they have nowhere to go.

Those of us involved with Liberate Scotland must show them we are the serious contenders.…we are that place!

They cried out for Unity, and we have responded. A new kind of political party is forming where the participants come together yet remain autonomous!! For the doubters who say ‘not possible’…..prepare to be amazed!!

There are still many of us who are determined Scotland will be Liberated and we will not be blown off course.

The stronger the winds blow, the more determined we become, and those winds are blowing. The JPTI Lawyer having his visa delayed was no accident!

The Deep State are working hard…..

It shows just how afraid Westminster are and how right we are in going down the UN route.

We need a serious contender for Independence and Liberate Scotland are it.

We must continually remind people that the answer for Scotland lies in their own hands… no one else!

The first thing to remember is no one got any money back! Tax payers money gambled away…..gone overnight!

Now you would think would you not that Councils would have learned a lesson…..a hard lesson….but no…. they are still at it, albeit not in the Iceland Banks.

….. and it looks to me that some dodgy deals are still being made!

The investment however that shows itself to be a ‘clear and present danger’ is Freeports. An almost secret world of wheeling and dealing with little or no governance. It has been Internationally recognised that these Freeports can be used for criminal activities, so why are Councils and our Government investing in them?….. within that mix comes SEZs and special City Zones.

We need to know how our money is being used.

How about investing in our own people for a change? That might be a novel idea!!

An investment in people brings higher productivity and better health for a start. Add to that better infrastructure, like roads and transport and your quids in!

If Scotland is ‘asset rich’ where does it all go……well South of the Border of course!

Can we plug the drain…..yes we can and we must.

I may oversimplify things but I’m sure you get the gist!

Council Tax rises this year were in double figures but I didn’t see the rises in benefits or Pensions matching those figures, [apart from Councilors’ wages.]

So the poor get poorer which in turn means the Scotgov have to pay out more to mitigate the increases…..it’s a never-ending circle intended to keep us in our place.

I do not doubt though that if we move forward 1yr to the Election all kinds of goodies will be on offer!!

Just remember what Labour offered at the GE and what we actually got!

No matter what the Scottish Parties offer us next year, just remember who actually holds the purse strings!

Its time to say NO and mean NO…

And we can only do that by putting people into Holyrood who are there for the right reasons. The main one to bring Independence to Scotland. That is precisely why there’s a new kid on the block!

Yes, it’s new, but it has taken off because people wanted us to work together…..well this group are! Others have been invited…..but declined.… I wonder why?

Many people associate this saying with death but it can mean any life event. So, I am going to use writers’ privilege and extend it to Political Parties as well!!

All eyes appear to be on today’s By-Election, not sure about the constituents though. Low turnouts seem to be the norm these days.

But even that tells its own story.

Scots want something different and need something different but haven’t yet realised that only they can create that difference. Unfortunately, this By-Election offers nothing in terms of difference, that is why 2026 is so important.

Liberate Scotland will offer just that because every Party under its umbrella are united in offering the difference. For a start, they all believe in Direct Democracy, something that today’s Politicians vehemently dislike. Partly because it does away with the ‘gravy train’ but also takes power away from them and gives it to the People.

That’s us!

For once we could stop feeling helpless!

Governments are supposed to serve the people…. that’s the theory anyway! Can you remember when that last happened?

Manifestos are just window dressings, it’s what’s not in them that worries me.

One thing is for sure, they don’t want any ideas from us, especially on constitutional matters. Any new ideas get a D notice!…. and most of the media happily comply.

These D notices are interesting things, they are supposed to be used only for National Security purposes. Now why would the Scottish Constitution come under that heading?

I’m sure you can come up with a few answers!!

Does this come under ‘serving the people’ or serving Westminster’s agenda?

I fully appreciate that Prime Ministers must react to world affairs, my problem is with PMs who help create problems.

We can only bury our heads in the sand for so long, at some point we have to acknowledge that we…..yes we….are part of the problem here in Scotland.

We must stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution. That will require action, getting people out to vote, and convincing them they have something to vote for!

The polls say the vote for YES is 54%+ but if they don’t come out and vote it’s game over for Scotland.

The danger of sitting back and letting others do it is…..they might be sitting back and waiting for you to do it…..there is no such thing as too many activists!!

Parties are coming together to create something new, something never done before in Scotland….something all Yessers can get behind.

Be part of this new creation, people said it could never be done….Liberate Scotland is doing it!

So our colonial master has spoken, “There will be no referendum as long as I am Prime Minister” Instead he puts us all on a ‘war footing’!

To me, that is like a red rag to a bull and it should be game on for all of us.

…..and let’s be honest here, the SNP will meekly go along with that despite their rhetoric.

Whilst Salvo is doing their bit at the UN, we must do our bit here in Scotland and that does not include being part of Labours war machine.

His argument doesn’t even make sense to me, yes we live in dangerous times but our Forces always stand ready and how long will it take to build these new subs……I’m pretty sure any aggressor is not going to hang around and wait!

In the meantime our eyes must be fully focused on Scotland because don’t think for one moment that the ‘bad actors’ have not arrived and embedded themselves in various places.

Humour me for a wee while and allow me to call them ‘sleepers’….yeh I know I watch too much tv😅

…..the thing is they are not asleep….but quite active in the background like they have always been. Just tweaking things here and there until one day…

The only way to beat them is to unite, it is harder for them to stand against an army of people than it is to pick off individual groups or parties.

That is why Liberate Scotland is the best chance we have, and, in fact, the only chance we have to get true independence-minded MSPs into Holyrood.

MSPs who will hold the SNP to account.

Starmer has once again sent a clear message to the SNP and if they continue to plough on down a dirt track that leads to nowhere, that is up to them, our responsibility is to step into the gap. Their non-action has opened the road for us! If we fail there will be no more Scotland to fight for.

Under Liberate Scotland we can and will be a force to be reckoned with.

Both are bad news, one wants to annihilate the NHS and Holyrood the other the world! If that doesn’t make you sit up and take notice…..what will?

Poverty levels in Scotland are rising, the antidote is not Westminster….they are the cause. Until we in Scotland take control of our country the poison will continue to spread. We can stop it, but first, we must leave our comfort zones, jump out of the box and stand with the pioneers!

Those campaigning under the banner of Liberate Scotland are the pioneers of a new kind of Politics, they are putting the country before their Party and individuality.

Some ideas may not work, some will but it is the concept that is new…..unity!

If this is true, and I say ‘if’, then it’s game on for Liberation Scotland both in the Constituences and the List.

Somebody needs to fill the gap!

First of all lets take a look at the opposition, who are they and where are they in public opinion.

This week’s By-Election will tell us a lot, but most of it we already know, so I won’t bother listing the all the broken promises and erroneous policies that have led to their demise. Suffice to say the usual contenders have done little to impress the voters, so will the new kid on the block, Reform fair any better? The jury is out on that one but I will say this, unless we in Scotland do something very radical I fear that at the next GE, we will get a taste of Reform in a dose that we are ill-prepared for.

You may well ask what has gone wrong, in a nutshell, and in my opinion, with the disappearance of any credible Left Wing Parties and everyone else lurching to the right, the balance has gone.

Libertarianism has replaced Liberal…..and no, they are not the same thing!

Our Politicians out of their greed have been feeding the wrong wolf…..the Libertarian wolf, the one that is roaming the free world unfettered.

So, is it time to rebuild Hadrians wall and keep them from furthering their cause in Scotland?

This task is not for the faint-hearted, it will take grit and determination to avoid the arrows or even carrots from Westminster. Either way, both will be laced with poison.

What is happening at the UN is only one string on the bow of many, but a very important one. The other strings are here in Scotland, specifically in Holyrood and the tightening of those strings starts in 2026!

Numbers matter, that is why any campaign must be slick and focused. When I say slick I also mean quirky….. eyecatching! When numbers drop in one area they are there to be picked up by others…..Liberation Scotland must put themselves in the position to do that. Members of Liberate Scotland must come together, irrespective of Party membership because under this umbrella they are one!

Let’s send some shockwaves through the Political landscape of Scotland.

A visit to a nearby cinema got me thinking yesterday. I watched a mother give her son an empty bag and point him towards the Pick & Mix! As I watched his reaction and subsequent manoeuvres, I thought, Mum is going to regret this!!

We stand at a crossroads, before us a blank canvas or if you like ‘an empty bag’. Each of us has a picture in our minds of what we would like our country to be like moving forward.

Many of us believe in Direct Democracy, where the People are truly in authority. We are fortunate to be able to look towards other countries and see how they do it. You see there is no, one-size fits all, all are different, so we can pick & mix!!

We can design our own form of Direct Democracy to fit our own unique circumstances and it gets better…..it doesn’t have to be written in stone like British Democracy….we can tweak it if required.

I am at the moment watching a discussion on another platform about the difference between the D`hondt system and the STV and which one would be best for us…..must we choose or could we devise our own? Remember it’s a blank page!!

British Democracy is about control and sadly all the big political parties build their party’s foundations on similar bricks, including some in Scotland. How many Party conferences have you been to where various policies have been passed but never come into being?

Conferences are about ‘window dressing’…..keeping the members happy!

Party Leaders who refuse to listen to their members or even MPs can be removed. Unfortunately for us, we often end up paying a high price first. Our present PM is a good example.

Generally, we in this country are not very good at ‘rebelling’! We tend to wait and do the very “British” thing, wait for the next Election!

Well, that Election is just around the corner. The question that presents itself is, how bold are we going to be?

Will it be continuity…. the same old….or will we take the bull by the horns and for once stand up for ourselves?

If being lied to for hundreds of years doesn’t anger you or our country being siphoned off to big foreign corporations….just what will?

I ask that because without you Independence will never happen. Marches show desire and intent but intent must be followed up by action.
