What will it take to mobilise the Tartan Army again?

What will it take to bring opposing sides to work together to make sure 2026 becomes the springboard for an eventual Independent Scotland?

A Plebiscite Supermajority!

Some have suggested Parties should merge to show a united front, but going forward would that lead to a healthy Democracy or an Autocracy?

Surely existing Parties could use semantics to produce a heading whereby we could all Vote for the same thing in 2026 yet remain independent and let the Politics take over after that!

One word has already been suggested, ‘Sovereignty’. Is that a possibility?

We must start talking to one another once the grief has lessened and the anger abated.

At the moment we are all somewhere on this ladder…and we are all on it for different reasons!

But at some point, we must all take another step up if the dream is to be realised because remember this is our dream too.

Failure on this mission is not an option because the Scotland we know and love is diminishing before our eyes, as is Democracy.

Very soon you won’t get a vote on anything unless you’re a Shareholder!

If you hate Politicians you ain’t seen or experienced anything yet!

Big business is brutal as many countries are finding out.

Nothing is what it seems these days and nothing is free! Hidden in the small print of all these deals lies an ambush within the clause ISDS.

So, let’s be clear here, these colgomerates can sue a Goverment for any Policy they deem would harm their profits!!……This has the potential to stop the Scot Gov from ever increasing the Living Wage.

Board rooms will dictate Government Policy!

It’s all about a low-wage, high-profit economy……except Scotland will not see any of the profits!

The word ‘Special’ in Special Economic Zones does not mean we or the area we live in is special it just means this area has been carved out for Privatisation and we are the fodder who they expect to work for low wages!

The Grangemouth story is not about a firm going bust it’s about a Political Heist, one carefully crafted over the past few years.

Fact 1. Grangemouth is not losing money.

Fact 2. The plant could improve production and profits with small investment.

Fact 3. Alex told Kate Forbes on TV the name of the part required to do this.

Fact 4. This is Asset stripping plain and simple.

Fact 5. Westminster knows separation is coming and wants to diminish our capabilities in that field making us reliant on them for fuel.….our fuel!

Fact 6. Radcliffe is in line for a huge bonus for shutting it down.

…..and our Scottish Politicians have their grubby little hands all over this sad story.

But let this be a lesson for the future, a future that if left to our Politicians will take us further into the world of Privatisation then ultimate destruction.

We are given the picture that Privatisation is the golden path to the future…..but who gets the gold?

This is taxpayers’ money being used to invest in a company that may or may not improve services but will certainly run away with the profits.

This is not the same as investing in the NHS.

Scotland is being dragged into this sleezy world through Freeports & SEZs. A world where Private consortiums have the power to take what they want when they want it. And don’t think for one moment that they won’t!

By the time some of their plans hit us individually, it will be too late to do anything, we must use our anger to galvanise as a People now!

The one place we can do this is in the Liberation movement. The place where the Vision comes before any one person or Party. A level playing field where we all know the rules and where the goalposts won’t be moved!!

Our ultimate goal is Independence but we must score some smaller goals first.

That first one is about to happen, our first step to being part of the EU community.

That excites me, it’s what makes it worthwhile getting out of bed in the mornings and sometimes struggling to get to various meetings when able.

If Independence is a drug…..then I am hooked!!

Yes, there are other routes in the offering and they might be credible, surely we should use any that will work. I chose the Liberation route because it is ready to roll and its a movement of the People it is as simple as that.

It is a route with a proven history of sucess.

We must never give up, if one door closes then we use another door and doors will always open even if they are not those in Westminster.

Parties do not need to merge we just need to be travelling on the same road!

Scotland needs to get back on track and with some haste, I may add.

Having identified where it all went wrong and why, we need to move on with a plan. We can’t regain those lost years but we can regain the status taken from us and reparations for what has been stolen.

To do that we need to make some changes, changes in our habits! For the last 10 years, our habit has been to walk down the S30 road. A habit the Scottish Government are not inclined to break, we can only guess why.

Loyalty is a strong bond but sometimes misplaced. Voting Labour to save Grangemouth was certainly loyalty misplaced and we now know the SNP have been in on the deal since 2021. Take that in for a few minutes!!

It is not wrong to change loyalties when a person or Party refuses to acknowledge the road they are on is blocked but doggedly digs its heels in and won’t budge. To ‘blindly follow’ is a habit that must change if the dream is ever to come true.

Until loyalty to Scotland comes before Party loyalty Scotland will never move forward. Pride will stop us in our tracks.

We need to re-kindle the pride we have in our country.

That kind of change opens us up to other ways of thinking and the possibility that there just might be another way…….

Another way to cross the line another way through the brick wall that is Westminster.

If our elected representatives won’t do it, then we must.

A way has been presented to us, a way that doesn’t have to cross Political boundaries because it’s about People, not Politicians…..a movement of the people by the people.

Liberation is the new game in town and it’s causing waves in high places.

Why? Because those who stand to lose most know we are onto something…..the lie has been exposed.

Knowledge is power and now we have it, we must use it.

Liberation is using that knowledge, join us….

Powershifts are everyday occurrences, from governments down to our households at times. They happen for many reasons, sometimes we get a say in them others are thrust upon us.

Labour coming into Government was a huge Powershift for this country, or at least it was meant to be!

There are other kinds of Powershifts, they happen below the radar crafted in secret board meetings. Even a change of CEO in a Foreign Country can now affect our daily living standards thanks to Freeports & SEZs!

But perhaps the greatest Powershifts happen when ordinary people recognize their own power and use it.

Scotland never ceded its power over anything and whatever was intended all those centuries ago never came to fruition. No Legal documents are saying they did!

The Lie has been brought out into the light.

Therefore we, yes we the People still hold the power as written in the Claim of Rights.

The question is, how do we use it?

Having been complicit in this sham Democracy for so long how do we even as individuals escape this web of lies?

Well, here is the good news…..we don’t have to!

Remember the saying, ‘Follow the money’ well this has been a case of following the paper(s)! All the documents showing centuries of deceit and lies have been lying in the vaults of the HOC for centuries and we must thank Sara and her colleagues for their tenacity in digging them out. Even the language used in these documents was never meant to be understood by folks like you and me.

After Salvo, Liberation was formed for one purpose and that was to do what many countries have done before. To build a people movement, independent of Politicians to take back our country and have it recognized as a Political State in its own right.

No one denies we are a Nation, even Westminster accepts the People are Sovereign but without political statehood, we are just a Colony, ruled by others. Sovereign People means nothing without the Power of Sovereignty and Statehood.

We have no say in the World and we have no say in our affairs and don’t we know it. Holyrood is just a branch of Westminster with puppets at its helm.

As a movement of the People ( Liberation), we can make a huge Powershift happen.

Let us grow this movement together and make the Dream come True, caring for one another, one day at a time!

We have several legacies to fulfil…. let’s crack on!

Before the EU Referendum, people I spoke to were voting for Brexit for several reasons. One of them was that they were sick of all the silly wee rules that affected so many businesses….and yes some of them were a bit ridiculous.

The Brexiteers promised to rip them up, less Red Tape they said, what was never envisaged was that as far as Foreign companies were concerned they would rip up the whole rule book….no Red Tape….a free for all.

Rules protect us from criminal activity….never forget that.

We now have a two-tier tax system when it comes to running a business in Britain. Today the PM reiterated those words with a few add-ons. “Less red tape, high wage, more houses and improved LA services”!!

Let me break that down to the reality of what’s happening at ground level.

With Freeports and SEZs comes deregulation…no red tape to speak of. Companies manage their own rules with few or no taxes and keep their accounts away from prying eyes!

Private really does mean Private!

‘High wages’. To date, most jobs advertised have been low-wage so that they don’t have to pay Employers NI.

So far very few houses have been built, certainly nothing like promised. The reason for this could be a lack of land to build on. Up in Cromarty farmers are being threatened with Compulsory Purchase Orders for green belt land they refuse to sell.

“Improved LA services” Now here is the conundrum. How can LA services improve when their income is being reduced due to all the tax incentives?…..put simply they can’t unless we are made to plug the gap or they too are taken over by Private Companies, and that does not guarantee improvement!

The Country we knew has gone and it went whilst we were being distracted.

Distracted by all the shenanigans within the Tory Party over the last few years. Now Labour has taken over the reins.

How can existing businesses survive outside of the fence?

An invisible boundary, only seen on a few maps will exist showing businesses out with the new Freeports & SEZs. These businesses will have to pay full taxes and their prices will reflect their costs. The result will be catastrophic for them.

Fair competition will cease to exist, especially in towns and cities where that invisible line divides streets!

Labour is not interested in small businesses, everything has to be big from now on and if we’re not on board with all that they will ride roughshot over everything and everyone who stands in their way including Councils.

Understand this, under these Freeports or SEZs neither your home nor your land is your own!

Only one thing can stop these bulldozers…..Independence! And the only train on that track is Liberation!

We all have our weaknesses, I use the plural because we all have more than one….well I do anyway. But some won’t admit to even one!

Knowing what our weaknesses are is a powerful tool as we travel along this road called life! Even more so along any Poiltical road we choose to walk along because if we can’t see them our enemies will be quick to point them out!

It is a sign of strength to be able to recognize our weak points and admit them, it’s called self-awareness.

It would appear looking at SM this weekend that a lot of people lack Self-awareness!

It is time for us in Scotland to admit the mistakes of the past and learn from them. We followed a path that never really existed, we were led down a blind ally. If our weakness was to blindly follow where others led us, so be it, but now the truth is out and the ball has fallen back into our hands.

The legacy left to us by so many great names is now ours to run with and we must never hand it back to the Politicians! One day we will need them again but not at this moment in time.

Today thousands of us received the news we have been waiting for, the Liberation train is on the track just awaiting our approval to move on.

Then it’s full steam ahead. Ordinary people like you and I have worked tirelessly to make this happen, they deserve our respect and 👏👏

Once this train has left the station heading for the UN. I expect several things will happen fairly quickly, not least the sudden realization amongst many that Salvo/Liberation are indeed the real deal….. the only deal in town…..on track and taking Scotland‘s cause with them.

Whilst others talk, Liberation are doing it!!

This does not mean we don’t need others to join, far from it. Sovereignty will only be re-gained if we all vote for it in 2026!

Sovereignty will lead to Independence!

We have the opportunity to bring Scotland to its full potential, let’s not waste the opportunity!

Scotland is a great Nation its People are a great People…..we can do this.

The time clock is ticking, and soon the kind of Democracy we think we have will be gone.

There are many kinds of Democracy but this very British type is anything but Democracy and the sad thing is people don’t know it, because nobody ever questions it.

Ask anyone what Democracy means they would probably say, ‘the right to vote’ to elect our representative in Parliament. But it actually means much more than that.

The word democracy comes from the Greek words “demos”, meaning people, and “Kratos” meaning power; so democracy can be thought of as “power of the people”: a way of governing which depends on the will of the people.

Recognize it?……neither do I.

The problem with British Democracy is it has twisted the word around to mean something very different and the acting out of it is not by the people but by Parliament. Come to think about it Westminster is the last place we see Democracy being played out….its all about whipping MPs into line and bullying!

Your part in this Democracy of ours lasts 1-2 minutes and you only get that chance every 5 years!

The minute you cast your vote you hand all of your democratic rights to another person….and don’t think for one minute they will consider you for another 5 years unless you are extremely lucky. Party Politics will take over from there on, and we have just seen how that works out!

Happy with that?

Things are changing though and these changes are worse than what we have.

Parliamentary Democracy is being replaced by Corporate Democracy and in this Democracy you will have no say whatsoever, not a single vote……unless you are a Shareholder!

Westminster will appoint businessmen to run Authorities that become bankrupt…..the circle of power will then be complete!

We can stop this train of corporate power in its tracks because there is another way, a way that brings us back to the original meaning…..

“Power of the People”!!

In 2026 we will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to change Scottish Politics forever. This Election will not be about SNP v Labour it MUST be about the Sovereign People of Scotland taking back our Country. Then onward to standing on the world stage as a Political State in our own right. Sitting at the top table as it were!

Direct Democracy will then be at the heart of how Scotland will be run.

How will it work?

Every Candidate be it with a Party or Independently will share a common goal stated on the Ballot Paper…..SOVEREIGNTY and that is where we must all put our X.

This will act as a Plebiscite where we the People vote on one issue. Sovereignty!

Westminster and Holyrood will not recognise the importance of it or the result but the EU Community will and that is where the real power for change lies.

Never think it was Labour who got us Devolution, it was a small group of people from Scotland who went to the ICJ and we are on our way back there with Liberation.

We have a legacy to fulfil, it is now the people‘s time.

Many of our buildings are crumbling because they have been built with inferior materials and a future Scotland will fail if we use metaphorical RAAC in the institutions we are seeking to build now!

For those of you who don’t know what RAAC is it is an inferior building material that over time allows water to penetrate resulting in leaks and crumbling ceilings etc! Apparently it only has a lifespan of about 30yrs and was used a lot in the 1990s…hence all the problems now.

As we seek to build a new Scotland we must get the building materials right by that I mean the right people in the right jobs, even at this early stage.

Scotland has a wealth of talent but we also have a wealth of egos…..and the two are not always distinguishable at the onset of any organization.

I suppose the easiest example is that of the incumbent Westminster government. Many thought that Labour when in opposition were full of talent. We have now discovered the opposite!

I have always believed that people who volunteer for anything should be put through the same kind of interview [with background checks!!] as a person who wants a paid job. History sadly has taught us this must be so.

In government people who fail appear to get promoted and we suffer the consequences, we can not, must not allow that to happen here and now as we seek to build the foundations for our future.

We can not, we dare not promote people above their abilities…..if we do people will leave and the ball will be dropped. If leaks appear they must be plugged!

We have a Scottish Government who are leaking like a sieve as they roll over to their imperial masters..all pals together!

If we are to build a strong Scotland then we need strong people in the right jobs even if those jobs are just in committees or groups. Get the foundations right and the building will withstand the greatest storms.

Help us build a new Scotland.

We make decisions every day, all day, most without even thinking about them.

Some we put off….later maybe, there’s no hurry.

Sadly when it comes to Scotland for those of us for whom the dream will never die, time is running out. Our Sovereign land is being sold/ leased off piecemeal. This is not happening by accident, it was the unwritten plan of Brexit.

When the Tories said ‘we will take back our country’ …..the ‘we’ meant the rich, the entrepreneurs, the colgomerates!

Now WE SCOTS must take Scotland back. The fact that we have a Secretary of State for Scotland who is an MP of the Westminster State says it all. We are governed by another!

Now is the time to pull together, now is the time to build the strategies moving towards the 2026 Election.

There needs to be some humbling in Scottish Politics.

No individual or Party Leader is bigger than another in this fight but only those big enough to be part of the whole will survive! Personal ambitions must be laid down on the alter for Scotland……they can be picked up later if they must…..but for now we must become one!

We must become one in our identity and our narrative and Liberation. Scot is the place to do it.

Make today the day!

That one question alone should set alarm bells ringing. The sheer magnitude of it is almost unbelievable. It stretches right along the central belt and joins the Forth Freeport.

Together they cover the most densely populated parts of Scotland, who agreed to this and why?

Someone in each Authority signed up to them, and each Authority will be contributing to them. Those amounts will be hidden somewhere in their budgets, probably under the heading of ‘Investments’!

Did no one learn anything from the losses we incurred when Iceland crashed?

If we can invest these vast amounts of money in Foreign Companies that only seem to offer a small number of low-paid jobs, yet run away with all the profits why can’t we, as a country build our own, state-owned companies [infrastructure ] and keep the profits….surely this would be a win-win situation…….ah yes…I forgot that state-owned would then yield nothing for the Shareholders, the entrepreneurs who put money into a company, then sit back and watch.

Do not be under the impression that Authorities only put in a one-off payment, these are ongoing payments out of an ever-decreasing budget.

Edinburgh Council has just realised their big mistake!

They will make £90m, [and counting] less than promised whilst their input will increase!!…..and they are not the only ones whose eyes have been opened. The viability of the Solent Freeport is also being questioned.

SEZs offer many advantages to Private Firms but those advantages come at a great cost to us, even as individuals.

The greatest loss is revenue to Councils through all the tax breaks and incentives. When a Council loses revenue two things happen, we fill the gap through Council Tax and our services are greatly depleted.

They hide behind the excuse of ‘the rise in costs’ but the reason goes much deeper than that. They are investing your taxes in these big Foreign Colgomerates. The big glossy pamphlets may offer them a deal but like Edinburgh and others, the reality is much different.

Investments are a gamble and gamblers lose!

In this case because Shareholders keep demanding more!
