Who holds Power in Scotland? Is it the FM or the PM (Westminster) ?

On the face of it, the answer is, of course, the PM. (red or blue)

But the reality is very different because these days the PM is only the figurehead for multi-national companies.

Private foreign companies given free reign to run Scotland through Freeports and SEZs. The great Brexit plan is in full force!

What should be happening, which is something we all thought would happen is, we should once again become a self-sufficient country through the re-introduction of our own industries. Owned and run by us!

But no, the label on the Brexit tin didn’t reveal all the contents! We were duped, we were lied to…..but hey…. hasn’t it been like that for over 300 years?

The Power seekers, even the up-and-coming ones in Scotland rub their grubby hands in glee as they seek not to invest in Scottish-owned infrastructure but rather let Private corporations build it and reap the rewards.

We need an industrial revival that benefits Scotland, not shareholders! That is why he/she who holds Power in Scotland does so on our behalf and the right person for that is the one who does not seek Power for Power’s sake but to serve!

This can happen in an equal society if we want it, but we need to want it!

This is not some pie-in-the-sky dream. Salvo/Liberation are already working hard to make Direct Democracy happen. Committee members are being voted for to build the foundations upon which a new Scotland will be born. One where you and I will not only have a say but will also be heard for once!

The Freeports are in place, but they were warned by Salvo that their contracts were illegal, so can be challenged in the future!

When Parties deliver their Manifestos, whether on TV debates or through letterboxes, they act as though the elephants have gone walkabout….herds of them!

In Scotland they think we have forgotten about Brexit, GR, Self ID, Hate Crime Bill,[and the fact that the Orange Lodges are exempt in the latter one!] and now Freeports & SEZs.

Well, we haven’t!

All of these are missing from the conversations! The silence is deafening!

We need to bring these elephants back into the room and demand answers because they are still alive!…..and ignorance is not acceptable from Candidates who have previously been MPs.

Debates tend to be driven by Parties and your are lucky if you can find an open floor Hustings!

General Elections remind me of Budget Days, we only get the headlines, but the devil is in the detail and that information is not readily available for the likes of you and me.

You have to be hungry to find it!

That is why it is so important that we in Scotland get the chance to change the system, and the only train offering that kind of change is the Salvo one.

As long as Politicians put Parliament before the People nothing will change. One Party having supremacy in Parliament is not Direct Democracy and not being able to remove them for 5yrs definitely isn’t!

In some European Countries there are only a few in National governments to carry out the instructions of the people, we need this kind of Democracy.

You have become complicit in the theft of Scotland and its resources, and any Indy Party who thinks Westminster is the way out in the future will share in that complicity, for however short a time they are there!

Politicians will always put Parliamentary power before the People.

The game must change and the rules of that game are for the People to determine, it’s called Direct Democracy, some people call it Peoples Democracy, either way, truth and honesty will replace lies and corruption!

Let’s just see how the Court of Session deals with the Dumbarton case, will they pass the buck or will they rule in favour of the People of Dumbarton and dare Westminster to intervene because the cat is now out of the bag!

Towns like Tain [within the Cromarty Freeport/SEZ] area need to see if (a) their Royal Charter (1066) still exits and (b) what it covers!

Don’t you just love it when someone puts the cat among the pigeons!!!!

Now, these Royal Charters are interesting and even more so the reason for them, given the context of today’s SEZs.

‘limitation of the Royal charter was that no other trading group other than the East India company could compete in spice trading on the east and west coasts of India. Explanation: On December 31, 1600, Queen Elizabeth I granted the East India Company a Royal Charter.’

In short, a Royal Charter has stipulations, they set out what can and what can’t happen within the area covered. They also remain in Law unless the terms are broken, and it would take an Act of Parliament to revoke it.

Interesting also is, Prince Harry is the present Earl of Dumbarton!!!

Laying aside the arguement that all the land belongs to the people of Scotland for a moment, this is a case of the Crown and Westminster shooting itself in the foot and one has to wonder how many more ‘big plans’ could be halted or stopped completely under the same pretext.

This debacle explains why the SNP lost their safe Council seat in last week’s By-Election.

How the Courts and both Governments get around this knotty little problem will be interesting. Because if they ride roughshot over this Charter and the will of the people of Dumbarton that town has the potential to become the catalyst for the people’s rebellion and the ideal place for Liberation.scot to be focusing on.

The Unionist Parties have taken a wrecking ball to any future plans Scotland may have had for joining either the EU or EFTA, through their obsession with Freeports & SEZs.

For Unionists [and I include Scottish Parties] the truth is only what they want it to be and half-truths are even worse!

There are some who say we can change things after Independence….a half truth because they don’t explain ISDSs! { Investor-State Dispute Settlements} Penalties for breach of Contract.

We are talking big worldwide colgomerates here, not some wee companies and they will want blood! Something a new Country could not afford, add to that the fact that Scotland will have a bad reputation for breaking contracts.

Kate Forbes needs to think long & hard about these contracts she is signing on our behalf!

We did not give her permission to sell Scotland off to the highest preferred bidder. Even worse she refuses to answer any questions about them!

Private = Profit = Shareholders!

We don’t even come into the equation.

Unless we take some responsibility now Local Democracy will disappear over the next 20yrs.

Labour have latched onto the word ‘change’ because they know that is what we demand. The psychology behind that is clever but their promises are the same as the Tories…..less Government and more Privatisation.

By diminishing Government, you diminish Democracy, its as simple as that!

Take a quick look South of the Border. Birmingham has been issued with a Bankruptcy notice which means the government will intervene and bring in Private companies to run the Council. There ends public accountability!

The people pay….but have no say!

This is what happens when Council revenue drops due to Freeports and SEZs.

There is no such thing as a Green Freeport.

When they use the word ‘Green’ its all about the psychology of the color green.

Green being positive!

There is nothing positive about Freeports, apart from everything that has already been said, they breed criminality as does any company who think they are a law unto themselves!

If you, like me believe that in Scotland it is the People who are Sovereign and not any Parliament, then the only road open is the one that leads to Direct Democracy. On this road we will have the power to recall MPs who become lone wolves or join other packs!!!

Today’s Politicians forget who pays their wages and who voted for them. This summer season has been replaced by the season of lies…and if we fail to hold them accountable then hell mend us!

I don’t know about anyone else but I am so sick of all the lies and the sad thing is, the liars will win irrespective of their colour!

Let’s be brutally honest here, whether it be Tory or Labour the Scotland we love will soon vanish.

Scotland is being gutted like a fish and only when all the flesh (assets) have been taken, only then will Westminster think about giving us our country back.

In the meantime, our devolved powers will be decimated, our councils will become bankrupt through lack of funding as Privatisation becomes the only game in town.

The point people miss about private investment is, the more money invested the greater the cost to us…and payback is forever!

Look at what some Councils in Scotland are still paying for Labour PFI schools and hospitals. Millions upon millions that could be, or should be going into public services…..the interest on those debts is unbelievable.

A sudden injection of capital sounds good just as Freeports sound good but the devil is in the detail and the details spell disaster for both the Scottish economy and the people within there boundaries. Especially the employees!

Could an independent Scotland scrap them or Nationalise them….yes they could. But there’s a problem with that and it’s a huge one…….the cost!

The colgomerates would sue us, and when I say ‘us’ I mean the Scottish Goverment because Freeports are not a Reserved matter!

Our own devolved government has chosen to go down this road!

Countries that are trying to escape these contracts are being sued for Billions. This means most of our resources or what little is left, will be used to pay our debts for generations to come, not to Westminster but to foreign companies.

I have been down here in Yorkshire for 8 days now and only managed to have a few conversations about Politics…which is not like me😂

There are those who just don’t care but there are also those who are shocked when I reveal some facts….and that’s without even mentioning the word Independence!

Their sense of shock comes from their sense of injustice, which has returned my faith in the human species!!

They too, thought we were equal partners, as in, equal in all things!

On the discussion about the costs of our Energy and where it originates from, the answer was, ‘why don’t you do something about it?’….excellent Q! My answer shocked her even more.

People in England are totally ignorant about Scotland, its not really their fault because they also have become victims of the Lie.

The words Devolved & Reserved mean nothing. Maybe our education of the people should extend South of the Border!

Then of course there are the idiots whose only defense is, ‘Well we conquered you’!!

These people are in for a shock, but aren’t there many in Scotland who more or less feel the same.

It’s that cap-in-hand attitude that bows to their imperial masters…feeling downtrodden and defeated.

We will always have them because to accept the anything else demands change!

But for the majority of us, those ones who took part in the huge marches prior and since the fake Refendum….we have no excuse.

The seeking of that change is even more urgent and our response must match, because time is quickly running out. Rishi’s Freeports etc have seen to that.

Thank God for Salvo who have had the foresight to warn these companies about Scotland’s Sovereignty…there may yet be a way back for us….I did say ‘may’ didn’t I?!!

Rishi says we are fine with him spending £50,000 a day for him to use a private jet, just as Truss thought it was fine to hire a private jet at the cost of £500,000 to fly to Australia….but are we fine with it?

Private investment is Private investment, only the shareholders win. There is no evidence to prove that any of these Freeports or SEZs are profitable, which is why David Cameron abandoned them, so whats changed?

All I see is the devastation left behind and the bankruptcy of the LAs (Local Authorities) within them. Kate Forbes says she is trying to get the best deal she can, I don’t doubt that, but let’s be absolutely honest here, the big boys will always win and the LAs will always lose. Otherwise, why would the colgomerates bother?

Even the regulated Freeports in Europe are open to corruption. I know of one where there is a warehouse full of Aluminium, it’s been there for nearly 10 years…never moved but the contents are being sold and resold over and over again!?!

An excellent way to launder money!!

So if that is happening with ‘regulalated’….de-regulated will be a free for all.

So let’s not assume anything when it comes to GE promises, the reality will be very different.

Therefore be careful where you hang your coat! Especially when it comes to promises about Independence, because a Party who does not promise Direct Democracy is a Party who only promises the same kind of governance as we have now. Which is Parliament has the power, not the People!
