A can of worms..

For hundreds of years secrets have been hidden from Scotland’s people….well hidden, even by our own MPs.

But now that can of worms has been opened and can never again be shut.

And we have Salvo to thank for that!

But what we do now will settle Scotland’s future history for ever. We will only get one go at this.

To do nothing would play right into Westminster’s hands. Having the facts and not acting on them would be seen as a form of acquiescence.

A response therefore is not only required, but essential.

We tried through the Stirling Directive to engage with our elected MSPs, only to get locked out of our own Parliament!

That means it’s up to us, the People and that’s exactly what’s happening through Salvo and the Liberation movement.

As Scots we can not afford to sit back and do nothing, but we must all be part of this, every voice is important. There is no hierarchy everyone is equal.

We must unite behind Salvo and lay aside Party Politics on this matter. Leave the politicking for Elections!

This beacon of truth must continue to shine throughout Scotland.

  1. Totally agree Joan, I’m pinning my hopes on Salvo, we need to support them any way we can and you are doing a great job spreading the word. Thank you.

Salvo is not compromised by party ideology nor by careerists hoping to advance their financial and personal situations and ambitions.

Salvo is the main beacon of hope that Scotland has for achieving the restoration of our Right to Self-determination and our independence.

Politicians and our political parties have failed us just when we needed them most and were on the verge of achieving what Scotland and its people so desperately requires. Even now, almost 10 years after the Yes Movement scared the Westminster establishment to the core, politicians have made no progress whatsoever and have not prepared for the day when rule from London finally ends.

It has been left to Salvo / Liberation, SSRG, IFS and other groups to take action, with the ISP being the only political party to adopt positive policies that do not at some stage depend on deference to Westminster.

The SNP leadership are largely silent as far as Salvo is concerned, but the leader of Alba is an embarrassment as he attacks what is after all the formation of a People’s Movement to take a very different route to independence. Please note that I said “the Leader of Alba” and NOT “the members of Alba” who in the main are very supportive of Salvo. In fact, many members have left Alba for various reasons recently and more are now leaving as a result of his latest rant against Salvo. Whatever happened to Scotland United?

None of England’s other colonies achieved their independence via political parties and almost all achieved their freedom by way of a People’s Movement. We will hear much more often the cry that “The people of Scotland are sovereign” as we approach the general election but neither the leaders of the SNP nor Alba are intending to act in order to make that sovereignty a reality. Both are intent on “business as usual” with Parliamentary Sovereignty and with the people of Scotland allowed to exercise their sovereignty for 1 day in every 1827 days while they govern us without accountability.
