It’s okay to…..

A good number of good people are stepping out of Party Politics because they are either hurt or disillusioned. I understand that, I really do. They just need a chance to breathe, take stock of where they are and where they want to be.

My hope is that eventually, they will find their natural home in Politics because we need them.

Scotland needs them!

Not all Parties aim to be high flyers led by egos. Some are content to do the groundwork and influence people into another way of thinking.

A country where Direct Democracy is the ruling practice does not need big Political Parties because it’s the People who have the say not Politicians.

Politicians are meant to carry out the wishes or instructions of the People not the other way round!

Sometimes we need to change our attitude towards things before change in our lives and the direction we want to travel will happen.

How we react to hurt and disappointment can be an opportunity to build our character and learn or we can remain defeated and just dangle our toes on the fringe.

In such fluid times maybe we need to be less rigid and more flexible in the position we take on some matters. Look at other ways of reaching our goal but remain firmly in the game.
