There comes a time when one has to admit that some things are beyond repair.
Every day I read about a ‘broken Britain’ and they are right, nothing seems to function anymore. Not even the Westminster Parliament!
The NHS is broken, Education is broken, our military capabilities are broken and saddest of all the people are broken.
They just exist on a routine of all work and no play, [unless they are rich] People in general have forgotten what it feels like to wake up in the morning feeling good about life, hence the rise in suicides.
How do we fix this in Scotland at least?
Can we reverse things?
I think we can, but it won’t be done by trying to patch things up, this is not about filling in a few potholes!
It’s about going back to the drawing board and coming up with a whole new map.
Politicians are content with the status quo, and in this up-and-coming GE they will offer new agendas, but it’s the hidden ones we need to fear.
How many Laws did they pass that we knew nothing about?
How many pies did Holyrood MSPs have their sticky fingers in of which we knew nothing about, like Freeports and SEZs?…and what exactly is a New City?
A new map is being drawn up, one that will be led by the people.
Resurrecting the best of the old ways that once made Scotland so great in the eyes of the world. A system where everyone had a voice is being modernised to suit today’s needs.
Direct Democracy is no stranger to some European countries, so we have modern models to learn from.
Direct Democracy is unheard of in modern Britain even Democracy itself has died a slow death.
We must make our voices heard and show those in power that change is coming whether they like it or not…or we too will die a slow death and we will only have ourselves to blame.
It’s time to take responsibility for ourselves and our country or the Lion will never roar again!.…. and surely the first thing we must do is to harness the power of our young people again.
Where has all that passion gone?
We need to ask them, because they are our future.
