Broken beyond repair.

There comes a time when one has to admit that some things are beyond repair.

Every day I read about a ‘broken Britain’ and they are right, nothing seems to function anymore. Not even the Westminster Parliament!

The NHS is broken, Education is broken, our military capabilities are broken and saddest of all the people are broken.

They just exist on a routine of all work and no play, [unless they are rich] People in general have forgotten what it feels like to wake up in the morning feeling good about life, hence the rise in suicides.

How do we fix this in Scotland at least?

Can we reverse things?

I think we can, but it won’t be done by trying to patch things up, this is not about filling in a few potholes!

It’s about going back to the drawing board and coming up with a whole new map.

Politicians are content with the status quo, and in this up-and-coming GE they will offer new agendas, but it’s the hidden ones we need to fear.

How many Laws did they pass that we knew nothing about?

How many pies did Holyrood MSPs have their sticky fingers in of which we knew nothing about, like Freeports and SEZs?…and what exactly is a New City?

A new map is being drawn up, one that will be led by the people.

Resurrecting the best of the old ways that once made Scotland so great in the eyes of the world. A system where everyone had a voice is being modernised to suit today’s needs.

Direct Democracy is no stranger to some European countries, so we have modern models to learn from.

Direct Democracy is unheard of in modern Britain even Democracy itself has died a slow death.

We must make our voices heard and show those in power that change is coming whether they like it or not…or we too will die a slow death and we will only have ourselves to blame.

It’s time to take responsibility for ourselves and our country or the Lion will never roar again!.…. and surely the first thing we must do is to harness the power of our young people again.

Where has all that passion gone?

We need to ask them, because they are our future.

Strategy is about shaping our future!

All failure is about being unable to adapt.

This up-and-coming GE will change nothing for Scotland, therefore we must channel all our efforts into the Holyrood 2026 Elections alongside the promotion of the Liberation movement and Salvo.

https://liberation.scot/

We must start working together to form an action plan towards the specific goal of Independence and if the Leaders of certain Parties won’t do it, then members must do it themselves no matter who they upset along the way!

…..even if the trade off is to defy your own Party!! I don’t say that lightly, but if your particular Party has hit the buffers on the road to Independence then you must jump over them because ultimately it will be us, the People of Scotland who will take this fight further…not our present MSPs.

We must be willing to adapt to new ways of doing and thinking!

Change is not a destination, it’s only a different step along the way.

The decisions we make or don’t make over the next 24 months will either shape a new Scotland or remain with the status quo.

Which one do you want?

This will not be a comfortable ride, but if it’s comfort you want then walk away now and stop muddying the waters! We don’t need negativity!

We need people who are focused on the end product….a free Sovereign Scotland.

I am in my late 70s and my physical abilities are rapidly declining but I have a voice and I won’t be shut up!

I will always shout out for Scotland and encourage others to do so as well.

Broken promises…

We in Scotland should be used to broken promises by now, but rarely have we witnessed it being done in such a public manner.

I would like to think the Speaker has done us a favour by his outrageous behaviour but sadly the SNP MPs are only capable of huffing and puffing!

They lack the teeth to turn this sad episode into something meaningful like walking out for good!

We are all asking the same question, ‘What is the point’? ….and we all know the answer….none!

So why on earth are the majority of Nationalist Scots content to stick with the status quo? How long before the penny drops?

Trust is important and when such a public promise is broken, no amount of excuses will cut it. I bet Hoyle spent all weekend seeking a way out!..but in doing so all he showed was that he was not a man of honour but just another commodity to be used by whoever shouts the loudest.

So we need to start shouting in every way we can to stop Scotland from being ripped off, sold off and silenced and the best way to do that is by using this GE to send a clear message not just to Westminster but the SNP aswell.

We won’t play your games anymore….we will Abstain!

But, but you say, ‘we need the SNP’……do we, do we really?

Are they progressing the case for Independence? Do we hear the word Independence mentioned in their Political Broadcast?

No, we don’t, because they too have broken their promise!

The only way forward now is through the Liberation movement where things are moving along at a pace. A legally viable way.

https://liberation.scot/

People Power, the only way it’s ever been for any nation seeking to be Independent.

Such are those from Westminster!

Walk away….

Walking away is not a sign of weakness; it’s a demonstration of self-respect.”

How on earth can Scottish MPs maintain any kind of self-respect by staying in the House of Rouges?

Now one of the most corrupt Parliaments in the world.

Why do we in Scotland feel so helpless to do anything about it?

By remaining there the SNP are compliant to the corruption and it’s no use saying…but what can we do, we are so few? If you know you can’t do anything….get out, walkout and by doing so you will bring down the whole rotten house of cards! …..and guess what you’ll be doing the rest of the UK a service aswell. For they too are being screwed over!

Have some self respect for gods sake!

You’re working against rigged dice and making Scotland a laughing stock at the same time.

Walking away would empower us to do greater things, and shows Scotland has standards.

Abstention takes power away from Westminster and puts it back into the hands of the People of Scotland who are Sovereign.

It would force them back to the negotiating table where we would hold all the aces. Not doing so would show the world that Britain is not a democracy but a Dictatorship and no better than Russia.

Well, it’s been quite a day!

Not sure which event made me laugh the most today, the spinning missile or the chaos in Westminster.

We really are the laughingstock of the world.

Laugh as we may though there is a serious side to both events.

The MOD were quick with their response, they have complete faith in their ageing rust buckets….not sure we have, or the people on the Florida coast😂

With regards to Westminster, well we all know it’s a farce but to have it played out on live TV must be quite embarrassing. The SNP stitch-up was there for all to see but the greatest disappointment was they only walked out for minutes!

Yes Flynn was angry and rightly so, but anger is nothing if it not backed up by meaningful action…..and walking out for a few minutes is not meaningful action!

Abstention is!

This was their opportunity, their showcase moment instead they walked back in and allowed a vote on the Labour amendment.

The Speaker supping with the devil { Labour} to stop an SNP motion and a very important one at that will not be forgotten, for either of them.

Meanwhile ‘up north’….as they say in Yorkshire….we finally got some media coverage in the Express rag of all places.

We are ‘extreme separatists and our leader is no other than Iain Lawson! Congratulations Iain on your promotion!😂😂

Well at least we’ve caught someone’s attention..so..

We’re on the move…..

The starting gun has fired!

The race for Scotland’s future has well and truly started with the final foundation stones being put in place.

https://salvo-cor.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/Hubs/+Lib+com+explanation+.pdf

This means everything I have said in previous blogs about Teamwork etc are all the more important. As Iain says in the video we need to elect the right people to this team for them to work as a team. We can’t afford to get this wrong.

Read Iains superb blog here.

https://yoursforscotlandcom.wordpress.com/2024/02/20/the-moment-we-have-been-waiting-for/

We have waited a long time for this, it’s the first big step to our future.

This step forward has come just in time because Scotland’s life is being choked out of it, the Westminster noose is tightening. There is a mismatch of deregulation and over-regulation!

Deregulation regarding Freeports and EZs and over-regulation regarding existing infrastructure like Grangemouth making sure it can’t continue to function. Money has nothing to do with its closure, it’s all about making sure we can’t refine our own oil once Independent.

An exciting day indeed, be part and take part in the proceedings.

This is our time.…..

When trust is lost…..

It only takes one……

If leaders of Independence Parties and other groups lose the trust of their followers then the Dream will die.

One lie is all it takes, I have just been reading about one guy in a big party who has not just walked away from his party but also from the dream of Independence because of the litany of lies and loss of focus.

I was reminded of someone who said to me ‘ it’s not Independence I disagree with.….its knowing who will run the country’!

If we can’t trust the people who lead us…..who can we trust and I bring the same question down to a local level.

I trust the people around me, the political gang I hang out with…..why? Because I see in them the integrity of true leadership. They are honest principled folk with no egos. It’s a respectful relationship that has grown. I didn’t jump into something because of ‘personalities’ I did so because of policies, ideals and above all because of the honesty I saw in them.

We all have our reasons for joining something, but just having the same dream doesn’t always work out if those at the top have added agendas. They can end up dashing every dream.

One lie, that’s all it takes but then to go on lying is indefensible to the point of criminal.

The sad thing is, once they jump they stay off the grid, sick of Party Politics and who can blame them…..once bitten, twice shy!…..for many it has been ‘twice bitten’!

But these are good people and we need them.

They say ‘time heals’ the problem is we don’t have much time. The great sale of Scotland has started, so those who we have lost must somehow find their metal again and seek out those who are true to the dream. If not a Political Party then Salvo or the Liberation Movement,

although both can be done at the same time!!!

We may lose faith in our Leaders but we must never lose the goal.

When one door closes, another will open if we seek it.

We grow or die!

Scotland must grow it’s mindset, otherwise to put it bluntly we are buggered! Sorry for the language, but it’s true and necessary to say it.

We must stop running away from the challenges we face. A GE is not going to help or change things in Scotland!

We need to have the courage to look outside the box and if that means first looking within ourselves…..so be it.

The growth of a Nation starts when its people realise they got it wrong and are determined to start again.

Our Politicians have marched us up the hill and down again too many times. Now is the time to say ‘no more’ especially to those in Holyrood.

Holyrood is our Parliament yet they had the audacity to lock us out.

In this coming GE we must fire a warning shot of things to come, then start planning for 2026!

We must grow both in numbers and stature, we must gain the reputation of saying what we mean and mean what we say, unlike our Politicians who always ‘ doublespeak’.

Growth is also about taking the road less travelled or even breaking new ground.

The idea of Abstention is breaking new ground, if you agree with it don’t let your Party shut you up, bring it to the table for discussion…. that’s democracy……direct democracy…..the purest kind of democracy!!!

Who dares wins!

Where is our resolve?

Beware of strangers bringing gifts….

Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?”, was a best-selling single, mirroring the people’s resolve against the “big bad wolf” of The Great

Depression.

When it comes to economics, Depression & Recession are one in the same beast, the former usually lasts longer.

So who is the ‘big bad wolf’ who keeps knocking at Scotland’s door trying to destroy what little we have left?

I say ‘What little we have left’ with a heavy heart because much has happened in secrecy that few know about.

For example, our own government in tow with Crown Estate Scotland have leased off 60kms [860kmsq] of seabed out from Aberdeen to an Off Shore business for about 50yrs [and we get nothing by the way!] and it looks like another 20 such projects are in the pipeline…..[that doesn’t include land attached to Freeports and EZs!]

So you see why I said ‘whats left’!

Asset stripping is big business worldwide and the big bad wolves in Westminster [ Tory & Labour ]who have their fingers in the Off Shore businesses are feathering their own nests for life whilst making sure Scotland becomes just a shell of its former glory.

The up-and-coming GE won’t stop this, we must stop the rot at Holyrood first. It’s that election that those parties true to Scotland must aim for. Remove the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

No matter what steps are taken by Salvo or the Liberation movement we will still need Politicians in Holyrood prepared to die for Scotland!

The more people who vote for Abstention where it’s possible will be firing the first salvo over the House of Westminster giving a warning of what’s to come.…..and they won’t like it.

Scotland….we have a problem!

Very true…

There are none so blind as those who will not see!

So, we are in a recession, we must be the only oil-producing country in the world that is!

…..and as long as we allow Westminster to suck every drop of oil out of our seas very little if anything will improve. I would go so far as saying the Holyrood finances have been in recession for years, existing only on pocket money from Westminster!

Can we….will we?

The first step to fixing a problem is to acknowledge that we have one in the first place!

Then find the root cause. You may think the problem and the cause are obvious but for many, it isn’t.

When people live in a certain mindset for years it’s very difficult to change, there’s a kind of security that comes with the ‘same old’! Any kind of change rattles the nerves!!….and lets be honest, the kind of changes we are advocating are huge.

Much patience is going to be required, we will have to walk their walk, not our own.

The up-and-coming GE this year gives us a window for discussion. Elections have a habit of getting people talking. Take your pick there are many topics of conversation to choose from. Cost of living, Gaza genocide, COVID corruption and all the lies they spew out on a daily basis etc etc…..the list is endless.

The last 4yrs of Tory rule have been the gift that just keeps on giving.

Tons of snake oil will be used to make the promises look good, greasy palms may well clasp yours….make sure you wash them afterwards😅

Scotland’s future is in your hands, think hard before you commit yourself and help where confusion reigns.….and there’s plenty of that!

Voter ID is the biggest Election con there is, it disenfranchises so many. The problem has never been Ballot Box Voting it’s been Postal Vote counting with no regulations.

It’s all about control and getting the right results.

Time for change!
