We sow the seeds that hopefully will make others think!

Our dream is for a Free Sovereign Scotland, but dreams only come into being if we make them so. Our battle for this is on two fronts, sharing our past history and letting people know what is happening in the here and now, and the two are linked!

Our relationship with Westminster is built on a lie, a lie that continues to work against us today through the emergence of Freeports coming to Scotland.

Freeports are a huge issue but you won’t find much information about them from our elected members even at a local level. For even they are being sold a ‘pup’. Everything seems to be ‘on a need-to-know’ basis or more on ‘what you don’t need to know’!

Salvo and the ISP have been very busy working together to make sure the public knows the truth. Westminster is selling off huge chunks of Scottish land to Foreign companies giving them the freedom to do almost anything they want.

Local Councils will have no say, which in turn means WE will have no say on anything that happens within the fence and in some cases beyond!

The land being sold off will no longer belong to Scotland for at least 25yrs and they can do an awful lot of harm in those 25 years!

Chasing a dream means becoming active in one way or another and sometimes to road we run down will mean knocking down a few obstacles. Freeports are one such obstacle because once in place it will be too late.

The lie has allowed this, so our message is a dual one and it’s urgent.

When it comes to politics and wars, who wins?

Well, it’s not the innocents for sure and very often in war, neither side can claim a moral victory. Yet there is one group of people whether it be in politics or war who not only benefit but have the ability to completely change public opinion……they are the media!

Most of us rely on the media to keep us updated on what’s happening around the world, be it good or bad. Once upon a time, we could depend on ‘independent’ journalists for unbiased reports, there is now no such thing.

Every media organization has an agenda, a political agenda! Governments no longer run countries because big media moguls fund and run governments. The largest media mogul at the moment is Rupert Murdoch but there are others on that list like, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Zuckerberg, Elton Musk and yes even Oprah Winfrey!!

All with big bucks and huge influence.

I feel the point we are missing in Scotland just now is, the media moguls who are deciding what we see on our screens every day are the very same ones who are trying to wipe out the existence of Scotland.

Now, let me make this clear, what I am NOT saying is the atrocities we see on a daily basis do not exist, but rather the agenda behind the edited pictures are meant to influence our thinking.

To a position where they hope we will give our Leaders Carte Blanche to respond in any way they think fit….but its not working!!

Think media, think Scotland!

The media do not work for our best interests so why should we trust them on anything? In this country, at every GE, they chose a political side and win elections for that Party, and we pay the price.

So, please be aware, be aware of the agendas behind the words, and today with GB News hiring Boris Johnson to lead a news programme just proves my point!

Give me an independent blogger any day, whether I agree with their thoughts or not. At least they are honest thoughts!

Opportunity doesn’t often knock on our doors but when it does a choice must be made. Do we grab it or do we ignore?

Depending on which poll you choose to believe we have to accept that the number of Scots wanting Independence is above 50%. That being the case one has to wonder why is there a reluctance by those 50%+ to jump when opportunity knocks?

Is it, ‘Stockholm syndrome, Party loyalty, Blind obedience, or Personality Politics? Have any of these become more important than Independence?

An opportunity has been put to us, one that has merit is legal and will gain International recognition. It may or may not lead to some kind of Referendum, that will be for us to decide.

But what it will do is put us on path where we the People are in control not the continuity Politicians we have now.

Neither Sovereignty nor Independence is going to fall into our laps, we will, like it or not have to work for it. Nothing worth having is free, therefore if every YES voice is really serious, join the ever-growing Liberation movement and let’s get Scotland moving!

I have always been known as a rebel within certain circles, that will not be a surprise to some of you! I was labelled this because I dared to ask questions, sometimes uncomfortable ones. I did so, not to make trouble but to show that I was quite able to exercise my own brain and not take all the rubbish that came from certain pulpits!!!!!

That reasoning has continued into my political thinking, if your gut feeling is, that something is wrong, then it usually is and we should never be afraid to say so, whoever or whatever our allegiance is to.

Become a ‘mover and shaker’!

I was brought up, like many of you to ‘respect my elders’ and others in certain professions. But I soon learned two things about respect, they are, you have to earn respect and respect is a two way street!

The word respect means to admire someone for their abilities and qualities or something they may have achieved.

The older I get the fewer there are who fall into any of those categories now!

We do have a few new ‘movers & shakers’ in Scotland, but I struggle to find any Politicians who fit the respect box. There are a couple of ‘maybes’!!

The new ‘movers & shakers’ do deserve our respect, for it is they who will shape a new Scotland, but there is still a lot more untapped talent and expertise to capture.

To ‘capture’ their talent we must first respect where they are in their thoughts about a Sovereign Scotland and try to understand where they are coming from. Going in like a ‘bull in a china shop’ will only see them running out of the back door!

If we give others the floor first, then respect will flow in equal measure.

I believe that even within Salvo there is much untapped talent, there are a lot of savvy folks out there in the hubs, they just need nurturing to believe in themselves.

There are folk out there who say ‘I could never talk to people’……well next time you are in a pub after you’ve had a few bevvies……just listen to yourself😂

We earn respect by speaking the truth and there is no greater truth than that which lies within the Claim of Right.

Let’s just hope she never becomes our Defence Secretary!

Scotland is ruled by two governments, one is both incompetent & corrupt and the other is just incompetent!

Between the two the people endure enormous hardship and that will remain the case until we the people do something about it.

I recognise that nearly every country is struggling in one way or another, but why do we always end up at the bottom of the list…..on nearly everything?

The answer to that is, as I have said, incompetence & corruption, perhaps out of those two, corruption should come first because the rich are not incompetent when it comes to multiplying their wealth!

The sad thing is, it doesn’t have to be this way in Scotland. We can change things but we have to have both the will and the courage to do so. There are other models of government!

There are a few heroes on the horizon but we need more to step up and take their place in Scotland’s future. People who will lead from the front with no egos, their only love being Scotland and its people.

People who will flesh out a new way of governance with equality for all. People who are competent enough to use the Constitution that already exists and bring it into the 21st century.

I am physically and mentally past it, but there will be quite a number who read this wee blog, who are quite able to step up and take their place in Scotland future, and you don’t have to be a Politician…….well not yet anyway😂

Where are the Willie McRaes, the lone wolves, the heroes of Scotland?

Who is there that will shout from the roofs, Scotland is a Sovereign Nation?

Today amongst our MPs and our MSPs there is but a whimper. No one, not one ever uses the Claim of Right as McCrea did. They could if they wished use it to stop Free Ports in Scotland, but no, not a squeak.

They are too cosy, too pally, on first-name terms with those who seek to asset-strip Scotland. No guts, no integrity left.

Silence and secrecy are the order of the day……welcome to Scotland in 2023!

If ever Scotland was ready for a political rebellion, it is now!

If ever there was a time for the people to make a change it is now.!

If ever there was a time for people to become heroes of their own future, it is now, irrespective of what Party you belong to.

We have the means, we have the motive let us find the willpower to see this through.

A dream is only a dream unless you make it otherwise.

There is a big difference between reacting and responding to situations that arise. Reactions are driven by our survival instincts. We saw an example of this in Humza’s conference speech. With little to offer his supporters, he hastily came up with Tax Freeze with no consultation whatsoever. That was a ‘fag packet’ reaction!

Sunak is about to follow suit with Tax reductions for the rich after losing two big By-Elections.

To respond means taking a step back and seeing the whole picture, the whys and wherefores. It requires some critical thinking skills and the possibility of changing course. But that never happens with a ‘trickle-down’ economy where the rich must always get richer at the cost of those at the bottom.

Sadly today we see reaction politics in nearly every sphere of life, especially in the Middle East and it’s having a domino effect.

Politicians are reacting one way with the people responding oppositely.

We need more of this kind of response in Scotland. This is the moment to demand our Sovereign rights, this is the time to say to Holyrood and Westminster, No more and No Freeports.

We in Scotland have loud voices, let’s use them!

If I am not mistaken Salvo has now held three events highlighting the truths about Freeports.

To date, not one MP, MSP or Counsellor has seen fit to attend…….so much for politīcians! Either they have been told not to attend incase awkward questions are asked or to put it bluntly, they don’t give a toss what we the voters think and want us kept in the dark.

What are they hiding?

I ask that because if Freeports were a good thing surely they would be keen to argue the point and show us why?

Their silence speaks volumes!

The question that then arises for me is this, are these the kind of people we want or need standing in our corner?

Do we really want MSPs or even other Indy Parties who are just prepared to roll over and acquiesce, accepting the status quo?

Any Party prepared to do so is no friend of Scotland.

Any Party in government or hoping to be so who is prepared to sell off our land to the highest foreign bidder is a traitor to Scotland as are those who sit on the fence.

It’s hard to trust fence-sitters.

Those who are enabling Freeports are not serious about either Independence or regaining our Sovereignty and I am sad to say even some Parties have one foot in and one foot out of Sovereignty as well.

We need to embrace the whole ethos of Sovereignty where People are in Power or we waste our time.

On Thursday evening we started our winter series of card games with friends from Helensburgh, we played ‘Gin Rummy’ where as you know Aces count!

It occurred to me that Scotland holds all the Aces when it comes to resources and Salvo now holds all the Aces when it comes to regaining Sovereignty.

How and when Salvo plays those Aces will be critical.

The world is changing before our eyes and not in a good way. Yesterday Labour swept the Tories away in two By-Elections at a time when Labour’s own officials are resigning because of Starmer’s stance on the war in Gaza….so watch this space!

Timing is important in all decisions we make, opportunities to play those Aces will come and we must be ready.

I think we can safely say the SNP have parked their plans for ‘Independence Now’! That leaves Salvo with the only credible plan to move forward along with PPs who run on a ticket of Direct Democracy in its true sense of People not Parliament are Sovereign.

We’ve seen and lived through Parliaments who declare they are Sovereign and have suffered the consequences. Scotland deserves much better than a Parliament that shuts its people out.

When a Leader of a country declares he/she speaks for the Country we must make sure they really do and the only way that can happen is to adopt a system where the people really are in charge, not some tin pot Politician!

We are on the cusp of something new, believe it and get ready.

If ever light was needed, it is now!

Scotland is not in a position to influence World events, but we can influence events here. Yesterday a vote took place in Aberdeen, in effect it means, ‘more of the same’. More grovelling but probably with fewer chess players in place! A weakened hand making impossible demands.

Do we ever learn?

Salvo and The Claim of Right can be the shinning beacon through the dark politics of Scotland, there are enough of us to share that light, we have to, even though what we see daily on the TV etc drags our spirits down and despair sets in.

A new Scotland is waiting in the shadows and it is our responsibility to bring it into the light. I have always believed truth will out and it will once again, no matter how our representatives try to hide it or deny it.

The ‘gravy train’ will stop one way or another.
