Validate or validated is a word that often crops up in the press and in some blogs, another word with the same meaning is ‘endorse’. We use these words as a form of agreement to something that has been said or done.
If on the other hand we don’t agree, we Scots can be very vocal with the language being quite blue at times!
Words mean so much but I also believe silence in some situations can mean so much more.
Silence can also be seen as being in agreement or an endorsement to something.
How often in your lifetime has someone said to you, ‘why didn’t you say something?’
Yes, when Scots find their voice that voice can be heard far and wide but we need more voices……there is so much silence just now. People are weary, I get that, but in the silence, Westminster continues to shout, through control.
Freeports, Northsea energy pipeline, Oil extraction licences and so much more!
We must make ourselves heard, the Ballot box so far hasn’t worked for us, either as individuals or as a country. A new path has emerged, a way where every voice can be heard.
All it requires is a signature!
No, marching is required, unless you’re so inclined! No long letters to your MSP or MPs. Just 2mins in time, to sign up and be part of history.
That signature is worth more than a thousand words and will break the silence!
No more validation!
