Something happened in Edinburgh yesterday, it was different, it was bold and it will change the conversation.….and it certainly brought the Unionist trolls out today! You can feel the fear!

They seem to be confusing the number who turned out at relativley short notice yesterday with the number who have already signed the Liberation.scot document.

One of the Qs yesterday was how do get the message out, I agree in most part with Peter Bell about Social Media and using #. However, I would endeavour to say those who follow us either as Salvo or personally are already engaged in the Political debate. So how do we engage with those who aren’t? The 1st Liberation leaflet is one way and I guess others will follow.

Two things will be required of us, yes us! (1) the giving of our time to our nearest Hub and (2) Raising money.

Independence does not come cheap!

There will be printing costs, the hiring of venues for the Hubs and ultimately the very possibility of Salvo Legal fees! The latter being the most important given the timing of future events.

Yesterday those of us who were there left with a buzz, we must harness that feeling to propel us forward! This cannot become a damp squib! We cannot allow the ‘nay-sayers’ to have the last laugh!

We need to meet up folks! We need to encourage and support each other.

We have a message and people need to hear it.

Tomorrow we break through from the inside! A new dawn, a new conversation, a new determination!

……and there is nothing those who walk through the corridors of both Holyrood and Westminster can do about it!

The lie will be fully exposed, the future is there for the taking and take it we must. Tomorrow is not a one-off, where we just turn up, make our voices heard then pack up, go home and forget!

No, it’s just day 1, no more talking about Sec 30s, it’s now all about who we really are as a Nation. We must thank the Treasury for an easy way into that conversation! The news of Charles getting a pay rise of 45% is the perfect opener! Even some Tories are embarressed.

We can no longer afford to be indifferent, the corruption within Westminster is horrendous. They say the cost of Covid is in part the reason for our financial woes! It may be but not for the reasons they try to tell us, but who pocketed the cash? Firms set up by pals overnight with 2 quid in the Bank…..and no one questioned that!

The Salvo top team deserve our thanks and the best way we can do that is to ‘grab the thistle’ and run with it!

When everything else fails, leave it to The People!

Almost every Indy Party in Scotland still believes Westminster is the way…..I did say ‘almost’ didn’t I?

As long as Politicians tread this well-trodden path nothing will be accomplished. Words may have altered from ‘asking’ to ‘demanding’ but the answer will always be No!

Even Westminster has changed the words they use, from ‘not now’ to ‘never’!

Salvo has found another way, a Legal way which bypasses Westminster yet uses its own Legal Act!

Just like a boomerang, this Act that they signed into Law will come back and hit them where it hurts most……in their pockets!

I guess it will also be rather humiliating as the World watches on at their response! Because they will respond one way or another!

First step though is Holyrood, lets see how they react first!

Smart people see the direction the wind is blowing and act accordingly. A different wind is blowing now, one with direction and purpose. Stand with it, not against it!

Westminster may say No but the world will say Yes!

The plan is there, the Documents are there, the process has started, and all we need is more people to sign up. That’s our job!

All Scottish history books should be moved to the Fiction section of a Library, apart from a few modern-day authors who are attempting to put the records straight.

Salvo is doing just that, not through reference books or papers written by so-called notable historians but by going back to the original documents, all dated, signed, then hidden but now found!!!

If Westminster can dredge up Laws made by King Henry V111 to keep a firm grip on the country, is there any reason why we can’t use The Claim of Right to reclaim Scotland?

No, is the answer to that!

They can neither say it doesn’t exist nor that it’s outdated.

New Countries throughout the world have reclaimed their identity and lands with a lot less evidence than we have. That is why the EU Courts of Justice has to be the place of last resort for Salvo and Scotland.

There are formal EU procedures to observe, and boxes to tick.

Saturday is a necessary step towards that end! Do it right and we will succeed, try to cut corners, we won’t, it’s as simple as that! Yes, all this will take time but we need that time to educate and to build up the number of signatures which is also a requirement, proof this is the will of the People of Scotland.

I understand the feeling of despair, I have felt it since I first voted Yes in 1979 in the first Scottish Devolution Referendum and here I am now well into my 70s fighting on, but with some added pain!!!

I think a few of us oldies will roll up on Saturday aided by medication😂 but be there we will! It’s a day for all generations.

Join us, but just as important join……

It is a very sad fact that many fear the truth! They may be curious but cannot overcome their fears. And that is why there will be some who would like to come on Saturday but won’t.

There is an uncanniness about truth, facing it often demands change and within the realm of Scottish Politics at the moment Saturdays event will cause butterflies in the stomachs of a few.

I have spoken to a few lately who appear to have a foot in more than one camp and they are having a problem reconciling this. There is Party camp and People’s camp and sometimes the two don’t gel. Yes, one day choices will have to be made as every line and every word of the COR is debated and poured over, but that is yet to come, it is not on Saturday.

Saturday is about giving future notice to a government who has had mandate after mandate and has done nothing in 9yrs!

There is a Truth out there and when made public on Saturday it will change the Constitutional debate for good.

Saturday is ‘Peoples Day’ not Party Day!

No Party who states they are working for a future Independent Scotland should fear a Peoples movement or deny their members the opportunity to become part of it.

The Politicking will come later when Politicians are required.

So come along whoever you are and whatever Party you belong to and see Unity in action.

There is no doubt Saturday will be a great occasion for Scotland and for us. But now I am thinking ahead……what next?

One thing I am sure of, we cannot just sit back and assume that our Politicians are suddenly going to wake up and run with the Stirling Directive on the day they receive it, [which by the way won’t be on Saturday] they won’t! Politicians don’t run with anything! First will be the silence then denial and then maybe a reply……of some sort!

So the ‘what next’ is not just up to those who front Salvo, we are all Salvo so we will have to continue to do our part and that may involve more than engaging and educating people!

So, here’s an idea!

Next year we will have a GE, which will give us the opportunity to engage with our would-be Scottish MPs. There is no better place to do that than at a local Hustings! Just imagine the look on their faces if Salvo members turned up to ask some awkward questions about the COR. 😂😂

And we use the same tactic at the next Holyrood Election. There is no feeling like it than to see a sitting MSPs jaw drop when you confront them face-to-face with the truth!…….in public!

Saturday sees the 1st Salvo being fired, but we must keep the pressure up. Rome wasn’t built in a day! and neither will be the return of our Country.

Now is the time to think about future plans whilst getting on with the day job……which is…..

When the word ‘Equality’ is used today it’s usually in connection with diversity and inclusion.

But me being me also thinks about equality within Politics! The problem with 99.9% of Politicians is they think themselves to be above the people who actually voted them in.

Maybe that’s another reason why I am so drawn to the ethos of the Claim of Right and the building bricks that underpin it.

All men and women are equal no matter what status they hold and all are answerable to one another.

Yesterday I put a picture up about next Saturday inviting everyone to come to Holyrood to ‘meet the Salvo team’. David Llewellyn quite rightly added, we are all the Salvo team! …… he is right, we are and we should be proud of it.

Our present Political system is over-weighted as is every department within the government. Take the NHS, including the SNHS, it’s overloaded with expensive quangos and managers taking cash away from front-line services.

Other Political models throughout Europe are smaller and more efficient. This is because the ordinary people who form the building blocks have more power than those few at the top! Good models for a future Independent Scotland.

On Saturday a new political discourse will start. Our Politicians may try to ignore us but we ain’t going anywhere. The Law is the Law and we will stand on it no matter what!

The Salvo train has arrived at it’s first destination and we, it’s passengers will meet up on the steps of Holyrood next Saturday at 3pm to fire the first Salvo !

The Stirling Directive will send shock waves throughout Holyrood and its ripples will be felt far beyond its walls.

‘Many people now want immediate action to honour the law of Scotland and the Constitutional Settlement, agreed as a condition of the Treaty of Union on the 22nd of July 1706.The #StirlingDirective will see a radical shift in Scotlands Constitutional debate’ [isp. scot]

This is not wishful thinking, although many will make it out to be so. This Directive is built on Legal Documents that still stand today. They have even been used successfully in Westminster in recent years. King Charles swore an Oath to the COR, albeit the English version!!!…..but the original version is still Law in International eyes.

Although a number of representatives from various groups and Parties are involved in the forming of this Directive, no one representative owns it.

They are all there at our behest and represent us The People! They also represent groups who believe fully in the ethos of the COR.

So we are all of one mind. United in one cause!

Be part of the new game in town if you are not already so.

Today we can see how near we are to the end of the 1st part of our journey!

In one week’s time, a new journey for Scotlands People will begin and for the Scottish Government, I suspect!

A number within the Yes groups have been negative towards Salvo asking what they were going to do with all this historical information, well next Saturday all their questions and doubts will be answered.

Political quests have got us nowhere, now is the time to use the Tools we have. For those of us already on this train it will be an exciting day and on a personal level I can’t wait to meet you in person. For others, it will be an awakening a chance to climb aboard and be part of something new with a new purpose.

Yes, there will be challenges, my guess is the first thing Holyrood will do is dismiss it as a ‘crank’! Some weird notion! Well we will see about that!

There will however be some within Holyrood who know exactly what it’s all about and will feel pretty uncomfortable even threatened.

Salvo and Liberation.scot has managed to cross the divide, uniting thousands across the YES movement, this is not Party it is the People.

There is a metaphorical river running through Scotland at the moment, on one bank there are The People and on the other the Politicians! One group are on the March, plan in hand, the other is still looking for solutions.

Let’s invite everyone to the party next Saturday!

Tools are only useful if you know how to use them!

A new washing machine arrived this week, the old one was nearly 15yrs old and to start it we had to press several option buttons. This new one has the latest technology, everything is ‘soft touch’ there is a difference and remembering that difference is the name of the game😂

Within the Independence movement at the moment, several ways or tools are being presented by various Party Leaders. This is not a bad thing.

For me personally the problem comes when a Party tries to own the whole process taking the power away from the People! It’s all about Parliament and Politicians!!

I don’t fit into the Parliament and Politicians model anymore!! It doesn’t work, too much power, too much corruption with no immediate recall. We use our Democratic power for 5mins at the Ballot Box and that’s it for the next 5yrs!

Power given is Power lost!

New tools have arrived to change this forever, we just have to learn to use them properly and to our advantage.

Salvo is the tool and Liberation.Scot is the power behind it. We, The People are the only ones who can make this happen. Hubs will need to be creative about how they go about it.

Educate…..yes, but make it fun! I would imagine fundraising will also need to be fun! So let’s think ‘out of the box’!

The road ahead will not be easy, the enemies of Scotland will appear with all of their tricks but we have one thing on our side they cannot deny and that is TRUTH!
