Addicted to money…

So much for the Chancellors’ idea of giving more money to the rich in the hope that they will spend it.

Nimish Shah, CEO of the firm Blick Rothenburg has publicly admitted he won’t be spending more and his tax cuts will just sit in the bank.

I think people need to understand that rich people are only interested in getting richer. They have an insatiable appetite for money that is impossible to satisfy.

In other words they have an addiction which in many ways is no different to that of a drug addict and today’s budget or fiscal event only serves to feed that addiction.

There is an old saying that says ‘money breeds money’ For some odd reason they feel entitled. I am not talking about the ordinary person who has built up a business in their lifetime and is now reaping the rewards, no I am talking about people who feel they are entitled to more at the expense of others. The others being you and me!

We are now in a Recession and we have the Banks and the Treasury pulling against each other, this is not going to end well.

For years the Tories have preached that we cannot borrow more because the debt will be left to future generations to pay off. Now they have completely reversed that policy taking us all into unknown territories. The black hole has just got a whole lot blacker and a whole lot deeper.

Even the media are going nuts about it.

This is reactive politics, not responsive politics. This is panic, blind panic.

Rather than calm everyone, the nervousness has heightened. Even those with no knowledge of fiscal matters know you can’t just borrow yourself out of a hole this immense. They also know who is going to end up paying for it!

Rees-Mogg keeps blaming Putin but my question is, who made those deals, who decided we should be so reliant on Russia?

Surely it is incumbent upon every Leader of a country to plan for the unexpected, always have a planB. We used to store gas but even those storage facilities were shut down. All our eggs went into one basket, a Russian basket!

Have we learned any lessons, I doubt it. Now our future needs are going to be found in Nuclear Power.

Somehow I don’t think Nuclear Power and Fracking go side by side, Britain does not have the safest geological foundations!

But hey, what’s a few minor earthquakes compared with all those profits?
